Does the Sabbath even apply to us today? Yes. It does. In this day and age, hustle culture seems to tower over any time off, let alone viewing the Sabbath. But now more than ever, it is so important for us as Christians, but also just humans in general, to be spending that intentional time recharging physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
Sometimes, you truly can't make a situation different. The outcome will just result negatively, and there's nothing you can do. But wait, there is! You can change your RESPONSE. Today we dive into our response to negative outcomes, faith in the valley, and what the proper response is in tough times.
As humans, we have trouble separating our passions from our purpose. When the two intertwine, it can cause us to lose our identity and worth in what we believe is supposed to fulfill us. In reality, only God can fulfill us. Join me as we talk about the story of David, a shepherd who became a king and learn what it means to be a servant.

Identity as we know it can be the most difficult thing in this life for us to grasp onto. Sometimes it takes us our entire lives before we can truly discover who we are without everything and everyone around us trying to tell us differently. Navigating this life can be hard, but you don't have to do it alone. God specifically addresses this in the Bible multiple times and loves us so much that all we have to do is rely on Him.
