Welcome to "Beyond the Boat: Breaking Barriers with Faith"! Join me as I go deep into the remarkable story of Noah after the flood, guided by the timeless wisdom of Scripture, and how I feel it relates to me and maybe your journey.
In Genesis 8:15-17, we witness Noah's emergence from the ark, stepping onto dry ground after the flood. As Noah faced the vast unknown, he clung to God's promise: "Go out from the ark, you and your wife, and your sons and your sons' wives with you. Bring out with you every living thing that is with you of all flesh—birds and animals and every creeping thing that creeps on the earth—that they may swarm on the earth, and be fruitful and multiply on the earth."
Throughout Genesis 9, we see Noah's covenant with God, symbolized by the rainbow, signifying God's enduring faithfulness and mercy. Inspired by Noah's unwavering trust, we're reminded of Hebrews 11:7: "By faith Noah, being warned by God concerning events as yet unseen, in reverent fear constructed an ark for the saving of his household. God does not want us to place anything before Him. His desire is that we worship Him and Him alone. He must come first in our lives. As a Christian don’t forget these priorities:
- God must come first.
- Develop godly, righteous character.
- Seek first the Kingdom of God.
As a Married Christian God Showed me these priorities in my life:
- God First
- My Wife Rachel
- My Marriage
- My Kids
- Everything else.... PERIOD
