Thinking about starting a new campaign in D&D 5E? Have some hints/tips for those getting started? Then this podcast is for you. We'll talk about those first steps, common pitfalls, useful tools and any number of concerns that we all faced in the early days. All of this, and never taking up more than 1/2 hour of your time.
We'll discuss Dungeons and Dragons, 5th Edition or 5E. We'll touch on other roleplaying games (RPGs) such as Mothership, TSR favorites, Talislanta, Star Wars, just to name a few.
New episodes post on the 1st and the 15th.
Hi everyone, thanks for listening and I can't tell you how much I appreciate it that you made it this far. This episode we talk about the importance of thinking about the story arc. Recognizing that your players have an impact on the world and that the campaign now has co-authors. We also introduce the first ever DM challenge. The challenge is there, give it a shot and let me know how it goes. I'll give you a hint, it's short and angry all the time. As always, I hope that you'll leave a message for me to work into future episodes, and of course, Happy Holidays!

So, you've decided to start a campaign, well now you need to provide a setting so your players can start immersing themselves in your world. We discuss the task of creating a town/city or country, while following the mantra of "Start small...get big." We also have our first DM's Toolbox where we highlight DonJon's fantastic Fractal World Generator. As always please feel free to leave a message or send an email. Thanks for listening.

So you've decided to start a campaign? In this episode we highlight starting a campaign on a budget (i.e. don't buy every book in the store), common challenges and focusing on making sure that you and your players have similar expectations. We also have our first Reference Tomb challenge, so I'm hoping to hear back from a lot of you...a lot meaning more than zero. Thanks for giving this podcast a chance.
