Mal and Meilin
Teenagers Mal and Meilin are best friends - but they live in different countries. Listen in each week as they call each other and chat about anything and everything, from their experiences as mixed-race teens to their favourite fandoms. They may be separated by the US-Canadian border, but through this podcast, they'll prove that true friendship has no boundaries.
In this episode, Mal and Meilin unleash their inner writers. They take turns giving each other different writing prompts to see who can create a compelling story. Writing prompts include dialogue, image prompts, and a fun game called Make It Sus (courtesy of Mal’s brain).
This week we’re playing a ~family friendly~ version of Fuck, Marry, Kill! Mal and Meilin give each other trios, and they must choose who they want to be stuck in an elevator with, who they want to be partnered with for a class project, and who they want to be their manager at a new job.
Mal and Meilin have just finished watching The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, so of course they're going to talk about it. They run down their favorite symbolic moments in the show, talk about race issues through a Marvel/pop culture lens, and of course quote their favorite Zemo moments.
