Barbara Kuzara, visual artist, co-owner, and Gallery Director at On the Edge Contemporary Gallery in Tubac, AZ, and podcast co-host discovered a passion for monotype printmaking with Chine Colle, a technique using the addition of very thin papers during the printmaking process. Over the years she perfected the technique and discovered that this passion opened doors to new artistic opportunities including workshop teaching positions and a solo exhibition.

Time spent with Ansel Adams and his wife, Virginia in Yosemite had a huge impact and influence on her work and her use of black and white as her painting palette. Eventually landing in Tubac, AZ, she built a simple block home without heat or a kitchen that was also her studio and gallery. Choosing the creative life over luxury, this determined woman persevered to create a life filled with art.
