In this fourth episode, Georgina Marie talks time and poetics with Bay Area Poets K.R. Morrison and Paul Corman-Roberts.

K.R. Morrison is a Bay Area writer, drummer, and high school teacher who these days, splits her time between SF and a place she calls Mermaidtown. There, she writes new poems, summons sirens, and recently finished and published her first chapbook “Cauldrons,” thanks to PaperPress Books. You may be familiar with her work featured in The Bloom for three weeks in July.

Paul Corman-Roberts is exhausted. His new full-length collection of poems BONE MOON PALACE (Nomadic Press, 2021) is his first book in six years. In that time, he has been hired five times, fired three times, organized four festivals and working on a fifth, gave away his drum kit, and started a new press.

In the third episode, Georgina Marie talks poetry and vulnerability with Vallejo Poet Laureate Jeremy Snyder.

Jeremy Snyder is a 46-year-old man from Vallejo, California who became the Poet Laureate of Vallejo in January of 2020. He has been writing most of his life and is the host of Poetry By the Bay, one of the longest-running poetry shows in the bay area (over a decade and currently on Zoom every Thursday at 9 p.m. https://us02web.zoom.us/j/81888607048).

He has hosted various slam events and holds a monthly creative writing group at JFK library called Poetry In Notion (pre/post-pandemic). Jeremy loves to foster the art of creative writing in other people and its ability to be a cathartic act of self-realization. Jeremy is currently working to publish his first book of poetry, "Letters to dead poets", which he hopes to finish soon.
