🎙️ In this first SHORT episode, we talk about the state of the creator economy and where it's headed to help you choose your focus. Your time is limited and you can't do it all. Where are you going to put your efforts this year, what type of content, and which platforms?

In this episode, we explore what we get wrong about burnout, how to avoid it and lean into self-care. Because when you're going "all in" 24/7 at some point, your body & mind broke down.

Having access to so much information ready to be consumed on-demand seems like an amazing opportunity to grow our skills and continue to learn. That's also one of our biggest distractions.
We consume too much information, every day, we overload our brain which leaves us unfocused and confused with what to do next.
It's also a big waste of time because we won't even remember most of it. We procrastinate with "learning".
What can we do to change this bad habit to learn really when it's necessary and make time to create more. That's what today's episode is about.
I truly hope you'll have great takeaways from today's episode. Continue the conversation in the comments here to share your thoughts so we can all learn from each other! 💛✨✨✨
Have you found yourself planning more than actually creating? This happens to so many creators because they want to have the perfect content calendar with a bunch of episodes or videos planned ahead so that they can make sure to work on the right piece of content that we'll resonate with their audience.
So we lose a crazy amount of time brainstorming, planning, and rescheduling episodes and videos because two weeks down the line it doesn't make sense anymore. We actually procrastinate a lot with planning.
Let's see today how we can fix this to be confident about the decision we make and create more.
I truly hope you had great takeaways from today's episode. Continue the conversation in the comments here to share your thoughts so we can all learn from each other! 💛✨✨✨
The video announcing this YouTube update now has 245K dislikes (for 17K likes), that's to tell you how people are made about it🙄
As a creator you will still be able to see the dislikes count but it will be hidden from the public. So what's the impact for you as a user and small creator? That's what today's conversation is all about🤓

What's the difference between a course that sells to 100 people, and one that sells to 1000? Or 10,000? If you take the same course and run it two times, you might get 10 students, and then 100 the second time around.
But the content hasn't changed. Or the quality. Or the pricing. So you cannot link the course quality to the number of signups.
Many amazing creators don't have a lot of views of their videos. Or listen to their podcast.
And that might be the case for you, whether you're just getting started as a creator or if you've been at it for months.
Today's episode will help you detach yourself from results and outcomes, so you can focus on your work.
Book mentioned in this episode: The Practice by Seth Godin.

Have you ever asked yourself why do you really want to be consistent with your work, and how does that even mean to you?
We're constantly told that we need to be consistent all the time with sharing our work or hitting publish, no matter what. That's being "on" all the time and not missing an upload is what content creators should aim for if they want a chance of getting picked up by the algorithm.
We live by the rules of social media and the different platforms we use to share our work, without even questioning it.
Fomo, stress, anxiety... burnout is all too normal for content creators.
We need to change this conversation and recenter it around your needs and what it really means for you to create and be consistent with your message and how you want to show up for your people.

Uploading and sharing your content when no one is listening or watching is tough. You spend hours planning, scripting, recording, editing, promoting, and then... nothing. You get 10 views.
But those 10 views are everything when you get started. 10 people showed up and paid attention to your content and hopefully enjoyed it. Starting as a content creator is not about growing fast and checking your analytics every 5 minutes. It's about connecting with the people who choose to come back to your content because they relate to your message.
Growing is difficult and it takes time, consistency, and, well, growing your skills as a content creator. In this episode, we talk about making the most of this moment as a small creator.
