This is our last episode in this series, **"Fellowship" with Pst. Varney Qualah.

The Church is at present a colony of Heaven, with the responsibility for bringing the life and rule of Heaven to bear on earth. - NT Wright**

Every now and then we all become aware of how the church is bigger than the building we gather at. Mine greatest experience was in 2019 when I began worshiping at The Sanctuary Church in Colorado Springs. Dr. Eric Sanders always asked, “What If church isn’t where you go but who you are? Those words have never stop challenging me of what Church is. But that doesn’t take away the relevancy of building gathering because it provides accountability and so much more for us.

We talked about fellowship beyond walls in today’s episode. You hope this is helpful.

Too often today would you hear someone say, “It’s just me and Jesus.” There may be some truths to the statement, but its not entirely true. In-as-much-as our relation with Jesus is personal it is not private.  ‘’Followers Of Jesus” doesn’t mean a collection of isolated individuals all following their own road to spiritual growth without much connection to one another. I mean, the fact that we are a body should mean that we function together despite our individual differences.

We talk a little about being a part of a community in today’s episode.

We continue our conversation with Pst. Varney from Life Church-Liberia. When Paul entered a city, the people there had likely never thought of living in the way that he introduced them to living: It is sad to know that many people don’t even know if you can choose a fellowship only because they’ve never had to. For few reasons; they were brought there by parents, friends or knows the pastor. Fellowship should be a place that introduce you to the Jesus kind of living.

Today’s episode is a continuation of our previous episode. As I’ve followed Jesus, I’ve learned that disagreement is not the sign of an unhealthy fellowship except a manipulative or controlling one which also is a form of witchcraft. Infact, we have records of several disagreements in scriptures so much that at one point in Corinth concerning communion, Paul indicates that it’s necessary. (1 Corinthians 11:19).

The sign of a heathy fellowship should be commitment in spite of disagreements. We explore a little bit of this roadblock in fellowship.

For some of us, Fellowship may mean a place that we belong to for a lifetime. But this isn't the case for everybody. Many followers of Jesus must walk away from their fellowship. But even though there  is no law that forbids leaving one fellowship, we must be honest to evaluate both why we want to leave or stay.

From our previous episode, Pastor Varney recommended "Fellowship" as a major first step to following Jesus. But there is a sad reality which also isn't a secret and that is Jesus Followers do not make perfect communities when they gather. Whether for the first or the Twenty-first century followers of Jesus, this creates many challenges for fellowship. A few would be:
Some resists it (Because people are selfish), others resigns from it (Because they've been hurt too many times) or sometimes just condemns the very essence of it. So then the question is what do we do with fellowship since its major to our journey of following Jesus?

Honestly, we didn't even scratch the surface in this episode, but you will sure have a lot to ponder after listening.

Also, we did strike some chords that sound intense, but make sure to give us feedback about your experience.

While I was in Liberia visiting my family, I had the privilege to sit with our Pastor over at his house and interviewed him about his journey of following Jesus and what recommendations will he give to followers of Jesus. In this episode, he recommends "FELLOWSHIP" as the first step for those beginning their journey of following Jesus.
