Our guest, Karina Stafford is the founder of Catalyst Tea Company, a Las Vegas-based start-up dedicated to helping people enjoy the benefits of mixing and brewing loose-leaf herbal teas. Growing up in the Russian countryside, Karina was always close to nature. Karina became a certified herbalist through the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia and launched her first products in 2019. Today, her brand Catalyst Tea Company offers a range of pure, organic herbs and teas, several curated blends, infusers, and the company’s flagship product: themed herbal tea blending kits, which allow people to create their own teas and herbal infusions from scratch. Karina also organizes regular tea blending workshops and classes in Las Vegas. Karina holds a Master’s Degree in financial journalism from the City University of London and worked as a food & drink industry analyst for a market research company in the UK prior to moving to Las Vegas in 2018.

Puerto Rican Picasso - Episode 6
Today we have a blast from the past. Our guest, Limaris Burgos-Moye (Lilee) is an old elementary and middle school classmate of mine. She is a Puerto Rican self-taught artist originally from Bridgeport Connecticut. Currently, Lilee resides in Waterbury, Connecticut, and makes a living creating symbolic paintings and drawings that evoke feelings of sensuality, love, unity, hope, fertility, and eternity. She is also an indie designer and has worked with SHEIN, launching her first collection in June of 2021. Lilee recently resigned from her leadership role in higher education to focus on her art career full-time. Despite the risk, Lilee is excited for this new entrepreneurial venture.

In honor of International Women’s Day, we have a very special guest. Erica Zaldivar is a licensed marriage and family therapist. She is also a bereaved mother, she has a passion for helping people heal from trauma and create meaningful lives. Her own life was completely shaken in March of 2021 when her first and only daughter died at 13 days old in the NICU after a birth injury. Erica has since spent her free time writing and connecting with other bereaved parents on her Instagram page @travelingwithgrief Erica hopes speaking about her story helps to reduce the stigma around baby loss and grief, in honor of her infant daughter Verity Aurora. Erica lives in Las Vegas, NV with her husband and their two dogs, Summit and Everest.

Now she spends her time training for running races and improv. Stef discusses how she believes athletic training is about 70% mental, why being a lawyer wasn't for her, and where she wants Frankly Good Coffee to go in the future.

Isami is a mental health advocate who lives with PTSD from childhood trauma. From growing up in an abusive upbringing, Isami suffered from severe depression. Now estranged from her parents, she is dedicating her life to helping others specifically with religious trauma.
