Are you considering the addition of a podcast to your content marketing strategy? A podcast can be a great way to connect with your audience in a different way that can, for some audiences, be a much more convenient way to consume content. It can also help to increase leads and engagement in a way that’s often easier to create with a relatively low barrier to entry.

In this episode of the podcast, we’ll go through some of the reasons why adding a podcast to your content marketing strategy is a smart marketing decision for your business.

What you’ll discover:

  • Why audiences connect and engage with podcasts
  • How a podcast can help your website’s SEO and bring in new leads

“What studio do you use to record your podcast?”

When I lived in LA, that was a common question I received when I told someone I had a podcast. Most were surprised when I said, “Uh...my bedroom?”

The truth is, you don’t need expensive equipment or a fancy studio to get started with your podcast. In fact, to this day I still record episodes in my bedroom (though I did upgrade some equipment).

So as you start planning out your podcast, just know that you don’t have to break the bank to begin. You can actually start for free (yes, for free) and work your way up as you grow your audience, expand your budget, and invest more into your production.

In this episode, I let you know the tools you need to get started and what you can hold off on for the time being.

What you’ll discover:

  • The key tools to starting your podcast
  • The tools that can wait until your podcast is further along
  • My number one podcasting tool
