Clara Galle and Julio Peña sat with me to discuss the sequel to Through My Window, aptly titled -- Through My Window: Across The Sea. The film originated as a Spanish-language film. Still, it crossed over into the hearts of millions after it was made available with subtitles in several languages and various dubbing options. It became one of the biggest movies in the United States. Galle and Peña were nice enough to discuss why they think the first one was a hit, the dark turn taken in this one, their character's relationship now being off kilter since being apart, and get into the details of filming those spicy sex scenes. Galle and Peña also finally give a definitive answer on whether or not fans can expect to see the third and final installment of the books adapted.

We met with Graham McTavish and Michelle Hurd right before the premiere of their film, Somewhere in Montana to talk about how they got involved in this passion project, the true meaning behind the film, and why Montana and this entire process have been so important to them. Hurd spoke about her process, how important acting is to her, and the overall vibe of being in Montana with the people, the land, and its beauty. Ramirez, who plays Jared, was excited to talk about the show but said it was bittersweet to say goodbye to some of his closest friends. While we got emotional about saying goodbye, Ramirez kept smiling like a sunbeam. His performance is outstanding. He is honestly one of the kindest people. He is authentic, honest, caring, and funny. We spoke to Freddie Dennis from Netflix's latest hit, Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story. This is a spin-off/prequel of the successful Netflix original series Bridgerton. Dennis plays Reynolds, who works for the King and secretly has a relationship with the Queen's man, Brimsley (Sam Clemmett). While the series focuses on Queen Charlotte and King George (their initial meeting, marriage, and such) -- Reynolds and Brimsley became fan favorites as they had to hide their relationship. It's the first LGBTQIA+ story told in the Bridgerton world, and Dennis said he could not be more honored to be a part of it. While Dennis gave a lot of credit to his fellow actors, the writers, and the crew of the show -- he went into detail on how he decided to play Reynolds, the conversations he had with Sam to make sure they were getting it right, and some of his favorite scenes to shoot. We also talk about the graceful hand-touching scene (with no dialogue) that happens (if you know, you know). Dennis is one of the easiest people to connect with -- before we hit record, we chatted about where each of us was, how it was sunny in London, and just about life in general. Dennis is exceptionally humble and fights every compliment I give him. However, I think I got through in the end. After dissecting his character, we both spoke about what he is up to now and if there will be a second season of Queen Charlotte that we desperately want.

We spoke with Violet Brinson from The CW hit, 'Walker,' about how her character, Stella, has evolved from the first script she received to now. Brinson was a delight because she was willing to answer everything and anything. We took a deep dive into the reasoning behind Stella's decisions -- if she would make a good ranger, Stella's future, and what it's like being a part of the Walker family. We discussed the careful balance between comedy and drama (as we know, there is a lot of drama on the show). We had so much fun. Brinson also revealed the latest topics and messages in the group chat between the cast, what it's like playing Jared Padalecki's daughter, and how much she has learned from the cast and crew over time. We even heard about more pranks and jokes while on set and what it was like when Jensen came in to direct. Violet said it was something special seeing Jared and Jensen together. We joked a lot about Jared and Jensen, but hearing more stories (including some from that carnival-themed episode) was awesome. Brinson is one of the sweetest humans on the planet. We got along from the second we both appeared on Zoom. We covered everything, and I owe her a good gallop lesson when I come on set next season. Violet is THE BEST. I can't wait to see her in person. We spoke with Benny Safdie about his latest beloved film, Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret. Safdie told some great stories about his life and personal connection to the film, even though he was shocked that they thought of him for the role. Safdie, who is known for some outlandish characters in some of the other films he has been in and/or worked on, said he has never opened himself up to a role that was this similar to his life (since Safdie is a dad who lives in a dual religion household). Safdie told some great stories about how he worked on making Herb the best dad he could be, the importance of a movie like this, his happiness that it has done so well, and the importance of enjoying being a kid while you can (because let's be honest, adulting isn't fun). So, if you loved the film, you will want to listen to Safdie's fun stories about making it and even his first interaction with Kathy Bates (which includes a story about her infamous role in misery).

Katie Holmes, who directed, co-wrote with Phaedon A. Papadopoulos, and starred in 'Rare Objects' sat down with her co-stars Julia Mayorga (American Rust), Derek Luke (upcoming in Disney+ series The Crossover), and Alan Cumming (host of hit series The Traitors) to discuss the importance of never giving up, being okay not being okay, and taking things in one day at a time in their latest film. Holmes, who said the story is about friendship, also reiterated the importance of self-discovery. Adding that this project was one, she knew she had to adapt and direct. Meanwhile, Mayorga said while her character goes through a personal tragedy, she enjoyed the freedom, as an actor, to explore the character and watch her find her strength. Meanwhile, Luke and Cumming said they were happy to play characters that were emotional and flawed, with personal problems to overcome -- yet, one trait they were both particularly proud of was the way their characters were supportive of the women in the film. While all of the cast reflected on various themes in the film during the interviews, for me, the most important thing to take away was that it's okay to fall apart; we can glue ourselves back together.

Meg Donnelly is one of the most authentic people I have ever had the pleasure of sitting down and talking to. We start the conversation by getting properly into 'The Winchesters' -- her character and the cast. We talk about the storyline, her arc, and the future. During the conversation, she constantly praises her fellow castmates, crew, and writers. She downplays a lot of the skills she has infused into Mary, and I find myself continually reminding her of how good she is. After talking about the show for a while, we can't deny the fact that its predecessor Supernatural looms over us in more ways than one. So we begin to talk about what it was like working with Jensen on and off screen, seeing the Impala in person (and getting to drive it), advice Jensen gave her, celebrating Dean's birthday party, and that epic finale. We also manifested hope for a renewal of the show. While we talk, we find ourselves relating to one another in more ways than one as the conversation flows so effortlessly. After I was done recording, we both stayed on for a while, just talking about life and some fun things we can do behind the scenes for season two. It was a joy to get to know Meg on a deeper level, hear about her family, and constantly laugh together. She is a great person to know and hopefully a new friend for life. Joshua Malina (best known for shows like West Wing and Scandal) met with me to talk about his epic career and theatre stints along the way, including his latest run in Leopoldstadt. Malina is such a pleasure to meet because he exceeds your expectations. I have met him in the past, and he has always been lovely, but he is one of the most humble actors on the planet. There is a special joy in his eyes when you speak to him about working as an actor. You can see that this is nothing something that he has just "gotten used to" over the years, but rather something he loves and is excited about every second of every day. Of course, I had to bring up one of my favorite characters of all time from Scandal. Still, we go over many of his projects with Malina, excited about every single one and thankful for everyone, leading to his latest role in the play, Leopoldstadt. From the clips I have seen, the play is funny, but profound. It's topical and important. Malina talks about why this play is unlike anything he has ever done, adding that he did not hesitate for a second when offered the role. When discussing how hard it might be to do so many shows a day, Malina said he doesn't want to complain, and that he is thankful and will continue working because he loves it. Elizabeth Mitchell is sunshine wrapped in a person. She comes on the screen with a huge smile and couldn't be more ready to spend time reviewing some of her most significant roles (even sharing with me the one item she took from the Once Upon a Time set -- and yes, she got up and grabbed it). Mitchell can't help but make you feel at peace as you speak with her. She is calming, happy, thankful, extremely caring, and sweet. She is confident and a strong advocate for women as she talks about her roles. Although I could talk about her past roles for hours and hours, we eventually get to her latest role in Outer Banks, where she plays Carla Limbrey, an interesting woman who might help cause a miracle or two this season. Mitchell is driven by her passion for bringing stories to light and doesn't take a moment for granted. But one thing is clear; she is a mom first. Mitchell loves, love -- and we love her.

Ian Bohen is an actor with one of those magical careers. He has been in everything from Chicago P.D., Superman & Lois, Teen Wolf, Yellowstone, and Teen Wolf: The Movie, to name a few. With a career like that, you might think that Bohen is walking around with a chip on his shoulder, but let me tell you, that couldn't be further from the truth. Bohen is entirely down-to-earth, light-hearted, funny, thoughtful, smart, and works hard to make acting look effortless. We talk about everything, including what will happen when Yellowstone returns. His character, Ryan, is facing an uncertain future as he begins to fall in love but is torn away from the ranch to take care of the cattle down south. While Bohen has not seen the scripts for the second part, we both rattle off some ideas ad theories we have for his character when the show does return. There is also a moment we both bond over hats (yes, it will make sense, I promise). In addition to anticipating one of the biggest shows returning, Bohen decided to return as Peter Hale in Teen Wolf: The Movie because he felt that story just wasn't done. It's fun to hear him tell stories of what it was like the second he stepped on set for the first time, hanging out with the cast after all of this time, and if there might be another movie in the Teen Wolf fandom's future. Bohen was delighted with a big friendly smile; he was so generous with his time. There were no questions off limits, but hearing him tell all these stories was so much fun. He is just a nice guy who deserves all of the attention he is getting, and I couldn't be happier for him.

Every now and then comes a horror film where you can not predict what will happen. There is Something Wrong with The Children is a film that sets offs with two couples (one with kids and one without) that are having a lovely weekend together -- as we get to know the couples, we begin to see issues that happen when you are in long-term relationships. However, overall they are getting through it. So as we weed through some awkward moments, for the most part, things seem fine. However, one exploration trip around the property affects the children in a way that changes the entire tone of the film. We spoke with Carlos Santos (Thomas), who is married to Ellie (Amanda Crew), and Alisha Wainwright (Margaret), who is married to Ben (Zach Gilford). Carlos said he had so much fun on set playing in the blood, bonding with his cast mates, and having one of the most significant moments in the film (that will have you yell out loud). Meanwhile, Alisha said it's a lot emotional and that her character is really trying to ensure the weekend goes well for everyone but when the horror begins, she said certain things helped her tap into high levels of emotions. Alisha also added she too felt the same thing Carlos felt on set -- connection. She said the reason she thinks the chemistry comes off so well is because there was such a sense of friendship with everyone involved in the film. She goes on to discuss what it was like when things shifted and how she handled working with the younger actors.

Taylor Handley, best known as Kyle McLusky, from Mayor of Kingstown joined us to breakdown all of that drama that happened in the season one finale of Mayor of Kingstown and discuss where we find Kyle when we come back this season. We start out discussing the amazing career that Handley has been able to build since he was young -- while Handley says he doens't know where it comes from, he has always had a passion for it (even when he was playing a tree on stage). Handley said nothing is better then breaking down the character... what does the character want? What does the chatacter not want? Handley said nothing is better than having this equation and trying new things and working hard to solve it. From there we begin to breakdown how Handley was able to handle the emotional toll that season one finale had on him and his character to where we find them when season two begins. Handley is such a great person. He was energetic, happy, enthusiastic, clearly excited to be working in the industry, and was open to answer all of my questions and spend as much time with me as I needed. We got to talk about life and work -- films we loved and the industry. Handley is the kind of person you meet and just feel good talking to and want to be best friends with. He deserves everything he has achieved and I can not wait to see what else he does. Thank you Taylor for such a wonderful interview.

We spoke to the Jeb Stuart (executive producer) of Vikings: Valhalla, along with cast members Sam Corlett, Frida Gustavsson, Leo Suter to discuss what drama we should prepare for, for season two. Stuart talks about working hard to expand the world this season, the themes he gets to explore in this world -- during a brief time when men and women were relatively on the same page regarding gaining power. Stuart talks about how the show is so relevant because a lot of what happens this season are still issues we face today. He is excited for fans to see the new season. Christian Bale, Harry Melling, Lucy Boynton, Harry Lawtey, and writer Scott Cooper sat down to discuss their latest project, The Pale Blue Eye, which is currently in theaters and set to come to Netflix. While Cooper said he has been working on this project for over a decade, he wanted to work with Bale, but it never seemed to be the right time. So once everything fell into place (which meant an older Bale), Cooper said he was ready to move forward on the project. Meanwhile, Bale said Cooper was waiting for him to be grumpier and older (to which he jokes he succeeded). Bale talked about Cooper never getting his accent right and the similarities and differences between his character Augustus Landor and Mellings, Edgar Allan Poe. While the two initially seem significantly different when the movie starts, you can begin to see similarities emerge that help you understand how these two worked together. Add in Boynton and Lawtey, and you have yourself one crazy detective story that is filled with twists and turns to the film's last minute.

We spoke with Nina Hoss and Betty Gabriel about what it was like joining the cast for the latest installment of Jack Ryan. This season has Jack working as a CIA case officer in Rome when he is tipped off about a secret plan which turns into a nightmare and sets him off on the run for his life. The government isn't even on his side as they, too, are looking to capture and bring him in. Hoss plays Czech President Alena Kovac, who deals with major political problems. In contrast, Gabriel plays CIA Rome Station Chief Elizabeth Wright, who starts trying to capture Jack until she thinks he might be on to something. Hoss and Gabriel talk briefly about what it was like joining the show, how fun it was playing badass women, and what fans can expect when they see them both this season.

Jack Messina began a journey years ago when he took a chance and auditioned for the role of Cal Stone for Manifest, and as they say, the rest is history. Messina began drawing a map of what young Cal would look like, how he would speak, and how to embark on a show full of twists and turns. Messina played Cal for three seasons when he was told the network canceled the show. Fans began protesting and creating campaigns to bring the show back, and luckily, Netflix heard their cries. The streaming service revived it to give it a proper farewell. In doing so, there would be a time jump, meaning Messina wouldn't be playing Cal for the final season. So Messina met with Ty Doran, who would be playing the adult version of Cal. The two discussed the show and Cal's storyline. In a prior interview with Doran, he said that Messina created the Cal "we all know and love," and he wanted to study him and pay homage to what Messina had created. However, in a beautiful twist of fate, for Season 4 Part One, released on Netflix (which contained 10 of the 20 final episodes), Messina received a call that they wanted him to come back in and film again. Messina said returning to the show he loved so much was a full-circle moment. We discuss what it was like working on the show from the beginning, what it was like leaving and coming back, and what he will miss the most when the final episodes air. Messina is a true gentleman and spent so much time with us; he is patient and sweet. It was a wonderful experience meeting him, and we can't wait to see what he has planned next.

The Glass Onion cast came out in full force to talk about the latest installment of the "whodunit" comedy. Everyone came together to talk about what it was like when they first got the script, why they decided to come on board, the endless fun they had off camera, the iconic fashion looks, and the joy of watching everyone be entertained. Daniel Craig said when he read the script, it was "laugh out loud" funny, which made it a no-brainer for him to sign on to play his famous detective once again. Janelle Monáe said she was blown away that they even had a role for her and said yes before seeing the script, but once she got her hands on it, she was blown away. Kate Hudson talks about how brilliant Rian Johnson is as a writer and how many layers (pun intended) there are in this film. Hudson said after you watch it the first time and have fun, you should go back and watch it again to see what is being discussed and talked about because there is a lot of depth in the writing. Edward Norton said the most enjoyment he got from doing this film was that the specific topics that Johnson decided to push a bit were perfect for the moment and made it more than just a mystery. Ty Doran, best known as "adult" Cal on Netflix's fan-favorite Manifest, visited to talk about ALL of the things. We start off discussing how Doran got the role on the show and his preparation. Doran mentions that he watched some of Jack Messina's work (the younger version of Cal for the first few seasons) to try to match his movements and get the "essence" of Cal. Doran then discusses some of the most challenging scenes he had to film, the fun and hijinks that happen off-camera, and the love the cast has for one another. We talk about everything from his most challenging moment to film to his favorite scene so far to shoot. Doran is so easy to talk to; we end up ranting off-topic about documentaries we recently watched and songs we listened to (I even pull up a song he talks about during the interview and plays it on my phone), which leads to us talking playlists and inspirations. When we get back on track, we go into that finale episode of Manifest's part one and break down everything from start to finish, including those last few seconds. We pressed Doran for some teasers heading into the final 10 episodes of the series, and he had some exciting things to say about what we can expect. Doran is relaxed, fun, interesting, and super engaging. Within minutes it's hard to not want to be his best friend and hang out with him daily. We spoke to the cast of Spoiler Alert, which is based on the memoir "Spoiler Alert: The Hero Dies" by writer and journalist Michael Ausiello. We spoke to Ben Aldridge, who plays Kit Cowan, about what it was like embodying his character, working with Jim Parsons, and the importance of using Ausiello's material as a backing. Meanwhile, Parsons and Auisello spoke about why they wanted to work together, their long history, the spiritual aspect of the film, and how Ausiello knew that Parson was the actor he wanted to depict him. Beatrice Brigitte gave us an exclusive interview to discuss anything including her top secret movie, Mindwash. So we started from the beginning and spoke about how she got into this industry, how acting led to directing and eventually to her latest film Mindwash. We spoke about her amazing production company, The Arcane Company, and why it means so much to Brigitte to produce quality material, and how her film is her baby. Basically, we went into all the things. -- So speaking of quality let's talk Mindwash. While we dance around specifics, we are the only on-camera interview Brigitte did about the movie. Thus, we are the only ones that could try to squeeze some information out about this highly anticipated film. Again, I couldn't mention specific scenes but, you will hear me struggle as this movie sticks in your mind and causes so many questions (yes it is a Mindwash, pun intended) -- Brigitte spent extra time answering all my questions (the best she could). We laughed together, bonded, and found ourselves rooting for one another as the interview went on. She is a beautiful person inside and out -- literally dangling on a cliff about to fall into the abyss of success. All I asked of her from this interview was, when she wins an Oscar, that she thanks me in her speech. Holly Taylor plays Angelina on Netflix's fan-favorite Manifest. This season has been a crazy one for Angelina, especially those last few moments of the part one finale --with only ten episodes left (set to be released next year), Taylor talks about how she ended up on Manifest, how she views Angelina, the reason behind some of the decisions her character makes, and what's going to happen now, THAT thing, is in her hand. Additionally, Taylor discusses why she doesn't necessarily view Angelina as a villain but agrees she makes questionable choices. Taylor said it was fun getting to play her, and she seems to lean toward characters that stretch her as an actor. Taylor said there are so many things she will miss about being on Manifest and also spent time thanking the fans for giving them 20 episodes to wrap up this story in a way that she hopes everyone will be happy with. Taylor was sweet to talk to and spent extra time with us to go over details from episodes, talk about favorite memories on set, and even tell some stories about her cast mates. She has this sunshine quality about her that makes you feel like you have known her forever. It was a pleasure, and we look forward to what she will bring in those final episodes.

Adam Pally (Happy Endings, The Mindy Project) latest comedic role is in the charming but hilarious, Who Invited Charlie. Pally plays Charlie, a down-and-out, comfortably clothed guy that bumps into his college roommate in a weird (could only happen in NYC) way. After seeing his friend, who drops his wallet in a scuffle, COVID hits. Charlie has the idea to follow his friend (without an invitation) to his lovely Hamptons house, where they are all seeking refuge from the pandemic. As you can imagine, chaos ensues. While COVID is a topic in the film, it is not its focus. This movie focuses on relationships, whether they be platonic or romantic. At the core, this movie shows you that all is not what it seems, and no matter how lost you feel, there is always hope -- it's also laugh-out-loud funny. Pally talks about what drew him into playing the character, some of his favorite moments on set, and how proud he is to be a part of this project. This is a must-see film. In addition to this fantastic movie, Pally has joined forces with a friend of over 25 years, Jon Gabrus, in a series called 101 Places to Party Before You Die. This reality show takes the two best friends and brings them to the most random towns for 72 hours to see, eat, drink, smoke, and do anything else they can while they are there. Gabrus and Pally have such easy chemistry, each episode makes you feel like you are traveling with them. You want to go where they go and eat where they eat. Fans have done just that. Everyone is campaigning for a season two because, let's face it, we all want to hang out with them.

Manifest star, Ellen Tamaki, takes us back to the beginning in this exclusive interview about her role on the show. Tamaki spoke about her original audition process and what happened when she found out she got the part of Drea. Now, as she reflects on that moment, she realizes how much Manifest has changed her life. She gets emotional when discussing what the show has done for her as a person, an actor, and for her family. Tamaki is honest with her answers as she sits with a big beaming smile and relives some of her favorite moments in front of and off camera with one of the closest crews on television. Tamaki also reiterates the importance of representation and why being able to play an essential role in a highly successful show is paving the way, little by little (something she hopes she will continue to be able to do). We also discuss what she will miss the most about her cast mates -- including a story of her sitting on her trailer floor eating while yelling at Melissa (that was how they spent time talking when they couldn't see each other). All in all, Tamaki is a person who cares about the work. When I asked how Drea plays into those final ten episodes set to air next year, she couldn't say much but did reveal some things to come. Jonathan Bennett's latest role will be in Hallmark's The Holiday Sitter. The adorable romantic comedy has Bennett playing Sam, someone that isn't too fond of kids and gets stuck taking care of his sister's children for the holidays. However, little does he know that Jason (George Krissa), a lover of children, will cross his path to make one of the sweetest, funniest holiday movies of the year. Bennett, credited for the story, said it was essential to make sure all of the comedic moments landed. While Bennett includes everything we love about holiday movies, he goes out of his way to ensure this one stands out from the pack. It's funny from the second it starts to the second it ends. It has those moments where you sigh with the beautiful cinematography used to get you into the holiday spirit and those moments of romance that flicker between Sam and Jason. Bennett is a star- an original, one-of-a-kind person who is so loving and sweet that you forget you are speaking to a superstar. His earnestness, transparency, honesty, and resistance are something to be admired. Bennett talks about his favorite scenes, the romantic spark between Sam and Jason, his favorite comedic moment, and how great it has been working with Hallmark. Branden Cook, who plays Evan on Hulu's hit, Tell Me Lies, took time out to help break down all of the crazy plot twists and turns the season takes, including the season finale. We discussed what it was like being cast, how he prepared for the role of Evan, what it was like filming THAT scene in the finale, and where we go from here. We spoke to Cook before the renewal announcement, which allowed us to speak freely about what we hope for the characters moving forward, specifically Evan. We went down the rabbit hole with a ton of ideas and theories. We spoke about specific looks, small details added in the finale, and of course why his character doesn't like sheets. Cook beams with confidence and a smile as he talks about the show and how much it has changed his life. You can feel the excitement in his voice and his love for the character he plays. Even after we stopped recording, we continued talking about ideas for season two and kept our fingers crossed for an announcement. We couldn't be happier that it came, and we will see more of this crazy group and more of Evan.

Colin Donnell (best known from Arrow, Chicago Med) has returned to the small screen one again in Peacock's latest hit, Irreverent. Donnell starts as Paulo, who we meet in the middle of an exchange. This James Bond-like moment gets ruined and, through the chaos, leaves Paulo stuck fending for himself in a small town in the middle of nowhere. Donnell said it was so much fun playing Paulo and breaking down who he is as a character, adding that he had to balance out the action with the comedy. Donnell credits many of his co-stars and the writers behind the show, saying their talent makes him look good. Donnell is joined by a slew of known actors and first-timers, including P.J. Byrne, Wayne Blair, Kylie Bracknell, Tegan Stimson, and Calen Tassone (to name a few). Donnell said he hopes fans stick around because everyone in this town has a secret.

Justin Hartley, executive producer/star, and director/writer Charles Shyer said they both wanted to make sure that their latest film, The Noel Diary, would tug at your heartstrings and get you into the holiday spirit -- without falling under the typical holiday tropes. Hartley plays Jake Turner, an author who has to return home after the passing of his mother. However, this movie goes beyond the typical boy meets girl -- to tell a story of compassion that crosses over generations. Shyer said it's a tightrope in trying to do a movie a little different than the ones that came before, adding that it's an emotional story but that the biggest challenge is making sure it's a fresh story that stays away from being too sappy or corny. Shyer credits the cast for the ability of everyone to keep this story grounded. Hartley said he enjoyed playing this character, who has convinced himself that he enjoys being alone and isn't living a lonely life when he is a flawed character with much more depth. While successful, Jake seems to deflect a lot, and as the movie continues, we learn more about his life and why we meet him at a pivotal time. Both Hartley and Shyer said they can not wait for people to see the movie and look at the work the cast and crew have done to make this movie stand out from others before it. It's a different movie that hits all the right notes to get you into the holiday spirit.

Matt Barr has to be easily one of the nicest people I have ever interviewed. Barr was easy to talk to, engaging, excited, and was like a ray of sunshine on the screen. He bursts with energy when he talks about his characters, bringing them to life in his stories. We began one of his beloved but short-lived characters on One Tree Hill, to my obsession with Valor (I still think it should have gotten renewed), and then finally to one of the best cowboys of all time Hoyt Rawlins. Barr said there is nothing better than playing a cowboy and seeing the changes that have slowly begun happening to Hoyt as the season progresses. We talk about how open he is on camera, his honesty, and why we all love him. He answered everything from the picture that broke the internet to if he knew he was going from Walker to Walker: Independence. He was as charming as ever -- which makes sense because his acting falls nothing shy of perfection.

We interviewed the cast of Tulsa King (Taylor Sheridan's latest project adding to his growing list of hits) which brings to the small screen the legend, Sylvester Stallone, who plays "The General" that has spent over two decades in prison and comes out with an agenda. Rounding out the cast includes Andrea Savage, Garrett Hedlund, Jay Will, Dana Delany, Max Casella, Vince Piazza, and A.C. Peterson. Hedlund and Will both said they bonded while filming on set, but the atmophere is what made them family. They both gave credit to Stallone for setting the tone on set which trickled down to everyone else. Meanwhile, Delany and Casella whose characters work on a ranch said it was hard work. However, both were spared from Sheridan's "boot camp" that he is famous for. Delany and Casella said they loved working with the horses, but there were a few mishaps on set.

We were at the premiere of Ticket to Paradise, a film about a divorced couple doing whatever they can to prevent their daughter from getting married, which of course, leads to a lot of shenanigans and chaos. This romantic comedy brings together a fantastic cast, including George Clooney, Julia Roberts, Kaitlyn Dever, Billie Lourd, and Ol Parker. All were at the premiere to celebrate, including both Clooney and Roberts, who were all laughs and jokes during our interview. Clooney said they are just an old couple of exes who are mad at each other, while Roberts admitted the two couldn't seem to give a straight answer. However, things got sentimental when the two discussed what it's like working together and their immense love for each other. Dever, Lourd, and Parker all mention the massive impact of working with Roberts and Clooney -- and what they hope fans take away from the film.

Melissa Roxburgh says she was so surprised when she got the call that Netflix was picking up Manifest for a final season to complete the story. Roxburgh added this show is a love letter from the cast of Manifest to all of the Manifesters who stuck by the show and never gave up, the ones who rewatched episodes, and wrote in letters. She said everyone's voice matters and in this instance it added life into a once cancelled show. When asked if we would see beyond the death date, Melissa confirmed we would, adding that the second part of the season (set to come out next year) gets even more intense. In the meantime, Roxburgh said she would miss being able to knock on Josh Dallas's (who plays Ben Stone, her brother on the series) trailer door, the shenanigans of the cast and crew, and filming every day. But for now, she said she couldn't be happier for fans to take this final flight with them.

Adam DiMarco plays Albie Di Grasso, a recent college graduate, in the newest season of The White Lotus. DiMarco, who has been acting for years, said he is still shocked that he got the role. DiMarco said once the shock wore off, he was curious to find out who would be playing his family. When he learned he would be working side-by-side with F. Murray Abraham (who is playing his grandfather) and Michael Imperioli (who is playing his dad), he said he started to get nervous. Abraham and Imperioli are legends in the industry, and DiMarco knew he wanted to work with them and learn from them. DiMarco said it was easy as they all began to get to know each other on set while working in Sicily. DiMarco also talks about working with Hayley Lu Richardson (who plays an unrequited love interest/friend he meets while on vacation) and the very intimate sex scenes that were required of him for the season. With only a few episodes out for everyone to watch, DiMarco said he is excited for fans' reactions as the season continues.

From Hulu's hit show, Tell Me Lies, Jackson White returned to the podcast to discuss all things Stephen. Whether we love him or love to hate him -- Stephen is arguably one of the most talked about characters from any television show in the past year. Jackson gave us insight into what he was thinking, why he thinks Stephen uses the art of persuasion, and if he thinks Stephen is genuinely in love with Lucy. We also discuss "that" slow-motion scene with Diana -- along with an analysis of those last few seconds before the credits roll. Jackson is so good at playing Stephen that there are times when I even interchanged their names!
Jackson is a master at his craft, and it truly shines in this show. There has never been an actor that can play someone so ambiguous that no one (not even Jackson) knows what he will do next. Jackson has mastered the art form so well that even the best predictors of shows are still shaken by the finale; Jackson White is one of a kind and has accomplished something no actor has done before offering up no clues or even hints at his character's next move. The ability to play this while creating a fully dimensional character is a skill few actors possess. We hope Hulu renews the show for a season two to find out what happened since we left this crew (both in college and now). However, one thing we both agree on... there is a lot more story to tell between Lucy and Stephen.

Katherine McNamara, plays Abby Walker, on The CW's new hit prequel, Walker: Independence. The prequel was announced after Walker (starring Jared Padalecki) became an instant success. McNamara who is no stranger to playing a bad ass, plays Abby Walker, a survivor who is determined to keep moving forward after her husband gets murdered in front of her eyes. Causeway had its red carpet premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival, with all of the cast stopping by to discuss how proud they were to have the film debut at the festival, how emotionally moved they were to complete the project, and what it was like working together. We spoke with Jennifer Lawrence, Brian Tyree Henry, Diego Garcia, Elizabeth Sanders, and Linda Edmon. Lawrence said she had plans of taking time off, but when she saw this script, she knew she had to be a part of it. She adds that everyone who sees this movie will be touched in some way. Eric Petersen, star of the dark comedy Kevin Can F**K Himself, came on to discuss how he has been able to make Kevin a character we all love to hate and hate to love. Peterson said it was a balance for him, ensuring that he always kept Kevin in the over-the-top world of the multi-camera sitcom (where he makes horrible comments) -- yet keeping it satirical and funny. Petersen said that while he would never make these comments in real life, it was important for the audience to feel somewhat connected to his character. He also spoke about what it was like seeing other characters evolve over the two seasons while working to keep Kevin relatively status quo. Petersen does a great job explaining Kevin's psyche and acknowledges the nuances and cracks that begin to show as the series ends. So, of course, we had to ask him... will we ever see Kevin in the real world? You will have to listen to find out.

The cast of the new film, The Fabelmans met on the red carpet at the Toronto International Film Festival to host their world premiere of this auto-biographical movie. J.J. Perry stepped up to the plate to direct his first feature film, Day Shift, for Netflix. Perry said he was excited about the challenge and worked hard to make sure that there was a good balance between comedy and action. While Perry gives a lot of credit to the actors that came on board to film the movie, it's clear that Perry found his comfort spot in the director's chair -- as he talks about some behind-the-scenes stories, how he filmed that car scene, and even why the vampires look a little different.
Perry started his martial arts training in 1975 and began with stunt work in the late 1980s when he got out of the army. He has had over 24 years of martial arts training and has a 5th-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, a 2nd-degree in Hapkido, and experience with all kinds of weapons. He got his black belt for Tae Kwon Do at the age of 12 and competed from the age of 7 to 24. Besides martial arts, J.J. is also skilled in riding bikes and rodeo and does weight lifting. Perry has also spent years in the industry working as a second director in addition to his stunt work.

We were at the LA premiere of Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight premiere to speak to the cast about what fans can expect now that they get to see the characters live in an episodic world versus a one-time film. Max Greenfield, Betsy Brandt, Eugenio Derbez, and director Richard Wong sat down to discuss Hulu's new romantic comedy, The Valet. It is a remake of the French film The Valet (2006) by Francis Veber. Greenfield and Brandt (who play husband and wife in the movie) discuss how more money brings more problems and the importance of getting the comedic timing right while bringing their characters to life. While Derbez discusses the importance of being seen, tackling touch material, and having a voice. Wong, who steered this ship, said that making this film was very important for a multitude of reasons, including seeing immigrants in starring roles.

Natasha Calis spoke with Silence on Set about how being on SkyMed was a very different filming experience for her. Not only did Calis have to learn medical training (some of which she picked up from prior jobs), but then she had to immerse herself into what her character Hayley goes through from the second she walks into the ring as a medical professional all the way through her transformation towards the end of the season. Calis discusses the importance of strong women, chemistry with her co-stars, and respecting the Indigenous communities -- all while shining a light on the unrepresented. Praneet Akilla, who plays Chopper on SkyMed, came by to talk about those crazy cliffhangers from season one. While I was manifesting a renewal for season two, Akilla reflected on why he thinks there is a little bit of Chopper in everyone and how much he appreciates what the show has done to highlight the need for resources for first responders (specifically those that work in the air in remote conditions), but also the importance of showing love to the land and the native people living there. Kai Bradbury. Most recently known for Freeform’s “Motherland: Fort Salem,” Kai has joined as series regular ‘Denny Cutler’ in the highly-anticipated fourth season of the Netflix Original Series “Virgin River” (July 20, 2022). Denny is a 19-year-old Seattle native, the long-lost grandson of the beloved character Doc Mullins played by Tim Matheson ("The West Wing"). Denny comes to Virgin River to forge a connection with the grandfather he just recently found out he had, but he comes bearing a dark secret.
Kai kicked off his career in Amazon’s “The Man in the High Castle” and went on to play ‘Glenn Stevens,’ in Lifetime’s “Menendez: Blood Brothers" following with TLC’s “Untold Stories of the ER.” He went on to work on Netflix’s “Altered Carbon” opposite Joel Kinnaman (“Suicide Squad”) where he plays ‘Tadao,’ a 300-year-old businessman inside a younger man’s body. He also appears in The CW’s “Supernatural” as well as Amazon’s hit series “The Boys,” playing the little brother of Karen Fukuhara’s (“Suicide Squad”) character, Kimiko.
Kai can also be seen in the new Netflix series “The Imperfects.” While details about his character remain a mystery, he can be seen in the trailer below. Premiere date is TBD.

Shila Ommi is an American actress, director, writer and producer who was born in Tehran, Iran, and grew up in Los Angeles.
She has directed and produced award winning plays in Los Angeles, and for over a decade she toured internationally under the name Shila Vosough in an Iranian-American theater production company performing plays in Persian.
Shila directed the feature film, 'Wake Up Sleeping Beauty', a psychological dramatic film about a young Iranian-American woman waking up from cultural trappings and 'curses,' and coming into her own power. It was produced by the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health.
A graduate of UCLA, Ommi received a Departmental Honors for a 'Bachelor of Science in Biological Anthropology' minoring in Biology, where she wrote a published thesis on 'Parental Investment Among Vervet Monkeys.' She later attended the Ruskin School of Acting where she studied under the tutelage of John Ruskin and Sir Anthony Hopkins.
In addition to emceeing charities, hosting award shows, moderating and occasionally performing stand-up comedy, Ommi is also a prolific voice-over artist narrating documentaries and voicing characters in animated TV and web series.
Harry Hamlin has has a legendary career appearing in over 90 different projects. One of the most recent is Mr. Winfield from Lifetime's new original limited series, Flowers in the Attic: The Origin. Hamlin who is no stranger to hard work is proud of his character but is family focused constantly talking about the love of his family and daughters. Hamlin touched on his company which is working on creating electricity without hurting the environment, his new projects Anne Rice's Mayfair Witches and Unsinkable. While Hamlin has been seen on Bravo's reality show, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills he remains untouchable to the unfounded rumors and said that he would pass along that famous sauce recipe over to us. One thing was clear from speaking to Hamlin he loves his work, he loves his daughters, but his one true love is that of his wife, Lisa Rinna.

Harry Robinson Hamlin is an American actor of stage, television and films. He was born in 1951, in Pasadena, California, to Berniece (Robinson), a socialite, and Chauncey Jerome Hamlin, Jr., an aeronautical engineer. He graduated from Yale University in 1974 with degrees in Drama and Psychology and was later awarded a Master of Fine Arts in acting from The American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco. Though awarded an ITT-Fullbright scholarship in acting in 1977 he opted instead to make his feature film debut in Stanley Donen's comedy spoof "Movie Movie" opposite George C. Scott for which he received his first Golden Globe nomination. Best known for his roles a Perseus in "Clash of the Titans" with Lawrence Olivier and Michael Kusac in the Emmy winning TV series "LA Law", he is the son of Chauncey Jerome Hamlin Jr. who helped design the Saturn V rocket with Dr.Wernher Von Braun at Rocketdyne and North American Aviation. He is the grandson of Chauncey Jerome Hamlin who founded the Buffalo Museum of Science in Buffalo, New York. Chauncey Hamlin was also a president of the American Association of Museums and created the International Council of Museums.

Since graduating with a BA in Acting from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland she also trained with the Groundlings Improv School in Los Angeles. She has worked extensively across the UK as an actor and has directed internationally award-winning theatre.

In 2022 it was announced that Joanne had been cast as the new recurring character Amy McCallum in Season 6 of OUTLANDER with Sony/Starz. She also recently played DS Lisa Harvey in BBC One drama THE VICTIM which was nominated for a BAFTA and her performance in ITV’s BAFTA-nominated In Plain Sight won her 2 Best Actress nominations at the IARA awards. In 2019, she starred in BBC’s prime-time drama THE SUFFRAGETTES which won a BAFTA that same year.

Julian Payne is the Principal Designer at Mattel, working in the Hot Wheels Advanced Play team. He is responsible for concepting and developing innovation platforms including Radio Control. Julian designed Hot Wheels diecast in the UK before relocating to the USA in 2000. There he worked in the NJ Matchbox office on playsets and then El Segundo head office on feature innovation.
Julian previously worked for NAD Associates – a design consultancy in London. While there, he was project manager and lead designer. He developed the design language which continues today in the Wow Toy line of preschool toys.

Writer-director Terence Davies was last at the Festival with the Emily Dickenson biopic A Quiet Passion. A companion to its predecessor, Davies’ latest is a sumptuous portrait of 20th-century English poet Siegfried Sassoon, and the first time the filmmaker has explicitly portrayed love and desire between men.
Benediction’s form is a lyrical stream of consciousness, following associations of memory rather than chronology. Davies crafts Sassoon’s experience of the First World War in layers of heroism (he was decorated for bravery on the Western Front), loss, and unfathomable trauma.
