Today, we invite director Omar Shakir from the Human Rights Watch to talk about Israel and Palestine. Director Shakir is an Israel and Palestine director for Human Rights Watch. His main work is to investigate and report human rights abuses in Israel, The West Bank, and Gaza. And to our listeners at Occidental, he'll visit our campus on March 6, 2024 to give us a talk titled: "Reporting on Rights violations: Israel, Palestine, and Beyond."
