Emma is on a mission to get grief spoken about in a more open and less awkward way. You will hear her story and experiences when dealing with grief as well as some incredible guests sharing there stories around loss. The purpose of this podcast is to provide some sort of comfort to those who have lost a loved one or are supporting someone that has lost a loved one and allow them not to feel alone in there thoughts or feelings. Episodes are released every other Monday. Together we can make grief a more open and less awkward subject to talk about.

Alice & I connected through the Talk About Loss Facebook page, we have a very similar story but alice has more than 1 grief story to share today.
In this episode we laugh, we get deep, we relate on so many levels and it was really nice to have Alice join me for a chat and im glad you guys can listen in on that. We talk about losing parents and how it changes us in our adult life, we talk about the shock of sudden death, grief anxiety and the impact pets can have on our grieving journey. In this weeks episode i am joined by Susie Bell also known as @Ensusiasm.
Susie & I connected through Instagram a couple of years ago. She brings joy and positivity to all her social media platforms.
Susie lost her best friend by suicide at a very young age. In this episode, she talks about the day it happened and how it has impacted her way of life. She shares her experience so open and honestly and it was a pleasure to talk about her best memories with her best friend and spread awareness on suicide.

In todays episode i am joined by my sister Danielle. We discuss the day our mum died and how it has changed Danielle as a person today, we talk about becoming a mum without your mum and share very happy memories, lots of smiles and laughs so i hope this episode can bring you some sort of comfort. Danielle shares her advice for anyone grieving and also shares her views on me sharing our story with the world so publicly through the Girl with Grief platform.
This episode is to raise awareness around grief affecting your mental health, anxiety and relationships.
In this episode i delve deeper into my story and share the reality of life after losing a parent at such a young age.

Hey, Hi, Hello, Im Emma a pretty average 25 year old, who works a standard 9-5 but i am someone thats on a mission to get grief spoken about in a more open and less awkward way. I suddenly lost my mum 10 and a half years ago at the young age of 15. She collapsed one morning and suffered a cardiac arrest, take a listen to find out what caused this. The girl with grief is a platform for me to share my story, experience and feelings when living with grief. I want to be able to help others that have been through the loss of a loved one and allow them to be able to talk about their emotions openly and not struggle alone.
