While it is an incredible plant with a variety of positive benefits and features, nothing comes without some downsides.
While many of these downsides have more to do with us, than the plant itself, I think it’s important to try and give a full picture of cannabis, and humanities relationship with it.
When it comes to consuming cannabis, we’ve learned that we are activating our Endocannabinoid system which then allows it to regulate many systems. Obviously this is a good thing, but when it comes to things like Anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues Cannabis can sometimes be more of a negative than a positive.
In this episode I will talk about the life cycle of the Cannabis plant. We’ve talked about a lot of different compounds that the plant produces, as well as different consumable products derived from it, but I think you may find the life cycle of the cannabis plant and why it produces these compounds to be interesting. Just to be clear, this is not advice or me telling you to grow cannabis, especially in locations where it is illegal.
I talk about the concept of Cannabis Culture and the misconceptions that may come with it in this episode of The Bodhi Bits Podcast.
The second part of my cannabis industry story is an interesting one. Though I wasn't able to go into full details on a lot of things, this shows how and why I got into the industry.
This episode is part 1 of my cannabis story. It covers what took place in my life that lead me to the industry and it's probably not what you think. Many strange things lining up in certain ways, makes me look back and realize, it was meant to be.

Today we will talk about cannabinoid delivery systems. No, I’m not talking about getting delivery from your local dispensary (if you live in a legal state) or calling your weed dealer. I’m talking about the different ways of delivering cannabinoids to your Endocannabinoid system.
It’s always good to know what different methods are available, as well as what benefits or downsides they may come with.

If you have not heard, a new law in Minnesota, which by the time you hear this will be in effect has legalized THC Edibles. There are some details, which is that they can’t contain more than 5mg per serving and no more than 50mg per package. Also, the THC must be derived from Hemp, which as you may remember is cannabis plants that contain less than .3% THC.
It’s not as great as legal recreational cannabis will be when Minnesota gets around to it, but the reason I’m calling this “The Minnesota Miracle” is because for once THE IGNORANCE OF POLITICIANS HAS FINALLY BENEFITTED US!
In this Episode we will take a deeper look at some of the more well known Cannabinoids that occur in Cannabis. Even though there are at least 144 that have currently been isolated, this is Cannabis 101, so we’ll stick to the basics… for now.

This episode is the first part of a series I will be making on the history of cannabis.
