A podcast about all things that matter. Join me as I navigate my own life as I begin my recovery journey from an eating disorder, whilst also sharing tips on self-care and self-discovery. Short episodes of 20-30 mins long, I'll cover all topics from self-love and health, to fashion and pet peeves!
Today I'm sharing a big update with you all on my recovery journey. A full circle moment. Going back to the hobbies I used to enjoy, the passions that used to excite me, before my ED took over. I'm learning that I can go back to those things, because my eating disorder doesn't get to take that away from me anymore. From playing hockey again, to writing, to dancing in the landing. Those things I couldn't do for so long because I couldn't. An eating disorder takes away not only your health or freedom to eat what you want, but also your sparkle, your passions, your creativty – your hobbies. I'm doing this not only for the person I am now, but for that girl who couldn't for so many years, and for the girl before who had those joys ripped away from her so suddenly.
This is your sign to reclaim your life. Take back what's yours. Forgive yourself for allowing that ED to take over (because it's not your fault). Start living life again for YOU.

In this episode, I’m diving into the messy, uncomfortable, but necessary topic of accountability. I talk about why it’s so hard for some of us to own up to our mistakes—especially when shame, fear, or ego gets in the way—and why real growth only happens when we stop deflecting and start getting honest with ourselves.
I also explore what it looks like when someone else messes up—maybe a partner, a friend, a family member—and you're the one left hurt. Do you shut down? Do you help them through it? And what happens when you start feeling responsible for their actions, too?
This is a vulnerable, real conversation about self-responsibility, emotional maturity, and letting go of accountability that doesn’t belong to you. Whether you struggle to say “I was wrong,” or you’re tired of carrying the emotional weight for others, this episode is for you.
Let’s talk about how to own our part—and leave the rest.
In this episode, I’m sitting down to talk about two things that have followed me for years: the pressure to “glow up” every summer and the toxic side of hustle culture that nearly burned me out in my early career.
As I start a brand new job in a brand new city, I’m choosing something radical – a new mindset. One that doesn’t revolve around self-critique, reinvention, or chasing someone else’s idea of success. I’m done trying to look different, act different, or work myself into the ground just to feel worthy.
From toxic routines disguised as “wellness” to jobs that expected me to give everything and still feel like it wasn’t enough — I’m unlearning it all. In this episode, we unpack how social media sells us the lie that we need to transform constantly, and how work isn’t your identity, no matter how much hustle culture says it is.
Whether you're feeling overwhelmed by summer body pressure, entering a new season of life, or just trying to figure out who you are without the noise — this one’s for you. You don’t need to glow up. You don’t need to prove anything. You just need to be.
🧠 Come for the honesty. Stay for the permission to slow down.

In this episode, I’m catching you up on life lately — the highs, the scary bits, and everything in between. I’ve officially left my job (!!) and for the first time in forever, I’ve given myself permission to just be. A whole month off work to chill, reset, and figure out what I actually enjoy doing when I’m not stuck in grind mode.
We talk about what it’s like to let go of structure, explore spontaneity, and unlearn the pressure to "recover perfectly" now that I finally have the time. Spoiler: recovery isn’t a productivity project, and rest isn’t something you have to earn. I also share how I’ve been swapping workouts for joy-based movement, trying new sports, and shifting the way I relate to rest and purpose.
If you’ve ever felt scared to slow down or unsure of who you are without your routine, this one’s for you.
🎧 Come for the life updates, stay for the honesty.
In this episode, I’m speaking honestly about something that’s been weighing heavy lately — the reality of mental health struggles in the workplace. From the pressure to always perform to the fear of not being “enough,” it’s easy to lose yourself in the chaos of trying to keep up. I share my personal experiences of burnout, what it feels like when your job starts to impact your self-worth, and the hard but necessary lesson of learning to let go of what you can’t control. If you’ve ever sat at your desk with tears in your eyes or felt like you’re just one more task away from breaking — this one’s for you. You’re not alone, and you never have to be.

For the perfectionists, the overthinkers, the ones who always need a plan — this episode is for you.
We're talking about what it really means to trust yourself, especially when you're in a season of uncertainty. Not knowing your next step doesn't mean you're failing. Wanting to rest doesn’t mean you’ve lost ambition. This month, we're ditching the pressure to glow-up, hustle, or fix ourselves — and instead choosing softness, stillness, and self-belief.
Expect real talk, gentle affirmations, and the reminder you might need right now: you're not behind. You're exactly where you're meant to be.

A new series: Life in Your 20s 🎉
I feel a little hypocritical, as I admit I'm only 21, but nonetheless I still think I've got some things to say!
Today I'm bringing you everything about friendships, particularly those we make in our 20s. The trend of "never be the coffee date friend" is showing up again and again on my FYP (not sure if it's a little niche, but you'll get the idea!).

Lately, life has felt… heavy. Between navigating a breakup, feeling completely burnt out, and struggling with the pressure tokeep going, I’ve had to take a step back and really ask myself—what do I actually need right now? In this episode, I’m getting real about slowing down, sitting with discomfort, and the messy reality of healing. I’ll also open up about my struggles with rest, the fear of relapse, and why I’m learning (the hard way) that recovery isn’t just aboutdoing more—sometimes, it’s about doing less. If you’re feeling stuck, exhausted, or just a little lost, this one’s for you 💛
January has felt like the longest month EVER! I'm back today to put all that shit aside and focus on what truly matters: me.
Going into a new month is always good - a clean, fresh start. Let's help each other through these times, and work on coming back stronger.
Remember the only thing you can control is YOU - your emotions, your reactions, and your words. Hold onto that, and let go of the need to control everything else.

Happy New Year!
It's a brand new year, and time to buckle down and get things done... and what I mean by this isn't your to do list, but rather working on yourself. And the first thing I'm going to be working on, and I hope you do too, is finding your independence. Whether you're introverted or extroverted, we can all do with a little more independence. Firstly, focus on your confidence - both internally with self-worth, and also externally and your effect on other people. Be confident, because who cares?! Show people what you're made of, and go out into the New Year smashing your goals and becoming the person you're dreaming of.

2024 has been a… different year. but all for good reasons. from dealing with quite a few relapses, to having the biggest comeback yet in my professional life, it’s been a whirlwind! here’s a little summary of everything i’ve learned:
🔅never be afraid to stand up for yourself
🔅self-care is the most productive thing you can do
🔅exercise should be a form of self-care, not a punishment
🔅learn to say let go of things that no longer serve you
🔅you have to put the work in; manifesting won’t get you there alone
🔅spending time with friends and family is the most magical feeling
🔅relationships can be hard; you have to put the work in there too
🔅saying no and implementing boundaries is the most powerful move you can do
🔅you are enough the way you are - never change for anybody ❤️

In this episode, I dive into the rise of fake eating disorder (ED) recovery accounts on social media. Inspired by Ro Mitchell and Emily Jane Fairs, who have spoken out about this issue, I discuss how many influencers portray their recovery journeys as healthy when, in reality, they’re continuing restrictive behaviors disguised as "wellness." These accounts often swap one form of control for another, focusing on clean eating and intense exercise, which can be incredibly harmful to their followers, especially those in early stages of recovery.
I explore how true recovery is about balance, food freedom, and self-compassion—not restriction or exercise obsession. While these influencers may not intend to cause harm, their content perpetuates a distorted view of recovery that keeps them and their audience trapped in a disordered mindset. Tune in as I unpack the dangers of following these accounts and discuss the importance of genuine recovery representation online.

In this episode of The Pepetoe Podcast, we take on important but often ignored topics: women's health, men's mental health, and the challenges athletes face with mental health, particularly during the winter months.
We discuss the obstacles women encounter in accessing reliable healthcare and the biases they may face from male healthcare providers. The conversation then shifts to men's mental health, emphasizing the need to break societal pressures that prevent men from seeking emotional support.
We also explore how the changing seasons, particularly during winter, affect mental health, delving into Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) and strategies for maintaining well-being. Finally, we cover mental health in sports, examining the pressures athletes face to perform at their best while managing their mental well-being.
This episode is a powerful discussion on how we can better support everyone in their pursuit of better health—on and off the field.
Today I'm exploring some of the most hyped wellness trends of 2024, in particular relation to the gym and wellness itself, with things like Greens, ACV gummies, creatine, supps, and protein shakes. Are they worth the hype, or are they a waste of money?

Stress is often seen as a mental or emotional issue, but its effects go far beyond just how we feel. When stress becomes chronic, it can impact nearly every part of the body, from the digestive system to heart health and even skin conditions. Over time, elevated stress levels can lead to physical ailments like headaches, muscle tension, and weakened immunity, leaving us more susceptible to illness. It can also contribute to serious long-term issues like heart disease, weight gain, sleep disorders, and hormonal imbalances.
This episode breaks down the many ways stress manifests physically, emotionally, and behaviorally. You'll learn about the hidden consequences of stress that we often overlook and discover practical strategies for reducing its impact. Whether it’s through mindfulness, better nutrition, or creating healthier boundaries, stress management is key to protecting both your mental and physical health. Understanding the holistic nature of stress is the first step toward long-term well-being.

With autumn in full swing, I’m taking this moment to reflect on how the season naturally encourages us to slow down. There’s something about the crisp air and falling leaves that makes me pause and think about the past year—what I’ve learned, what I’m ready to let go of, and what I want to carry forward. It feels like the perfect time to breathe, reflect, and make space for some inner peace.
In this episode, I’ll share why autumn always makes me feel like it’s okay to step back from the busyness and focus on the present. By slowing down, we can actually connect more deeply with what’s important in our lives. Whether it’s journaling, sipping tea, or simply enjoying a quiet walk, I’ve found that autumn provides the perfect backdrop to reset and recharge.
So join me as we dive into how this season of transition can help us embrace change and find balance in our everyday lives. Whether you’re reflecting on your own journey or just looking to enjoy the coziness that comes with fall, this episode is all about leaning into the warmth and wisdom that autumn brings.

In this episode, I get real about a recent experience at work where I hit what seemed like an insurmountable wall. On the surface, it felt like failure. But instead of seeing it as a defeat, I’ve come to realize it’s just another lesson on the journey to growth. We often label our challenges as failures when, in reality, they are stepping stones that push us to learn, adapt, and evolve.
Join me as I dive into the importance of reframing our mindset around setbacks and why it’s crucial to prioritize being in environments that nurture both personal and professional growth. I’ll share insights on how surrounding yourself with supportive people and fostering a growth-oriented atmosphere can turn what might feel like a dead end into an opportunity for development.

Letting go of things is super hard, but so is holding onto things. It drains you completely. It's difficult to learn that a person is no longer serving you, but letting go of them will do you so much good.
Over the past few months I've neglected self-care and thus productivity. By introducing a new-found morning routine, I've seen the increase in productivity, and mainly that having that hour or two by yourself in the morning really sets up for the day!

Do you find Christmas a struggle in ED recovery? A lot of us do. It's particularly hard when you see everyone else enjoying all the festive drinks, treats and dinners, and you still think you can't. Advice of the day is that you can! Christmas is a challenge, but we need to keep challenging ourselves EVERY SINGLE DAY in recovery, until we find it easy. But remember, there will always be those hard days and recovery isn't linear, we're all so different. Don't be so hard on yourself, either.
If you struggle at Christmas here's the episode for you!

Don't be so hard on yourself this new year. Sure, set some goals you want to work on, but also make sure you're doing them for you, no one else nor for a silly TikTok trend.

We all are guilty of self-sabotage: we often punish ourselves for things we have or haven't done, even going as far back as when we were little. How do we change this? Well, we work on ourselves. Every day. It's not easy - trust me, it's sooo not easy - but with time we get better at it. Learn your triggers, set your boundaries, and above all, focus on yourself. Prioritise yourself. Work on who you want to become, how and why. As soon as we have a better understanding of ourselves, we can then work on want we want to achieve in life. And this may change too. Life happens, things get in the way. If you want something bad enough, though, it will happen. You will make it happen. Only you have the power and control to make it happen!
winter time sucks, but it will only feel this way if we keep saying how bad it sucks. does that make sense? it's time to find the beauty in everything - focus on the good and positives of the world, instead of the sad, gloomy times.

today i'm talking about a realisation i had yesterday whilst on a train back from an event in London. i realised how far i had come in the last year. we put ourselves down so much and focus on extremely high expectations. we beat ourselves up if we fail. why? why do we put so much pressure on ourselves! let's change that narrative and be the ones to build ourselves back up. focus on the good in every day, and look back and see where you are now, it's different, isn't it? doesn't that feel good?
yours,
ellie x
Today's episode uncovers the importance of finding the things that you truly love to do, those hobbies that you haven't been able to do due to being at school and feeling judged for it. This is the time to do things for you, because you enjoy doing them. Don't jump on the bandwagon and do things, eg like running, that everyone else is doing. Do it for you!
Today's episode is a jumble - sorry in advance! I had a lot I need to get out, so this episode is more of me ranting to you (mid mental breakdown but that's ok)...
I hope you learn something from me today - whether that's advice on how to set boundaries, or doing things for yourself!

do you feel like you have no clue what you are supposed to be doing right now? same! every single one of us aged 18-25 feels like this, so don't get too worried about it. the best thing? stop comparing yourself. you'll get nowhere (absolutely nowhere) if you keep self-sabotaging. and, do things for you and only you :)

What's the scariest part of having an ED? No, it's not the gaining weight, nor eating carbs again. The scariest thing is knowing that if you don't change anything, if you don't choose recovery, you could be like this for a long time, or indefinitely. You could stay this ill for the rest of your life. And even scarier? The fact this if you stay like this, you're going to continue to hurt everyone around you.
For so long I didn't realise what I was doing was hurting my family, especially my parents. I didn't realise that until I chose recovery - because I didn't want to hurt them anymore. I didn't choose recovery for them, though. I chose to get better for me. Because I didn't want to stay that small and that ill forever. It was hard, but now 18 months into recovery, I'm stronger than ever, and so are my parents. We laugh and joke about the times I cried about eating, when now I could say I eat a lot more than them.
It's a scary time, eating disorders, but the scariest thing is staying that way forever.

I'm taking a year break from uni. Let's talk about it! Today I'm shedding some light on this topic, and reminding you not to conform to societal standards - do things for you and only you. It's totally ok to take time off. Your twenties are for figuring out what you want to do with life, so take this time and really think about it!

This week's episode is a heavy one. We all go through hardships in life, even people who seem to have their life all put together. Sometimes, we go through things and do not realise how much they affect us. I'm going through something major right now, and I haven't realised how much it has impacted my life. I've slipped down the rabbit hole of sadness - I've been faking smiles for a while now without knowing I was doing so. Realising you're not OK is hard, especially for those of us who are on this wellness journey (and have been for a while). But it's ok, it's normal, it happens. Embrace the low days, but don't run away from them. You need to learn, like I have just this week, that some things are harder to process than others. Be kind, patient and gentle with yourself and seek support where it's needed <3
UPDATE: THIS IS JUST THE BEGINNING EPISODES WILL NOW BE RELEASED WEEKLY ON SUNDAYS

today I talk about my thoughts on the next stage of my life. i have a whole year ahead of me away from education, for the first time in my life. it's scary, confusing, exciting and sad all at the same time, but i knew that taking a year out is the best thing for me and will help me find myself and my inner peace again. i also relate my experience of an eating disorder and choosing to recovery, with deciding to drop out of school (temporarily). this two things are the most important parts of my life so far, so relating them together has helped me to better understand what it is i am currently going through. ending chapters of our lives can be all too consuming and terrifying, but the important thing to remember is that you have time.
Today, I talk about what it means to belong. Belonging is an essential human trait, since the cavemen times. We all strive to belong and to fit in with a certain group of people, especially at school. The main message to take away from this episode is this: just be yourself and you will find people just like you. Strive to make friends with people who actually get you for who you are, not who you think you are supposed to be.

lots of love, Ellie <3

hi everyone, it's been a while since i've done a solo episode. i'm back today with all the latest about how i'm feeling (i'm not shining right now i'll tell you that!). in this episode i talk about my recent thoughts towards university and the potential dread of dropping out and completely changing up my life plans. dreams change and that's ok!!! i thought i wanted to be an academic and go to uni and study and travel and study languages etc ... but that was a dream that my 12 year old self created. things have drastically changed since then and so now I have to rethink everything. and that's scary. but i'm willing to put in the effort that my future me would want and my past self wishes she could have done.

We all deal with anxiety the day after a big night out. Over the years, I've taken on many different bits of advice from various people and sources about how to help quash that feeling of dread and guilt the next day. It's not an easy process, and I still get those thoughts creeping in the next day. However, I only feel that dread 1 out of 10 times of going out now, so I'd say that's a HUGE progress!
A very special episode today because I have my BEST FRIEND here with me! Nele is from Austria and is also an advocate for all things self-love and self-care. We share our thoughts on today's world and the importance of finding yourself, or what she calls your "inner peace".
A heads up: the first part of the episode has been rerecorded as we lost the original file :( which is sad because we had recorded it by the river in the sunshine outside in the park! It's still a beautiful episode so please listen all the way through (even though it's nearly an hour long! we just had too much to talk about!)
Also, this is a completely UNEDITED episode to truly harness our thoughts and creativity on this subject – so enjoy the added bloopers and laughter (we did sink a couple glasses of wine before the recording!)
And please please please go over to Nele's page Just Around The Corner https://just-around-the-corner.com/ to see what she's all about!

Hey guys! It's been a while, so a lot of this ep is a recap of the last month! I've definitely found my social side again and I couldn't be happier about it. Gaining weight and finding my true self in ED recovery has definitely allowed this to happen. Weight gain = gaining life back.
"If you gain weight from eating a normal amount and honouring your cravings, that was the weight you were meant to gain and the size your body is supposed to be"

today i open up about my current thoughts about my journey in ED recovery and it's a hard and heavy one but i wanted to get those feelings out there.
TW for those with an ed/also in recovery: it's a difficult subject to voice but i think it's important people understand that recovery is in no way linear and it is so so so difficult and that it takes WAY longer than you could imagine...
happy new year! wow it's been a while since I've released an episode!

we all struggle with academic burnout as we all put high expectations on ourselves to succeed in life and in academics. this spirals into losing motivation and the desire to procrastinate. but the reassuring thing is that we all deal with this. so how do we go about coping with this? i delve into this topic in this 20 minute episode, so have a listen and let me know what you think!

Now it a better time than any, given Taylor's new release of Midnights to join in on switching back to the 'come back era'. Let's work on ourselves for ourselves. Focus on giving out good energy in order to attract and receive good energy. Prioritise your mental + physical health. Work on confidence and more of a 'bad bitch' type attitude. Sounds ridiculous, sure, but you have to fake it 'til you make it. And, if you're having a bad day, that's ok. If you're not where you want to be with your life journey or life path yet, that's ok too. You will get there. We all have ups and downs in life: unfortunately, life isn't smooth sailing. We learn, we grow, we move on. Leave the past behind you, but also don't forget that your past holds a lot of power in teaching you valuable lessons to help you move forward in life. Enter your come back era with me and let's grow together!

today I talk about the winter blues – something which we all go through in the year is feeling 'sadder' or lacking motivation during the winter months. the lack of sun drains us and the darker, gloomier days often make us want to remain in bed and not tackle the day. here, i offer some tips to avoid the preempted winter blues (well, we can't really avoid them, but we can do out best to mitigate them + deal with them when they crop up).

hi, welcome back to TIJTB! today i'm talking about the change of season, the new month, and the goals i have for october/this year at uni to really manifest my dream life and "get back on track" with my mental health and resets! i hope these goals make you think about who you want to be/become this month, and recognise the fact that although october can be scary (starting a new term again) and sad (colder and darker days), it's a chance to be someone new, as is everyday and any point of the day.

hey guys! i'm back with another episode all about my recap from the summer and accepting that routine isn't everything. this summer has taught me so many lessons and i am so grateful to have experienced all the things i have. i have made countless memories and met so many wonderful people. this is a reminder to enjoy every day like it's your last. don't regret things that you haven't done or things that you have. live in the present and enjoy spending time with loved ones and don't worry about not being productive every day. you will get back on track. i have learned that routine isn't everything and that i actually prefer slower days and days where i don't know what's coming. it's exciting and thrilling and what keeps us living.

recently I have realised that something which i used to enjoy so so much – my childhood/high school sport – i no longer enjoy. it's taken me months to wrap my head around why this is the case, and why i have felt like there's so much pressure to carry on with it regardless. now i understand (after a long time) why this is the case: it just happens. we fall out of love with things that used to bring us so much joy and passion. now the sport i used to crave no longer serves me, and that's ok. it's time for a new start, a new chapter. i can use this time to now find a new hobby that brings me just as much if not more joy. it's an exciting time, yes it's sad, but also new and fresh! have you ever felt the same way?

The start of a new season can be daunting for a lot of people. I love September as it gives a chance to start over. I love Autumn as I can drink PSLs and watch Gilmore Girls and sit under cosy blankets and wear Uggs every day if I wanted to. However, a lot of people find new seasons hard, especially as the days are getting shorter and the weather is getting gloomier.
I want to start romanticising my life more. I also want to give myself permission more often to take things slower with no pressure. Moving back to my university town has sent a lot of anxiety my way and I am conflicted in what I want to do / get stuck into this year. I am taking my time and removing any pressure on myself to do what I think I should and instead do what I want to. This year will be different. I will enjoy this year and romanticise it to the max! There'll be no pressure on myself. Now I can walk into the city and get a PSL whenever I want to (or go to Spoons, but that's a different kind of night...). Join me and romanticise life with me as I pull myself out of my slump and anxious jitters of starting uni again.

sometimes we think we are on the right path and when we realise in fact we're not, it scares the royal sh** out of us. sometimes we think we know who we are, then something comes along and changes our mind completely. in today's episode i'm talking about all of this, and that it is ok to start over. failure is also a topic i cover: you might think you have "failed", when really that thing wasn't meant for you. starting over with something, anything, is daunting but at the same time it teaches us so much about ourselves and gives us another opportunity to grow :)

are you about to start university this year? are you nervous to be a "fresher"? do you feel like it's not really talked about enough? i'm here today to talk about all the pros and cons of university, especially as a fresher. i go into deep detail about my darker days at uni, but also shed light on the positives and share my experience as to explain why now (in a long winded process) that I am happy to be going into my second year and glad i didn't drop out, like i thought i would.
top tip: it's scary for EVERYONE, but you're all in the same boat :) enjoy it and let your hair down! first year is all about making friends and getting comfrtable with leaving home and becoming an adult, although a year later and i still feel like i'm 17!!!

another episode out this week all about giving yourself permission to restart. wherever you are at on your journey (mental, physical, spiritual and emotional), you are allowed to pause and take a few steps back to go on forward. it's ok to get frustrated at yourself when things don't go your way. but be proud of yourself for all those little milestones and achievements that may otherwise go unnoticed. you're doing so well, never forget that. keep pushing forwards and remember that there is always a positive in each day, it's just that some days you have to dig a little further to see it.

hey it's been so long but i've finally managed to get out an episode after the last few crazy ass weeks being home from uni and going on holidays!! today i'm talking about acceptance, travel, having a growth mindset, and learning that favouring solitude over camaraderie (or social time) is not always good, and that working on yourself is a whole new ball game when you've got to do that in the company of others. please enjoy, rate, review + share <3

hey, welcome back to yet another episode! today i'm rambling on (no surprise there) about how today i have thoroughly enjoyed the presence of other people and not thought twice about my own life and worries - it was basically just really refreshing to step outside my own bubble for a day. also i talk about being proud of yourself and congratulating yourself on your little daily wins, no matter how big or small. this is something as humans we don't ever do but i think it's time to start being more 'self-obsessed' if you like, and take pride in our own achievements instead of shunning them away and disregarding them!

hey guys, welcome back to another episode of This Is Just The Beginning! i'm back talking about diet culture and eating disorders once again – so TRIGGER WARNING in case of any one going through eating disorders/recovery right now, as i do get into quite deep diet-culture related things like calorie restriction and exercise addiction. please be mindful of that and only listen if you think you're ready/in a good stage right now <3! a lot of what i address is also just my opinion so please take it as lightly as you can and hopefully it educates you a little bit on the toxicity of the world of diet culture, fads and social media promoting these 'low cal recipes' and 'HIIT workouts that will help you lose twenty pounds!!' (because these things are so toxic and i promise you they won't help!!). enjoy and leave a rate & review. REMEMBER to please only listen if you think you are able to!! big love, ellie <3
hi! another episode this week all about spontaneity. nowadays, especially since the pandemic, spontaneity has kinda gone out the window. we all live in tight routines of 9-5 jobs or school, living under rules and structure. when was the last time you did something truly fun & so out of the blue? do something today, tomorrow to spice things up. whether that's go to a different coffee shop or take a different route home. doing these acts of spontaneity really do shake up your day and builds up serotonin and prevents life from feeling some mundane and boring (as we all know it can be from time to time!)

sorry for the ramble yet again! but today i'm talking all things YOU. what makes you so unique? and how to stop comparing to other people, and why we do it in the first place. try your best every day, that's worth more than anything else in this world. hope you enjoy!
welcome back for another episode here on This Is Just The Beginning! here's me rambling on (yet again lol) about the key to finding balance between social life and having time to prioritise you away from friends and other people. basically the whole concept of self-discovery. i touch on the advantages of journalling, yoga and mindfulness, as well as a brief mention of my past and current struggles with anorexia (so there's a TW for any of you out there that this episode could trigger). please don't listen to this podcast if it could upset you or bring up past experiences with anything ED related!!!
