As a relatively "un-athletic" person, Kalani has no clue why anyone would sit in the ocean for so long just to ride a 30 second wave.

Also on today's episode, part 2 of our interview with Musician Nicky Bomba. In this discussion, we touch on Kynan's surfing point and Nicky expands upon it by explaining his connection with the Earth's energy and how a simple walk through nature can do wonders for the brain.

On this week's episode of the EnRusk we speak with Kam Chohan.
Kam is the Executive Director at ECIS, and in this interview we discuss a number of topics including the vision for ECIS, what it's like for women in positions of leadership, and the current state of our education system, both in Europe and across the world.
EnRusk recently partnered with ECIS to bring schools a number of different services, and as part of that we're excited to announce an upcoming Leadership Retreat taking place in December.
"Leaders will walk away from this retreat, understanding how to lead with empathy and drive successful and strategic innovation within their school environment. Through immersion in the design thinking approach, participants will develop a working understanding of DT and its application in a leadership context. Finally, participants will be equipped with tools and processes to apply and lead Design Thinking back into their school contexts."

Kynan and Steve chatted at length, on a number of insightful topics, including, education, being a male in todays society, basketball, death and grief. Steve is at late stages of completing a book writing about coping with grief and his own experiences, having tragically lost his brother 15 years ago.
This interview coincides with the recent news that Kynan's childhood friend Bradd Dwyer sadly passed away in his sleep. This conversation is raw, personal and speaks to us all.

This week we chat with an Englishman, living in Austria, James Wren.
Over the last 6 months, we have had the pleasure of getting to know James through our work and partnership with ECIS. James' role at ECIS sees him handling Design and Communications. It's been wonderful to work with him in that role, his insights and thinking around design and communications would be enough to make a fascinating podcast, but as we got to know him we discovered so much more. I guess one could describe him as an onion - there are layers, and he can make you cry,... with joy.
Having started his career as a Teacher of Communication Design and Media Studies, James has accumulated a rich background in education and developed a unique approach to teaching creatively which he outlines in his book; "People, Pens & Paper: Generating fresh and creative solutions to benefit our world".
We had an absolute blast having James on the podcast, discussing a wide range of topics from Education, EnRusk's partnership with ECIS to what's it's like being a graphic designer in today's and even an odd Michael Caine impression or two.
We loved making this episode for you. It really speaks to how we see the world. Hopefully, it is inspiring and challenges you in some way. It will defiantly put a smile on your face.

In the simplest of terms, Holly-Anne is an artist, but within 5 seconds of hearing her speak, you'll realize she's so my more. Going by the mantle of "Collagism", Holly-Anne has had shows in countless different countries and specializes in a wide variety of mediums, collage being her favorite (hence the name).
We spoke at length with Holly-Anne on a number of different topics, ranging from how she got her start, working with kids teaching them life skills through collage, right up to what it's like being an artist during the current Covid pandemic.

On this week's episode, we talk with Tim Harrington. Tim has been involved in the Australian elite sports industry for over 30 years now. Starting his career as a player for the AFL, he quickly moved to an Assistant Coach position. He now works for the AFL players association, an organization that helps football players during their careers but also helps them once their careers are over.

Earlier this month we announced the launch of the Advisory Brochure in association with our partners at ECIS. As part of that work we’ve teamed up with Chad Learncollab to provide a number of offerings around the concept of what he calls “The Entrepreneurial School”.
As Chad puts it “The Entrepreneurial school is a school that is going to be custom refocused. They’re gonna be more in touch with the needs of the community”
Chad has worked for years in the educational space and brings with him an array of interesting insights, many of which we talk about on the podcast.
