Silent Hill is no longer a rumor, it is back and bigger than ever! Not only are we getting a Silent Hill 2 remake, we are also getting two new games, a Silent Hill “experience” and a new movie. Exciting times ahead… What’s not exciting is the Gotham Knights game as It’s technically gimped at 30 FPS and our eyeballs are not happy.

Google shocked the world (kinda) on Thursday when they announced that they will be shutting down Stadia. Even more shocking is that they’ll refund every hardware or software purchase since launch. Good guy Google, I guess? In more positive news from that same day, PlayStation Stars launched in Asia and finally confirmed that the loyalty program will not only reward you with digital collectibles that are NOT NFTs, but with a point system that you can use to fund your wallet to buy things from the store.

Well, Microsoft kicks off with a great showcase targeting the Asian audience, and Capcom has outdone themselves with Street Fighter 6. Wait, what? Sony crashed Nintendo’s Direct day and announced an impromptu State of Play? That’s cold, Sony.  In all seriousness though, the State of Play actually had some decent announcements and reveals, including the world premiere of a horror run-based first-person driving survival game, a sci-fi mech shooter that is the embodiment of mech anime, and of course, gameplay footage from God of War Ragnarok.

The day has finally come and we have the name AND release date for the next Legend of Zelda game, which is now called, Tears of the Kingdom and it will be gracing our Switches 12th May, 2023.  That’s perfect because we plan on being sick that day and not go to work, so we should have all the time we need to explore that beautiful world of Hyrule.

Assassins Creed is going back to basics with their next game, Assassins Creed Mirage. Bringing back what made first game good. Microsoft has done bad with Halo fans…again…in their latest roadmap update, saying they are removing split-screen co-op till God knows when.
