Georgie and Pam first met Jordan Franklin at the Australian Crypto Convention in the Gold Coast, and her energy and passion for the web3 space is infectious.
We thoroughly enjoyed our conversation, and we could have sat down and spoken with Jordan all day.
We hope after listening to this youโll feel inspired, uplifted and more curious about web3 and crypto.
๐ Introducing Jordan Franklin
Jordan Franklin is the incredible Sister behind @the_happyspender on TikTok and Instagram. Her foray into web3 started with a 100-day learning journey on cryptocurrency, which she shared on TikTok. Before then, she knew nothing about cryptocurrency and since then has quit her corporate job to continue learning, sharing and building a community full time. Her passion is translating complex stuff into plain English. Jordan and co-Founder, Samantha Smith are developing an ed-tech platform called Dear Crypto. Their vision is for Dear Crypto to become the most inclusive, approachable and empowering educational community in web3. It's early days for Dear Crypto as they build a Minimum Viable Product under the mentorship of Blackbird VC, where they are entrepreneurs in residence under the Giants Cohort 5 program.
Jordan is passionate about education, start-up culture, community building, and maximising your Odyssey Years to find the thing that gives you drive and purpose.

Web3 is an opportunity, however, you have to bring what you have to it. People who wake up in the morning and have lost a lot of money (like I have done) the only person responsible for changing that, is you.
After first speaking with Pamela Kerr in one of our Twitter Spaces, we knew that we had to get her on the podcast - and it certainly didnโt disappoint.
We recorded this podcast only days before the FTX saga of last week, but after Pamela lost all of her retirement savings to a scam, this episode couldnโt be coming out at a perfect time.
๐ Introducing Pamela Kerr
Pamela immigrated to Australia 9 years ago after โsemi-retiringโ, having served as a Lawyer and a Detective in the Northern Ireland Police Force.
Pamela is an entrepreneur with three successful businesses and a demonstrated history of working in the consumer goods industry. Sheโs skilled in trend analysis, coaching, advertising, sales, and retail.
Pamela is a visionary and dream builder with a passion for the future and human beings.
โWho would have thought being scammed by a fake Gary Vaynerchuk would have fuelled my passion for Web3.โ
Pamela is the founder of the Corals NFT project, and she founded Virtual Horizons, managing NFT Artists whilst curating a gallery in the metaverse

๐ How was Pamela scammed by โGary Veeโ
๐ What transpired after Pamela spoke to the real Gary Vee
๐ The Web3 mindset Pamela adopts and the 4 words she repeats to herself in the mirror daily.
โKeep going, you are valuable to this world, and you still have a lot more to giveโ
๐ Key questions asked:
โญ๏ธ What advice would you give to people navigating through these market situations?
โญ๏ธ What does DYOR (do your own research) mean to you, and how do you go about it?
โญ๏ธ What do you tell your artists when they are having โimposter syndromeโ moments?
This episode was truly amazing, and we canโt wait to hear your thoughts.

I donโt want to be in a position in 16 years' time having the same conversations around โhow can we get more women into tech? It has to start now.

๐ Introducing Georgie Hubbard and Pam Caldwell
Georgie grew up in the UK in the city of Oxford with her parents and younger brother. Being surrounded by a family of entrepreneurs, she always knew she would start a business one day. Georgie was grateful to witness from an early age what determination, drive and ambition can achieve.
At 19, Georgie left home and flew to Greece to live and work, running a day spa for a popular UK travel company. A year on, Georgie got offered the opportunity to move to France with the same company and establish their day spa in the French Alps.
However, from a young age, Australia had always appealed to Georgie and at 23, she packed a rucksack and moved to the other side of the world to start the next chapter of her life. Georgie was ready for a career change, so I applied for a recruitment position at a well-established IT recruitment firm. Combining her sales and relationship-building skills, Georgie soon began to build an incredibly successful desk. With dreams of owning her own company still in mind, she decided the time was right to make that dream a reality and in 2018, started CH Solutions with her best friend and colleague, Pam Caldwell. Georgie currently has a team of 8, over 50 clients and have grown the business to over seven figures.
Georgie has witnessed first-hand the gender gap that exists in technology and is incredibly passionate to create systemic change starting with the impact of Sisterhood Club.
For Pam, life began in Glasgow, Scotland, where she started work at age 15, driven by an outstanding work ethic encouraged by her parents. She performed well at school and moved on to University, where she secured her Bachelor's Degree in History and Sociology. Post-uni life she accepted a position with a fantastic company, SThree, and landed her entry into the world of IT recruitment. Pam started as a rookie, moving on through the ranks to become a successful Senior Team Leader of 7 Consultants (the only female TL across nine offices in the UK at the time), where she coached 2 rookies through to become the 'top billers' across the UK business, whilst continuing to be a 'top biller' herself.
Pam moved to Australia in 2014 with a suitcase in hand, thinking sheโd only be a year, but sheโs never looked back since.
After working as a Recruitment Consultant in Australia, in 2018, Pam started CH Solutions. CH is a female-led tech and digital recruitment firm with a focus on growing trusted partnerships with its clients to deliver exceptional talent and expertise across the full talent management lifecycle. Pam operates with honesty and integrity at every turn and attributes these core values to the success and solid reputation I have established in the market.
Female empowerment, representation and encouraging women to push the boundaries in their own lives and not only find but use their voice, is something Pam has always been passionate about. Pam sees huge potential for women by entry into the world of Web 3.0 and through Sisterhood Club sheโs driven to create a brand that represents innovation and contributes to pushing the envelope of what is achievable in this ever-evolving space.

I struggled early on (in my career) to look up and find women I aspired to be like. When I was (at the law firm) there were 40 partners and only 2 of them were women. Even in business today my role is business development and I find it challenging because many of the decision makers I have to deal with are men.

Jessica believes every woman should have the right to be financially independent so that financial constraints do not restrict her self-expression, freedom, time with family and lifestyle.
Today Georgie sat down with the inspiring Jessica Zalums to speak about starting and growing an online business, building self-belief and confidence for ourselves and our children, plus how we can stay happy whilst still being hungry to succeed.

๐ Introducing Jessica Zalums
A few years ago, Jess was a working mum with a side hustle. She was burnt out, frustrated and felt worthy of earning more for her work.
Jess dreamt of a life where she could start her day at the beach, work off her phone, get paid more than her senior corporate role, travel and live her best life with her family based on HER rules.
Within 12 months of learning, growing and implementing, she was able to replace her corporate income (and she has since doubled it!)
Now she shows other women how to earn $10k+ months online without trading time for money.
Jessica works with driven, soulful career women or business owners who feel stuck, unfulfilled and worthy of earning more and unleashing more.
Jessica believes every woman has a zone of genius - talent, trait, story or skill - to gift to the world that can be monetised.
Jessica also believes every woman should have the right to be financially independent so that financial constraints do not restrict her self-expression, freedom, time with family and lifestyle.

I don't think I've ever met a person who has never experienced the feeling of "not enoughness"
In this weekโs episode, Georgie sat down with Rosie Leach, one of our Sisterhood School educators, to discuss self-love and confidence.
Want to be the first to know when a new episode drops? ๐ Subscribe๐ฏโโ๏ธ
๐ Introducing Rosie Leach
Rosie is a Self-Love and Happiness Coach ready to help you become the woman you have always wanted to be.
For 25 years, Rosie suffered silently with anxiety, her self-worth was as low as it could go, and she had a penchant for people-pleasing.
Rosie had ticked all of the metaphorical boxes of life (go to university, get a good job, get married etc.) yet still felt lost.
Although Rosie had the "perfect" life on the surface, she appeared happy to everyone else but inside, she wasn't alive.
She asked herself, โWhat was I doing wrong?โ
After some huge life events, Rosie finally found the courage to seek change and ask herself some serious questions. She began to tick the secret yet most life-changing box of all - self-love.
Self-love has not only saved Rosieโs life but has allowed her to finally live her life as the woman she always wanted to be.
It has allowed her to find out who she is, live by a set of values that feel good to her and remove the limitations she was putting on herself.
๐ In todayโs podcast
๐ Discover why Rosie is passionate about self-love and believes it is the key to happiness
๐ Why โshouldโ is the worst swear word we can say
๐ How to see ourselves as whole human beings, exactly the way we are, without anyone elseโs approval.
๐ What decisions can we choose to make if we find ourselves unhappy?
๐ Key questions asked:
โญ๏ธ Where did Rosieโs self-love journey begin, and what were some of the tools and strategies you used to love yourself?
โญ๏ธ What process did you go through to detach yourself from what society deemed the โperfect lifeโ and start to love yourself for who you were?
โญ๏ธ How can we help our younger generation feel like they are enough in a world where they're told they're not?
โญ๏ธ What are some habits, routines and tools you regularly use to help with your self-love and mindset?
โIf you squeeze an orange, you'll only get orange. What's inside is what will come out. Itโs the same with self-love and self-worth - if we have a feeling of contentment and peace, that is how we'll show up as a friend and as a parent.โ
Wow. What a conversation. Self-love truly is the foundation of our health and happiness. This is why we have included Rosieโs courses as a part of the Sisterhood School, which will be accessible by purchasing a Sisterhood Club NFT. First Edition enrolment is minting (launching) on 23rd September.

(Especially) In web3 and the tech world, as women, we need to boost each other up, we need to come together and make sure we help each other out. I think itโs our duty and privalidge to walk into this new web3 and NFT world, and be groundbreakers.
Vanessa, aka Veepo, is the artist and co-founder of Badass women, empowering women with mental health and wellness.
She is also a trained opera singer, voice teacher, mother, wife of WGMI.io co-founder @DeejayDezza, and most importantly, a Badass Woman.
Vanessa and Alyssaโs (the other co-creator of Badass Women) journey into NFTs was unique.
Their husbands, owners of WGMI.io (a personal NFT portfolio tracker), introduced them to the NFT world, and since then, they realised that by building an NFT community, they could make a real difference.
They created Badass Women to help fund breast cancer research with their art with 50% of the mint profit going back to fund breast cancer research.
Badass Women NFT also provides access to their Discord group, a place designed to offer community and support to all who need it. In their Discord, they have a variety of channels, including breast cancer support, mental health, and stress management.
Their motto: โWhen Badass Women come together, they can change the world.โ
โWe need to make sure we come together and help each other out, women are community-driven and nurturers; when we boost each other up, we all win.
That's why I love women in this space because they want to make an impact"
Throughout the podcast, we also spoke heavily about confidence; โYou have to look at yourself in the mirror and say, "I am a badass, and I can do this."
Here are a few questions and topics on todayโs episode:
๐ For women who want to start their own business or begin speaking up more, how can women gain more confidence?
๐ How being involved in an uplifting community can help you become the best you can be.
๐ The importance of putting yourself out of your comfort zone, focusing on progress over perfection.
๐ NFT projects building businesses. How are projects thinking about how to give value back to their holders? What does the project look like in 1 year, 5 years, or 10 years from now?
๐ How can everyone contribute to building the community they want to be a part of in Discord

The stigma of money has been fascinating around crypto; if people make too much money, it's talked about, and if people lose money, it's talked about.
But the technology backing it all (the blockchain) will create high-impact - specifically anything that requires records; there is currently too much loss and mess-ups.

One of the leading female voices in the space is Bec Smouha, an entrepreneur and founder of SuperBabesNFT club, a crypto-centred community made by women for women, based in Sydney, Australia. After initially having no interest in investing, Becโs boyfriend introduced her to the world of crypto and unlocked an entirely new world of opportunity. Now, Bec believes it's her duty to help empower and "gently guide" other women into the space.
Coming from a background in journalism and fashion, Bec transitioned into understanding the blockchain after seeing the power it can have on the transparency throughout the clothing supply chain.
Bec understands the benefits of getting into (the web3) space early - "it's an empowering place. Once you get here, you're inspired to be the best version of yourself."
โWeb2 is what can I get, web3 is what can I giveโ
This was a common theme and what drove the idea of SuperBabes NFT Club. "For someone who loves giving, that's what brings me joy and to see people become the best version of themselves."
Bec likes to do things called "getting out of your comfort zone" and believes that's where we can reach our true potential because that's where all of the great things have happened for her.
"Although we are in a bear market, now is the best time to jump in."
We couldn't agree more. We hope you enjoy today's episode.
Here are a few questions and topics we spoke about:
7:50 - What are the main goals of Superbabes and the main ways you're looking to give back?
12:45 - How are you overcoming obstacles to help more women enter Web3?
15:30 - Can you explain the importance of digital ownership and why we can't just screenshot a jpeg?
18:30 - What would you say to any females sitting on the fence regarding web3, investing, and NFTs?
25:05 - Have you got a favourite project you have invested in that you love the utility behind.
29:00 - How do you look after your health with everything you have going on in Web3?

Dajana has transitions from a web2 communication specialist to "I'm willing to learn everything I need to know to create an inclusive web3".
She highly believes in the shift from brand to community, ultimately building to ownership culture and decentralisation of data.
Before Web3, Dajana was in the Motor industry, where she experienced sexism every day, even though she didnโt have a word for it providing her with the fuel and passion to create change today!
Dajana, like all of us, started by not understanding what blockchain means. But the more she learned, the more she realised we could create real equality.
"Don't worry about this bear market because I'm a true believer that women will be the next bull market."
Dajana has seen a huge shift in women starting to connect, โIt's not the lure of money but a chance to change something; In Web3 we don't have these elbow techniques.โ
Like most early females into Web3, Dajana wasnโt a pleasant one.
โI had these experiences in Discord where men told me that I'm in the wrong place and that I should go back to playing Barbies and cooking in the kitchen. No one would help answer my โstupid questions.โ
However, our conversation with Dajana was an enjoyable one. We spoke about:
๐ What is a DOA
๐ How Dajana is bringing more Women into Web3 through her educational content
๐ The issues in diversity - not just in Web3.
๐ How blockchain can change the future.
๐ What does โownership cultureโ mean?
Plus a whole lot more.
We hope you enjoy this episode as much as we did.

Jessica Brodkin is the co-founder and creative director of the Mystical Muses NFT project. She is an MIT and Johns Hopkins graduate who worked at the CIA for eleven years before becoming a stand-up comedian and reiki healer in New York City. Her work has been featured in the NYPost, CNBC, SiriusXM, AMC, and TruTV.
In today's episode, we discussed what Web3 would do for the content creators and how to be early in the revolution before it cascades.
"We are at the ground level. NFTs are opening doors for creators and artists to innovate. It has been phenomenal to see."
We also mentioned some of the greater possibilities of NFTs to solve the world's problems. For example, every Mystical Muses NFT sold removes .2 tons of carbon from our atmosphere with the help of Nori, a carbon removal marketplace.
Jessica believes NFTs have many use cases, including ownership, membership, music and beyond just physical art.
We all agree that we want to see as many women grabbing seats at the table to create a web3 that is safe.
Jessica believes that some of the barriers to entry are:
๐ Systemic
๐ Having the confidence to ask!
We hope you enjoy today's episode and check out a couple of resources mentioned:

โCurrently, there are nearly 500,000 women over the age of 45 in Australia facing homeless. If youโre a single mother who rents, there is a 65% chance you will become homeless in your lifetimeโ
Want to be the first to know when a new episode drops? ๐
Hey SHC Community,
Welcome to this weekโs episode with Amy Efstathis on the Sisterhood Club Podcast. Amy is the Partnerships and Fundraising Manager for Code Like a Girl.
Code Like a Girl is a collective of women who found each other through a love of code. And the more women in tech they meet, the more women in tech they think there should be. But with only 16% of technologists being women*, they've come up short. That's why Code Like a Girl's social enterprise is on a mission to introduce women of all ages and backgrounds to code, confident that they'll love it as much as we do.
Amy is a passionate advocate for women and women's equity. Helping women to be the best people they can be and to have a say in their own lives.
She's been working for cause-related organisations for 15 years and when Code Like a Girl advertised the Fundraising and Partnerships Manager role, she jumped at it, knowing she was getting to work with "inspirational women every day."
Amyโs passion is driven by the following:
Staggering statistics around women getting left behind (across all areas)
The fact that half a million women in Australia over the age of 45 are facing homelessness.
โIf you're a single mother who rents and works part-time, there is a 65% chance that you will become homeless in your lifetime.โ
In the podcast, Amy explains that this is due to a myriad of reasons, including;
Women making certain career choices
Unaffordable housing
Superannuation
Putting care of others before themselves
โWomen have systemically been excluded from careers like technology, but this is where people's incomes are growing substantially and significantly.
"In technology, we need to fill 60,000 roles per year for the next few years. With only 7,000 people coming out of University each year, there is a massive gap in the market. Technology is a future-proof career to help women solidify their future economic state and ensure lifelong financial stability. However, we don't go into it because we're told: it's for boys, and it's entirely not".
The Technology industry is growing so fast that we have a talent drought; organisations are becoming more intelligent, more flexible and welcoming to women and diverse individuals because they realise it needs a more diverse talent pool.
The reason girls don't often move into technology is that caring is a traditionally feminine trait. โAfter all, little girls want to be someone - they fall into care careers because their first role model is usually their mothers or carers.โ Little girls embody the people they see around them in their play because it's usually their mother, grandmother and Aunties.
Recent advice from more prominent technology companies like AWS, ANZ, 99 Designs, and EY has said that "skills aren't as important as an attitude - but having the attitude of a lifelong learner is."
We finish the podcast by discussing the money that having a career in technology can provide.
"We get to live a life by our design if money isn't an issue - money gives us power and control over our own lives."
Our conversation on today's podcast was full of great topics and questions, including:
๐ What are the main barriers of entry to technology for women to enter technology jobs?
๐ What can mothers do if they have young girls to get them curious about coding?
๐ Why women don't need to be a "coder" to have a job in technology.
๐ What can businesses be doing to attract more females into technology?
๐ Advice for women looking for a new challenge or a career move into technology.
We hope you enjoy todayโs episode as much as we did.

Casey Iola is a Business, Instagram Coach and one of our incredible educators on the Sisterhood School. Her course Instagram for Business Academy has helped small business owners set themselves location and financially free by building an online income using Instagram.
On today's episode of the Sisterhood Club NFT podcast, we discussed:
๐About Casey๐
Before the start of 2020, Casey was working on cruise ships, travelling the world, and having a ball!
And then, the pandemic hit, and she had to return to Australia jobless and broke.
The idea of getting sucked back into a 9-5 job and not being able to travel terrified her! Casey knew she had to build a business online to have the freedom to go where she wanted, whenever she wanted, once it was safe to do so, of course.
So, during the lockdown, Casey spent hundreds of hours, and she means hundreds, learning everything she could about online businesses and how to use social media to grow a business online.
Not to mention the tens of thousands of dollars Casey spent on coaching, courses, personal development and sales training.
After months of learning, trial and error, successes, failures, tears and celebrations, she built my coaching business from the ground to 6 figures using only one platform...Instagram!
Eight months after starting her business, Casey bought and built my dream Mercedes van and spent the next few months travelling Australia in my home on wheels!
Two years in and she travels and lives between California, USA and Australia while teaching other businesses owners how to build their thriving businesses on Instagram
Casey has put together this Instagram For Business Academy to share everything she has learned on Instagram to save you time, a huge learning curve, a lot of stress & confusion, and to help you fast track your results to hit your goals, whatever they may be.
And to mention again, we are incredibly fortunate that Casey's course is a part of the Sisterhood School.
By owning a Sister NFT, you will also access Casey's course.

Juliette Brindak Blake is a Mum of 3 and the Co-Founder of Miss O Cool Girls NFT - celebrating girls and what it means to be a female of the future. How NFTs are creating value-led businesses.
"To bring more women and underrepresented groups into the world of Web3, we need to find something they can connect with.
...The more of these projects that come out with values that align with themselves is where the opportunity is for people to get involved."
About Miss O Cool Girls
The Miss O Cool Girls are a series of 10,000 randomly generated NFTs. Inspired by drawings Juliette Brindak Blake did when she was 10 and illustrated by co-founder Hermine Brindak, a mother-daughter duo, the Miss O Cool Girls celebrate that there is no one definition of what it means to be a girl. Featuring unique and diverse traits of young teen girls โ acne, braces, gap teeth โ the mission is to empower and build self-esteem in girls to offset how current media and social media consumption lead to toxic bullying and trolling and negative role models.
The rarest girls have the realest traits, and we love them so much for that.
Just a little bit of our conversation topics today:
2:05 - Backstory to Miss O Cool girls
5:40 - When did you identify how NFTs could elevate your business
10:10 - Building the Miss O Cool Girls community

"(Technology has) been such a bro club the last 15 years, and even more so now, so it's refreshing to see young women like yourself coming into this space. The cost of not doing so is greater than that of doing so. Let's talk about how exciting it is for women right now (to get into the Web3, Metaverse and NFT space)" Today it was an absolute privilege to sit down with Liza Boston, a Web 3.0 Venture Investor, Metaverse Entrepreneur, NFT Artist and Poet.
We discussed the importance of why we need to encourage more women to enter the world of web3 and how she feels just as passionate and energised as she did at the beginning of Web 2.0
Here is a snapshot of what we spoke about in today's episode:
Liza is an early stage, women-led VC Angel investor passionate about Web 3.0, NFT, DAO, Crypto, VR, XR, AI and gaming projects.
Liza is also an artist, poet, film-maker, storyteller, and passionate advocate for the creator economy. There has been no greater time in the history of the world to make more Art: art-making is a subversive political process; it is urgent and high on Lizaโs global agenda.
Liza has designed, founded, led and scaled high-tech, hi-growth companies and creative projects in Australia, the UK, the USA and the North Pole, where she also swam with a Walrus.
Liza is an innovation junkie and has her own suite of global technology patents, original songs and live performances.
Liza toured the world as the founder, CEO and Chairman of a revolutionary live music platform (Soundhalo), launched in London with a suite of top50 bands and broadcast live to 196 countries in real-time, from patent beta concept and spearheading a disruptive global operation to the delight of shareholders, fans, top 50 artists, labels, telco giants and consumer brand partners.

Rania Awad is a mother, wife, founder, and successful entrepreneur. Rania spent her first 11 years in a war zone in Lebanon in survival mode.
When the moment to leave arrived, she flew to Sydney. Landing in Australia, she couldn't believe it.
The first thought in her mind was, "gosh, tonight I'm just going to sleep, and I'm not going to be woken up by the sounds of bullets or bombs."
The early years were formative for Rania, and she developed an attitude of "what is the worst that could happen?"
Taking risks and dreaming big was something that didn't scare her.
At the age of 24, she started a Pharmacy and grew it into a well-respected multi-million dollar business.
She created one of the first-ever online pharmacies heading down the exciting e-commerce, technology, and digital path.
That business was acquired by Pharmacy-4-less, which she helped to take into the UK, US and China Markets, growing the company from zero to 16 million in 3 years.
Rania is now the CEO and founder of Digital Smoothie, a group of passionate creators and problem solvers in marketing, design, process optimisation, plus much more.
There are many great takeaways from today's conversation, and we know you will love it!
