The Covenant of Blessings and Prosperity by Ptr. Tom Molina

Matthew 6:25

If God has already established a covenant of blessing and prosperity, why do we still live like we are lacking?

God has already made His covenant clear. The question is: Have you entered into agreement with Him?• We misrepresent God to others because of our ignorance of the covenant.• The problem is not God’s faithfulness — it’s often our lack of knowledge, obedience, and trust (Hosea 4:6).• You can only believe God for what you know; faith never rises above your understanding of God’s will.• Are you still trying to propose your own plans to God instead of living by His already established promises?

A covenant is a binding agreement between two parties—God and man — established for redemption and restoration.• It existed before any problem came; God had already provided a solution before the need arose (Matthew 6:25).
• The covenant was given first to the Jews, now extended to the Church through grace.• Through Jesus, we have entered the New Covenant sealed by His blood—a covenant of provision, protection, and purpose.

Nothing Can Separate Us From The Love Of God by Ptr. Tom Molina

Romans 8: 34-39

If nothing can separate us from the love of God, why would you expect your love for the Lord to grow cold?

WHO shall separate us from the love of God?

A question that heaven cannot answer for you, but you alone.

• Our separation from the love of God will be determined by a person. Obviously not the devil, no other person, but you.

• Only you can defeat yourself by not believing who you are, by not believing what God says, and by not doing the Word of God says you can do. No one to be blamed, because your life is not in anyone's hands. Your life is up to your own decision.

• God holds our life, but if we go out of His will our life will be at our own decision, our own determination, own pursuits.

• Psalm 91

• Even we separate ourselves from God, His hands are always

ready to protect us—a loving hand of a loving God.

• We can only expect nothing that can separate us from the

love of God when we align our hearts to God.

LOVE OF GOD by Ptr. Elma Molina

There is no powerful word than LOVE. But we don’t look for LOVE. Only the LOVE of God can satisfy us.

The Love of the Father God:

Never reprimands, but cares, embraces us, accepts, and protects us.

  • God is not worthy to be blamed like the parents.

  • The Bible says, “True love disciplines, corrects, instructs,

rebukes” for God designs us life to enjoy.

Heavenly culture—- the culture that we have. It is the culture of the

kingdom of God. → Culture of LOVE → the greatest culture.

  • Does not break God’s culture.

  • Does not pollute the culture of God.

Parents-children:

  • God’s love cares and protects but not to the point of spoiling the

children. We do it God’s way.

  • Parents take heed! Parents pay attention!

  • Counsel your children based on the Word of God.

  • Understand and experience the true love of God and overflow it

to your children.

THE HEAVENLY FATHER’S LOVE

How much of the Father’s love is given to us?

The reason why we hardly understand the heavenly love of the Father is because the earthly love of our earthly father has brought us nothing but hurt and pain.

We don’t have many physical and spiritual fathers, but many mentors, teachers, disciplers, and leaders. There is only One God, one Heavenly Father.

1 John 3:1 TPT

Look with wonder at the depth of the Father's marvelous love that He has lavished on us! He has called us and made us His very own beloved children. The reason the world doesn't recognize who we are is that they didn't recognize Him.

Scriptures: Mark 16: 15-16; Matthew 28: 18-19

Vision comes from God, and this vision does not change.

As a church, there must not have multiple visions independent from the church’s vision.

Vision is when somebody reads it, they will be able to run with it.

VISION.

Why is it necessary for us to have a vision?

Depending on the vision that you have. But visions can be

self-serving. It matters where it came from and what does it bring forth.

Proverbs 29:18 KJV.Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.

Law of the FIRST. — Genesis 4:3-5

2 Firsts:

  1. First Born

  2. Frist Fruits

Law of Moses.

  • It denotes that we make Jesus our first. Recognize Jesus as the most

important Person in our life.

  • life is full of choices and one mistake can lead us to unsafe

situations. We have free will to choose Jesus, choose church

Honor God first by honoring Him with our tithes and offering:

  • Genesis 4:3-5 — Firsts: First born child and first fruits of the ground.

  • Directions and instructions of God are for our welfare.

  • God only claims the “firsts.” God is expecting our first fruits.

  • Cain’s offering are not firsts.

  • Abel’s offering are firsts.

  • Lev. 23:9-10 —Moses’ sheaf of the first fruits to the priest, not to honor

the priest, but to honor God.

  • Exo. 13:1-2 — the Lord spoke, you MUST GIVE— firstborn baby boy

and firstborn male animals to the Lord.

  • The will of God for us is to prosper. Be grateful with what you have and

put it on the hands of God and see what God will do.

  • The feeding of the five thousand with 2 fishes and 5 loaves of bread in

the faith of the boy.

  • In multiplication we cannot multiply a number with a zero.

  • Exodus 13: 2– consecration of the first born, both man and beast and

offered to God.

  • Exodus 13: 12-13–offering of the first-born son could mean a sacrifice

and redemption. Jesus is the complete sacrifice and redemption. --->

Meaning, we must recognize and acknowledge Jesus.

  • Sunday is the first day of the week. God is looking forward to our FIRST

day of the week as our living sacrifice that He

promises that will come back to us good measure, press down, shaken

together and running over. (Luke 6:38)

  • Exo 23:19–first fruits of the land that God wants to claim from us.

  • Rom 8:29– foreknew, predestined to conform, firstborn Jesus— many

other sons were predestined, you and I.

  • Rom 11:16– when we honor God with our first, we would not have any

problem with our last. If roots are holy, so are the branches.

  • Let our tomorrow worry itself.

  • Sin and temptation. Sin is not temptation. You sin when you yield to

temptations.

  • start and end it right— a lot wiser.

-- Prov 3:9-10– honor the Lord with your possessions and the first fruits

of ALL your increase.

  • If we only offer our first fruits once a year, meaning within the year we

don’t have any increase. What matters is our heart. We can never outgive God.

Principle: We give because we are believing for increase.

And the increase is our first fruits, and it does not have to be once a year. Every increase we have, we give it our first fruits.

  • Give the increase in salary as first fruits, and tithe from the salary.

We can never tithe from the strength, wisdom that comes from God.

We can never outgive God.

  • Posterity measures. — does not support missions of God.

  • Prov 3:9-10–Don’t be pressured, God will fill our barns with plenty (not

just to the brim, but abundance) and overflow with celebration of new

LIFE.

  • Not to survive but THRIVE.

  • Not to strive but THRIVE.

  • No past tense to ALIVE, REVIVE, THRIVE. Always increasing.

  • Matt 6:33—> SEEK FIRST: The Kingdom of God and His righteousness and ALL will be added to you.

Your financial status doesn't determine your prosperity — God's grace does. He supplies seed to the sower and gives bread to the eater. Don’t let financial trouble hinder your giving. 2 Corinthians 8:1-5Moreover, brethren, we make known to you the grace of God bestowed on the churches of Macedonia: 2 that in a great trial of affliction the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded in the riches of their liberality. 3 For I bear witness that according to their ability, yes, and beyond their ability, they were freely willing, 4 imploring us with much urgency [a]that we would receive the gift and the fellowship of the ministering to the saints. 5 And not only as we had hoped, but they first gave themselves to the Lord, and then to us by the will of God.

How we know God will determine how we live our life. 2. How we know God will determine how we will make Him known.3. Our knowing of God does not mean anything if He does not know us.4. Five Keys to Having Breakthroughs:

1. Pray for selfless prayer. -Prayer for others.

2 . Speak, decree, and prophesy God's Word Over your Situations.

3. Remain in the Word, in God, and with God.

4 . Impose Deliverance. An integral part of the Ministry of Jesus.

What is to " IMPOSE" mean?

  1. "IMPOSE" means you take advantage of; take liberties with.

Micah 2: 13 AMPC - Will breakthrough, pass in through, and go out through.

John 11: 43- 44 - "Lazarus, come forth". Lose him and let him go!"

  • Breakthrough is coming forth but losing and letting go on the way. -not an unfinished breakthrough but there Is another one.
  • Coming our yet still bound - Lazarus came forth, but he needed people around him to loosen him and let him go. Never have to stay bound - unforgiveness.

  • "IMPOSE", means thrust yourself; force with; break

in.

John 8: 32 - knowing the truth and be set free.

Do not be bound with greediness, unforgiveness, depression, religious traditions. Not only starters but finishers.

Galatians 3: 1-3 - foolish Galatians - poor, silly, thoughtless, senseless, unreflecting.

Breakthrough is only done by the Spirit. ➔ FROM GLORY TO GLORY, from victory to victory, from rich to richer. Impose deliverance on yourself. Take advantage.

Our God is the God of breakthrough.

Three Questions:

  1. Who do we expect the Breakthrough will come from? - Breakthrough only comes from God. He is the Alpha, the Beginning.

  2. What do we believe the breakthrough is for? - God is a God of objectivity and purpose. We need to obey God even though we know yet, so we could see God and so we could let others see God through us.

  3. How can we actually have a breakthrough?

5 Keys to Receiving Breakthrough:

  1. Pray selfless prayer – pray for others.

  2. Speak, decree, and prophesy God’s Word over your situation.

  3. Want to live long? Choose life. Never speak a lie or allow wicked words to flow out of our mouths.

  4. Decree on a word and it is going to be established. Say what God says.
  5. Psalm 34:12-13

  6. Remain in the word. Remain in God and with God.

    • There is a time element for our breakthrough.
    • 1 Kings 18:41-46
    • Quitting makes the miseries harder.
    • John 15:7
    • Abiding in God and in His Word –our desires begin to change.
    • We should not just pray for anything we want, rather it should be our goal to pray for everything God wants for us. We need God to give us new and better desires that are pleasing to Him.
    • Align yourself in God’s will.
    • And if we know that He hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of Him. Mark 11:24.
    • Hebrew 11:8-17 –by Faith.
    • Where we are right now is the starting point and God will catapult us to the next breakthrough.

Three Questions:

1. Who do we expect the Breakthrough will come from?

2. What do we believe the breakthrough is for?

3. How can we actually have a breakthrough?

5 Keys to Receiving Breakthrough:

  1. Pray for selfless prayer. (Pray for others)

• Praying for others is the key to our breakthrough.

• Matt 5:44-45—Others:

  1. Your enemies
  2. Those who curse you
  3. Those who hate you
  4. Those who spitefully use you

• Job 42:10-12 —Pray for your friends. –and God blessed the later days of Job more than His beginning.

  1. Speak, decree, and prophesy God’s Word Over Your Situation.

• Use your mouth for your breakthrough.

• God’s Word is a weapon, and the word “decree” is very powerful.

• But that decree still must be sent out into the kingdom by messengers. Until the messengers deliver the decree, there is no way for it to be enforced.

• Start declaring, decreeing, and claiming God’s promises over your life and your situation. You will see change.

• Ezekiel 37:1-10 AMP

  1. Prophesied as commanded.
  2. Prophesied to the lifeless bones (death). Can they live? Restored? Revived?
  3. Prophesied to the breath
  4. Change your words—- Word is life. A weapon.

• Speak the Word of God and not the situation. God is bigger than our mountains, troubles, trials, and challenges.

• Claiming God’s promises is a major key when praying prayers for breakthroughs. The best thing to do is get a list of verses that apply directly to your situation and start decreeing them.

• Decreeing on God’s Word is one major way we go in and take our promised land.

Romans 4:17— BELIEVE. God gives life to the dead and calls on things that do not exist as though they did.

God cannot give us everything all at one time. He knew us more than we know ourselves. God knows how much we can handle. The blessings of the Lord may not be our priority but God.

The greatest breakthrough is when we receive Jesus Christ In our hearts, and It should never stop us. It should open more doors so that we will experience a series of breakthroughs.

Breakthrough

  • a military movement that advances all the way through and beyond military defense/ an enemy's frontline defense.

  • Can be applied In all areas of our life in the aspect of agriculture, technology, science, knowledge, and learning, sports, health & wellness for all the children of God to enjoy.

The breakthrough comes from God. It is not dependent on our own abilities, status, or education.

Second Point: What do we believe a breakthrough is for?

Breakthrough Is like death, but death is not the end.

Two Kinds of Death:

  1. Death of the sinners - hell bound.

  2. Death of the saints - heavenward-it pleases God. It is a choice! Why leave the earth when you still have unfinished business on earth?

Genesis 49:24 - Joseph must face and break all the walls for God.

Walls of Joseph:

  1. Envy and injustice

  2. Grave - Brothers

  3. Sold as a slave

  4. Accused as a rapist - Potiphar

  5. Convicted and Imprisoned.

No matter how much you desire to have an Instantaneous breakthrough, it may not happen because you have to see yourself having a breakthrough from the first wall and the second and third and be reminded that if God had helped you in the midst of those walls, He is going to do it again, and deliver you again but not to remove those walls, obstructions, hindrances, and barricade because it was when God can deliver Joseph from those walls. It was when Joseph must climb over those walls.

Our breakthrough Is not dependent on the walls collapsing but on who our God is. God is the source of our breakthroughs.

Joel 2:7 -- - prophetic word for the churches.

They run like mighty men. They climb the wall like men of war. They march on the foundation. They did not break tanks.

THIS BREAKTHROUGH HAS A PURPOSE!

  • To bring a knockout to the enemy.

  • To get other people to get their breakthrough.

  • To advance in all areas of our life even In the midst of crises- spiritually, mentally, physically, materially, emotionally, financially, and relationally.

God is not in control of everything unless we allow Him. He can take care of us if we are in the middle of chaos.

Our breakthrough is determined by God. Breakthrough Is for us.

The secret why Joseph had a breakthrough: -- a Jew yet became the second most powerful.

Psalm 1 :3 - like a tree planted by the water (Word of God, Holy Spirit). Whatever we do prosper.

Stay by the well.

Stay by the fountain.

Stay by the river.

Well-watered, not over-watered.

We cannot be over-watered by the Word and the Holy Spirit and everything about us will be well. Know who God is Power. Which popular area of your life needed a breakthrough?

View Details

God’s breakthrough for us is not a one-time event. The breakthrough is for all seasons! As far as God is concerned, our breakthrough is unstoppable. Nothing can stop it. It’s all up to us to stop it.

Who do we expect the breakthrough will come from?

  1. Who do we expect the breakthrough will come from?

  2. Don’t look around, look to God. God is a God of breakthroughs. He is God that is doing everything for your breakthrough.

  3. Our breakthrough does not come from a place, or any human being, it comes from GOD!

  4. Breakthrough never happens without the breaking.

Breakthrough Heb – “Peris” – a gap, a break, a rapture, a tear, a breaking up or shattering of something.

Are we willing to accelerate, and expedite our breakthrough? > Something must be broken, must be shattered. -→ Breakthrough is like giving birth. Something is broken, shattered, then life comes forth.

There could be no breakthrough without walls, obstacles, hindrances, stumbling blocks, restrictions, barriers, barricades, and difficulties. -→ These are not part of life. Those only came when sin came. The life of a Christian is associated with mountains. There are mountains that need to be removed, and there are mountains you are supposed to climb up, go through it, and go over it. This begins with our perception, outlook, and how we see things. (Mark 11:23) --- Believe and you will receive. Faith is our equipment that can move a mountain, and go to the other side but faith can also become a boring machine unless we move and keep moving. Faith is not just about removing the mountains.

Our breakthroughs are not just dependent on the mountains being removed, there are breakthroughs that are dependent on the mountains that you climbed up until you reach the summit and walk to the other side and see the glory of God.

There are mountains that you only need to be penetrated, pierced, and infiltrated.

Breakthrough---happens through perception, the outlook in life, perspective, and frame of mind. Have an accurate frame of mind about a breakthrough. The God of breakthrough will do a breakthrough in you first before He will do a breakthrough thru you.

Do we want to change? → Heaven’s requirement: You change first. Embrace change.

God of breakthrough has done something in our hearts. Something is happening underground that no one else can see. Don’t let your past hurts stopped you from experiencing breakthroughs. ---Joseph never harbors animosity, hatred, or resentment in his heart towards his brothers. He never cursed his brothers. Stop complaining about the pain, and problems those are the things of the past. Stop talking about difficulties, start talking about possibilities. It’s not how hard your walls are, it’s how big your God is. Don’t talk to God about how big your mountains are, go and talk to your problem about how big your God is! ***

The Year of Breakthroughs

2 Samuel 5:19-20 David didn’t make friends with the enemy and negotiate. What David did do? → He inquired the Lord.

When we are facing trials, is “inquiring of the Lord”, the first thing we do? Jesus won the fight. The enemy has already been overcome and defeated. We are winners and not a loser. We don’t need to win the fight that Jesus has already won for us. We are not fighting to win.

We are not just a conqueror but more than conquerors.

1 John 3:8 – The purpose of manifesting Jesus is to destroy the works of the devil over our lives. ---“It is finished!”

1 Peter 5:8—we have an “adversary”—the devil, seeking for people to be devoured through deception.

Once you are deceived you believe the lie of the devil and that’s the beginning that you will become a loser. But if we believe the truth, hold on to the truth, and stand to the truth, no matter how tough life gets, we come out victorious.

So, what David did → He inquired the Lord. The Lord’s answer—“Go up!” and the Lord has broken through.

What “Breakthrough” means?

  1. a military movement that advances all the way through and beyond an enemy's frontline defense.

  2. An act or instance of removing or surpassing an obstruction or restriction in overcoming a stalemate. ⁃ A sudden, dramatic, and important discovery or development. - An act of overcoming or penetrating an obstacle or restriction. ⁃ An act or instance of moving through or beyond an obstacle. ⁃ An instance of passing through a barrier or protection.

  3. Any significant or sudden advance, development, achievement, or increase, as in scientific knowledge or diplomacy, that removes a barrier to progress. There is only one that could stop God from doing a breakthrough that is YOU.

You will stop God’s Breakthrough by:

  1. Unbelief— If you don’t believe

  2. Disobedience— If you don’t do what God asks you to do.

Breakthroughs don’t happen by luck, chance, accident, or randomly. Breakthrough happens on purpose! God’s eyes are watching to and fro, looking for people who are believing, expecting, and anticipating breakthroughs and God will come through no matter what you’re going through.

(pain, stress, distress, depression).

To experience breakthroughs, we should be intentional in our believing, obeying, expecting, and anticipating.

Breakthrough is the will of God for you. The God who heals, who hears our deepest cries, who answers prayers, who provides, who moves in power then, is still the same God who does them now.

Hebrews 13:8 – Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Three Points:

  1. Who do we expect the Breakthrough will come from? - Where do you expect the breakthrough will come from?

“God is about to do something greater, about to explode in our hearts, in this church, in our families, in our businesses, in the name of Jesus!”

God’s word remains forever.

Whatever lack, scarcity, or insufficiency there has in you, it’s just temporary. It will change. It’s subject to change. But we don’t have to expect that change will happen when the rapture takes place. God has given us the ability, the power, and the grace to literally change our situations. It’s up to us to change the circumstances we are in.

How can we change the situation?

1. RENEW YOUR MIND – renew your perspectives. (Perceptions, outlook)

  • Our perceptions or perspectives have nothing to do with our past— the environment-→ Can anything good come out of ourselves? --- Nothing. All came from nothing.

  • But God is a Master of Creation. He created miracles from nothing—except man. We came from something. God can do it until today.

  • Mean business with God, not only on Sundays but also Mondays through Saturdays. God wants to mean business with us. There must be no playing around.

  • Christian with a lifestyle. The goodness of God is beyond repentance.

  • Our perception comes from parents, society, the environment we came from, and the world--> this is making a hard time to be changed. -→ But unless we renew our minds, our way of thinking, and our mindset is destroyed we cannot be a testimony to the power of God. God is a master of turning nobody from somebody.

The first truth is, “Without God, life does not mean anything”. We can have everything but NO JESUS, we have nothing. → only half of the truth.

What do we believe with the other half of the truth?

A half-hearted truth is not truth. It must be the FULL TRUTH, not mixed with half lies, gray lies, or whatever lies.

The other half of the truth is—"With Christ, we can do all things, we have everything”.

Deal with the other half of the truth. Do not be blinded. Do not be deceived. Only a few, even believers, have a half-truth. How about the other half of the truth?

Are we confident and bold enough in our declarations? Timid? Arrogance? Weakness? → recognize the boldness, humility, the strength that comes from God.

2 Corinthians 3:5 AMPC

1 Corinthians 4:8 AMPC

Do not allow the devil to rule or dictate our lives. Live our life according to the Word and not according to the world. --. “I AM ALREADY FULL, RICH, AND REIGNING AS KING.”

Psalm 23:1

KJV: The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want.

MSG: “God, my Shepherd, I don’t need a thing.”

TPT: “The Lord is my Bestfriend and my Shepherd. I always have more than enough.”

EASY: “The Lord takes care of me, like a Shepherd with His sleep. I have everything that I need.” NIV: “The Lord is my Shepherd, I lack nothing.” ***

2022: A year of Wholeness, Completeness, Fullness, and Sufficiency

Our revelation of Who God is must progress and further understanding and comprehension of what God has revealed to us.

“Wholeness”, Meaning:

  1. The condition of being sound in the body.

▪ Be reminded of the spiritual benefit.

▪ What do we believe? We don’t need to tell God what we feel in our bodies. Be reminded of the sacrificial work of Christ on the Cross.

▪ Make up your mind. Be settled in the heart and mind of the Word of God -→ this is the report that He tells us. We need to decide to believe. Do not be twisted. Do not be deceived.

  1. It contains all components: Complete. Not divided or disjointed. Not wounded, injured, or impaired.

▪ Wholeness is the quality of being complete or a single unit and not broken and divided into parts--- the QUALITY of having WHOLENESS and harmony in MIND, BODY, AND SPIRIT.

▪ An entity or system made up of interrelated parts.

▪ BELIEVE AND SEE.

▪ Isaiah 55:11 – No word spoken by God will return to Him void.

  1. The state of being perfectly well in body, soul (mind, will, emotions), and spirit.

▪ “State” – the quality of being without restriction, exception, or qualification. The date does not matter.

▪ Perfectly well in spirit, soul, and body, means:

  1. Perfect in the spirit. – 1 Thessalonians 5:23

  2. Our sanctification is complete.

  3. We cannot defeat the devil full time when we are living a part-time Christian life. Our life must be 24/7 for Christ.

  4. Unless our spirit, soul and body are in full agreement with God and His Word, we will never be well in our state.

  5. Perfect in the soul. – Philippians 2:12

  6. Work out your own salvation. Exercise by perfectly aligning our soul (will, emotions and intellect) with the Spirit. Guard our hearts and mind so that there will be no confusion spiritually.

  7. Talk to your soul— emotion – how we should feel pertaining to every aspect of our lives.

  8. 1 John 3:8 –The purpose why Jesus was manifested—is to destroy the works of the devil.

2022: A year of Wholeness, Completeness and Fullness.

*Colossians 2:9-10

  • The Word of God says, “Our completeness only comes from God” and not on anything that is coming or about the inheritance that is named after us. Unless we don’t see or experience our wholeness and completeness in Christ, we will never know or understand or experience that we are complete. We are complete in Christ. When we have Jesus, we have everything.

“Complete” means, it expresses the final and entire attainment of what is treated leaving nothing beyond to be desired or hoped for.

  • We were never created by God to seek anything other than Him.

  • “seek the Lord while He may be found, call on Him while He is near.” (Isaiah 55:6) → Find Him with all your heart. And when we found Him, we found the solution. Christ is the answer. He is ALL that we NEED, ALL that we HAVE.

  • Our success, educational attainment, and material things cannot bring wholeness and completeness in our lives.

  • Be settled in our hearts that it is JESUS is the ONLY ONE we need to be complete and whole.

“Complete” also means “made whole.”

*Colossians 4:12

We stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.

Received the alignment that God has already performed in us.

Two types of people to identify ourselves with:

  1. Epaphras – Mature – more mature in His relationship to God.

A bondservant.

* Colossians 1:6

  • Always labors for prayer for all Colossians.
  • Has knowledge of the will of God.
  • Fruitful in every way.

  • Colossians --Immature – still know nothing about the will of God.

* Colossians 2:10

  • Don’t look for something, pursue things that will bring wholeness if we say we are complete in Christ.

* 1 John 4:17 –As He is, so are we in Jesus. We are not Christ; we can become like Christ.

* Psalm 27:4

  • We don’t have to have multiple desires. We must only have one desire – JESUS!

Four Things to know that will lead us to experience the Outbreak of the Wonders of God (Part 3)

Be encouraged to believe that there are still yet many signs, wonders, and miracles for all to see. We only need to have the Word for us to see something and demonstrate it. The church must show the power of God to people.

Four Things to know that will lead us to experience the Outbreak of the Wonders of God:

1. THE WONDER OF WHO GOD IS.

2. THE WONDER OF WHAT GOD DOES (DOING AND STILL DOING)

3. THE WONDER OF WHO MAN IS.

• Wonder on how God made you. — what is man that you are so mindful of him ? (Psalm 8:4 , Psalm 144:3 , Hebrews 2:6 ) . God intervened in our lives .

• We are created uniquely , made to be conf o rmed according to the image and likeness of Jesus . (Genesis 1:26).

• “ What is man that Y ou set Y o ur heart on him? -- We are carved out fro m the very heart of God. ( Job 7:17 )

• Respond properly to God so that we will be able to make in this life.

• The God being One (Father, Jesus , Holy Spirit) into a divine person — > spirit, soul, and body (man) .

• When God called us, He never committed a mistake.

• Be the person Go d has called you to be.

• “ I am what the Word of God says l am. ”

• “ I can do what the Word of God I can do . ”

• Ephesians 3:20 – the power of God works in us.

4. THE WONDER OF WHAT MAN CAN DO.

• Jo hn 14:12 — > T imeless truth → The person who follows Jesus in faith, believing in Him — > will do the same mighty wonders that Jesus did — > even greater than Jesus’ did — because we have the goodness, mercy, and grace of God, and we have the Holy Spirit.

• But do not be distracted by our own weaknesses.

• Why succumb to something that Jesus did not die for?

• Mark 16:15 - 18 -- > signs and wonders will accompany those who believe and follow Jesus.

Four Things to know that will lead us to experience the Outbreak of the Wonders of God (Part 1)

If you are not going to experience the outbreak of the wonders of God, then you are going to experience another kind of outbreak even of the wonders.— in the last days, satan will do lying wonders. If we have known or experienced and if you have the discernment of the outbreak wonders of God, you would know if it is a lie.

Deception can be one of the things that will happen in the last days. Spend time knowing the truth, and when a lie comes, we will not be deceived.

Ps 119:18-19– Open my eyes to see the miracle wonders hidden in the Word of God.

• The things of God are not seen by the physical eyes.

1 Cor 2:9-12 — “it is written, eyes has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered in to the heart of those who love God.

The challenge is:

If we really wanted to see and experience the outbreak of the wonders of God, stop looking for the manifestation or spectacular event on the outside, dig into the Word and see something from the Scripture. What God is about to do has already been mentioned in His Word.

  • What is required to see the miracle wonders of God is —our spiritual eyes be opened through the Holy Bible.

Four Things to know that will lead us to experience the Outbreak of the Wonders of God:

1. THE WONDER OF WHO GOD IS.

As being led by the Holy Spirit, Who is God personally to you?

1 Cor 2:12

Psalm 7:19

Isa 45:18

Micah 7:18

*What makes God incomparable:

  1. God is Eternal

  2. God is Omnipotent

  3. God is Omnipresent

  4. God is Omniscient

2. THE WONDER OF WHAT GOD HAS.

3. KNOWING THE WONDER OF WHO MAN IS.

  • Man is the wonder of God. You are not what anybody says you are.

  • Begin to appreciate who you are.—-mysteriously complex.

Psalm 139:13-15 TPT

  1. God formed my innermost being.

  2. Shaping my delicate inside and intricate outside.

  3. Woven them all together in the Mother’s womb.

  4. Formed every bone in my body.

• The Lord has lots of promises to those who are obedient.

  1. Diligently obey the voice of God.

  2. There must be the voice of the Lord and the Word of God, otherwise, it is ignorance (or only religious practice.) when we have NOT HEARD A WORD from the Word of God and His Spirit.

Four Things we can find during the birth of the church:

Pentecost is not just something we have to experience on a Sunday basis but we have to experience it on a daily basis

  • Not to be observed religiously
  • It was on the day of Pentecost the church began-- called the “Body of Christ” or the "Kingdom of God".

Acts 2:1-8, 44-47

People can argue with what you believe but never with the life being lived with God.

Four Things we can find during the birth of the church:

  1. Power -- Acts 1:8
    1. Speaking in tongues
  2. Purpose-- Matthew 28:18-20
    1. The purpose of this power is to disciple because preaching alone will not get the job done
    2. Desire the commission of God and that is to get somebody saved, healed, delivered, open blind eyes, let the crippled walk, cast out demons, and raise the dead.
    3. There is only one thing that can satisfy and that is being in the will of God and doing the will of God.
  3. Provision—
    1. Full, not lacking in anything. More provision of God than the need that we see at hand.
    2. Think, see, talk, behave, and act that you are already blessed. Not feeling rich, and wise but already rich and wise.
    3. Acts 4:34-35
    4. Job 8:7
    5. Acts 4:34-35
  4. Passion
    1. To be soul winners. Getting somebody saved.—- not a human passion but the Holy Spirit.
    2. Acts 4:18-20
    3. Soul-winning is not a program but a passion.

3. Humility / Humbleness -- freedom from pride and arrogance

Scriptures to read: 1 Peter 5:5-6 / James 4: 6-10

  • False humility of equivalent to pride and arrogance.
  • Silence is not about humility. It is unresponsiveness, dumbness, and eventually distrust.

Scriptures to read: Matthew 23:12 / Ephesians 6:8 / Philippians 2:3

Authentic humility is: TO PUT OTHERS FIRST. Do not allow self-promotions. Abandon selfishness.

Faith and Humility are two inseparable truths.

Our values should never devalue others.

Scriptures to read: Proverbs 15:33 / Proverbs 18:12 / Proverbs 22:4

1. Righteousness.

  • Means to walk uprightly. God’s righteousness over self-righteousness that ahs made us right.

2. Faithfulness

  • Means fidelity, and loyalty.
  • Means a firm and strict adherence to allegiance and duty.
  • The Faithful walk – love one another without criticizing, smiting, condemning.
  • Quality of heart = quality of giving --- make sure our giving finds favor with God. Giving leads us to find favor with both God and man.
  • Example: Jacob with Esau, Abel’s offering (Genesis 4:4; 32:5)

2 Chronicles 16:9 – God is looking for those whose heart is loyal to Him.

Genesis 6:7-9 --- Noah’s faithfulness found favor with God. He walked faithfully with God and that led him to favor.

We cannot come out faithful without being tried in our faith. Don’t quit in our fight in our race.

  • Faithfulness must be demonstrated in our lives. God sees it. People see it as well.
  • Faithfulness starts in the smallest thing.
  • Recognition sometimes brings pride. Be careful.

Job 1:22 –in all of Job’s trials, difficulties, challenges, and problems, Job stayed faithful to God. During those times, he did not sin.

Luke 16:12 – win friends, bless others.

  • Faithful – promoted and trusted with much
  • Cheaters – are not to be trusted.

Proverbs 28:20

A faithful man shall abound with blessings- there is no shortcut to double favor, blessing, and grace.

The point is: Many want to abound, not one time, and consumes all and then wait for another to abound. No. We should go from abundance to abundance; favor to favor. We do not stop with the journey.

Genesis 22:12 – Isaac sowed in the land of famine and God blessed him a hundredfold.

We don’t have to wait for centuries to abound in acceleration. We must be faithful now. Our faithfulness will bring abundance but must not stop being faithful.

Isaac→ prosper → continue to prosper (even in famine) → very prosperous.

Our faithfulness will take us to abundance.

WHAT DOES THE FAVOR OF GOD DEMAND FROM US?

  • Demand means – require.
  • God is demanding or requiring us to go to the next level. We suppose not to die where we were born.
  • God wants us to go to the next level of favor—grace upon grace, favor upon favor, blessing upon blessing, from faith to faith, righteousness to righteousness, victory upon victory. We go and are not stuck!
  • Favor is exceptional kindness and privilege – we are not the majority and the marginalized.
  • Favor means you are treated better than other people.

1. Righteousness.

Means to walk uprightly, to walk honestly and honorably.

Two kinds of Righteousness:

1. Imputed – freely given by God. We did nothing to receive it. It is a gift from God through faith.

2. Fulfilled – we achieve righteousness by living our lives in God. It must be fulfilled in our practice. It manifests. It will tell the kind of life we exemplify.

1 John 3: 7-10

▪ This righteousness/ grace of God does not stop us from sinning, but it can stop us from

keeping or living our life in sin. A born of God cannot sin. Being judgmental, critical,

unforgiving, and hating a brother is not righteousness.

▪ Sin is a reproach. Lesser evil does not guarantee that a nation will prosper.

▪ Righteousness exalts a nation – the help will come through the church.

▪ Righteousness is doing and saying something not once but over and over.

Genesis 6: 7-9

▪ Having a life with a pure heart in conformity to the divine law.

▪ Example: Noah walked with God and found favor in God.

Psalm 5: 12 – the righteous are empowered to succeed, and to prosper.

Ephesians 3:20—the power is within us.

Psalm 37:25 – No righteous is forsaken.

Psalm 34: 17 – God hears the cry of those who cried out to Him and delivers us out of all our troubles.

The devil does not have the right to change your identity. You are who Jehovah says you are. Jehovah

says you are the healed of the Lord, the delivered of the Lord, blessed of the Lord, favored of the Lord,

and prosperous of the Lord. Do not let the trouble change your identity.

Our walking and living experiences are the favor of God. But how can we live in the favor of God when everything is in disorder?

The most tragic thing in life is not death, it’s when you are alive but know nothing about your purpose or you have known it, but you ignore or reject it. This means that we should never be influenced by anything evil and even blame God for what we’ve done.

Genesis 3—where evil started...

Ephesians 5:16 – redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

We can’t do anything to stop evil from happening, but it must not influence/ impact/ affect our lives.

2 Timothy 3:1 – But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come:

Even without the devil, expect trials will come to you. Jesus didn’t do anything but tell the challenges to “go away”.

John 6:33 – "For the bread of God is He who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.”

Psalm 5:11-12 But let all those rejoice who put their trust in You; Let them ever shout for joy, because You defend them; Let those also who love Your name Be joyful in You. For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous; With favor You will surround him as with a shield.

Psalm 91:1 - He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

WHAT “FAVOR OF GOD” IS?

  1. The favor of God is a shield. – Psalm 5:12

  2. The favor of God is our shelter. – Psalm 91:1

  3. The favor of God will protect you.

  4. The favor of God is a canopy over us.

o Canopy- shelter, an umbrella of protection.

  1. The favor of God is our dwelling place.

  2. The favor of God will make us superior to our troubles.

  3. The favor of God is an exceptional (divine) kindness and privilege.

  4. The favor of God will make us be treated better than other people – preferential treatment (special, superior) over another.

  5. The favor of God is a God-given ability for us to have eternal life.

If we are experiencing the favor of God, we will never be hungry. God opens His hands and satisfies every living thing with His favor which is perpetual.

Psalm 145: 14-20 / Psalm 115:12-16

The favor of God---

  1. The Lord picks us up when we fall.

  2. He raises up those who are bowed down.

  3. He gives food in due season.

  4. He opens His hands and satisfies us with favor.

  5. He is gracious and merciful to you.

  6. He is near to all who call upon Him.

  7. He fulfills the desires of those who reverently and worshipfully fear Him –both small and great. God desired for everyone to be favored. (Psalm 115: 13)

  8. He hears our cries and saves us.

  9. He preserves all those who love Him.

  10. He will give us increase more and more (Psalm 115:14)—you and your children.

God has already blessed you. Don’t try to be blessed.

God’s growing desires for you-- favor and blessing.

What does the power of Jesus’ resurrection mean?

1. This means there was evidence that Jesus rose from the dead. (Matthew 28:5-7 AMPC)

2. This means that the power of the Resurrection is not just for a certain few.

3. This means that the resurrection power of Jesus is here to change our life.

A changed life is:

  • Walking in new life.
  • A growth, increase, and transformation, conformed to the very image of Jesus.
  • Walking in the power of resurrection.
  • Recognized by others to be different. It is an open door for others to become one.
  • Make a difference for others. Make a disciple.
  • A true change starts in the heart.

4. This means that the power of the Resurrection – is signs, wonders, and miracles.

Romans 8:11—The Spirit of God raised Jesus from the dead who dwells in you.

Don’t rationalize the power of God. Don’t expect that the power would be accepted by logic. When it goes beyond logic, it is when other people can experience the power. There should be nothing that God will do in our life that should stop with us. Everything that God does with us, should be able to be done through us. Let the blessing flow through us.

Double Divine Favor. Double Grace

Zechariah 4:6-7

The word "mountain" symbolizes hindrances/ obstacles that stop you from being who God wants you to be. In life, you face hindrances. There will be specific people that God will lay in our hearts.

Grace is defined as unmerited favor.

To Believe for Double Grace you should have double humility.

To Believe for Double Blessings you should have double obedience.

To Believe for Double Harvest you should have a double seed.

To Believe for Double Increase you should have double diligence.

To Believe for Double Favor you should have double faithfulness.

Evaluate yourself if you have been faithful to God. In your heart, you would know the answer.

You can be the most unqualified person, but if God can find not just faith but faithfulness in your heart, God will single you out. –special treatment --- meaning, to live faithfully and righteously, and God's favor will flow into your life.

It is not what you want to say but what God wants you to say. It is not what you want to be but what God wants you to be.

Psalm 84:10 – “One day in the house of the Lord is better than a thousand elsewhere.”

Are you ready to be singled by God in front of everybody? Keep your eyes open, be honest to God, and be faithful.

Psalms 5:12 (NKJV)

Daniel 1:9 (NKJV)

Ways we can appropriate God's favor (Double Favor):

  1. Obey God and follow His commandments.

  2. Believe it. Believe that God has a favor for you and even extra or double favors for you.

  3. Affirm it. Don't think twice but affirm that you have God's double favor available for you.

  4. Acknowledge it. Talk to the favor and notice it. During being occupied with other things, don't forget to acknowledge it.

  5. Act like it. Do not look like you are a victim. Show the world that you are blessed.

  6. Speak like it. Use positive words instead of negative. Speak as you walk in divine favor. Watch what comes out of your mouth. Only speak what favor would speak.

  7. Embrace it. Embrace it like your life depends on it. God extends His favor to us not because we are qualified but because we are not qualified. It was actually in spite of us.

  8. Pay attention to it. Do not listen to rumors. Pay attention to what it's saying. Pay attention to what God is doing instead of what others are doing. You will not find God’s favor anywhere. Listen to what the favor of God is saying to you.

Speak like it is as the favor of God is all over you.

Genesis 12:2 (AMP)

Begin to see yourself as a distributor of God's blessings.

With the double, it would only be the minimum that we can experience before we see Jesus face to face. If we don’t get it, we will not make it forever, we will not be able to make the triple, the quadruple, the multiple blessings of God.

God is giving us the chance even in this time of limitations—crisis. Crisis does not come from God. The crisis comes because of us: Crisis that comes to us, and crisis that comes from what we have done.

In any way, shape, or form, this crisis can bring fear to us because there is a promise of double for us by God.

God recognizes faithfulness from us.

Scripture: Exodus 16: 1-7 AMP

Believe that God can bless you more in the time of crisis (wilderness, desert) than in the time of convenience.

We can’t stop this crisis but understand that God promised to bring us to the Promise land – a land that flows with milk and honey ---a Land of Abundance.

Why spent 40 years in the wilderness when it took only 13 days to reach the promised land?

If we are experiencing delays in what we pray (desires) – we must know and understand that our prayer and desires must be aligned in the Word and will of God, or it may result in disappointment, disgust, and distress.

Prayer is a prayer not only because we say the Word of God. Prayer is prayer because we take the word of God back to Him and remind that it is His will and God will always have an answer--- He answers with a ‘yes and amen!

The wilderness exposes our hearts. Our waiting exposes our hearts. We must be led by the Spirit.

  • in verse 4 – we will see provisions of God coming (raining) from places we least expect it would come. Believe God for a breakthrough!

Anything that is not of God should be removed from us. God wants to take us out of the crisis.

The devil is not going to win the war... Only the plan and will and desires of God will prosper over us.

However, the suffering that the Israelites have gone through in the wilderness was self-inflicted. But the Lord was willing to take them out no matter what they have done.

The Lord’s blessing is not only intended for a day but a double blessing.

The will of God is progress, development, moving forward, and advancement. It does not change. We are designed by God to influence people to bless.

Three Major things had brought the curse or misfortune that the children of Israel had experienced on their way to the promised land:

  • Discontentment
  • Dissatisfied
  • Displeasure

Scripture: Zechariah 4:6-7; Isaiah 61: 7

  • Shame – double honor
  • Confusion – rejoice in their portion.

In their land, they shall possess double, everlasting joy shall be theirs.

When was the last time you laugh?

Double joy. Double healing. Double prosperity. Double increase. Double Multiplication, double in every way as far as God is concerned.

DOUBLE BLESSINGS

March is a month of Double, double!

  • Double Possessions
  • Double Manifestations
  • Double Multiplications

When our dreams come to reality, don’t make them own us.

Religion is the number one force that stops God from performing His power. Believe and do what you need to do, and God will do what He promised.

Matthew 6:33 NKJV

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

And all will be provided for us… double!

  • Double Blessings
  • Double Favor
  • Double Anointing
  • Double MAnifestation
  • Double Multiplication
  • Double Harvest
  • Double Honor
  • Double Portion
  • Double Possession (Inheritance)
  • Double Overflow
  • Double Grace

Equals: Double RESPONSIBILITY

This double will only be the minimum, only the beginning. God wants us to experience the double, double.

That is why we just don’t seek God without the kingdom. The entirety of the kingdom represents the King. We are too religious if we seek God without the kingdom.

Faith does not come from the heart of somebody else. Walk with somebody of the same faith as ours.

Do you know what it means to believe God for double? Before we believe God about anything, we need to know why we believe Him.

Romans 8:32 NKJV

He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?

Why would He not give you the blessings, portions, favors, anointing, honor, portion, and inheritance if He did not even withhold the most precious gift which is Jesus Christ?

We cannot believe without God’s wordà His Word is the basis of our faith.

We do not walk by sight (feelings, senses) --2 Corinthians 5:7.

  • Double faith
  • Double diligence
  • Double obedience – to instructions
  • Double faithfulness – stay burning hot for the Lord not lukewarm.

Believing is taking responsibility (double responsibility) Every blessing of God comes with a responsibility.

Salvation is a free gift. But to get the double blessings of God, we must obey.

“If the church is irrelevant during the time of crisis, the church will be relevant in the time of convenience.”

Any adulterated word of God will never set anybody free. Even today, He is free to move, touch, and bring the revelation that will bring revolution which will bring the manifestation of whatever you needed.

All doubles will equal double responsibility.

  • Take responsibility
  • Respond wisely

Our Main Goal: TO GLORIFY GOD

“The more you miss church, the less you will not miss church.”

Zechariah 9:12 NKJV

Return to the stronghold, You prisoners of hope. Even today I declare That I will restore double to you.

  • Be a soul-winner à It is a responsibility that all of us must do.
  • God will restore double if we return to Him. God is our stronghold of security and prosperity.

By the end of the year, we are going to experience double blessings and double breakthroughs. Restore doubles from our former doubles.

Psalms 37:18-19 NKJV

The Lord knows the days of the upright, And their inheritance shall be forever. They shall not be ashamed in the evil time, And in the days of famine, they shall be satisfied.

We must be double righteous. No compromises! Jesus is coming back to a glorious church.

Are you ready for your double?

  2. Year of Unstoppable Momentum
  3. Year of Breakthrough
  4. Year of Open Hand of God
  5. Year of Supernatural, Extraordinary, Uncommon, Unusual, Unprecedented Provision.
  6. Year of Double Harvest
  7. Year of Intensifying the Basics
  8. Year of Wholeness and Completeness
  9. Year for Kingdom’s Expansion
  10. Year of Outbreak of the Wonders of God

We must expect the double. In the middle of hardships, we cannot allow our past to pull us down.

(Our future is pulling us up and our past is holding us back. -Ptr. Elma)

  • Double, Double!

Read Job 42: 10-16 -- The Lord blessed Job.

Job experienced hardships in life (he lost his business, children, health), the only thing that was left to him was his “life” and that he doesn’t end up a loser.

  • in verse 10 - The Lord restored everything to Job when he prayed for his friends (they are not true friends).

The Lord doubled everything that Job has lost.

We might have lost the fire, or we might have lost our freedom, there might be weeping in the night, but JOY comes in the morning. We will see doubles.

  • in verse 12 - the latter part of Job’s life is better than our beginning.

We can expect double! –-> a skyrocketing increase in wage, earnings, income, and finances.

Double blessings = Double responsibility.

Double of God’s blessings, double in God’s favor, double in portion, double in harvest, double in honor.

Announcement/ Declaration/ Proclamation:

Beginning in March we are going to see a manifestation of this double. It will be a day of celebration and jubilation!

Six Basic Foundational Doctrines of Christianity

Hebrews 6: 1-2NKJV

Therefore, leaving the discussion of the elementary principles of Christ, let us go on to perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, of the doctrine of baptisms, of laying on of hands, of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.

Let’s grow to maturity. Move on to perfection. Jesus is coming back to a glorious church.

  1. Repentance from Dead Works
  2. Faith Toward God
  3. Doctrine on Baptisms
  4. Laying on of Hands
  5. Resurrection of the Dead
  6. Eternal Judgment

  7. Eternal/ Final – individual accountability, no more appeals, no more defense.

Two Major Judgments:

  1. Judgment Seat of Christ (Gk. “Bema”)

a. For the believers only.

b. Designed for those who received and acknowledged Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

c. Not for condemnation, but for reward (Romans 14:10-13; 2 Corinthians 5:9-11)

How do we even know the reward that we are going to get?

  • The giving of rewards concerning what we have done while we were still alive— but if you have done the unrighteous deed, you will go to heaven but will never receive a reward.
  • Salvation is not a reward but a gift. It is not given because we have done well.

d. Not according to works

  • We are not saved by work either.

  • It is by grace that we have been saved. (Ephesians 2:8-9; Romans 3:23; Romans 6:23).

2. Great White Throne Judgment

  • For all remaining sinners – The unbelieving, the unsaved, the ungodly world.
  • Designed for all who denied and rejected Christ à greatest sin.

There is no such thing as “once saved, always saved.” No such thing as “Christian now, Christian forever.

When towards the later part, we came to deny Jesus (many will draw cold) – lies, fornication, adultery…

What to do not to deny Christ? --Get to know the Truth.

This Truth (The word of God) will help us discern what is not of God, that which is deception.

Matthew 10: 32-33 Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven. But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven.

Revelation 18:23 - the greatest deception is through sorcery–Gk. “Pharmakeaia” (Pharmacy, Parmaceuticals)

  • According to works. (John 5: 24-29)

Good believers and obedient people shall not come into judgment but reward those who are steadfast in every way.

Romans 14: 10 - Why judge your brother?

  • We have no right to judge others even if we have witnessed their ways.

2 Corinthians 5:10 - Why cancel someone who has done a mistake? Good or bad, we will all appear before the judgment seat of Christ. God knows believers are good and bad.

Good means being steadfast, faithful, loyal, committed, dedicated, relentless. Bad, means “did not grow in their faith.”

But our being good is not enough or not the way to heaven. It is our responsibility to be good or else we might drag people away with our actions and attitudes.

There is no small or big sinner. If you are saved, then you are saved. There is no neutral ground. We are all for righteousness. ***

Foundational Scripture: 1 Corinthians 15: 3-23

Death is not the end. It is just a beginning of a different kind of life.

The significance of the Resurrection:

  • It testifies that Jesus was the first fruit from the dead.
  • It testifies that Jesus died for our sins.
  • It testifies that Jesus came to earth, died, and was raised from the dead.
  • It testifies that if there is no resurrection from the dead, then our preaching and faith are empty, futile. We are still in sin.

More scriptures:

  • John 5: 28-29
  • Revelation 20: 12-15
  • Revelation 20: 12-15
  • Matthew 22: 31-32
  • Romans 4: 22- 25; 10:9
  • 1 Corinthians 15: 12-17; 15: 32 - 38; 15: 42-44

Death is the greatest equalizer.

CHANGES HAPPEN IN THE BODY IN THE RESURRECTION OF THE DEAD:

  1. Sown in corruption, raised in incorruption. The real us is not our physical body.

  2. Sown in dishonor, raised in glory

  3. Sown in weakness, raised in power

  4. Sown in natural, raised in spiritual

  5. Our inward man is being renewed day by day.

  6. Incorruptible body (glorified body).
  7. Make the right choice: Life or Death.

Those Who Died In Christ

1 Thessalonians 4: 13-17

  • The resurrection of the dead means to be with Christ forever.
  • Those who are alive and remain will be caught up (raptured) together to meet with the Lord.
  • Make sure to live in Christ and for Christ.

4 things that signify the laying of hands that still can be applied today:

  1. For the release of the blessing. (Intentionally)

  2. God wants us to go from blessing to blessing, favor upon favor, grace upon grace, increase upon increase and multiplication upon multiplication.

  3. Gen 48:14
  4. Matthew 19:13-15

  5. It is a miraculous demonstration of the power of God.

  6. Mark 5:23; 7;32; 8:23

  7. Religious people- have the form of godliness but deny the power.
  8. The difference between Christianity and religion is the POWER OF GOD.
  9. Luke 4:40; 13:13
  10. Acts 9:12; 5:12; 28:8
  11. Get the plan of God done.

  12. For consecration.

  13. Consecration/ Commissioning— a solemn dedication and commission to a special purpose, assignment, or service.

  14. Acts 6:3-6; 13:3 —sending away, setting apart

  15. A way for the Holy Spirit to come upon the person.

  16. Acts 8:17-19; Acts 19:6

  17. Impartation. To receive the Holy Spirit
  18. Christianity will have no purpose if Christians don't have power.
  19. We don't have any right to call ourselves Christians if we are not ready to demonstrate the power.
  20. Therefore, believe in power.

We need no longer to be baptized in these:

  1. Moses’ baptism— new life (1 Cor 10: 2)

  2. John’s baptism—repentance (Mark 1:4)

  3. Jesus’ baptism— death and resurrection

  4. Baptism of suffering— cross, death, persecution, die to sin (Luke 12:15), not worthy to be compared. Stop sinning.

Three kinds of Baptisms today:

  1. Christian water baptism. To testify of our new identification in Christ (Matt. 3:15). Buried and resurrected (Rom. 6:4), in obedience to God (Matthew 28:19).

  2. Holy Spirit baptism (and fire)— entrance into the supernatural. (Matthew 3:11) We were never designed by God to live a natural life but to live a supernatural life through the baptism of the Holy Spirit and fire. (Roman 9:1) bearing witness in the Holy Spirit.

  3. Baptism into Christ. Being united in Christ. (Galatians 3:27).

Why do we need Faith in God?

1.  For without faith no one can be saved.

2.  For without faith, it is impossible to please God. (Hebrews 1:6)

3.  For without faith, we won’t be able to receive anything from God (not until we believe).

4.  Faith is the only way to live. (Habakkuk 2:4; Romans 1:17; Galatians 3:11-12; Hebrews 10:38)

5.  Healing comes only in God.

6.  Prosperity comes only from God.

7.  Salvation comes only from Jesus.

8.  The word of God is the solid foundation of our faith.

9.  The Holy Spirit’s intercession for me that I might not depart from my faith. (Luke 2:31-32; Job 1:6-12; Amos 9:9)

10.  To be strengthened, to be strong for people who are not strong. (People gain strength from others)

9 This is why the Scriptures say: Things never discovered or heard of before, things beyond our ability to imagine these are the many things God has in store for all his lovers. 10 But God now unveils these profound realities to us by the Spirit. Yes, he has revealed to us his inmost heart and deepest mysteries through the Holy Spirit, who constantly explores all things. 11 After all, who can really see into a person’s heart and know his hidden impulses except for that person’s spirit? So it is with God. His thoughts and secrets are only fully understood by his Spirit, the Spirit of God. 12 For we did not receive the spirit of this world system but the Spirit of God, so that we might come to understand and experience all that grace has lavished upon us. 13 And we articulate these realities with the words imparted to us by the Spirit and not with the words taught by human wisdom. We join together Spirit-revealed truths with Spirit-revealed words. 14 Someone living on an entirely human level rejects the revelations of God’s Spirit, for they make no sense to him. He can’t understand the revelations of the Spirit because they are only discovered by the illumination of the Spirit. 15 Those who live in the Spirit are able to carefully evaluate all things, and they are subject to the scrutiny of no one but God. 16 For Who has ever intimately known the mind of the Lord Yahweh well enough to become his counselor? Christ has, and we possess Christ’s perceptions. 1 Corinthians 2:9-16 TPT

I assure you and most solemnly say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea!’ and does not doubt in his heart in God’s unlimited power, but believes that what he says is going to take place, it will be done for him in accordance with God’s will. For this reason I am telling you, whatever things you ask for in prayer in accordance with God’s will, believe with confident trust that you have received them, and they will be given to you. 1 Now as Jesus passed by, He saw a man who was blind from birth. 2And His disciples asked Him, saying, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?” 3Jesus answered, “Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but that the works of God should be revealed in him. 4I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work. 5As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.” 6When He had said these things, He spat on the ground and made clay with the saliva; and He anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay. 7And He said to him, “Go, wash in the pool of Siloam” (which is translated, Sent). So he went and washed, and came back seeing. 8Therefore the neighbors and those who previously had seen that he was blind said, “Is not this he who sat and begged?” John 9:1-8 NKJV
