When Mercury goes retrograde, communication often gets scrambled and things feel a little haywire. Plans don’t go as planned, we are hit with miscommunications and just an overall feeling of resistance when it comes to our external environments. It’s natural to feel little panicked. But what if you flip the script here and instead of feeling oppressed by this planetary weather, you allow yourself to flow with it and work with the energies to turn inwards and get super clear about what’s working in your life, and what’s no longer serving you? Where have you over committed yourself? What requires closure in your life? How can you be more intentional and deliberate with your words and your actions, knowing that what you say, think and do today puts into motion that which creates your future? I ask all these questions and more in this introspective episode of The Intuitive Vibrance Podcast.

This was such a fun conversation with my astrologer and fellow Projector, Carol-Anne Besler. We sat down and chatted all things astrology, Human Design, what it’s like being a Projector, and what Gemini in Jupiter has in store for us individually and as a collective. Carol-Anne shares her insights on difficult astrological placements and transits, how they help us to mature and evolve, and we go into some of the more challenging aspects of my own chart. She reflects on a few dark nights of the soul throughout her life and tells a charming story about how astrology came into her life 14 years ago. We also get into detoxification, lymphatic drainage, and how we all need to take responsibility for regulating our nervous systems so that we can face our collective challenges and evolve our collective consciousness. Today we are doing a deep dive into the Human Design Authorities and why connecting with and trusting your own Authority and intuition is the key to living an aligned and authentic life. I go into the importance of first following your Strategy and then your Authority, how Authority and aligned decision making does not come from the mind, what it looks like when you make decisions from your Not-Self (aka your shadow), what happens when you outsource your Authority to someone else, and how to navigate making and keeping commitments, especially when you are a non-sacral. I do a deep dive into each Human Design Authority, and I get real about a decision I made from my Not-Self that locked me into a bad situation a couple of years ago. Today is the first day of Gemini season, and I have so much to share! I just spent the last two weeks in a very cocooned, introspective state- connecting more deeply with my inner child, clearing more wounding and conditioning, and learning more about myself, my dharma and my spiritual gifts. And I’m sharing much of it with you in this podcast episode. I talk about my journey of learning how to LOVE spending time with myself, why it’s so important to spend time alone with yourself in contemplation, how each of us has spiritual gifts (even if you don’t think that you do!), and how my very painful breakup from early 2022 taught me how to truly love myself. I share some Human Design insights about my 6th line/3rd process after getting divorced, I touch on the topic of deconditioning, and I explore the idea that YOU are the most interesting thing in your own life! Welcome back!
