Feasting at the Table(FAT) is a Bible Study programme that seeks to apply truths from the Bible to our everyday life. We believe that the Bible is the infallible Word of God and that it is a book of patterns, principles and promises . As we study and apply the principles we glean from the patterns,we will be beneficiaries of his promises and will become more like Jesus which is God’s ultimate will for us. Join Grace every week on this exciting journey for a fresh, annoited and timely word from God .
We conclude our series on the life of Apollos today looking at the final verses where Apollos name is mentioned and as we reflect on the several principles shown in these verses, we know that becoming a better you is a choice we all have to make.
Our lesson continues as we study the life of Apollos who continues to show us what it will take to become better .We see how capacity building led to the next place of assignment
Apollos teaches us further that becoming a better you would involve actively participating in a community where people can recognize your talemts and spur you to do more .We still find several lessons as we continue to explore the life of a man who teaches us to do better.
Our story continues as we look at the life of Aquilla & Priscilia who influenced the life of Apollos .This power couple teach is many things , especially their ability to have "togetherness", we learn from them the need for a couple to achieve intimacy in nine areas and their patience as they impact the life of Apollos
Apollos continues to show us with his life the need to do some tings in order to become better. We see the discipline of exercsing his gifts, as well as being able to engage and serve in a community
Apollo's life continues to teach us on becoming better. Our lesson today ecplores the fact that Apollos loved what he was doing , was subjected to instructuin and learning and had an area of specialiazation.
We continue to study how to become better moving further as we glean more on the life of Apollos being eloquent, learned and mighty in scriptures"
We start today as we look at the first two things in Apollos life that we can imbibe to make become a better person . We look at the fact that the Bible tells us that he was born in Alexandria and explore how that influences and affects his life
Our study continues today as we begin to look at the background of the story of Apollos in Acts &Acts 18.We learn several lessons and explore the scene before Apollos comes up on the scene in verse 18.
We continue our study as we look at the one person who does not need to become better -God. This lesson teaches us about the Immutability of God , the fact that he does not change and what our response should be.
We begin a new series today as we strive to begin the year rightly. With several new year resolutions, it appears that the need to become better is a desire for many and in this study , we examine the life of Apollos who became a better person and learn principles from him.
We come to the grand finale of our study where we see the promise of God fulfilled in the life of Abraham and Sarah. What lessons do we learn so we can also obtain the promises we desire from God as we consider the life of Abraham .God indeed is faithful
We learn from Abimelech and Abraham's encounter on how to deal with offense as well as besetting sins .We must be faithful to have honest conversations as well as seek to apologize when we are wrong , rather than giving excuses.
Abraham does not only wait on his visitors but finds his place interceding for his nephew . There are so many valuable principles we learn from Abraham
Our study continues as we delve further into Genesis 18 as we see Abraham attending to heavenly visitors, we learn so many valuable lessons from the man God refers to as his friend
Abraham ,a friend of God receives a friendly visit from him . We learn a lot from his encounter and see how God in his faithfulness relates to us as people and how we can encounter God's faithfulness by relating to others well
Our study delves further into this chapter and we see so many more principles in the life of Abraham as we explore more about the faithfulness of God
We continue looking at Abraham's fifth encounter with God, with the revelation of God ,there was responsibility and new names were given .It is important that we identify with what God says about us .
Our study continues as we see God revealing himself to Abraham again. It is the fifth divine appearance. Every revelation of God brings about a responsibility from us.
God's faithfulness also reaches to Hagar, although she has made her mistakes. Our study shows what to do in damaged relationships and how sometimes , there is a need for us to change our attitude and submit to authority. God cares for the oppressed and wants us to treat our inferiors fairly
What do we do when the person we have called to help with the vision hijacks our vision? When our plans go wrong and we are faced with relationship failures, what are our responses and can we still trust the faithfulness of God ?
Even in our journey of faith, we would find times of waiting and as we begin to study Genesis 16 , we start to look at characteristics of true faith .When it comes to the journey of faith, there will be alternatives as wellas detours , but true faith will wait on God and not seek alternatives
Our study today looks at the last segment of Genesis 15 as we begin to understand and learn from the life of Abraham what to do when we face doubts,discouragement and fear . We know that God is faithful but there is a need to learn how to deal with these enemies of faith .
We now move to scene 5 to consider the dialogue between Abram and God, to glean principles as God addresses Abram's concerns and shows himself again as faithful
We continue to look at Abraham seeing him as the worshipper to learn how to respond to victories as well as understanding how to give and respond to the revelation of God we have received
We continue to look at further steps to restore a fallen brother as restoration is part of Gad's faithfulness
We continue our study looking at how to restore a fallen brother as we see the faithfulness of God ,still using the life of Abrsm.
We continue to look at the life of Abraham further as a watcher, a warrior and a worshipper. His ability to have and forge good relationships with people who could help when he had a battle . The faithfulness of God made the information available to Abraham.
We continue our study looking at Lot and the decisions he made. most times based on what he could see . Lot made progress as long as he followed correctly . Only when we trust the faithfulness of God will we experience his leading and followership.
Abram has faced tests of circumstances, people and we see him in this study facing the tests of things, making choices in relationships as well as the believer's response to conflicts. He does this showing us how to live by faith while trusting the faithfulness of God
Our studies continue with the life of Abraham as he faces trials in the land of promise , right in the middle of doing God;s will so as to learn underlying principles and a believer's response to tests and trials
We continue to our study looking at famine in the land of promise , learning from Abram the place of tests along the journey of faith

Jonah continues to provide lessons on the mercy of Gpd. Our study continues as we look at Jonah's reaction to his success in ministry.Gpd patiently teaches Jonah more in their ongoing conversation/
Jonah teaches us some more as we look at his second prayer, comparing to his first. We learn from him dealing with emotions and being able to be vulnerable before God. This study focuses on verse 1.
We continue our study as we look at the effect of the obedience of Jonah gleaning some more principles from his life as well as that of the people of Nineveh
Our study continues in the next half of the book, moving into chapter 3 ,we look at verses 1-2 understanding the principles of a second chance and the work of mercy .
We continue our study by looking closely at the prayer of Jonah , a psalm of thanksgiving, learning principles from this prayer about how God shows mercy . This is followed by looking at the multi-dimensional acts of the mercy of God from another Thanksgiving Psalm
Our study continues as we look at how the sailors did something about their prayers, Jonah being mature enough to own up to his mistakes, the need to remove Jonah so that some storms will cease, the mercy of God as Jonah is thrown overboard as well as an overview of the prayer in the fish's belly.

In Part 2 of this series , we continue to look at receiving God's word as another way of experiencing God's mercy . We learn the importance of God's word and that he still speaks to us. God's word to us usually results in taking action, sometimes that action might be a call to wait. We see Jonah experiencing God's mercy when he received God's word which was specific and many other applicable lessons to our lives
The book of Jonah is more about God than about the fish or Jonah . Rather a close study will show a book where we learn to experience the mercy of God as Jonah did. This first part of the study introduces us to the mercy of God, the need for God's mercy, the characteristics of God's mercy ,the benefits of God's mercy ,how to receive the mercy of God
In the concluding episode of this series, we look at the very last glipmpses of the life of Joseph as potrayed in the scriptures . Joseph teaches us some more lessons even as the foster father of Jesus at the age of twelve.The surendered life can be lived as long as we are willing to surrender and yield to God's spirit

Our study continues in chapter 2 of Ruth, seeing the changes in Naomi and further characteristics of barrier breakers , we see a teachable spirit and as we move into chapter 3 , we see that Barrier Breakers can wait .
Ruth continues to teach us on the path of becoming a barrier breaker , apart from being dilligent and grateful. We see these characteristics again and move on to some more of these consistently in her life .We dig further into chapter 2 ,verse 14-18 .
We continue our study looking at more characteristics of Barrier breakers seeing Ruth as a dilligent person with a grateful spirit as we dug further into chapter 2 verse 4-10,.
We continue our study on Ruth looking closely at her statement of commitment to Naomi. This was the first characteristics of Barrier breaker but it shows how the various evels of what commitment really entails . We see some other characteristics of Barrier breakers as we move into chapter 2.
Our study continues in chapter 1 from verse 7-18 ecamining the journey back to Bethlehem. Many principles are drawn ftom the decision to return, being on the road that leads to our destination. In this episode, we see the first characteristics of a Barrier Breaker using the life of Ruth

In this final episode of this series, we look at the third and final prophecy of Balaam as well as the counsel he offered to Balak later to make the children of Isreal sin against God. Determined to collect the wages, he committed the error for which the Bible remembers him. The way of Balaam and the doctrine of Balaam are all part of the error of Balaam we must flee from
We continue our study with Balaam as he proceeds to go to curse Isreal. He arrives and meets Balak but seeks God's counsel. In this study, we look at the first two prophecies of Balaam about Isreal .
We continue to look at Balaam as we go further in chp 22 v20-38 , faced again to do the very thing he had been forbidden to do .Indeed his desire for gain made him look for a way around it.Sometimws we make thesame error like Balaam and refuse to listen to already laid down instructions .We should develop a sensitive heart to the things of God and not embark on journeys God is not pleased with.
Our study continues as we look at the conversation God had with Balaam in Numbers 22 v 9-19 . We start by looking at one of the first errors of Balaam. God asked who but he answered why. Sometimes God has spoken but we are wanting to hear something else and the right company can help We learnt the importance of the right company , delivering faithfully what God has said and how Balaam did not give the full message .The Error of Balaam is indeed a set of several errors that we need to be aware of .
Our study continues today in Mumbers 22 v.7-9 as we examine more closely the claim of Balaam that God will speak to him and the ways he speaks to us as his children today. . We look at the various ways God speaks to us and what we should use to test everything we perceive as the voice of God / We also glean from the hospitality of Balaam .
Our study continues in the book of Numbers 22 as we continue to look at the Error of Balaam. We learn that Balaam had honed his prophetic gift and was sent for 350 miles away. We learn the art of delegation, the importance of fighting the right battle and knowing when to collaborate with others . Balaam teaches us about the importanceof knowing and hearing the voice of God and what our priesthood should be about . Although he made several errors, there are still some things to learn from Balaam .
Apostle Jude in his short letter warns us not to follow the way of Cain, the Error of Balaam and the rebellion of Korah. We begin a new series on the Error of Balaam and start by looking at the story of the Isrealites as they wait to go into the Promised land. Their success attracted enemies.and these enemies decided to use all available resources including engaging the services of Balaam, a prophetof international repute.
In this concluding episode of this series, we look t the events when Peter gets to Cornelius's house. There was a crowd eagerly waiting and another day of Pentecost occured .Peter still had to defend himself before the other jewish believers and there are several other lessons we glean from Cornelius, a man who clearly harnessed the power of one .
We continue our study from Acts 10 verse 24 and consider the interactions between Apostle Peter &the men sent by Cornelius . This scene teaches us more about the man Cornelius and the witness about him even in his absence. Apostle Peter also has a lot to teach from his interaction with the strangers and his ability to go quickly with them .The lesson ends in verse 25 where we get to the house of Cornelius, yet again stunned about how he exercises the power of one and gathers a crowd, using his influence to share the good news
Our study moves to the next scne in Joppa and we examine the verses 9-21 of Acts 10, examining the so many truths , examining the patterns , the similarities between Apostle Peter and Cornelius in the place of prayer, submission , surrender, being ready to move on to the new and the power of equipping people rightly.
