TEXT: Isaiah 6
Do you know that sometimes we inadvertently get used to God? We know that God is God and God is good, but we sometimes forget the nature and power of the God in question.
The description of the presence of God in Isaiah 6 reminds us of the God that we love and call on; the Seraphim, the smoke, the worship, the shaking. If we can but behold the atmosphere in which our God dwells, then we would truly rest and hold our peace when we read the scripture that says "Be Still and know that I am God.

Walking with God requires FAITH.
Today, the Holy Spirit is teaching us to recognize His voice when He speaks to us. Without faith, the bible says it is impossible to please God. Subsequently, we can say that without faith it is impossible to work or walk with God. When you have faith, it becomes easier to obey an instruction of a command.

Have you ever lost something that was precious to you? Have you ever been in a situation when you felt abandoned and rejected?
There was a certain man in the bible, his name was Job. He loved God with all his heart. God loved him so much, and never took His eyes off him for a second. Job lost all he had. Everything. Yet God was with him.
Often times, when we go through tough times, we feel forgotten and abandoned. But can God ever forget us? No, never.

Today, we are reminded that our God is a good God who restores us back to Himself, even when we do not feel worthy of it.
One of the tricks of the enemy is to keep you staunched with the idea that God is angry with you because we could not meet up with an instruction or an assignment. But God does not deal with us according to our shortcomings. He knows that we are mere mortals, and He is always willing to help us, if we reach out to Him.

Losing something that we hold dear to our hearts is never fun. But knowing that God is able to restore whatever we might have lost, gives us the peace that is needed to bear the pain of a loss.
In today's teaching, we are encouraged to trust God, even when things seem bleak, and there is no hope in sight. Know that God is working on the back-end of the situation, and in His own time, it will all make sense to you.

This is one of the most popular Bible passages. Psalm 23.
I remember learning to speak this Psalm as a child. My mom made sure that we learnt it in our formative years, and need I say that it laced an awesome foundation for us as children.
Knowing that the Lord is your shepherd, whether it be morning, noon, or night, is the greatest assurance there is.
Rest in this knowledge and walk in this understanding. It will bring you peace.

It's getting harder by the day to hear sermons of holiness and living right, yet it must be preached. God has called us out to live according to His likeness in righteousness and purity of the truth.
It can be challenging at times, to not get entangled in the way and standards of the world, but knowing where to draw the line is critical when walking with God. The bible says that "...friendship with the world is enmity with God." - James 4:4. We are called to a new life, so that the world will see God in us, and not the other way round.

In this episode, the Holy Spirit teaches us the invisible attributes of God; His divine nature which is made known to man, but which man has walked away from.
We are encouraged to speak the truth of God’s word because applauding those who practice such detestable acts will also incur the wrath of God.

God called Moses and sent him to free His people from the hands of the Egyptians and lead them into a land that He had promised their fathers. Moses questioned God for the responses he would give if he himself was questioned.
In like manner, God has called many of His children to do one task or another, and in many cases, we begin to doubt, question God, or sometimes may become too afraid, or feel unqualified to take on the tasks set before us. In today's reading, God is reminding us His name.
