Our podcast focuses on sharing the unforced rhythms of the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ with everyone who is tired of religion.
When God’s blessings are evident in your life, they look like:
Like the psalmist prayed:
“Let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us; and establish the work of our hands upon us.” (Ps. 90:17)
We pray:
The beauty and glory of the Lord is on me and in me. He has established the work of my hand.
When God’s blessing rests on your hands, ordinary work produces extraordinary results.
Conclusion
The Word of God sets a divine flow for life:
What you hear enters your heart.
What you see becomes your vision.
What your heart holds shapes your mouth.
What your mouth speaks directs your steps.
Where your feet walk leads to what your hands will prosper in.
Psalm 1 reminds us: the blessed man chooses his ears, eyes, heart, mouth, and steps carefully—and
the result is a life that flourishes like a well-watered tree.
This is the flow of a blessed life.
The question: How do I take advantage of what is mine?
First by recognising that the blessings of God is not something you inherit by virtue of any
meritorious act on your part. It is a gift from God the moment you become born again.
Second, know that though it is your inheritance, walking in it requires your co-operation. It is
not everything that God desires that He gets. For example: God’s desire is that all be saved (
1 Tim 2:4) but not all are saved. Why? Because of the response to the grace freely given by
God. God’s grace makes all things available but our response is crucial on how we enjoy
what God has freely given
Third, God functions by principles – and these principles, known, learnt and applied are what
makes one person enjoys God and the other may not. God is constant in both situations but
the response from each individual to his grace is crucial.
Take Heed How You Hear
Jesus warned: “Take heed how you hear” (Luke 8:18). The “how” speaks of the lens—the paradigm—through which a person hears. This paradigm determines what meaning you draw out of God’s Word and even life’s situations.
How Paradigms Are Formed
No one is born with a fully developed belief system. Our paradigms are shaped over time by:
•Life experiences (pleasant or painful),
•The words and actions of authority figures (parents, teachers, pastors),
•Our interpretation of lived events (what we think those events “mean”),
•Personal choices and the need to protect ourselves from harm.
The mind, seeking safety, often chooses the path of least resistance. When repeated, that choice forms a belief. Over time, every decision made in line with that belief strengthens it—until the belief itself becomes a prison.
Now notice verse 25 of Mark 4 and verse 18 of Luke 8 aresaying exactly the same thing which is: the inclination of your heart is whatdetermines the extent to which the word of God is revealed to you.
This means there is a responsibility on my part to inclinemy heart to what the word of God says. This means the attitude I have towardsthe word of God makes it reveal itself more to me.
If I approach the word of God like we approach the word of adoctor when we are sick or that of a lawyer when we have an impending case incourt, the word of God will open up to us.
What attitude should that be? The attitude that says theWord of God is the final authority or north star in my life.
A rebellious attitude to life never produces a winningoutcome in life.
Introduction
Maxim to remember: Authority not enforced, is authority wasted.”
Opening thought:
“We are of God.” A simple phrase. But it carries the weight of heaven.
What does it mean to belong to God—not just as an idea, but as an identity?
Purpose of message:
To remind believers of their true identity in Christ and the transformational power of living from that truth.
Christ will rescue believers from the wrath to come. This is important
because later Paul talks about the destruction that will occur in the fifth
chapter, when he wrote,
While they are saying, “Peace and safety!” then destruction will come upon
them suddenly like labor pains upon a woman with child, and they will not
escape. 1 Thessalonians 5:3 (NASB)
Your heart is the most important part of your being. It is the source of your life and it determines your life experiences. It is your duty to guard, protect or watch over your own heart - no one will do it for you.
The Trap of the Lie
When someone believes, “I am incapable,” even though it’s a lie, it becomes functionally true for them. Not because it's factually true, but because they’ve agreed with it.
A lie believed becomes a lived reality.
This is where John 8:32 comes in with laser precision:
“Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
"Religion will always keep you performing. Grace invites you to rest."
Lay down the scorecard, the guilt, the striving. Pick up your sonship.
1 Pet 2:10: Once you were not a people [at all], but now you are God’s people; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.
2 Cor 4:1: Therefore, since we have this ministry, just as we received mercy [from God, granting us salvation, opportunities, and blessings], we do not get discouraged nor lose our motivation.
My declaration would be:
I am now God’s child and I have received mercy from the Lord. I walk with a conscious awareness of the mercy of God over my life.
1 Cor 6:11 AMP/AMPC:
And such were some of you [before you believed]. But you were washed [by the atoning sacrifice of Christ], you were sanctified [set apart for God, and made holy], you were justified [declared free of guilt] in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the [Holy] Spirit of our God [the source of the believer’s new life and changed behavior].
What is Religion?
Religion is man’s attempt to impress God. Jesus didn’t die to make you religious—He died to make you alive in Him.
Religion can be defined as man’s attempt to impress God. It is an attitude that says, “I can make something of myself, I can earn God’s favor.”
Although it may lead to good works, the religious mindset is fatally opposed to grace of God.
Religion is a form of bondage that causes a man to stand when he should bow and to strut when he should kneel. Worst of all, religious makes him see himself as a co-savior. A religious man may have sincere motives, but he is an idol-worshipper.
Jesus didn’t suffer and die to make you religious. He died to give you a new life – his life. Anything that pretends to be a substitute for the thrill of knowing him – of trusting him, being with him, and walking with him – should be rejected as inferior.
“Have you ever followed all the spiritual rules, done everything you thought you were supposed to do… and still felt far from God?
Today we’re asking one powerful question: Are you living by rules or by relationship?
Let’s look at 7 signs that you might be more religious than you realize—and how Jesus came to free us from that trap – this is likely going to be done over 2 Sundays because of the communion we have today.
Let’s start:

Theme Scripture:
“I pray with great faith for you, because I’m fully convinced that the One who began this gracious work in you will faithfully continue the process of maturing you until the unveiling of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

Introduction: A Word for the Weary Dreamer
This is a message for:
Yes, there is.
Because what God starts, He finishes.
Call to Action / Ministry Moment
Lay aside every burden of performance and effort.
Believe again in the sufficiency of Christ’s sacrifice and His faith in you.
Pray for healing, provision, and peace—not in desperation, but in restful confidence.
Declare over yourself: I am complete in Him. I have received the greatest miracle—righteousness by faith.
Main Scriptures: Galatians 3:5–6,Colossians 2:6–10, Romans 8:32, Acts 9:17; Acts 10:44–45, Galatians 3:22
Too often, we’vemade receiving from God a religious process filled with striving andperformance.
Many believersdisqualify themselves from God's blessings, thinking they lack faith.
But faith isnot something we manufacture; it's the gift of God given at the new birth.
Romans 12:3reminds us that God has dealt to every man the measure of faith.
3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that isamong you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but tothink soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure offaith.
When did Goddeal with every man the measure of faith – and what is this measure of faith?
First, let’sdefine what the word “measure” means. The word “measure” is from the Greek word“metron” and it is a noun: avessel for receiving and determining the quantity of things, whether dry orliquid or a graduated staff for measuring, a measuring rod.
What is the measure of our faith?
The answer is in Ephesians 2: 8.
For by grace are ye saved through faith, and that not ofyourselves: it is the gift of God—
This means thefaith that saved you is the gift of God. It is from God. That is the measure offaith you were given at salvation
So, the extent of your faith is the extent of the faith of God.
Your faith at salvation is from God. The due or required measure of yourfaith is that of God.
This message is for you if you have ever been lied against by the people you trust or abandoned by the love of your life. This message is for you if you have been vilified, humiliated as part of a corporate or social vendetta. The humiliation is real. The pain is tangible. This is for someone who is crying and shouting with the mouths closed. This is for someone who carries a burden and bent over but no physical luggage is seen.
God has sent me here to tell you that you may be alone physically but you don’t have to be lonely.
I want you to consider a situation or a time in your life when you have felt alone. Perhaps an injustice was done against you. Perhaps you felt like you did not have a voice to speak. How did you feel during these times? What would you rather be involved in at that moment?
God sent this message to you to encourage you.
Psalm 89:13-15 AMPC
13 You have a mighty arm; strong isYour hand, Your right hand is soaring high.
14 Righteousness and justice are thefoundation of Your throne; mercy and loving-kindness and truthgo before Your face.
15 Blessed (happy, fortunate, to beenvied) are the people who know the joyful sound [who understand and appreciate the spiritual blessings symbolized by the feasts]; they walk, O Lord, in thelight and favor of Your countenance!
V14 says:
Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne;mercy and loving-kindness and truth go before Your face.
So when we approach the throne of God, we must have arighteousness consciousness and we must know that God is a God of justice.
mercy and loving-kindness and truth go before Your face.
What does it mean for something to “go before your face”?
This phrase means attendants that walk before someone.
So as you approach the king, you assume automatically thatyou have come before the presence of a king that you will receive mercy, loving kindness and truth.
NLT describes this as Unfailing love and truth walk beforeyou as attendants.
So when we come before the throne of grace, we should expectthis attitude from God.
Abraham understood this when he interceded for Sodom &Gomorrah in Gen 18. In Gen 18, Abraham pleaded for the people of Sodom & Gomorrah before God laying claim to the justice and righteousness of God (the two pillars of God’s throne)
Part 3 – The Boldness of Righteousness
Abraham was the first recorded prophet in the Bible. God Himself called him so. He prayed over Abimelech and his entire family was saved from barrenness in Gen 20.
Today we want to look at how righteousness consciousness empowered or emboldened Abraham to pray for Sodom and Gomorrah!
Background
Imagine you live in a beautiful city – a place where everyone all over the world on paper wishes to live because of its exquisite architecture and facilities but there is one problem. There is no law here or a functioning justice system. You could do whatever you like and no-one would hold you to account. For instance, you could kidnap your neighbour’s child and no one will bat an eyelid – and worse the law enforcement officers will not carry out any arrest. And in the few occasions where any arrests were made, the judges always never convicts anyone.
Would you love to live in a country like that? Would you be able to sleep a night? Would you invite your loved ones to come live there?
If you are in it, would you want to stay?
If an opportunity shows up for you to leave, would you not grab with two hands?
Now this story I just described was not made up. Once upon a time, there were two cities named Sodom and Gomorrah and the Bible described them as a city filled with wickedness – no law and order and their behaviours were so vile that God Himself had to come and check out what was going on there.
So, God as the righteous Judge can’t allow this wickedness to continue. He had to do something about it. He had to right the wrong so He sent angels to go and visit the place disguised as humans and bring Him a first hand report. On their way, God stopped over at Abraham’s house and Abraham entertained God. It was like 2 friends having a nice time together. It was during this fellowship together that God reiterated to Abraham that within the next 1 year, Abaham would give birth to Isaac. God also changed the name of Abraham and Sarah.
Now as God and the angels were leaving, God had a conversation with Abraham – and which is the basis of our text today.
Gen 18:16-25
16 Then the men got up from there, and looked toward Sodom; and Abraham walked with them to send them on the way. 17 The Lord said, “Shall I keep secret from Abraham [My friend and servant] what I am going to do, 18 since Abraham [g]is destined to become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth will be blessed through him? 19 For I have known (chosen, acknowledged) him [as My own], so that he may teach and command his children and [the sons of] his household after him to keep the way of the Lord by doing what is righteous and just, so that the Lord may bring upon Abraham what He has promised him.” 20 And the Lord said, “The outcry [of the sin] of Sodom and Gomorrah is indeed great, and their sin is exceedingly grave. 21 I will go down now, and see whether they have acted [as vilely and wickedly] as the outcry which has come to Me [indicates]; and if not, I will know.”
22 Now the [two] men (angelic beings) turned away from there and went toward Sodom, but Abraham remained standing before the Lord. 23 Abraham approached [the Lord] and said, “Will You really sweep away the righteous (those who do right) with the wicked (those who do evil)? 24 Suppose there are fifty righteous [people] within the city; will You really sweep it away and not spare it for the sake of the fifty righteous who are in it? 25 Far be it from You to do [h]such a thing—to strike the righteous with the wicked, so that the righteous and the wicked are treated alike. Far be it from You! Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right [by executing just and righteous judgment]?”
We have not meditated enough on what it means to be “made” righteous. If we do, the way we pray or even relate to God would be different. In 2 Cor 5:21, the phrase “made righteous” is from the Greek word “gimomai” - and it is a derivative of the English language word “gene”. Since in human context, a child’s gender is dermined by the “gene” of the father, so the believer’s spiritual gender is determined by the “gene” of God.
If your spiritual gene is from God and God is righteous, then it should not be difficult to believe that righteousness is the spiritual gene of the believer. We should never have to have a debate about this or engage in mindless argument. To believe otherwise will lead to spiritual confusion or spiritual gender dysphoria.
So, when I hear someone say that a believer is a sinner, they have not believed this truth. Let me show you another scripture in 1 John 3:9. It says: “No one born (begotten) of God [deliberately, knowingly, and habitually] practices sin, for God's nature abides in him [His principle of life, the divine sperm, remains permanently within him]; and he cannot practice sinning because he is born (begotten) of God.”
1 John 3:9 AMPC
The divine sperm determines the gene of the child. God’s divine sperm is righteous and holy - and that is what He transferred to the believer at spiritual conception. Such a person can’t practice sin. Why? The nature of God permanently abides in him.
Rom 5:1 TPT affirms this truth:
“Our faith in Jesus transfers God’s righteousness to us and he now declares us flawless in his eyes. This means we can now enjoy true and lasting peace with God, all because of what our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One, has done for us.”
A believer’s identity is not that of sin. How could it be when he has been born of God? Except we are saying God is a sinner! God forbid! It is a travesty to even have long conversations about this.
If you think you are a sinner or a believer who still has a sin nature, you have not believed the scriptures. Religion has convinced us that when we are born again, we are not really made new. We’re just a “forgiven version” of the same old person. Then, they go as far as to say that despite the promise of a new heart and spirit, we maintain our old nature alongside what God does in us. Therefore, we don’t have a completely new nature; we now have a dual nature: our old sinful nature exists alongside a new nature in Christ. This sets our entire journey with Jesus off course. It means the rest of our life on earth is spent in a struggle between the two natures. That is like someone suffering from MPD (Multiple Personality Disorder)
A christian is not revamped in heart and spirit but totally brand new. In the new birth, God doesn’t clean our spirit and heart; He makes us new, i.e., a new creation. "New Creation" is "Kainos Ktisis" in Greek and means a creation "not found exactly like this before." or “never been seen before in the history of the universe." Or “superior to what it succeeds" The Greek word used to describe the new creation is like the same way God created the heavens and the earth from nothing in Gen 1:1.
The Boldness of Righteousness
Proverbs 28:1:
A wicked person runs away even when nobody is chasing him. But a righteous person is as brave as a lion.
What does it mean to be righteous and how does righteousness make us bold or confident? How does it make us confident especially in the place of prayers – that is what we are looking at today!
“How 10 Spies Doomed a Generation”
Key Text: Numbers 13–14
I. INTRODUCTION – “The Voice that Shifted History”
Hook Story:
Imagine standing at the edge of your lifelong dream. House keys in yourhand. Everything you prayed for just within reach. But then… a few trustedvoices say, “You’re not ready. You’ll fail. It’s too risky.” You believethem—and walk away.
That’s what happened in Numbers 13. Ten spies’ fearfulperspective infected millions. One generation died in the wilderness—neverentering what God had promised.
Big Idea: What you believe—and what you say—caneither activate or abort destiny.
II. THE RECON MISSION – “God Sends, We See” (Numbers13:1–25)
Biblical Setup:
Modern Parallel Story:
A startup founder gets green-lit for funding. She sees the opportunity—buther team only sees market threats. “What if we fail?” “What if the competitioneats us alive?” Fear spreads. She pulls out. A year later, another companybuilds the same product—now worth millions.
Takeaway:
God may open doors—but how you see the opportunity determines if you’llwalk through.
Action Point:
Ask yourself: When God shows me a promise, do I evaluate with faith or withfear?
Dt 1:20-25
Psalm 106:21-25
Heb 3:10-14, 19
Hebrews 4:1-2, 11
Summary
Finally, Remember the woman with the issue of blood? Why was she healed? Because she said in her heart “If I touch the hem of His garment, I will be made whole” but have you wondered why that faith came from? It was because of what she had heard about Jesus!
Mark 5:24-34: 25And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years, 26and had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse, 27when she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment. 28For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole. 29And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague. 30And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes? 31And his disciples said unto him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me? 32And he looked round about to see her that had done this thing. 33But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth. 34And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.
What is the first result that the word of God produces? It builds faith in the hearer – as a seed planted in the heart but to produce fail-safe results, it must be heard but it must be heard over and over.
How to make your words empower your expectations.
Proverbs 23:18: Surely there is a future [and a reward], Andyour hope and expectation will not be cut off.
The word “expectation” is from the Hebrew Word “tik-vaw” literallymeans a cord (as an attachment or figuratively means expectancy, hope, live, thing that I long for.
1) cord
2) hope, expectation
2a) hope
2b) ground of hope
2c) things hoped for, outcome
What you long for serves as a cord that is attached to you.It is an outcome that you hoped for. God expects us to have a positiveexpectation.
A positive expectation is called “hope” and a negative oneis called “pessimism” which leads to doubt.
Let’s start with negative expectations.
This is how it works:
· Negative expectations often manifest frompessimism and doubt.
· These doubts lead to hesitancy because theycreate “failure scenarios” in your mind.
· You expect to fail, and therefore all your decisions and actions willundoubtedly lead you away from your goals and towards failure and mistakes.
· Decisions and actions are premised from thoughts(what you decided in your mind that formed a belief of your heart) and theactions you take on the back of your decision.
· Pessimism + doubt = hesitancy + failure scenarios= negative expectations
· Negative expectations produce decisions andactions that push the goals away into failures and mistakes.
I declare over your life that:
· The Lord your God has set you high above all your contemporaries. His gift in you shall cause you to flourish everywhere you go in Jesus name
· Only blessings are allowed in your life. These blessings are for you and for your children even those yet unborn in the name of Jesus:
· You are blessed in the city and you are blessed in the field.
· Your body is blessed and fruitful
· Your ground is blessed and fruitful
· Your enterprise yields intergenerational blessings in the name of Jesus
· Your workforce and every tool you need to work for you are blessed in the name of Jesus
· You are blessed in your storehouses, bank accounts and investment vehicles
· Your kitchen is blessed and your household is blessed
· You are blessed coming in and blessed when you go out
· You are blessed in your journeys and you are blessed when you are at home
· You are blessed everywhere you go for the blessing of the Lord is your shield
· Every enemy of yours who rises up against you are declared defeated before your face in the name of Jesus
· Every challenge facing you right now is declared incapacitated for the Lord God will fight for you in Jesus name
· The Lord has commanded the blessing upon you in your storehouse and in all that you undertake.
· The Lord has blessed you in the land which the Lord your God gives you to inhabit.
· Since God has made His heir, you are blessed with all the blessings of the earth in Jesus name
· The Lord establishes you and He has made you holy, blameless and without a single fault in His eyes
· You are a saint of God and are called by the name of the Lord.
· The Lord has promised to never leave you nor forsake therefore I decree that in this month, you shall experience the presence of the Lord and His Kingdom life in Jesus name.
· Those who hate you shall be afraid of you. You shall be a voice to bring the gospel to those in your sphere of influence.
· You shall have a surplus of prosperity and abundance in every area of your life – in your business, your career, your investments, in relationships, through destiny helpers, in your health, in wisdom, in knowledge, in skillfulness, in prudence and over all the earth in Jesus name.
· The Lord opens to you now His good treasury, the heavens, to give the rain over your life in its season. You shall be like a tree planyted by the rivers of water that brings its fruits in its seasons. You are always fruitful and productive by the spirit of the Lord.
· The Lord blesses the work of your hands and caused it to prosper beyond your wildest imagination.
· You are a lender not a borrower and if you borrow you shall make good use of it in investing right in the name of Jesus.
· The Lord has made you the head – and you shall be above only.
· The Lord is with you, you are a success in every area of your life and in every way.
How the devil works for you not to keep the word
1) Through offense: Matthew 3:20-21: 20 The seed falling on rocky ground refers to someone who hears the word and at once receives it with joy. 21 But since they have no root, they last only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, they quickly fall away.
2) Through over-busyness: Matthew 3:22: 22 The seed falling among the thorns refers to someone who hears the word, but the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke the word, making it unfruitful.
So, what is the way out?
1) Schedule time to study the word
2) Find a gospel based teaching and listen to it
3) Minimise your reliance of entertainment or media that sows doubt in your mind
4) Refuse to be offended by anyone and anything
5) Find time in your busyness to spend time with the Lord
Favour Affirmation for the year
The favour of God surrounds me like a shield producing supernatural increase, promotion, restoration, honour, increased access, greater victories, recognition, prominence, preferential treatment, petitions granted, policies and rules changed and battles won that I don’t have to fight. Favour is mine in all things. This is my set time for God’s favour. God is doing for me what my natural abilities and connections could not do. I am blessed and highly favoured of God in Jesus’ Name!’

The Power of the “Kept” Word
Luke 11:28: KJV: 28 But He said, “Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the Word of God and keep it.”
Other translations:
AMP: 28 But He said, “On the contrary, blessed (happy, favored by God) are those who hear the word of God and continually observe it.”
NIV: He replied, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it.”
NLT: Jesus replied, “But even more blessed are all who hear the word of God and put it into practice.”
NASB: But He said, “On the contrary, blessed are those who hear the word of God and follow it.”
SLT: And he said, Rather, happy they hearing the word of God, and watching it.
3 words to pay attention to:
· Blessed is from Makarios – and it meand to be fortunate or favoured by God
· Hear is from akuo – and it simply means to hear what was said
· Keep – it is the Greek word “Phulasso” – and it means through the idea of isolation, to watch i.e. be on guard, observe
So, a person is favoured by God or is deemed fortunate when he hears the word of God and observes or obey it or puts it into practice
How do you put it into practice?
First you must hear it.
This is the reason why you can’t have faith beyond what you constantly hear.
Rom 10:17 NLT: So faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good News about Christ.
Faith comes by hearing the Good News - not the bad news.
Fear will come by hearing the bad news
The word of God (specifically one based on the finished work of Christ) will build faith in you hence why you must hear it and hear it and hear it.
Don’t hear the gospel today and tomorrow go and hear fear-based message, it will destroy your faith or rather, your faith will become leaky!
If you have never heard a message that God has healed you in Christ, then you can’t believe for it and when you don’t believe for it, you can’t experience it.

One way to obtain favour from the Lord is toseek wisdom. Proverbs8:35 says, “For those who find me [wisdom] find life and receive favorfrom the LORD”.
What is Wisdom? Wisdom is theability to apply the right knowledge at the right time in the right way.
What is Godly Wisdom: Proverbs1:7 says: The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, butfools despise wisdom and instruction.
Proverbs 4:7 NIV says: Thebeginning of wisdom is this: Get[a] wisdom. Though it cost all youhave,[b] get understanding.
AMP: The beginning of Wisdom is:get Wisdom (skillful and godly Wisdom)! [For skillful and godlyWisdom is the principal thing.] And with all you have gotten, get understanding(discernment, comprehension, and interpretation).
Why is wisdom important?
1) Because Wisdom leads to favour. We see anexample in the life of Jesus and Solomom
Luke 2:52:And Jesus grew inWISDOM and Stature, and in FAVOUR with God and men.
2 Chron 1. 11-12: Solomonreceived Wisdom and Much More from God…. DUE to the FAVOUR of God.
2) A man with Wisdom iscovered, he is protected, and he has an unwavering defence in the things oflife. Life cannot toss him to and fro cheaply. “For wisdom is a defence, andmoney is a defence: but the excellency of knowledge is, that wisdom giveth lifeto them that have it’. Ecclesiastes 7:12
3) Wisdom is better than strength. Eccl9:16-18: 16 Then said I, Wisdom is better thanstrength: nevertheless the poor man's wisdom is despised, and his words arenot heard. 17 The words of wise men are heard in quietmore than the cry of him that ruleth among fools.18 Wisdomis better than weapons of war: but one sinner destroyeth much
4) Wisdom is more profitable than gold andsilver: Prov 3:13-15: Blessed are those who find wisdom, those who gainunderstanding, for she is more profitable than silver
and yields better returns than gold.15 Sheis more precious than rubies;
nothing you desire can compare with her. Job 12:13:“With Him are wisdom and might; To Him belong counsel and understanding” (Job 12:13).
5) Wisdom is good judgement in action whichleads to favour: Proverbs 13:15 –“Good judgment wins favour, but the way of the unfaithful leads to theirdestruction.”
Why is wisdom important?
i. Proverbs 4:7 deemed it the most importantthing. 7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom:and with all thy getting get understanding.
ii. Acts 7:10 shows that it was God’s wisdom thatgave Joseph the right words to speak: And delivered him from all hisdistressing afflictions and won him goodwill and favor andwisdom and understanding in the sight of Pharaoh, king ofEgypt, who made him governor over Egypt and all his house. It was wisdom thatmade Joseph depart from evil of Potiphar’s wife.
Job 28:28 NASB95 “And to manHe said, ‘Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; And to depart from evilis understanding.’ This is where Joseph’s wisdom started from.
Proverbs9:10 says: The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge ofthe Holy One is understanding.
iii. You can ask for wisdom when you don’t know whatto do because He lives on the inside of you. James 1:5, 1 Cor 1:31
James1:5: 5 If any of you lacks wisdom, you should askGod, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will begiven to you.
1Cor 1:30: It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who hasbecome for us wisdom from God—that is, ourrighteousness, holiness and redemption.
The tenses used to describe the grace of God and our standing in it is a perfect tense in the Greek language which basically means “an event that occurs once but have a lifetime ramification”
What we have in Jesus is not something we can lose.
Your standing in Christ – His grace and favour is permanent.
So here we see that our past is justified, our present moments are favoured and our future is filled with the hope (the confident expectation of good) to enjoy the glory or reality of God.

The favour factor for the believer is rooted in God’s decision to not only be with us but under the New Covenant, to be in us. I am certain we have not plumbed the depth of what this means. Every believer has this favour factor. It is the force that brings God in on your behalf to put things in your favour in
the face of every contradicting forces. It is this factor that will put you where you natural abilities can never put you.
Every Patriarch enjoyed the favour factor. The favour factor is the presence of God. Luke 5:17 revealed how this favour factor manifested in the healing ministry of Jesus: “One of those days, as He was teaching, there were Pharisees and teachers of the Law sitting by, who had come from every village and town of Galilee and Judea and from Jerusalem. And the power of the Lord was [present] with Him to heal them.”
In 2025, the favour factor will help you. The same Holy Spirit that helped Jesus healed people and that raised Him from the dead is presently at work in you who has been joined together with the Lord Jesus.
The story of Jesus' birth carries a profound theme of a covenant-keeping God. Beginning with humanity's fall in the Garden of Eden, Pastor Davies highlighted how God prepared the way for Jesus' arrival through the promise of "the Seed of the woman"—a prophecy fulfilled in the person of Jesus Christ. In Abraham, God found a faithful partner willing to offer his son in sacrifice. This act of willingness paved the way for God's intervention on earth, culminating in the redemption of the world through Jesus.
Today's message, The Covenant God of Christmas, reveals that God continues to honour His covenant. The name Jehovah Jireh, first revealed on Mount Moriah, foreshadowed Jesus' sacrifice on Golgotha. It was the good news proclaimed to Abraham in Genesis 22—a promise fulfilled in Christ.
As you celebrate this Christmas season, reflect on the faithfulness of the covenant-keeping God, who has fulfilled His promises through Jesus. Trust that He will continue to honour His word in your life.
Merry Christmas, beloved.
“The Key To Persuading Your Heart – Pt 2”
Last week,we discussed the unique role of the heart as the seat of your belief and according to Proverbs 4:23, your own heart determines the boundaries of your life.
It is imperative to therefore know how to persuade it.
I want to do a step through the life of Abraham to show you how he became persuaded in his heart of the faithfulness of God but first
The word of God is the seed and the earth in which the seed
of the word of God is planted is your own heart. In essence,
our heart is the environment that determines how well the
word of God works for us
Today, I want to talk to you about a principle that will help
protect your heart from distraction to lay hold of the truth of
God’s word.

Matthew 22:29
You err not knowing the scriptures and the power of God.
To go into error, you must have been deceived
2. Deception has the same Greek meaning and word – and it means to cause to wander or roam from safety, truth or virtue”.
Matthew 22:29
You err not knowing the scriptures and the power of God.
So here a person goes into error when they are oblivious of 2 things:
what the scripture says
The power of God
This is Jesus’ response to those who were asking him if there would be marriages when we get to heaven. They painted a picture of a woman who got married to 6 men (brothers) and asked who her true husband would be in the resurrection.
The people asking these questions were religious - those who claim to have a handle on God - but they missed it - Jesus says they may be religious but they have gone into error.
Introduction
When life brings us trials and temptations, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed and question our faith. These moments can challenge us, but they also present unique opportunities for spiritual growth and resilience. Faith under fire is an invitation to deepen our trust in God, grow in wisdom, and strengthen our character.
To discuss the final part of this series, I want toreview a most wonderful verse and use it to act as the foundation for today’s teaching.
1 Pet 2:9 AMP
But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood,a consecrated nation, a [special] people for God’s ownpossession, so that you may proclaim theexcellencies [the wonderful deeds and virtues and perfections] of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvellous light.
Here God is describing who you are and what you are called to be. He is describing your identity and your mission. No matter what your vocation may be, please remember this truth:
Your identity precedes your vocation.
Apply these truths to your life. Look at these examples and consider areas where you need to decide to sanctify (set yourself apart) for your purpose.
The Tale of Two Developers: Sarah and Mark
In a rapidly growing tech hub, two software developers—Sarah and Mark—began their careers at the same time. Both were passionate about coding, but their approaches to work and purpose diverged drastically over time.
In a world where conformity is celebrated, standing out to be different requires you to be bold and
unfazed by the views and perceptions of others. Among what kills dreams and greatness is the desire for other people’s approval.
What would “they” say? “How would I be perceived? Etc are thoughts that kills originality. Our world is filled with it – celebrating mediocrity, conforming and group think but to stand-out from this norm is what God has called you out for.
Have you ever done something in the past that you regret or perhaps you have been involved in a relationship or a business deal that went sour and the regret of it constantly fills your mind? Did you notice that playing over the regrets of past events brings up the negative emotions associated with the mistakes? Why does that happen and how can you leave the cycle of regret behind as you face the future?
You must remember this truth:
God’s mercies are NEW every morning (Lamentation 3:22-23) – this means you have a chance to recreate your future every single morning.
Join us on https://live.thelightshouse.org/ at 8:00AM as we give biblical steps you can take to leave the City of Regret behind you. Your future call you. Are you ready?
We said last week that dead works are those things done out of fear, or anything that we do to impress another man or gain the praise of men or works done for personal gain or honour or works that appear good externally but that spring from a corrupt motive or done for the wrong reason or works done without any joy.
We said there are 3 steps to overcome dead works:
1) Know that you are already righteous so you don’t need to ever prove anything to God or others
2) Allow the blood of Jesus to cleanse your conscience from dead works
3) With a clean conscience, you can continue to walk in faith as that is the only walk of the believer.
So, today, I want to finish this series off by talking about the message titled “A worthy walk”
The main agenda behind the series is to lead us to the right way to walk before the Lord or work for the Lord.
Good works vs dead works
We have definedGood Works as:
Practical acts of love that meetpeople’s needs. You see a need, and in love you try tomeet it—that’s a good work.
Eph 2:8-10 TPT
reads:
8 For by grace you have been saved by faith. Nothing you did could ever earn this salvation, for it was the love gift from God that brought us to Christ!
9 So no one will ever be able to boast, for salvation is never a reward for good works or human striving.
10 We have become his poetry, a re-created people that will fulfill the destiny
he has given each of us, for we are joined to Jesus, the Anointed One. Even before we were born, God planned in advance our destiny and the good works we would do to fulfill it!
So notice the key information from this text:
· Good works does not and can’t earn salvation
· We were saved to do good works
If you missed the powerful session yesterday on how to set boundaries for and with our children in helping them grow, please go watch the replay. So much to learn… youtu.be/sQRtE66LdRk…
Thismessage fully preached will lead men unto good works that are right, excellent and profitable for the people. Since it is an act of grace on God's part, we have nothingwhatsoever to boast of when we do those good works because God is the one whoworks in us to will (the desire) and to do (the ability) for His good purpose(pleasure).
One of the limitations we have put on ourselves as believers is doubting our standing in Christ or disqualifying ourselves in our minds when we pray.
In all your relationships, with friends, neighbors, coworkers, brothers and sisters in Christ, what kind of representative of Jesus Christ are you being?
Can others see him in you? Or do they only see you?
What kind of representative of Christ are you?
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
To seek the kingdom is to think and meditate into the influence and honour of the power and dignity conferred on believers by God
Seeking the kingdom is about kingdom authority in thought, feeling and actions
To experience the kingdom, we need to seek the kingdom. To seek the kingdom is to think and meditate into the influence and honour of the power and dignity conferred on
believers by God
Do you know that the word “thought” and the word “said” came from the same Hebrew word “awmar”? This proves a spiritual truth that the words of your mouth and the thoughts of your heart must align for creation to happen. So, how do you own your thoughts? Thoughts are unspoken words that have the same effect on our psyche as spoken words. The language of the heart can either be crystal clear or confused - if it is clear, we know what to do and get more done. However, if the language is confused,
we become like a person driving with a blurred vision. Confusion and frustration set in.
So, when we speak of a disciplined thought life, we are talking of how you ensure that the unspoken words of your mind are not confused or in tandem with God’s thoughts about you and that is what I want to address this morning.

How did David encourage himself in the Lord? How did David draw strength from God?
He waited on the Lord! To wait is to “bind yourself” with God
Steps:
the situation because God’s character does not change and His words uphold the universe.
Seek direction from God on what to do next
Strategise the action plan on how to act on what you have been shown
Share your goodness with the world even when you are in pain. It is a seed that will always
come back to you and more.
Remember God has helpers along the way.
Remain a person of integrity. Don’t seek vengeance
Act with the end in mind, holding a picture of victory.
Celebrate God in all things and celebrate people who supported you in the journey.

Every time you consider the past, you put yourself in that same memory of the past.
How was Moses able to overcome all he faced while leading the children of Isreal out?
His focus was on God. Focus is a function of sight of the mind. A state of avoiding any distraction.
Heb 11:27 NIV says: By faith he left Egypt, not fearing the king’s anger; he persevered because he saw him who is invisible.

What do you see?
Have you ever found yourself in a dark room before and you were trying to look for an object that you assumed should be in the room? How do you go about searching for such? You grope, you will devolve to the organ of touch to find what you are looking for but suppose someone gives you a torch or flips on the light switch, you would be able to quickly scan the room to get what you are looking for.
This is the profound value of the organ of sight. When God uses the word “see”, He is not just referring to your physical eyes, He is referring to the eyes of your heart. It is what you see in your heart that determines how you act out your purpose.

The greatest advantage that the believer has is the God Advantage - the fact that God is with us, for us, in us and all around us - this is what gives the believer boldness in life.
No matter what life throws at you, never ever lose your focus on your advantage.
In Deut 20:1-8, the Bible describes the law of war which paraphrased says: When you go to war, dont be afraid because your God is with you to give you victory. The reason God is with you, for you, in you and all around you is to give you victory.
In Christ Jesus, you already won the victory so face live with the mindset of an overcomer. God's got this!

What if I told you that you stand permanently in the favour of God. Would you believe it? Don’t take my word for it. Sometimes God works secretly and behind the scenes, but He will reveal His work for us when the time is right.” Just because we don’t see anything happening doesn’t mean that nothing is happening. The God of behind the scenes is busy polishing things, sprucing up corners of our life story, cleaning up messes and organizing the next chapter of our lives. He does more than we know. Our job is to praise Him while we are waiting. His job is to set up the scene and get everything ready. He has a plan. Let’s trust and believe that He knows what He is doing.

When The Brook Dries Up - Pt 2
Now this study will look at the next part in chapter 17:8-16 when the brook dries up
7 After a while the brook dried up because there was no rain in the land.
8 And the word of the Lord came to him:
9 Arise, go to Zarephath, which belongs to Sidon, and dwell there. Behold, I have commanded a widow there to provide for you.
10 So he arose and went to Zarephath. When he came to the gate of the city, behold, a widow was there gathering sticks. He called to her, Bring me a little water in a vessel, that I may drink.
11 As she was going to get it, he called to her and said, Bring me a morsel of bread in your hand.
12 And she said, As the Lord your God lives, I have not a loaf baked but only a handful of meal in the jar and a little oil in the bottle. See, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and bake it for me and my son, that we may eat it—and die.
13 Elijah said to her, Fear not; go and do as you have said. But make me a little cake of [it] first and bring it to me, and afterward prepare some for yourself and your son.
14 For thus says the Lord, the God of Israel: The jar of meal shall not waste away or the bottle of oil fail until the day that the Lord sends rain on the earth.
15 She did as Elijah said. And she and he and her household ate for many days.
16 The jar of meal was not spent nor did the bottle of oil fail, according to the word which the Lord spoke through Elijah.
Where to next Lord?
1 Kings 17:7 After a while the brook dried up because there was no rain in the land.
Notice the brook drying up is a function of natural phenomenon under a spiritual command. Eliha shut up rain for 3 years and naturally brook has to dry up if the natural cycle of sustenance did not happen.
Rain is needed to plant crops, grow them and mature them. Without rain, there would not be sustenance.
I will give you the rain for your land in its season, the early rain and the latter rain, that you may gather in your grain, your new wine, and your oil.—Deuteronomy 11:14
1 Kings 17:8 And the word of the Lord came to him:
Notice when the Word of the Lord came to him? It was after the brook dried up. This word was for a specific instruction on the direction that should be taken.
When you find yourself in a transitory path, it is important to seek and expect the direction that God would have you take.
1 Kings 17:9 Go at once to Zarephath of Sidon and stay there. I have commanded a widow in that place to supply you with food.
So the brook dried up and Elijah sat still until the word of the Lord came to him. God called him to go to Zarephath which is in Sidon. So Elijah was sent to Zarephath, which means the 'place of refining or smelting furnace'. It is interesting that the first place Elijah was sent to (Cherith) meant a 'cutting or to cut off' and from there he is sent to a 'smelting furnace or refining'.
From this you can see that God is working in the character of His prophet.
But also notice a few things:
⦁God told him to go at once or to arise and go. It is a time bound action and notice also what he was meant to do when he gets there? Dwell there or stay there. The same he had a dwelling at Cherith, he must now have a dwelling at Zarepath.
⦁God commanded a widow to feed Elijah at Zarepath.
So a bit of georgraphy to see what God did (See map)
From Brook Cherith to Zarepath is about 80miles apart which is about 130km apart – that is like driving for a distance of about 2 hours if you drive at 70km/hr. If you were to walk this distance (as I would expect Elijah to have done), that would take him about 26hours. It is unlikely that Elijah will work 24hours non-stop so let’s us assume he walked 12 hours everyday, he will need to have travelled for at least 2.5 days to get to Zarepath. So, what did Elijah eat for the 2days during that journey to an unknown land?
Let that question settle in your heart – and relate it to your own peculiar situation:
How does God take care of me when I am in a holden pattern between his promises for my life and my current reality?
How does God take care of me when I am building a multi-million pound business but creditors are tearing the gates down?
How does God take care of me when I know I am healed but the symptoms persist?
How does God take care of me when my strength fails but I still have dreams burning deep in my heart?
How does God take care of me when at 60, I am still at a loss for what to do but I know I was made for more?
And so on…
The Bible never explained how God fed Elijah over those days he walked towards the promise – with nothing but trust in the God who never fails.
I bring you the same encouragement that if God has shown you where you are going or given you an instruction or revealed to you how things are going to pan out, then He will take care of you whilst you are in the holden pattern of life.
May God, who is our Sustainer, sustains you in every season of your life in Jesus name.
What made this story very peculiar what where and who God sent Elijah to:
⦁God sent him to a city of pagans to be fed by the same people whose daughter corrupted Ahab (Israel’s king) which brought the curse on the nation of Israel.
⦁What does this mean for you? That no matter what the economy of the nation in which you find yourself may be corrupted by lust, greed and all sorts of vices, God will find a way to take care of you.
⦁God sent Elijah to a gentile widow. A widow by definition has no husband to protect her. During the times of Elijah, women are largely domesticated – so if a woman loses her husband, she becomes vulnerable but it is unto this woman that God sent Elijah to. Not only that her people and the Israelites are not the best of friends. Jews did not, in those days, associate with Gentiles. But God is actually calling him there and is saying 'look, even though this doesn't appear to be normal, I am going to provide for you in this area'
⦁At times, God’s help to you may come from uncommon quarters. Learn to be grateful for the provision, not how it comes.
Why was Elijah sent to this woman?
Is there anything about this woman that made God visit her specially during this trying period?
Jesus gave us a hint:
Luke 4:22-30 AMP
22 And [as He continued on] they all were speaking well of Him, and were in awe and were wondering about the words of grace which were coming from His lips; and they were saying, “Is this not Joseph’s son?” 23 So He said to them, “You will no doubt quote this proverb to Me, ‘Physician, heal Yourself! Whatever [miracles] that we heard were done [by You] in Capernaum, do here in Your hometown as well.’” 24 Then He said, “I assure you and most solemnly say to you, no prophet is welcome in his hometown. 25 But in truth I say to you, there were many widows in Israel in the days of Elijah, when the sky was closed up for three years and six months, when a great famine came over all the land; 26 and yet Elijah was not sent [by the Lord] to a single one of them, but only to Zarephath in the land of Sidon, to a woman who was a widow. 27 And there were many lepers in Israel in the time of Elisha the prophet; and not one of them was cleansed [by being healed] except Naaman the Syrian.” 28 As they heard these things [about God’s grace to these two Gentiles], the people in the synagogue were filled with a great rage; 29 and they got up and drove Him out of the city, and led Him to the crest of the hill on which their city had been built, in order to hurl Him down the cliff. 30 But passing [miraculously] through the crowd, He went on His way.
This widow’s heart believed God even though she lived among unbelievers. There were those widows in Israel who did not believe God, Elijah was not sent to them.
What does this have to do with you?
Under the New Covenant, God is always with us and He loves us and favours us but we must believe Him when He leads. We must trust Him.
The other thing God is saying here is that sometimes a door will close, just like the brook drying up - that is a closed door. However another door will always open. When the brook dried God provided someone else to make provision. You don't expect God to act or work in this way, but Elijah was called to trust what God had planned.
Have you seen the unseen hand of God?
1 Kings 17:10 So he went to Zarephath. When he came to the town gate, a widow was there gathering sticks. He called to her and asked, "Would you bring me a little water in a jar so I may have a drink?"
They believe it was about 80 miles for Elijah to travel from the brook to this place. It doesn't say how long it took or how he went, either on foot or by donkey, but it is a fair way to travel. But I love scripture because you see the providence of God and the hand of the unseen God everywhere. So he arose and went to Zarephath and came to the gate of the city where a widow was gathering sticks. At the very precise moment that he arrived at the gate, here is the woman that God has commanded to make provision for him. All through scripture you see the providence of God.
Here I want you to go with me and use your imagination.
Imagine this woman a week before this day checking what she has left of her flour and oil and knowing help was not coming from anywhere assessed how long her food supply will last for. At that moment in Cherith, Elijah brook was running dry but he was still being fed by ravens.
Now, on the day the brook dried and God said to Elijah to arise and go to Zarepath (assume it is 2-3 days journey), the widow had her ration also dwindling but able to feed only 2 of them but look at her face as she resigned to the impeding death but look into her heart as she cried to the God of Israel whom she did not know but believed can help her. Imagine God impressing on her the need to be compassionate and share what she has with someone who will show up in 3 days time. Imagine God leading her out to pick woods the exact same time that Elijah shows up.
Just imagine how God’s providence works!
May your blessing and that which God has given to you that is in the hands of someone else locate you this month in Jesus name!
Say with me:
May I be at the right place, at the right time to meet the right people and my destiny helpers and do amazing feats in Jesus name!
Another really good example of providence is Abraham when he wanted to seek a wife for Isaac. Abraham said to his servant 'I want you to go to my own household and find a wife for my son.' The servant went and when he reached the well he prayed 'Lord, if this is the one, I will ask her for a drink and if she says 'yes, but I will water your camels as well', that will be the one'. He hadn't even finished praying and the Bible says that 'out she came'.
God is always working above and beyond what we can believe and this is the providence of God.
He arranges things so perfectly without us actually knowing what is going on. When you look at your own life you can see God's hand of providence in many ways. You can have divine appointments through the people that you meet or the places that you go to. God's hand is actually behind it.
My example: How I met the Oladipos
Only God could order all of those things. He knows, he acts, and that is providence. And it's all through scripture. Quite often there is providence in our lives and we don't always recognise it. Sometimes there are big incidents where we do, but the unseen hand of God is always in the things that we are doing.

This is what it means to be authentic.
Authentic living is a virtue to be pursued and become.
When we are authentic, we have no need to pretend or hide or be double faced.

Experiencing the unfailing love of God
When God introduced Himself to Moses in Ex 34:6, He says this: ”The Lord passed in front of Moses, calling out, “Yahweh! The Lord! The God of compassion and mercy! I am slow to anger and filled with unfailing love and faithfulness.“
We know that God is love. He does not just show love. He is love personified - and His love is unfailing. What do you think about when you hear something is “unfailing”? That which no matter what happens can never fail! It is like the way an anchor holds the ship at shore. Steady. Solid. Dependable.
This truth was reiterated in Psalm 103:6
”The Lord is compassionate and merciful, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love.“
If your job is on the line, God’s unfailing love will make new pathways for you.
If the doctor’s report scares you, God’s unfailing love will heal you and turn things around.
If your mistakes of the past haunt you, God’s unfailing love will deny the past the power to hurt you.
In this month of March, I pray that you experience the unfailing love of God no matter what may be going on in the world.
Welcome to March

Romans 8:38-39 says: For I am convinced [and continue to be convinced—beyond any doubt] that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present and threatening, nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the [unlimited] love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
There are 10 things that were mentioned above that could (if possible) put a wedge between us and God's love for us and the conclusion is "nothing and no-one has the capacity, ability, power, effrontery etc to to sunder, sever, disunite, tear apart, disconnect, cut off, disengage, or withdraw us from the love of God in Christ Jesus.

No divorce ever from His Love - Promo
As I was walking towards my car recently, I heard God said in my heart: “when my people go through tribulations, they start to wonder if I still love them but what did Romans 8:35 say?
35 Who shall ever separate us from Christ’s love? Shall suffering and affliction and tribulation? Or calamity and distress? Or persecution or hunger or destitution or peril or sword?
When or if you ever you go through any of these events, don't allow the devil, your flesh or your friends and family member say to you that it is the proof that God no longer loves you.

Why was Jesus committed to fulfilling His purpose on the earth? Why did He have to endure the agony, shame and pain of the death only reserved for malefactors? Why did He even become human and endure the travesty of living on the earth? Why was Jesus vulnerable and allowed Himself to be nursed by the same people He created?
Heb. 12:2 gives us a hint: It was because His heart was focused on the joy set before Him by God.
What was the joy set before Jesus? The Greek word used in this text is “cara” and it means “calm delight” which also means that which causes an occasion for joy or of person who are one's joy. The joy of knowing you would be His for all eternity is what made Jesus endure the pain! You are the joy set before Jesus. You are the calm delight of Jesus! Ponder that!
Heb 12:2 TPT says: We look away from the natural realm and we focus our attention and expectation onto Jesus who birthed faith within us and who leads us forward into faith’s perfection. His example is this: Because his heart was focussed on the joy of knowing that you would be his, he endured the agony of the cross and conquered its humiliation, and now sits exalted at the right hand of the throne of God!
Reminisce over the most joyful day of your life. Play back the scene in your mind. Fill the emotions again then multiply that by infinity – then you will begin to have an inkling about how much joy you bring the Father.
Join us on https://live.thelightshouse.org/ as we teach a message that will demolish low self-worth and the need to chase validation from another human being. You are the Delight of Jesus. You are the joy of Jesus. You are of God, His Beloved.

In developing an abundance mindset, one of the key steps to avoid scarcity is the knowledge and believe that your life is enveloped in the hands of a loving God.
Here is a statement that is worth writing down:
It is impossible to feel lack when you know that your life is enveloped by the hands of a loving God.
In today’s message, I will endeavour to show you how abundance and God’ love tie together.

Last week, we spoke about the danger of chasing status as this has the potential of building a sense of scarcity in us where we feel we are not at par with some people. The whole exclusivity list is a scarcity game that we should not play.
When you fee like you don’t belong in a club, special class etc, and you tied your self worth to it, if you are not careful, two things will happen:
One – you could run around trying to get into that exclusive club thinking you would feel good inside or be joyful when you get there but status never brings true wealth or inner joy. You may get it and realise you need more. How do I know that? Suppose you buy a brand new car- the car of your dream, the first few days you may feel so good about it but after a while, you get used to it and you want more. In essence, you are left a feeling of dissatisfaction. It is the same with chasing status. Jesus said this:
Two – you may feel excluded and automatically feels like those who are in the so called “exclusive club” are special, they are having the best life you could only dream of and then what happens to you? You feel resentful of your own life and you start comparing your life or people in your life to that “standard” and thus become ungrateful. You may even resent these people in the “exclusive” list because you think they have cornered the world’s resources – and it is this thinking that breeds scarcity

Everytime we shift our attention from the reality of who God has declared us to be, we automatically embrace a mindset of shame, nakedness and of not being good enough.
Every time we seek to get validation from the things which God created in order for us to claim the God status, we automatically embrace the mindset of scarcity and of not good enough.

Giving is a practice of abundance. It tells your mind, “I have enough to spare that I can give this to someone else.” Whether you’re giving a generous tip or donating to a cause you care about or bringing cookies to a neighbour, giving helps override the scarcity mindset’s inclination to hoard the good things in life.

Here is a question that God asked us at this morning’s prayers and it is still ringing in my heart!
What do you see? (Jer 1:11-13)
What do you see? A powerful question God is asking you on what you are focussing on this year. Do you see abundance or scarcity? Do you see divine health or sickness? Do you see fear or faith?
What do you see? He asks again. Here is a popular quote of mine: You can’t feature in a future you have not imagined.
When Abraham first got to the land God gave him, whilst the land looked like nothing. God asked him to look around and He said: “as far as your eyes can see, I will give to you”.
God is greater than your vision. God is asking you to recover sight (anablepo) and see BIG. He is able to exceed your wildest imagination (Eph3:20)

Have you ever been unexpectedly called in to meet with your boss, and then spent the dreadful time before your meeting conjuring up why you might be in trouble? Has your imagination led you to create scenarios of how you might be fired, and what your reaction
would be? Have you ever imagined the worst-case scenario in some situations where the future seemed unknown to you?
This is your imagination feeding on the fear of the worst thing happening. This may have come from movies we have watched or even life's experiences but how does God wants us to to live? To remember that fear is not our future. God is - and He has conquered every tomorrow before we get there.
Psalm 139: 5 offers a comforting prose for every believer when the terrain of life looks unfamiliar:
You’ve gone into my future to prepare the way, and in kindness you follow behind me to spare me from the harm of my past. You have laid your hand on me!
The greatest antidote to fear is to know ane be consciously aware of the love and presence of God.

This week I had a dream where God showed me the picture of a tree that is beautiful with evergreen leaves and fruits along its branches. As I looked, I could see through the trunk to see the roots of this tree tapping down into the river bed below. I could see the spirals of nutrients as they flow through the trunk from the root up to the stem and the leaves. It was a fascinating sight. The tree looked luxurious, magnificent and undisturbed and here is what I heard God said to me:
“you see this tree is connected to the source from which it was made from. It does not have to struggle for nutrients or fail to produce fruit. Why? Because it was connected to its source. Everything that connects to its source functions optimally because that thing draws all it needs from its source”.

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.So faith only comes as you hear and keep hearing the word of God. The continuous hearing of the Word makes your mind set on the Word – your mind takes on the frame/set of the Word. But it is not just any Word of God. To have an ownership mindset, your mind must be set based on the finished work of Jesus. It is about what Jesus has done. It can not be because it is in the Bible.

The Bible teaches that our mind can be shaped by the structure of that which we allow to pour into us and that whatever is allowed to pour into our mind, ultimately determines the reality we are going to experience.
God is saying to us that the way we will not be shaped or fashioned to the way the world thinks and acts is by renewing our mind.
Transformation comes in the place of mind-renewal

A believer can experience the same failure pattern of his parents but it does not mean it is generational curse. In order to understand how this is possible, let me explain to you 3 ways in which we can adopt the behaviours of our parents without knowing it:
Verbalprogramming (what did you hear when you are growing up?)
Modelling(what did you seewhen you are growing up?)
Meaningattached to specific events (what did you experience when you were young?)
--- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/the-lights-house/message
Proverbs 26:2 says Like the sparrow in her wandering, like the swallow in her flying, So the curse without cause does not come and alight [on the undeserving]. This means that a curse without the basis for it (without a cause) shall never stand. The first time the word "curse" was mentioned, it was directed to the devil and that speaks volume - that God issues a curse over anything that seeks to undermine you or that which seeks to hold you captive.
A curse is the opposite of a blessing and both are issued by words. As a believer, a curse is legally not allowed to operate in your life. Why? Because Gal 3:13 says Christ has redeemed you from every curse. As a child of God, Jesus Christ says He has given you the Holy Spirit. The Aramaic word for the Holy Spirit is paraqleta, which is taken from two root words: (1) praq, “to end, finish, or to save,” and (2) lyta, which means “the curse.” What a beautiful word picture: the Holy Spirit comes to end the work of the curse (of sin) in our lives and to save us from its every effect! Paraqleta means “a redeemer who ends the curse.”
This is the reason why a curse of any form is not allowed legally to operate in your life though you can experience its influence if you surrender yourself to deception and lying vanities.
Join us tomorrow at 8:00AM as we stream "The Anatomy of a Curse" on live.thelightshouse.org and we will seek to answer these 3 questions:
Can a believer be cursed?
Can a believer experience a curse?
Is it OK to believe in generational curse?

A lie is opposite of the truth.
A lie is an assertion that is believed to be false, typically used with the purpose of deceiving or misleading someone. The practice of communicating lies is called lying. A person who communicates a lie may be termed a liar. Lies can be interpreted as deliberately false statements or misleading statements.
Jesus called Satan, the devil, a murderer from the beginning. But in Genesis, in the beginning, Satan didn’t pull a knife on Eve. He didn’t throw her off a cliff. He didn’t twist a vine around her neck and strangle her. He didn’t hit her over the head with a rock. That would have been too overt.
Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/the-lights-house/message
When questioned, Adam blamed Eve, and Eve blamed the serpent. The result was a separation from God (a spiritual death), eviction from the garden, and eventual physical death of the carnal body. The result of the lie was a murder of the truth, and the murder of the spiritual covenant relation they had with God, and the murder of the body.
Because someone who believes a lie, takes action based upon that mistaken belief, and because the consequences of those actions can, and often do result in death, any one who lies to you doesn’t care whether you live or die.

The word “defiant” means full of or showing a disposition to challenge, resist, or fight : full of or showing defiance : bold, impudent. defiant rebels. a defiant refusal.
What is defiant faith? It is a faith that refuses to give in to the fear of the enemy. It is a faith that speaks boldly of the power of God to overcome the adversary no matter what we see. It is a faith that boasts in the goodness of God.

The faith you believed came by hearing the Word of God or the promises of God in the specific matter but that faith will be contended for by the world, the enemy, unbelieving family members and friends, religious people, pop culture, pseudo-science, media distractions, purveyors of lies etc
If you are believing God for a miracle in your life or a breakthrough for your marriage or healing for your loved ones or whatever it is you have believed God for, it is crucial to know how to “fight” to lay hold of the winner’s prize.
How do you fight the good fight of faith? The Bible says, it is by laying hold of eternal life. How can you lay hold something that is already yours? Did Jesus not say in John 10:28-30 that:
28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.
30 I and my Father are one. Jesus is saying here that your eternal life is guaranteed. Your future in Christ is secured if you have made Him your Lord and Saviour.

In Christ, God has already given us abundant and long life. But we still have to receive (partake of) His gift by faith. It is through the promises (words) of God that we gain the knowledge of God's will and so obtain the faith we need to receive His life. Thus as we put His Word first, we come to the knowledge that God has given us all we need, and this gives us the confidence to come to Him and partake (receive).

How is it possible to have more of what you are already full of? Is that a contradictory statement? No. It is not. Even though God’s grace is always 100% available for you, you can experience a different dimensions of that if you learn this one truth: how to walk in humility!

The seed must be in the ground and die there in order to produce more of itself. For a seed to be more than just a seed, it had to be buried in the earth (and, thus, in a manner, die), after which the life-generating elements within the seed would cause it to germinate into a plant containing many such seeds.

As believers, we don’t believe in luck, we believe in favour but God still would need you to preparefor where you are going.
That then brings thequestion: Do you know where you are going?
You have had the quote:

What is the recurrent theme of the stories in your mind? Do you spend your days reminiscent of the “good-old days” because you don’t like the present moment? Or do you think about your past with regret?
What of the future? Do you look forward to the future with trepidation because of the nasty events of the past? This attitude is not what God expects from you.

The proof of your sins being forgivenis the death of Jesus
The proof of your being justified isthe resurrection of Jesus
The proof of your sins being forgivenis the death of Jesus
When you are in doubt, you only needto ask the questions:
Did Jesus die for me on that cross?Yes/No? - Yes
Did I give my life to Jesus and havemade Him my Lord and saviour? Yes/No – Yes
If these 2 questions get the answers“Yes” – then your sins are forgiven.
Heb 9:26 TPT says: for that would mean he must sufferrepeatedly ever since the fall of the world. But now he has appeared at the fulfillment of the agesto abolish sin once and for all by the sacrifice of himself!

A way to serve people is through mentoring.
What Is Mentoring? Mentoring is a relationship between two people with the goal of professional and personal development. The "mentor" is usually an experienced individual who shares knowledge, experience, and advice with a less experienced person, or "mentee."
Some benefits of mentoring are:
• Mentors offer advice - Having a mentor means that the mentee can gain advice. Having someone to talk to, offer advice and feedback is a crucial part of decision-making, mentors have been there and have the t-shirt so know exactly what advice to share with their mentees to ensure they thrive and reach their goals.
• Skill development - Mentors are a great way to upskill. Mentors can help their mentees enhance any skills they already obtain or work alongside them to help them develop new skills to meet their goals.
• Greater professional development - Mentors know the steps their mentees need to take, to get where they want to be. Working with the mentor allows the mentee to gain insider advice on how they can reach their goal and help minimise any challenges they may come across.
• Improved networking opportunities - Mentors are typically individuals who have been in their industry for a long time and have built up a large list of networking connections throughout their career. Mentors can help mentees gain new connections by introducing them to their network, which can improve the mentee's chance of gaining new opportunities.
• - Mentors often make their mentees feel motivated and inspired to accomplish their goals. Having someone to encourage them and provide them with the right support is highly motivational.

God never blesses slothfulness or laziness. If Joseph had been slothful and lazy, he could not have gotten promoted. Notice the Lord was with Joseph – the same way the Lord is always with you but notice prosperity comes on what you do. • A vision for your life will keep you grounded and ensures you mix with the right crowd
• A vison will help you to stay away from distraction. Every distraction is engineered to delay you in making progress towards your future. A vision keeps you focussed on the end goal.
• Essentially, you are moving from “here” to a place called “there” but How would you know what “there” looks like, if you don’t have a vision for it?
• You must identify, acknowledge and honour your purpose. You must pursue your purpose with passion and enthusiasm.
• Your vision is the “why” behind everything you do.

Why is personal vision important?
• A vision for your life will keep you grounded and ensures you mix with the right crowd
• A vison will help you to stay away from distraction. Every distraction is engineered to delay you in making progress towards your future. A vision keeps you focussed on the end goal.
• Essentially, you are moving from “here” to a place called “there” but How would you know what “there” looks like, if you don’t have a vision for it?
• You must identify, acknowledge and honour your purpose. You must pursue your purpose with passion and enthusiasm.
• Your vision is the “why” behind everything you do.
• Inspire action and helps you to stay away from distraction.
• If a 100m sprinter constantly looks at the onlookers while running, he/she will never win.
• Be clear—so sharp and so detailed that you can see, smell and taste the smallest details.
• Be Positive. Acknowledge the difficulties, but don’t try to motivate yourself or others with a vision of bad things that might happen if you don’t succeed. A vision based on fear may help fuel immediate action, but it can also limit your results to damage control rather than getting to positive change.
• Be big enough. Create a bigger picture of the effects of your work than just solving the problem at hand. A vision that’s too small may not provide enough inspiration, or generate enough energy, to get you past the tough spots. It might even close your mind to what you could achieve.
• Include changes in attitudes. The challenge you see in front of you is only the part of the problem you can see—the rest of the challenge is deeper and often involves personal attitudes that may be strongly held.
• Include a clear picture of your personal role. It make you take responsibility for what you must contribute to achieve the results you want.
• Come from the heart, not the head. Don’t try to think your way to a vision. To create a vision that’s exciting and compelling, you’ve got to give yourself the freedom to dream—to use your imagination to see and feel what does not yet exist. A vision is not the same as goals or objectives; those come from the head. A vision comes from the heart.

Meditate to Elevate Day 15 - Halleluyah
Psalm 150:6 Let everything that has breath praise the LORD! Hallelujah!
Hallelujah is an interjection used as an expression of gratitude and adoration and is used 24 times in the Psalms, 2x in deuterocanonical books, and 4x in Revelation. In Hebrew, halləlū yāh means "praise ye Jah!" The word hallēl in Hebrew means a joyous praise in song. The second part, Yah, is a shortened form of YHWH.
Now, there is a law of life that says whatever you praise, becomes bigger because you are focussing on it. At times in church, when we say "Halleluyah", people struggle to respond and I think it is because we either don't know the significance of this word or we are so focussed on our challenges that we don't see a reason to praise God.
Let's meditate to elevate.
Watch this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Are9dDbW24
Then read: Psalm 8:3-4. Do you feel a sense of value that God created this universe as expansive as it is but His sole focus is on you? Is 45:18 says that God created the earth to be inhabited. By who? You! You are the sole focus of God when He put the heavens and the earth together.
Now, ponder the extreme value you have before God through-out today and simply mutter: Halleluyah! Praise God. Everything exists to serve me. I am valuable to God. Halleluyah!
Action: When you face a challenge today, go back and watch that video and think through how valuable you are to God. It will strengthen you.

Meditate to Elevate Day 14: Power your silence
“For thus said the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel: In returning [to Me] and resting [in Me] you shall be saved; in quietness and in [trusting] confidence shall be your strength. But you would not,”
Isaiah 30:15 AMPC
Today’s text shows the incredible power of silence as our super power but in a world filled with so much busyness, it takes a level of discipline to take time out and “listen” to the still small voice of God in our heart. By being silent, we draw strength and direction from God on what the next steps would be.
So, how do we power our silence?
Find a moment that works for you to be alone with God. Switch off the phone or silence notifications. This is your time alone with God. Treasure it as sacred time. Breathe in and out then notice your breathing. Do this until you feel relaxed then imagine you are in a boardroom and with you is every member of the Trinity.
Now suppose you have a need that you needed direction on. Simply ask: “Wonderful Father, what is the best way to take in this matter?”
Then wait for the answer. Expect it.
Mutter these words: “Divine Intelligence is now granting me insights into all that I need to know and do to get the solution I desire in Jesus name.
Follow in faith whatever instructions you are given.

Meditate to elevate Day 13: God ordains strength from my mouth!
“Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, That thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.”
Psalm 8:2 KJV
Today’s text says that God ordained/decreed that our words are containers of power to be used to destroy the enemies. Whatever represents an enemy in your life - joblessness, sickness, penury, hopelessness etc, you can use your words to overcome these because words are the vehicles of creation. Nothing is ever created without words. Gen 1:1 says that in the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth but how did God create the heavens and the earth? Heb 11:3 says the universe was framed/formed/prepared by the word of God. Master your word and then you master your life! It is that simple!
Let’s meditate to elevate.
Imagine you are in your bedroom, just about to sleep and as you doze off, Jesus appeared in your room and He says to you: “My child, here is a truth to know, from this day on, every word you say, will come to pass because I have decreed it so”. Jesus then opened your inner eyes and for the first time, you saw into the spiritual realm and saw how every word you have spoken in the past got clothed with either life or death and ultimately finds their way back into your life producing the results that you have decreed.
You realised how powerful your words are as you mutter these words under your breath:
My words are containers of power! Out of my mouth, God has ordained strength! My words produce after their kind. I choose life!

“The lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; yes, I have a good heritage.”
Psalm 16:6 AMPC
A core necessity of life is to live in beautiful and peaceful surroundings - one devoid of penury, wranglings and negative vibes. A secured and prosperous habitation. Today’s text speaks of how God gives us beautiful habitation to live in and landed properties that delight us. You can use today's text to believe God for peaceful and better habitation whilst remembering that the Lord Himself is your ultimate habitation
Let's meditate to elevate:
Step into the theatre of your mind, imagine you are living in your ideal home. Go through the length and breadth of it. Don't hold anything back. Revel in the peaceful atmosphere surrounding your home. Now, imagine you are standing in your study in this home and poring over the maps of the world. Notice the little green pins dotted on the maps signifying your landed properties all over the world. Allow a sense of gratitide to wash over you as you mutter these words:
“The lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; yes, I have a good heritage.”
Action: How easy was this exercise for you? If it was easy, thank God for it and continue doing this as you act decisively towards this vision. If it was difficult, check if there is any mental resistance from you preventing you to dream big. Ask God for help and read the scriptures below

Meditate to Elevate Day 11: Treasures in secret places
Isaiah 45:3 I will give you hidden treasures, riches stored in secret places, so that you may know that I am the Lord, the God of Israel, who summons you by name.
Thousands of years ago, Isreal as a nation got taken into captivity by the Babylonians but God through Isaiah, declared that a king named Cyrus will set the people free and his reward would be that God will give him hidden treasures stored in secret places. This prophecy was made 150-200 years before Cyrus was born. Jewish history recorded that on the exact day Cyrus set the Isrealites free, his soldiers back in Babylon, unearthed vast amounts of silver and gold that the king of Babylon had hidden under the Euphrates River!
Today, this same text is for you. God will open your eyes to find treasures in areas where others are not looking. It will be an uncommon blessing. Would you like to meditate to elevate?
Imagine you are in a cave and marked on the walls are ancient symbols that instruct on how to access uncommon wealth but you need understanding to unravel them. Standing there and thinking of what to do, you began to pray for wisdom. Immediately, you seemed to gain understanding needed to unravel the symbols which led you to a treasure trove stored within the walls of the cave. You were ecstatic!
Mutter these words under your breath:
The Lord has given me hidden treasures, riches stored in secret places for the advancement of His kingdom on the earth! Halleluyah!
Action: Today, say a prayer for the Lord to open your eyes to see treasures in hidden places in your community or ideas that will make you a gospel financier and all for the glory of God.

Meditate to Elevate Day 10: The Lord is my impenetrable force field of protection
Psalm 3:3: But You, O Lord, are a shield for me, my glory, and the lifter of my head.
Today's meditation exercise is for someone who needs assurance of the protection of God and it can be used to alleviate anxiety, panic attacks or negative vibes. The key word to focus on today is "shield". A shield is from the root word "defence" or "buckler" which serves as protection against attack.
Let's meditate to elevate
Imagine that you find yourself in a warzone and bullets are flying everywhere but the bullets seemed to bounce off as they approach you. You wonder why. You looked around and noticed there are 2 categories of warriors on the field, those who are encased in a force field that bounces off the bullets and those who are without the force field. That is when you realised, you are also encased in a force field. No wonder the bullets didn't touch you.
Presently, you realised the force field is God Almighty and as long as you are encased in Him, you are protected from every evil on the battle field of life. Relish the feeling of security you have now.

Meditate to Elevate Day 9 - The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases for me.
The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end;they are new every morning;great is your faithfulness. - Lam 3:22-23
Of all emotions humans feel, none is as powerful as love. In fact, love is stronger than death (SoS 8:6). We are all a product of love. We desire it. We love to give it. We love to receive it. I am yet to meet a person who does not like to be loved. If you were to meet a self-professed sadist, deep inside, he still desires to be loved. It is part of our human make up. Even though in our society today, love
might seem overrated, it is nevertheless an innate desire of every soul.
Today's text says that God's love is steadfast, unceasing, unchanging, unfailing, unfathomable, inexhaustible. Though this love is beyond comprehension, we see it demonstrated in the death Jesus. If you ask me for a list of those for whom I will kill my children for, the sheet will be blank BUT God's sheet was filled with all the people who ever lived and those yet unborn.
No matter what you have done or left undone, God will never stop loving you.
Let's meditate to elevate
Step into the theatre of your life and imagine you are in the dome of an observatory with a telescope in your hand to view the stars and the moon. You have heard that the moon obscures itself if someone who has behaved badly seeks to view it and in your case, well, you have myriads of things you have done wrong. So, as you lift the telescope to view the moon expecting it to obscure itself, to your surprise, it shines brighter and brighter. Bewildered at why the moon did not obscure itself, you looked around and on the wall across rom you are the words: The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases. At that moment, this truth hits heart powerfully: God's love will never cease for me.
Mutter these words under your breath: The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases for me.
Action: How would knowing God's love for you is not dependent on your performance deepen your fellowship with God and ecnourages you to be a light to your world?

Meditate to Elevate Day 8 - The Lord supplies all my needs
Phil 4:19 KJV: But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Meeting the basic needs of every human being is God's prerogative as Creator. If in doubt, notice He causes His sun to shine on the wicked and on the righteous. For you as a child of God, you should know, believe and expect God to meet all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. If you are in any need, today's meditation will help you to see the awesomeness of God and allow faith to rise up in you to believe God for more.
The first word to focus on is "supply" and it has meaning like "to cause to abound, to furnish or supply liberally" or "to render full, i.e. to complete" or "to fill to the top: so that nothing shall be wanting to full measure, fill to the brim". What pictures come to mind as you ponder the meaning of the word "supply"? Should it not be that of abundance, and that which goes beyond basic needs? Allow that image to settle in your heart.
Now, let's look at the phrase "according to His riches" in that text. It means "in proportion to God's riches or fullness" or "to the extent or limit of God's wealth". Phil 4:19 can be rephrased thus: "But my God shall liberally furnish to full measure all your need so that nothing shall be wanting in your life. He will do this to the extent or limit of God's wealth that is in Christ Jesus"
Wow - if you have ANY need in your life right now, you can meditate on this verse to cause you to appropriate this promise in your own life. Are you ready?
Let's meditate to elevate
Step into the theatre of your life and imagine that you are standing infront of a large vault. In your hands, you are holding a box representing your needs. Presently, you hear a voice from inside the vault beckoning you to step in. You stepped in. Right in front of you is an engineering assembly line with endless arrays of angels working on prototypes and shipping products out of that vault constantly. Every area in the vault is labelled representing needs that can be supplied for. You noticed that dotted around the vault are "check in pods" and at each pod, you can type in your needs and you will receive instructions on how to locate where your supply can be found.
You type in your needs on the pod closest to you and you were directed to the aisle where the supply can be found. You walk briskly to the aisle and to you surprise, there are differnt flavours, sizes and quantities of the supply in that aisle. It is endless supply for what you need. Immediately, you started to feel a sense of relief because, there is no lack here. You simply can have whatever you need met.
Notice, how you feel now knowing that there is more than enough to meet your need? You relish that feeling.
Now, mutter these words under your breath:
God's store house can never be depleted. There is no lack in God but abundance. The Lord supplies all my need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Halleluyah"
Action: What action must you take if you know that ALL you needs are already supplied for in proportion to the unlimited wealth of God? How would you approach your needs if you know there is no lack in God?

Meditate to Elevate Day 7: In my pathway there is only life
Proverbs 12:28 KJV: In the way of righteousness is life: and in the pathway thereof there is no death.
If you are righteous, this text says that only life and that which promotes life is allowed in your life. But what is righteousness? It is a condition acceptable to God and it means "as it should be", so when God declared us righteous in Christ, He is in fact saying that "we are now as we should be" snd if we are as we should be in His eyes, it means only that which promotes life is allowed in our lives.
The root meaning of the word "life" in that text signifies that which revives, renews and is alive and fresh. A picture that depicts this is green vegetation, fresh water or springtime. To allow this text to speak to your heart, you can focus on the emotions evoked in you when you meditate on the following images: green vegetation, fresh water and springtime.
Let's meditate to elevate:
Step into the theatre of your life and step into the screen to experience a beautiful spring morning just after a torrential rain has ceased. Notice the freshness of the air as you take a deep breath. Can you hear the birds chirp? Can you see the clear blue sky and the sun shinning through the clouds? Did you notice how the flowers opened up as you walked past? Notice your smile and how beautiful everything looks - full of life! Cherish this feeling all day as you play back this scene over in your mind.
Mutter these words under your breath:
"I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus and in my path, only that which promotes life is allowed"
As you say these words repeatedly, allow the experiences of the spring morning continue to play in your heart.
Action: If only life is allowed by God in your life, how would this truth help you when you want to travel or go to work? How can this truth be applied to your loved ones? When you face a "dead situation", how might you use this meditation to overcome it?

Meditate to Elevate Day 6: A day to be thankful
“Let my whole being bless the LORD and never forget all his good deeds:”
Psalms 103:2 CEB
In the realm of the spirit, gratitude is the great attitude that determines your altitude. It is very easy to become cynical and pessimistic if one focuses on physical realities but God has called us to walk by faith and trust Him. God has already blessed us but a lot of times we focus on what we don’t have instead being grateful for what we do have.
Try this exercise today. When it is sunny, go outside and try to look at the sun. You can’t do that for too long. But do you know you can block that sun from your eyes by a coin and that coin will obscure from your eyes the rays of the sun. Why is that? When we focus on what we don’t have, we obscure from our sight what we have already been blessed with. So today, I want you to be thankful.
To be thankful is for the tank of your life to be full of goodness! What is your tank full of?
Let’s meditate to elevate.
Step into the theatre of your life. Imagine on the screen, a big, wonderful throne room with ornate designs. Angels are flying around and beautiful music emanates from the walls. A most serene, beautiful place. Step through the screen and enter that throne room. As you stepped in and approached the throne, the One sitting on that throne beamed a most welcoming smile so radiant the whole room was filled with life and He said: “Quiet! My beloved child is here”. Everywhere became quiet. All eyes on you. All that matters at that moment is you and the One on that throne conversing and sharing. He says to you: “My Darling, it is so great to have you here, what can I do for you?” You said: “Dad, today, I just want to appreciate you. I want to thank you for all you have done for me”
Begin at that moment to begin to recount all that God has done for you. As you do this, note how you feel?
Mutter these words under your breath:
Thank you Jesus for ALL you have done for me.
Action: How might your life change if you make gratitude a way of life for the next 30days? Choose thankfulness above grumbling! It will change your life!

Meditate to Elevate Day 5: I prosper and flourish in everything I do
“And he shall be like a tree firmly planted [and tended] by the streams of water, ready to bring forth its fruit in its season; its leaf also shall not fade or wither; and everything he does shall prosper [and come to maturity]. [Jer. 17:7, 8.]”
Psalm 1:3 AMPC
Whenever you want to start a new business or venture or expand into new territories, relocate abroad, start a new school, switch careers, embark on a new project etc, you are usually faced with the sense of uncertainty and your natural mind will question whether you are doing the right thing or not. The feeling of uncertainty you have is because the human brain is designed to preserve your life and thus maintain the status quo but to achieve greatness in life, you must dare to do what you have not done before. You must stretch and reach for bigger dreams. Growth is wired into your DNA by God. During this time, you need a verse that propels you forward to become all you were created to be.
Meditate to Elevate
Step into the theatre of your mind and imagine on the screen is a tree standing alone against the backdrop of the sky. Majestic. Strong. Unperturbed by the howling winds around. You wonder what makes the tree so different from its surroundings? At that instant, your eyes saw through the trunk to see the pulsating life of the tree - It is the water coursing through the tree. Your eyes travelled down to the root of the tree and you could see it tap deep in the earth to a vibrant river bed. Your eyes followed the water coursing from the river bed below and into the trunk, branches and leaves of the tree and instantly blossoming the fruit. What a beautiful sight! What a wonderful transformation!
Now, imagine that tree is you. Your root tap deep into the River of Life. You are sustained by the River of Life. That River is the Holy Spirit!
Mutter these words under your breath:
I prosper and flourish in everything I do
Action: How might this meditation help you to approach that seemingly daunting project, or business or “whatever” you planned to do knowing that you are like that tree - ever green, ever fruitful. Anytime you feel threatened, just repeat this exercise and say to yourself: “I always prosper in ALL that I do”

Meditate to Elevate Day 4: I am a well watered Garden
“And the Lord shall guide you continually and satisfy you in drought and in dry places and make strong your bones. And you shall be like a watered garden and like a spring of water whose waters fail not.”
Isaiah 58:11 AMPC
In most urban cities, parks are created to allow busy city dwellers to have a place to unwind and appreciate nature. Nature gives us a hint of the way God designed our environment to be - free from anxiety, serene and harmonious. This is the reason the environment that God placed Adam in was a garden - and not just any garden but the Garden of Eden. The word “Eden” means “Delight” therefore this means that the primary environment God desires around your life is that of a Garden of Delight! You are His Garden of Delight!
Let’s meditate to elevate
Step into the theatre of your life and imagine on the screen that you are standing in front of a garden and emblazoned across the top of the gate leading to the garden are the words: “The Garden of Delight” and as you step in through the gates, you immediately felt peace. Looking ahead of you, you saw rows and rows of well manicured and beautifully scented flowers and plants arranged in a fashion that seemed to tell a story of love. You immediately sensed this is a garden where restoration can happen and a safe haven for those who needs to escape the hazards of life. It is a place where lives can be rebuilt. As you walk further down, appreciating this beautiful garden, you find yourself drawn to a fountain at the centre of the garden. The water coming from this garden look exquisite and seemed to flow to every inch of the garden providing the needed nutrients to the plants. As you look closer, the foutain seemed to have a source that never runs dry. So amazed by what you saw, you began to feel elated. As you turned, you saw a Gardener, prunning the garden and removing weeds and unwanted elements to keep the garden as a safe haven that it was designed to be.
As you look at the Gardener closely, you realised He is God and He smiled at you and said: "Child, you are this Garden, my Garden of Delight. You are a well watered Garden producing fruit in every season and a safe haven for the world"
Notice how you feel as the Gardener speaks to you? Hold that feeling then:
Mutter these words under your breath:
“I am a weel watered Garden, a garden of delight. I am God's delight and He is my Source that never runs dry"
Action: What actions do you need to take today to cooperate with God knowing fully well that He is your Source that never runs dry.

“And the Lord shall guide you continually and satisfy you in drought and in dry places and make strong your bones. And you shall be like a watered garden and like a spring of water whose waters fail not.”
Isaiah 58:11 AMPC
Suppose your very good friend just moved to a new house and you wanted to go visit him/her. The natural thing to do is to ask for the new house address and usually if you have not familiar with that part of town, you will need a guide. In the 21st century, you would use your satnav or Google maps or Waze etc to guide you there. Imagine how sweet your life will be if you allow God to guide you in every decision you need to make and what you need to do? You would not waste time and run around in circles.
The guide even becomes more important while travelling on an unknown terrain. Is there a decision that you need to make and you feel confused? Let the wisdom of God lead you. He has promised to. He is just waiting for you to agree to let Him do what He desires to do for you. Would you?
Let’s meditate to elevate:
Step into the theatre of your mind. Imagine you are in your car. A beautiful clean car with a Satnav equipment mounted on the screen before you. Imagine that what you need to make decisions for is now the post code that you have keyed into the satnav. As the Satnav searches for the best route to get you to the destination, you wait - trusting the outcome and knowing that even if the selected route gets blocked, the Satnav will do its job in getting to your destination on time. Relish the feeling you have now in your heart knowing the Satnav will always do it’s job. As the car drives out, hold that feeling of assurance that you will get to your destination safely, on time and through the best route.
Now, slowly replace the image of the Satnav with that of God. Have the same assurance that if the Satnav can’t fail to take you to your destination, surely God can do a better job! Even if there are roadblocks on the way, just continue to trust the process and keep declaring this truth in your heart, over and over again!
Mutter these words under your breath: “The wisdom of God is now leading me through the best pathway for my life. I am guided continually by the Lord”
Action: What actions do you need to take today to cooperate with God knowing fully well that He will never fail to work all things out for your good?
Also, remember to cut off words like “I am confused” from your vocabulary!

Meditate to Elevate: Day 2: With Long Life Has God Satisfied Me
“I will satisfy you with a full life and with all that I do for you. For you will enjoy the fullness of my salvation!””
Psalms 91:16 TPT
Whatever age you are right now, you want to live to a full old age - free from sickness, anxiety or poverty. No matter what may have happened to your parents (e.g early death, loneliness etc) does not have to happen to you. Don’t buy into the concept of generational curse or “it runs in the family”, those are lies perpetuated by the devil to keep you in fear. Remember whatever you fear, you manifest in your life.
You have been translated from the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of light. Hence your birth is no longer from a physical lineage but of a spiritual descent. You are born of God Himself!
Today, we want to take this promise of a good long life and meditate on it.
Step into the theatre of your life. See yourself at your old age (choose whatever age you want) and replay what you want to experience. Set the scene in the movie of your mind - the house, the environment, your children, grand and great grand children, your spouse, your health, the community you serve etc. Step into that movie. Enjoy it now. Feel the fullness of God’s salvation - a life free from sickness, concerns, worry or handouts. Notice the emotion in your body now or the smile on your face as you hold this picture?
Mutter these words under your breath: God has satisfied me with a full life and with all that He does for me, I enjoy the fullness of His salvation!

Your experiences in life do not invalidate God’s declaration over your life. God’s view of you is unchanging. His decrees over you are sure. God has not and will not change his mind about you. The question that remains is whether you will embrace what He has said and continue to believe it even when things don’t look like they are going to work. This is where the walk of faith comes to play. This is where the rubber hits the road as they say.
God by grace made ALL provision available to you but you must claim them by faith. Faith is the currency of God and the language of heaven.

2 key things are crucial to ensure your heart flows with good things:
· The words you speak
· The words you meditate on
Because words create pictures, every time you speak, you are building new pictures in your heart. Through a process of repetition, your heart will eventually believe what you say consistently
Another form of words that is equally important is the “word of the heart” – the unspoken word of the heart.
Thoughts are unspoken words and are the foundation for meditation.

“Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.”
The word “framed” in that verse is the Greek word “kat-ar-tid'-zo” and it means a number of things:
1) to render, i.e. to fit, sound, complete
1a) to mend (what has been broken or rent), to repair
1a1) to complete
1b) to fit out, equip, put in order, arrange, adjust
1b1) to fit or frame for one's self, prepare
1c) ethically: to strengthen, perfect, complete, make one what he ought to be
So, God used words to set everything in place and the implication of words was this truth:

So, what would you like to confess over your life? Let’s look at the meaning of confession so that no one is confused
Confession means to “say the same thing as”
We have traditionally made confession to be about declaring that you are a sinner or to declare your sins but confession means “to say the same thing as”

Prayer is a crucial spiritual exercise. God gave us prayers as a means to change situations on the earth or to cultivate the atmosphere of heaven on the earth.
Prayer is a privilege of those created in the image of God.
We are royal priesthood – this means we are royalty – and prayer is in our identity.
A christian must pray. Prayer is communing with God or holding courts with heaven and the strongest power in the universe. When we pray, we must remember that we are in the presence of the most supernatural power that can effect any change in the world.

6 things to do when facing a Red Sea situation:
Fear not
Stand Still
See the salvation of the Lord
Vocalise God’s promises prophetically over your life
Act based on the instruction that God gives you. At times acting may mean not doing anything
Use God’s words like the rod of Moses over the Red Sea.

To be carried on eagles’ wings depicts the picture of how God stretches us by faith and helps us when we are incapable of helping ourselves. It is the incredible story of the grace of God at work in our lives
As “On eagles’ wings” tells of the way Israel achieved freedom — all the way from slavery in Egypt to security in the land of promise, from death to life, from helplessness to the heart of God, it also speaks of how God in Christ has wrought and continues to work deliverance for His children.

Prayer – what is it?
There is a privilege of praying that we have as God’s Royal Priests which enables us to take charge of our sphere of influence. No evil should be allowed to perpetuate where you live or work but this can only be enforced as we embrace this beautiful privilege in God.

Have you ever had your prayers answered before? How did you feel when that desire was fulfilled? JOURNAL your feelings. As we start the second half of this year, I want to remind you of what God told us at the beginning of the year. God says to use that this is the year of exceeding growth and I preached a message at the beginning of the year about being growth mindedness
Here is a small recap of what I shared:
Psalm 115:14-15 TPT says: **God himself will fill you with more.
Blessings upon blessings will be heaped upon you
and upon your children from the maker of heaven and earth,
the very God who made you!**
The Lord will fill you with more – that is my prayer for you in 2022 because that verse is laden with growth.

A belief system is a way of thinking that you used to filter all information received – and that filter either helps you or keeps you bound. It becomes your matrix.
So, today, I want to talk to you about a message I have titled “The Matrix of Life”
What is a matrix? According to the marriam-webster dictionary, a matrix is something within or from which something else originates, develops, or takes form or material in which something is enclosed or embedded (as for protection or study)

The word “framed” is from the Greek word “Katartizo” and it means among others “to complete” – this means the word of God brings anything to completion or to how a thing ought to be. So, if something is not right or as it should be, we just have to find the right word of God for such a thing and begin to speak it.
This is a fundamental spiritual law:
The word of God has the power in itself to perfect whatever it is directed towards The word of God is a container for power to be released
Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/the-lights-house/message
So Katartizo is a multifaceted word that carries a sense of repair and improvement. The Word of God will
repair and improve your life. The Word of God will complete your life. The Word of God will frame and
prepare your life.
According to Heb 11:3, God used the word of God as the instrument of creation so that the things we see
will be made from things we don’t see. This is profound. It means that the Word of God is the raw
material of creation that brings to physical reality what is not yet seen. Let me explain again – the word
of God will bring materials from the unseen realm and make them manifest in the physical realm.
Heb 11:3 NET: By faith we understand that the worlds were set in order at God’s command, so that the
visible has its origin in the invisible.
Again I will say it this way – the reason why the word of God is used is because “the visible has its origin
in the invisible”. Essentially to manifest anything in the physical which hitherto does not exist physically,
you must use the word of God to manifest it.

The blessing of God is NEVER in question, it is our containers to receive that needs to be checked. Are you creating enough containers in your heart for the blessing of God?
At times when we have “failed” in the past, we become too careful to believe for bigger because we don’t want to be hurt. Playing it safe protects us from hurt but you are not created to live a mediocre life. God wants you to dream BIG and win BIG in the affairs of life but you must first create containers for these dreams in your heart.
Imagination is the preview of life’s coming attraction – so start to dream BIG because your dream is the raw material needed for creating great things in your life.
As I mentioned last week, it was WHEN Abraham believed God for the impossible, that God declared him righteous. God used the sky to paint pictures of possibilities to Abraham but he still has to believe.

When all else fails, the grace of the Lord will forever abound.
But what is this grace of God?
How does it work? Is it exclusive to some and forever elusive to others? What do I need to do to see it work in my life?

For the grace of God has been revealed, bringing SOZO (salvation) to all people.
Titus 2:11 NLT
In simple terms, the grace of God is available to even YOU.

You may be in a place where the resources available to you and the projects ahead of you don’t commensurate – there is provision available to you and today, I will be stepping through what God taught me about the importance of digging trenches in the valley.
You must learn to let go, give up, make room for the things you want and desire. You should always want something better than you now have. That is the urge of progress. It shows development and growth. Just as children outgrow their clothes, you outgrow your previous ideals and ambitions. You broaden your horizons of life as you expand inwardly and advance outwardly. There must be a constant elimination of the old to keep pace with your new growth. If you cling to the old, you hinder your advance, or stop it altogether. This applies to your tangible possessions as well as to your intangible ideals. You can unblock and undam your good by forming a vacuum. Countless people have done so with amazing results.
It is a delightful act of faith that inevitably brings results. Join us today as we start a new series titled “dig your trenches in the valley”. If you find yourself in a place that is not good, what must you do? Must you complain? Must you gripe? No! God wants to to start digging trenches (build containers for miracles) in that valley. If you don’t dig the ditches, God cannot fill it. Create a hunger for your desire and then the supernatural power of God has something to work with and fill.
God’s power is always there to support the highest good in your life. Join our digital platform for a livestream at at 8:00am on live.thelightshouse.org #thelightshouse #identity #completeinchrist #trenchesinthevalley

Rom 6:23 AMP: For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ

When Christ said TETELESTAI, He was saying that the sin debt was “PAID IN FULL!" If you
believe that, His righteousness has been credited to your account
We owed a debt we could never pay. Jesus paid a debt He did not owe!

One truth that is prominent in the law of the Goel is that the Goel must pay the debt owed and the debt must be so totally paid that there will never be a thought in the mind of the one redeemed that the redemption is not complete. Jesus paid our debt as our kinsman so totally that there is nothing left to be paid.
There was an event that stands forever in the annals of history as the day God dealt with the Sin Debt – once and for all and that day was the day the Jesus was crucified as the ransom payment for our sin.
John 19:30 AMP says: When Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, It is finished! And He bowed His head and gave up His spirit.

Child of God, Christ already paid for your sins and made you right with Him. You have been redeemed and there is nothing left for God to do. You must either accept that you are redeemed and live a FREE life or you may choose to live under the bondage of the imaginary guilt and condemnation that God has not credited to your account – the choice is yours.
Want to know more? Join us today at 8:00am as I expound on the law of the Goel - and how Jesus Christ met the 3 conditions required for the Goel and by meeting these 3 conditions, He became our perfect Goel who has given us eternal redemption.
Your standing in Christ is not a fluke, neither is it a subject of guesswork. Be resolute in this truth: Your sins have been forgiven. You have been delightfully set free. Refuse to go back to bondage to sin, slavery to the law and fear of the devil. Know what belongs to you as we livestream "The Law of the Goel part 2" at 8:00AM today on live.thelightshouse.org

Today I will be talking about the law of the Goel - the law of the kinsman redeemer. This law is a type of Jesus who became our redeemer.

Redemption is so total that there should not be any doubt in your mind that what God has completed in Jesus can not be undone by anyone or anything.

When we are in the FLOW state, it means that we KNOW that we are in union with the Source of all things - and the awareness of this union functions like electricity that can't be stopped - it draws ALL things good into our lives.
Righteousness consciousness is the awareness of our right standing with God because of the faithfulness of Jesus - and this awareness facilitates the FLOW state so that we are able to reign in life.
Rom 5:17 says we reign as kings in this life through GRACE and this FREE gift of righteousness.
Listen to the replay of our live service as I share on how not to frustrate the GRACE of God in your life.
The FLOW state is the natural state of every believer but we must learn to flow with the FLOW state by embracing grace and righteousness!

Praise Him above, ye heav’nly host;
Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost!
Praise God the Father who’s the source;
Praise God the Son who is the course;
Praise God the Spirit who’s the flow;
Praise God, our portion here below!

Christians, preachers and teachers of the gospel have no business going around putting fear in people. God never comes with a message of fear. His words to you are always “Be not afraid. Fear not”.
But we hear so much fear preached: fear of sickness and diseases, fear of the future, fear of the devil, fear of going to hell for not tithing etc. The way some people preached about demons cause people to be afraid.
But what does the bible say? It says - Satan is a defeated foe (Col 2:15) and we are redeemed from the curses of the law (Gal 3:13). We are overcomers. Fear is not of God (2 Tim 1:7). Faith is. The Good News is.
Why should we not live in fear or reject any message curated to bring fear into our hearts? Because we have become the righteousness of God. Every believer is in right standing with God because of the faithfulness of Jesus.
How did this happen?
Please listen to this message to find out more about the legal side of your redemption. It will change your life.

God is a God of Justice.
The only way for God to give away His free gift of righteousness to us is for Him to JUSTLY do away with the nature of sin, the demands of the law that convicts us and the claim of Satan over our lives. How did God achieve this? Jesus died to meet the demand of Justice and because that demand has been met, God declares us “not guilty” when we place our faith in Jesus! Since God declares us “not guilty”, He is able to give away His righteousness to us.
We can’t claim to be righteous and sinful at the same time! No. If you are a child of God, I want you to know that you stand permanently in the favour of God. God’s love and favour cascade over you.
Listen to this message on “The Source of Righteousness: Jesus, My Goel”
“Yet through his powerful declaration of acquittal, God freely gives away his righteousness. His gift of love and favor now cascades over us, all because Jesus, the Anointed One, has liberated us from the guilt, punishment, and power of sin!” Romans 3:24 TPT

Justification is the instantaneous and irreversible divine declaration of the unrighteous as righteous, based upon the merit of Christ’s obedience, applied by grace and received through faith (Rom. 3.24-28; 4.1-5; 5.1-2).
God did not pretend to place the sins of the world upon Jesus. He really became sin. And God does not pretend to place the righteousness of Jesus upon you. If you are born again, you really are righteous.
Justification is not something you seek to attain. Justification is something you accept by faith. Through justification this supernatural transition into the born again identity is made a present reality.

In Zechariah 3, God gave a vision to Prophet Zechariah about the future restoration of Isreal and at a time when the Jews will receive Jesus as THE BRANCH and in that vision, one of the prophetic declaration was "I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day" but what does that vision mean for the New Covenant believer? Joshua - the high priest and a type of the believer, was clothed in filthy clothes which represents sin consciousness for the believer, and the Accuser was accusing him - the same way the enemy puts negative thoughts in our minds to make us think they are our thoughts - but in today's message, I will share with you what happens in the spiritual realm whilst those accusations are going on. Jesus rebukes Satan on your behalf! yes - that is right but He did not stop there - He donned on you His own robe of righteousness.
Beloved, if you have made Jesus, your LORD and SAVIOUR, God wants you to know this truth and for you to allow it to sink into your heart: But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God (1 Cor 6:11). It has ALREADY happened once and for all. Allow your heart to grip this truth: You have been JUSTIFIED - It is just as iF you have never sinned.

A first principle is a basic, foundational proposition or assumption that cannot be deduced from any other proposition or assumption.
In mathematics, first principles are referred to as axioms or postulates.
In physics and other sciences, theoretical work is said to be from first principles, or ab initio, if it starts directly at the level of established science and does not make assumptions such as empirical model and fitting parameters.
Aristotle calls it "the first basis from which a thing is known". A foundation holds a house, a map leads a plane, an anchor holds a ship at harbour etc...the foundational truths will make you not err from the Way.
If I don't understand righteousness, then I am still a babe and hence do not understand the first principles of God

There are 3 levels of Spiritual Development
• Babyhood
• Childhood
• Manhood
Just like in the natural, everyone born into the family of God starts at babyhood then progresses to childhood and then manhood – even though the same fullness of the spirit is in each believer, you need the knowledge to grow. In the natural, a child needs food, vitamins, and an enabling environment to grow into stable, productive members of society, so it is in the spiritual, a born-again Christian – who got birthed into the family of God today needs food, vitamins, and a spiritually sound and enabling environment to grow.
What are these foods, vitamins, and the enabling environment? The Bible calls these “The First Principles of the Kingdom” or “basic teachings of our faith” or “basics of God’s prophetic oracles” – these are fundamental teachings that we must all agree on. This is the “milk” of the WORD that will grow you up.

It is our year to grow but though growth is impacted to your spirit, you need to learn how to grow.So – how do we grow? You must learn that the first step to growth is to be intentional. In His book, the 15 laws of growth, John Maxwell listed 8 mistaken beliefs that create a gap that keeps us from growing and from being intentional. These are:
1) The assumption gap – here we assume we are going to grow automatically.
2) The Knowledge gap – I don’t know how to grow
3) The timing gap – it is not the right time to begin.
4) The Mistake Gap – I am afraid of making mistakes.
5) The Perfection Gap – I have to find the best way before I start.
6) The Inspiration Gap – I don’t feel like doing it.
7) The comparison gap - Others are better than I am.
8) The Expectation Gap – I thought it would be easier than this.
Watch the replay on Youtube: https://youtu.be/IELGfQaSpuA @ 10:00AM or on live.thelightshouse.org to know how to overcome the gap and grow intentionally in 2022.

Human beings are created in the image and likeness of God. Of all of God’s creations, we are the ones who have the authority (like God) over creation. This means everything is there for us to conquer. Gen 1:27-28 shows us God’s intention for mankind. The ability to dominate every territory. There is nothing on earth that should not bow to humans.
How does God expect us to dominate? First, the word “dominion” in Hebrew, is the word radah. It’s a royal word. This is the dominating rule of a king - this means you determine what goes in your world. God has given you the royal authority to rule your life. But how does a king rule? By issuing commands. By words.

Would you, as a parent, plan, purpose, and will for your children to go through life poverty-stricken, sick, downtrodden, downcast, down-and-out, with their nose to the grindstone? No! Absolutely not. God’s purpose, will and plan for us is to succeed wholesomely in this life - to have all the best that life has to offer on this earth and then be with Him for all eternity when we leave planet earth.
So, in this new year, I pray you will grasp the best perspective of God and embrace it. Matthew 7:11 says: “If you, imperfect as you are, know how to lovingly take care of your children and give them what’s best, how much more ready is your heavenly Father to give wonderful gifts to those who ask him?”” God desire for you is to GROW

In its simplest form, a “covenant” is an agreement to do or to not do something. Covenants are unconditional promises found in contracts. When God made a covenant with Noah not to destroy the earth by flood again (Gen 9:11), He tokenised this covenant with the rainbow. God's covenant with Noah and the earth was a covenant of grace because the performance of that covenant by God is not dependent on how well Noah behaved.
The covenant of peace that we enjoy in Christ is also a covenant of grace where God has promised not to be angry with us or rebuke us. you. This is the covenant of shalom that God has made with us, His people. God’s covenant promise is that His shalom (“peace, prosperity, success, wholeness, and well-being”) will be our portion all our days on the earth.
Get this: God is never angry with you. He’s not disappointed in you. He sees you as you were meant to be and He doesn’t hold anything against you.

The New Covenant definition of Peace is the word "eirene" which means among other definition, security, safety, prosperity, felicity, (because peace and harmony make and keep things safe and prosperous) or to be exempt from the rage and havoc of war. This word "eirene" is closely linked to the word "Shalom" in the Hebrew language which means “wholeness” —a “wholeness” in all dimensions of life, implying in tranquility, safety, well-being, welfare, health, contentment, success, comfort, integrity, harmony with God and His laws. The words "nothing broken, nothing missing" is best used to describe Shalom.

Ps 34:1 KJV reads: I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
If His praise is continually on your lips, then you will experience the greatness of God in your life because you are lifting Him up far above the issues in your life.

Today's message was about "Forget not" and some of the nuggets learnt are:
1) When we boast of our achievements in the past as something that was achieved by our own efforts alone, we forget God as the Source of our lives.
2) When we complain a lot about anything, it becomes difficult to be grateful. By the laws of creation, every seed produces after its kind. So, complaining will produce more things to complain about. The approach to take is to find things that we can be grateful about daily - no matter how little.
3)When we look to the future and we never bothered to seek counsel from God, we end up doing things our way.
God still loves us and will never forget us. Go back to our channel on live.thelightshouse.org for the replay.
Have a great week and "don't forget God"
Blessings!

After God miraculously brought the children of Israel through the Jordan on dry ground, He gave them an instruction to pick 12 stones from the middle of the Jordan and set it up as memorials on the other side of the Jordan for generations to come to remember the faithfulness of God and what He has done in the past. What is the importance of this memorial for the New Covenant believer?
Listen to this message on how to create memorials to fuel hope and faith for your future.

The believer’s battle is never to get "the victory." Our battle really is to align our minds with God's mind, our thoughts with His thoughts, our words with His words so that we can walk in the victory that Christ ALREADY purchased for us.
We are to AGREE with the finished work of Jesus. This is what Amos 3:3 means when it says “can two walk together except they be agreed?”
So, REMIND yourself today that you are ALREADY
FORGIVEN
APPROVED
LOVED
CHOSEN
SEATED with Christ
This is what it means to REIGN in this life. You REIGN when you REMEMBER…who you already are in Christ!

Gen 32:1-2 was a beautiful scripture where God reassured Jacob of His protection by opening his eyes to see the angels of God surrounding him. This was crucial because Jacob was about to meet Esau whom he deceived and stole from after several years. Jacob was afraid Esau would kill him for stealing Esau's birthright but God's grace stepped in and granted Jacob favour before Esau. I pray over your life, that Grace will place in your life, what you don't deserve for good in the coming days! It is not about what you have done, it is about what He has prepared for you.

There was a popular song called "Create in me a clean heart, oh Lord" by Marantha Singers that I loved so much but when you look at the lyrics of that song from the lens of the New Covenant, it is actually a song that can put a veil over your heart. It can limit you from enjoying the covenant of grace. Why? Because this song has its source in Psalm 51:10-12 - a psalm of David when the prophet Nathan came to him after David had committed adultery with Bathsheba. Why was it wrong? Was it not written by David - a man after God's own heart? It was - but it was based on old covenant realities.
Watch the sermon as I teach on "New & Living Way" and as I share 5 things wrong with this text in light of the new covenant and how God expects you to approach him now under the New. You will love it. With stories and practical examples, you will leave empowered to enjoy intimacy with your Father in heaven.

The dictionary describes the word "radical" as "very different from the usual or traditional" or that which "favours extreme changes in existing views, habits, conditions, or institutions"
When God instituted the New Covenant, a radical reality is presented - so radical and liberating that religious-minded people refuse to accept it. If you are a religious-minded person or one who is legalistic, you will struggle to embrace the true gospel. In this teaching, Davies K. Bamigboye explains 7 things the New Covenant gives to the believer that should radically change your walk with and love for the Father.

When Abel was killed by his brother, Cain, the Bible teaches that the blood of Abel cried from the ground for justice. So the blood speaks! why? Because Lev 17:11 says blood represents life. The same way Abel's blood spoke, Jesus' blood also speaks but what does the blood speak?
Heb 12:24 says: And we have come to Jesus who established a new covenant with his blood sprinkled upon the mercy seat; blood that continues to speak from heaven, “forgiveness,” a better message than Abel’s blood that cries from the earth, “justice.
Watch this message to understand why understanding the language of the blood of Jesus is a game-changer for you.

When we believe that God has saved us by the blood of Jesus and then at the same time believe that we can lose our righteousness, we unwittingly claim that the blood of Jesus is not enough - and this adhering to a major contradiction.
Romans 5:9 TPT says: And there is still much more to say of his unfailing love for us! For through the blood of Jesus we have heard the powerful declaration, “You are now righteous in my sight.” And because of the sacrifice of Jesus, you will never experience the wrath of God.
Did you notice that? Because of the blood of Jesus, we have heard (not going to hear) the words from the lips of God "you are now righteous in my sight" - and what is the implication of that? You will never experience the wrath of God.

When a man/woman effects a will, the terms of that will is never set aside by his/her executors. No! The will is effected as directed by the person who put the will in place. A will is also not put into effect until the person dies. The New Covenant is the last will and covenant of God because Christ as the Testator died for us at Calvary's Hill to secure the eternal redemption of everyone who has put their trust in Him.
Listen to this message to understand 3 things that happened at the cross which serve as the foundation of the New Covenant. When you understand these 3things, your Christian walk will move in a trajectory that you may have not experienced before.

In legal terms, a guarantor is someone who takes responsibility for another. For example, if you an entering into a contract with someone (say you need to rent a house) but you are not "qualified", the renter may ask for a guarantor to support your application. The strength of the contract is therefore premised upon the integrity and worth of the guarantor.
When God enacted the new covenant - a form of a contract for the believer, it was Jesus that became the guarantor of that contract and what this means is that God is bound to make good on the terms of the contract based on the merit of Jesus Christ. God as a covenant-keeping God moves in your life not necessarily because you know how to pray, or sing or even good deeds you have done but primarily because of the Guarantor of the New Covenant - the Lord Jesus.

There was a priest mentioned in the old covenant who is a type of Jesus. His name is Melchizedek. Heb 7:2 (KJV) says this of him: For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him; To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace.
Jesus' priesthood after His resurrection is patterned after Melchizedek and not after Aaron - and this change in priesthood carries great implications for the believer. It means we have an eternal Priest who is at the right hand of God who ministers for us. This means that access to God can never be closed because He (Jesus, as High Priest) ever lives to pray for us.
There is a revelation behind the name of Melchizedek that attests to the truth of what we have in Jesus.

Inside the ark of the covenant was Aaron's rod that budded - and that signifies the priesthood of Aaron as mandated by the laws of Moses but when Christ came, His priesthood was after the order of Melchizedek - and not after that of Aaron.
Melchizedek (King of Righteousness and King of Peace was a priest of God) and he was a type of Christ who blessed Abraham and had communion with him in the book of Genesis. Jesus' priestly office was patterned after Melchizedek, not Aaron - and that is a BIG difference because it showcases that God has changed the way of worship.
This change in priesthood also meant a change from law to grace. No longer are we to bring goats or any objects like holy water to approach God but we are to come with full assurance of what the blood of Jesus has already achieved for us
In this message, you will learn how according to 1 Pet 2:9, every believer is also a king-priest. Join us and learn how the high priesthood of Jesus serves the believer today.
Praise God.

When God instructed Moses to build the ark of the covenant as the place where He will commune with Moses so that He can instruct the Isrealites on the way of life, He specically mentioned in Exodus 25:19 that the Cherubim are to be attached to the mercy seat and are to be made of the same hammered gold as the Mercy Seat but the Cherubim were to look downward on the mercy seat. This is symbolic that these cherubim are agents of mercy.
It is in between the mercy seat and the cherubim that the glory of God appears. This glory of God that shows up within the cherubim is called Shekinah and this term was used to describe Jesus in Hebrews 1:3 (AMP).
Jesus is the glory of God that shows up between the Cherubim but Jesus in John 17:10,22 gave this glory to the believer. Consequently, every believer today should be bold to claim that he/she is the glory of Jesus and by inference, the glory of God.
How does your being the glory of God Himself affect the way you live your life?

Rom 3:25 KJV reads: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
Propitiation is from the Greek word “hilasterion” and it means the gift which procures propitiation or that which expiates.
The words “set forth” in that scripture means to publicly display and this means that while under the laws of Moses, the mercy seat was not seen by the people; only the high priest went into the holy of holies to sprinkle blood upon the mercy seat. Yet Jesus was publicly offered as the satisfaction for sin’s consequences. By this public “setting forth”, God is made it clear that our sins are forgiven – past, present and future.
The righteous sentence of the law has been executed. Christ completely satisfied the just demands of a holy God for judgement on sin by His death on the cross. God, foreseeing the cross, is declared righteous in forgiving sins in the OT period as well as in justifying sinners under the new covenant.
Propitiation is not placating a vengeful God but rather it is satisfying the righteousness of a Holy God thereby making it possible for Him to show mercy righteously.
When did Jesus shed his blood? Over 2000 years ago. At that time the sins of the whole world was paid for. So the death of Jesus became a significant event in history when the old testament saints by faith look towards the cross and the new covenant saints look back to the cross – by faith.
Question – if God could overlook the sins of the past “on credit” because of the death of Jesus that was to come in the future, how much more will He pardon sin of the new covenant believer because of the death of Jesus that has now happened?

Under the Mosaic covenant, God told the children of Isreal to construct an ark as the place where God’s visible glory meets with the people. The Ark of the Covenant is usually placed in the Holy of Holies in the temple – an inner sanctuary that the High Priest goes into once in a year to offer sacrifices for the sin of the people. The Ark of the covenant represented the place where God meets with Moses and later meets with the High Priest once a year. The Ark of the Covenant is so important that the Israelites often take the ark to war when battling against their enemies so as to secure their victory. In crossing the Jordan, we see the ark as the object that God used to lead the Isrealites forward.
Joshua 3:1-4 AMP reads: Joshua got up early in the morning; then he and all the children of Israel set out from Shittim and came to the Jordan, and they spent the night there before they crossed [the river]. 2 And it happened at the end of three days that the officers went throughout the camp, 3 and they commanded the people, “When you see the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God being carried by the Levitical priests, then you shall set out from where you are and follow it. 4 However, there shall be a distance between you and it of about 2,000 cubits (3,000 ft.) by measurement. Do not come near it, [a]so that you may [be able to see the ark and] know the way you are to go, for you have not passed this way before.”
The primary object of this text is the ark of the covenant. The priests carry the ark and the people follow the ark of the covenant. What is the significance of the ark of the covenant? The answer is in the name: The Ark of the covenant of the Lord your God. The Ark represents the covenant of God with His people. When they see the ark, they are meant to remember that God keeps His words and keeps His covenant.
Join us as we relate that the ark of the covenant is a type of the Person of Jesus Christ and the benefit for the believer - and that is the Power of His Presence.

What is conscience? It is from two words: “Con” = Dual and “Science”= Knowledge.
The concept of conscience means something that has dual perception. The conscience can speak from the part of the heart that leans to the spirit or it can speak from the part that leans to the mind. So if you are more conscious of your faults and mistakes and the sins in your life, you will keep producing more of it. The way of change is to choose another consciousness. To move from sin-consciousness to righteousness consciousness requires you to change your frame of reference – to see yourself the way God sees you.
So how do I have a healthy conscience?
1 John 3:20: Whenever our hearts make us feel guilty and remind us of our failures, we know that God is much greater and more merciful than our conscience, and he knows everything there is to know about us.
The voice that God is speaking to you even when you feel guilty or you are reminded of your failures is mercy and our identity in Jesus. There is a higher courtroom for the human heart: it is where grace is enthroned. The very worst that is in us is known by God and he still showers mercy, love, and acceptance upon us. This is the greatness of God’s grace. He sees beyond the sin of a moment and sees the holy affections of love in those who refuse to turn away from him.
1 John 3:21: My delightfully loved friends, when our hearts don’t condemn us, we have a bold freedom to speak face-to-face with God.
Since we know God’s view of us, our hearts don’t condemn us. We are no longer under condemnation and when we feel free from a sense of condemnation, that is when we feel free to speak to God face-to-face.
22 And whatever we ask of him we receive,[aa] because we keep his commands. And by our beautiful intentions[ab] we continue to do what brings pleasure to him.
We are able to receive answers to prayers because we don’t feel condemned. We are not short-circuiting our prayers by a feeling of unworthiness or sin-consciousness.

The only way our lives can be transformed is through the way we think. Our thinking controls our reality. As you think, so you become. The good news is that you can have control over your thought life if you cooperate with God's ways of changing you. Read(Rom 12:2 & 1 Cor 10:4-5)
In this teaching, we explore how thoughts create reality using the TEAR concept and how to handle negative thoughts through the 7R model. With practical steps that you can implement in your life, this teaching is a must for your growth.

Experiential sanctification is the work of the Holy Spirit in the believer through the application of the scriptures to produce fruits that glorify God on the earth which serve as a testament to the world about what the believer claimed to be.
Experiential sanctification does not secure your salvation, neither does it make you more holy – only the blood of Jesus does this the very moment you placed your faith in Him - but experiential sanctification validates your holy identity. Let me explain. Suppose you know a man who happened to be an ambassador to a foreign country – a person of significance – but every time you meet with him in private, such a person is vulgar, irritable and behaves irresponsibly, chances are that you will be confused or may even lose the respect you had for him. Why? Because your experience shows you that he is living beneath his position.
If you carry a deep consciousness that you are as holy as Jesus is, then you will face life with a consciousness of that reality and such consciousness will produce fruits in your life commensurate with your identity.

Eph 1:4 says "And in love he chose us before he laid the foundation of the universe! Because of his great love, he ordained us, so that we would be seen as holy in his eyes with an unstained innocence".Read that again, please. God chose you before He created the universe. Your selection predates the creation of the world but for what purpose were you thus chosen and ordained? So that YOU WILL BE SEEN AS HOLY IN HIS EYES. How? With an unstained innocence. As far as God is concerned, you possess an unstained innocence as a believer in Christ. God's choice of you is not contingent on your behaviour but rather on the faithfulness of Jesus. If you have placed your faith in Jesus, God declares you holy. To be holy is to be set apart. Come, learn the biblical definition of holiness and how that affects the way you live your life.

Matthew 26:26-30 26: As they ate, Jesus took the bread and blessed it and broke it and gave it to his disciples. He said to them, “This is my body. Eat it.” 27 Then taking the cup of wine, he gave thanks to the Father, he entered into covenant with them,[q] saying, “This is my blood. Each of you must drink it in fulfillment of the covenant. 28 For this is the blood that seals the new covenant.[r] It will be poured out for many for the complete forgiveness of sins. 29 The next time we drink this, I will be with you and we will drink it together with a new understanding in the kingdom realm of my Father.”[s] 30 Then they sang a psalm[t] and left for the Mount of Olives.
When you read this, you will notice that Christ entered into a covenant with every believer through His blood. He says the blood seals the new covenant. A seal is anything that ratifies. A seal is a token that binds a covenant together. The seal is meant to remind you of the efficacy and the presence of the covenant. So, if two people are in an agreement, the token/seal reminds them of their responsibilities within the covenant.
In the AMP version, v28 reads: for this is My blood of the [new and better] covenant, which [ratifies the agreement and] is being poured out for many [as a [n]substitutionary atonement] for the forgiveness of sins.
So the blood of Jesus poured out al Calvary ratifies the agreement God made with us in the New Covenant. The New Covenant and its provisions will remain forever as long as the blood of Jesus exists – and that blood will exist forever. This means you have access to God’s provision for your lifetime. Why was the blood poured out? As a substitutionary atonement for the forgiveness of sins. In the TPT, it says for the complete forgiveness of sin.
The word “substitution” in the AMP simply means a replacement. How did the blood of Jesus become a replacement atonement for us? We can only understand this when we look at what happens on the Day of Atonement. On the day of atonement, the one who is offering the sacrifice usually lays his hands on the head of the sacrifice and by doing this, the one offering the sacrifice identified himself with it and through its death, it became an atonement or covering for his sin.
Because the unblemished sacrifice “covered” his sin, it placed the one offering the sacrifice in a right relationship with God, just as later under the new covenant the perfection and sacrifice of Christ would cover (atone for) the imperfection and sin of those who identified with Him and accepted Him as Savior.

Joshua 1:7-8 says: This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. This means that make sure that what Grace has purchased for you is what you constantly say out of your mouth. You can constantly say out of your mouth words like “I am holy, I am righteous, I am blameless, I am blessed, I am set apart, I am chosen etc. Make sure the word is spoken out of your mouth. The Bible says the Word must not depart from your mouth.
The word “depart” means to remove. God says to you “don’t remove my Word and promises out of your mouth”. Wow. He is saying, no matter what happens to you, no matter what you face in life, never stop speaking my promises out of your mouth. Then, God says, meditate on my Word – day and night. The word “meditate” is from the root word that means “to mutter, to imagine, to ponder”. This means that God wants His words to paint pictures in our heart and to be the basis of our imagination and as we do this, he wants us to mutter those words out of our mouth. He is saying when you do this, that is when you can act according to what the Word says. That is how you can become the doer of the word and when you act according to what the Word says, God says you will make your way prosperous.
Did you notice that the Bible says that “you will make your way prosperous?” This means it is you who will make your way prosperous as you follow what God has already made available. Why? Because God already declared you a success. In Christ, you already have everything but you must cooperate with God to make this work in your life. To be very clear, what I am saying is that you must respond to God’s grace by faith. To act in faith is to do God says you should or should not do even when they don’t make any sense at all.
God has given you a formular that guaranteed your success but you must cooperate with Him. Here is the formular, I got from these verses: You must:
• Pay attention to the Word of God and His promises
• Speak the Word of God and His promises out of your mouth consistently.
• Allow the Word to paint pictures in your imagination through meditation on the Word.
• Do the Word based on what is now your belief system.

"The Anchor of Hope in the Storm" shares how the God kind of hope will always draw our attention to the person of the Lord Jesus and why it is by focussing on Christ as our Mercy Seat that we are able to persevere through any season where we feel challenged.
Drawing cogent lessons from the life of Abraham which are applicable to our modern age, "The Anchor of Hope in the Storm" is a message of how to remain hopeful in Christ against all odds".

In Joshua 1:6, God told Joshua to be bold and courageous but the reason why Joshua must be courageous was premised upon this statement that God made: “for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give them.”
This statement as I began last week, is a message of hope. What is hope?
Hope is defined in the dictionary as a feeling of expectation and desire for a particular thing to happen. So, here we see 2 key attributes of hope:
· Expectation that breeds a feeling in you and
· A desire in you for something to happen.
This definition falls short because it fails to suggest the type of feeling and expectation that I should have.
Biblical hope on the other hand is defined as the confident expectation of good. This definition means you are assured of only good happening in your life. You are looking forward to only hear good news. This is soo good.
Brothers and Sisters, when God speaks to you, it is always a message that paints possibilities, a message that fuels hope. There is no situation so dead that the Word of God can’t bring alive. We can only have courage in any storm we find ourselves in, when we have hope – when we have a confident expectation of good coming to us in the future.
A message of hope is a message that breeds peace and when peace ensues in your life, it is because your mind is focussed on the character of God. Isaiah 26:3 says: You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You.
Hope sandwiches boldness and courage. Courage is that peace you have in the middle of the storm or the inability to be alarmed by the enemy. When we can sleep in the storm, be calm in the face of battle and not panic in the midst of opposition, we have broken the back of the devil.
You can only display outward courage if you have mastered inner peace. God’s peace garrisons your heart when your mind is stayed on Him and not the issue you face.

When the whole camp was fearful, David went to the brook. The brook represents a place of calmness, a place of meditation and contemplation. A place to shield yourself from the outside noise and commotion. God wants you to leave the arena of fear and step into the calmness of His brook. The best thing to do when faced with Goliath is to go into contemplative meditation. In that state, the answer and the next steps will be revealed to you. Remember that you have God living inside of you and His words to you are: be still and know that I am God. Psalm 46:10. He is saying to you that it is when you are still and surrender your anxiety that you will be able to experience Him as God.
David also took 5 stones. Why 5? Because 5 is the number of grace. Grace is the supernatural power of God to do for you what you cant do by yourself. The stones have the power of grace as enablers. What is the stone really? Jesus is the stone that pulled the head of Goliath down. Acts 4:11 says This Jesus is ‘the stone that you, the builders, have rejected, and now he has become the cornerstone!
1 Pet 2:7 KJ says: Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner The bible says, this Jesus, is the stone and if you believe in Him, He is precious to you. 1 Pet 2:7 TPT says As believers you know his great worth—indeed, his preciousness is imparted to you. But for those who do not believe: The stone that the builders rejected and discarded has now become the cornerstone
This verse means that all that Jesus is before the Father has now been transferred into our account. We stand before the Father in the “preciousness” of the Son. You are as precious to God as Jesus Christ is. What is precious to you right now. Think of the way that thing makes you feel. The way you feel about that precious thing/person multiplied by infinity is the way God feels about you.
Isaiah 28:16 says: So this is what the Lord GOD says: "See, I lay a stone in Zion, a tested stone, a precious cornerstone, a sure foundation; the one who believes will never be shaken. If you believe in this Stone, called Jesus, the bible says you will never be shaken.
So as David picked the stones, he is reminded that the stone is a metaphor for Jesus but what does Jesus bring with Him? Grace and Truth. John 1:17 says: For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. So, as David hurled the stone out in the name of Jehovah Sabaoth, he has to remember that Jesus is with Him and He is that stone that carries the grace and power of God to bring Goliath down and with that consciousness, Goliath has no choice but to be brought down.

One instruction that God gave to Joshua was to be bold & courageous. In this episode, we will explore how David displayed courage in defeating Goliath and using the name of Jehovah Sabaoth.
The Lord Sabaoth is the is the Name of God we find used in Scripture when a man or woman is at the end of their rope so to speak -- Jehovah Sabaoth is the Strong Tower which God has made available for those times when we fail & are powerless, when our resources are inadequate, when there is no other help. And it is especially during those times that one comes to appreciate that God is truly the LORD of the Armies & of all hosts. In short, Jehovah Sabaoth speaks of God's available power in our time of trouble. Let your heart be saturated with the His presence with you and His power to work for you.

Over the weekend, I took my children to a funfair to play on some rides. As the rides took them up, I could hear their lovely shrieks and saw their esctatic faces beaming with smiles and joy. At that moment, I remembered how over the past year, we could not enjoy such amusement because of COVID-19. I was filled with gratitude and thankful for being a father to these children and being able to give them such pleasures.
Right at that moment, I sensed God said these words to me: the way you felt about your children is tiny compared to how I feel about you. I love to give you pleasures. I love to see you happy and ecstatic and joyful. It was a most surreal moment for me. The Holy Spirit at that instant led me to the Psalms below:
“The same way a loving father feels toward his children— that’s but a sample of your tender feelings toward us, your beloved children, who live in awe of you.”
Psalms 103:13 TPT
As I studied this verse, I realised that the Hebrew word for “tender feelings” is the word “racham” and that word is a homonym for “womb”. The Holy Spirit says these to me: No woman ever detest the child in her womb. When a woman is pregnant especially with a child she wants, she cares for that child and she has a deep affection for that child. This is the way I feel about you.
So, I am saying this to you that: No woman ever detest the child in her womb. When a woman is pregnant especially with a child she wants, she cares for that child and she has a deep affection for that child. This is the way God feels about you. He carries you in His womb - and that is the Secret Place of the Most High.

Stay away from negative people or small-minded people. In v33, Saul tried to discourage David by pointing his attention to its limitations, but David changed the narratives by pointing to its past successes. David anchored his successes on the might of God and affirmed that this same God will help him now. What would you do? When situations come up to discourage you, take a moment to pause and cast your mind back to your past successes and on how God has come through for you then. Remind yourself of the faithfulness of God. The more you rehash the successes of the past, the more success images you are feeding your mind and the more success images you feed your mind, the more courage you will receive to step out and get the job done!
In his book, Pscyho Cybernetics by Maxwell Maltz, he defined a term called “Automatic Success Mechanism” as the way to reprogramme your mind/heart to bring you more success. ASM is a subconscious process which, when activated, effortlessly guides you to more success in your life. It basically involves using & directing your subconscious mind to provide you with more success – how? Through the power of visualisation. In v34-37, David engaged his ASM based on the Person and Character of the God who never fails. So, let your heart boasts in and embraces a picture of the success of the past to cast out any fear-driven pictures. Boast in your past successes based on how and what God has brought you through.
Psalm 103:2 says Yahweh, you are my soul’s celebration. How could I ever forget the miracles of kindness you’ve done for me? Who is to remember these miracles? You are. In the face of challenges, boast in the Lord! Psalm 42 TPT gives a clue as to what you can do when you feel down and this need to boast in the Lord: “So I say to my soul, “Don’t be discouraged. Don’t be disturbed. For I know my God will break through for me.” Then I’ll have plenty of reasons to praise him all over again. Yes, he is my saving grace!”
Here is an affirmation that I crafted from Psalm 42:11: I am not discouraged. I am not disturbed because I know that my Father God will breakthrough for me. I will always have plenty of reasons to praise Him all over again. His grace continually saves me.

Be Bold & Courageous
Joshua 1:6,7 & 9 reads: Be strong (confident) and of good courage, for you shall cause this people to inherit the land which I swore to their fathers to give them.
7 Only you be strong and very courageous, that you may do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you. Turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go.
9 Have not I commanded you? Be strong, vigorous, and very courageous. Be not afraid, neither be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.
2 words stand out from this text clearly: Boldness/Strength and Courage. The questions that jumped at me were: Why would God asked Joshua to be strong and courageous? Why does Joshua need strength and courage in going across the Jordan to possess the land of Canaan? What is the relevance of that exhortation to me as an individual?
When you hear “be strong”, you may think God is asking Joshua to muster up some physical strength but that is not the context at all. Considering the greatness of the assignment that lies ahead of Joshua, God encouraged Joshua to draw his strength from Him. In order for Joshua to get to the promised land, he had to go through the Jordan which in the natural is impassable especially because at this point, Jordan was overflowing its bank. How would Joshua be able to lead the millions of people of Isreal to safety without losing one person? Not only is it naturally impossible, it is also risky. This is where you need help.
You may be facing a Jordan or a situation that seems too risky, impossible and overwhelming for you but I have got good news for you. God wants you to be strong like Joshua – to draw your strength through Him. How do we do this? Find out more in the podcast.

Today's message is titled "Arise and go over this Jordan".To arise is different from to go and is from the Hebrew verb “koom” and it means to standup, get up or get ready to fulfill a command. Jordan on the other hand means "flowing down" and this aligns with James 1:17 TPT that says: Every gift God freely gives us is good and perfect, streaming down from the Father of lights, who shines from the heavens with no hidden shadow or darkness and is never subject to change.
God wants you to arise and go across your Jordan so you can live the John 10:10 life. Will you arise? This message is for you if you have vacillated to act in what God has called you to do or if there is a vision in your heart and you kept postponing acting on it because of one excuse or the other. It is also for you if you know there is more to life and you are wondering how you would move to the next level or go about it.
There are 4 things that God taught me from Joshua 1:1-5 that I will like to share with you as strategies to cross the Jordan. The first is that "your breakthrough is on the other side of obedience" - in fact, these words were God's words to me personally last year when He asked me to trust Him to be debt-free. If you want to listen to the 3 other strategies, I encourage you to listen to the podcast.

Joshua 1:2: Moses my servant is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou, and all this people, unto the land which I do give to them, even to the children of Israel.
To arise is different from to go. This word arise is from the Hebrew verb “koom” and it means to standup, to get up, to stir up and it is essentially an instruction to get ready to fulfill a command, somewhat similar to the military command “attention.” Here Joshua received a commission – a call to serve.
That vision in your heart that never leaves, that call of God upon your life, that stirring deep in your heart that never let go, is a call for you to arise. To arise means you are getting ready for action. When you arise, there is an imperative of follow-up action.

Rom 11:36 says "For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory forever. Amen."
What does that verse mean for you as a believer?
Psalm 8:6 says You have delegated to them rulership over all you have made, with everything under their authority, placing earth itself under the feet of your image-bearers.
Since you are made in the image of the One for whom all things are, you must carry a consciousness that you are not ordinary, that you are royalty, that you are the King's child, that the blood flows in your veins is the blood of Jesus, that God has given the earth to you, that God has given you the highest name in the universe, the name of Jesus, to use.
Listen to practical steps to develop this God-kind consciousness.

“You are completely forgiven - past, present and future” may not be your regular sermon but it is the heart of the gospel. Our past, present, and future sins were dealt with simultaneously through the cross. God didn’t discriminate with regard to the time of occurrence. For everyone alive today, all of our sins were in the future when Jesus died. This means that Jesus paid the price for the sin of the world BEFORE anyone alive today was ever born, before such a person ever inherited the nature of sin or even committed any acts of sins.
Hebrews 10:17-18 reads “And their sins and their lawless acts I will remember no more [no longer holding their sins against them].” Now where there is [absolute] forgiveness and complete cancellation of the penalty of these things, there is no longer any offering [to be made to atone] for sin.
As a believer in Christ, God wants you to know that in Christ your sins are forgiven. The debt is paid. The past is behind you. The slate is clean. Praise His glorious name! The most natural response to knowing you are forgiven is to live to worship the Lamb who bought you that forgiveness.
ACTION: Supposing that Heb 10:17-18 is true for you, and it is, and considering that scriptures cant be broken, spend time pondering on how you would approach life, if indeed your sins are forgiven. Now, make a decision to approach life with that mindset. Try this for 7 days and record on how your life turns out.
READ: Jer 31:33-34, Heb 10:17-18, Rom 3:25, Heb 9:13-15
Jesus is the propitiation for our sins. By means of the crucifixion of Jesus, God has provided the "mercy seat" once and for all, and open to all. One can trust (have faith) that atonement has been made. Your sins have been forgiven and forgotten, hence there is no other sacrifice needed for your sin. God wants you to know that in Christ your sins are forgiven. The debt is paid. The past is behind you. The slate is clean. Praise His glorious name!

Righteousness is a state of being able to stand before God without any sense of guilt, inferiority or shame. This is a state of perfection that everyone desires. Religion tells us we must “perform” to become righteous but God’s way of making us righteous differs significantly from this.
The blood shed at Calvary justified you but the resurrection gives proof that God now sees you righteous. Anytime you want to doubt your righteous nature in Christ, just look at Jesus seated at the right hand of God - that is all the proof you need!
Philippians 3:9 says, My passion is to be consumed with him and not clinging to my own “righteousness” based in keeping the written Law. My “righteousness” will be his, based on the faithfulness of Jesus Christ—the very righteousness that comes from God.
ACTION: Whenever the temptation to “perform” to earn God’s righteousness and approvals wells up in you. Take a moment to look at the cross – at that finished work – and remember that you are already accepted in Christ and that Jesus Christ is your righteousness. Then commit to what Phil 3:9 says. This will break the back of “performance-motivated” righteousness.

The ‘die-to-self’ theology possibly built around Paul’s statement of “I die daily” in 1 Corinthians 15:31 (NASB), is contextually wrong because Paul made that statement when defending his apostleship - on how he puts his life in danger daily in preaching the gospel.
Paul is not referring to dying to sin daily. Why? Because our death to sin took place on the cross. We died once and for all to the nature of sin. Believers don’t have to keep dying to self daily because at salvation, we died to our old life and are birthed into a new life
Romans 6:6 KJV says Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
READ: Rom 6:6-11, 1 Cor 15:31, Rom 6:6-11, Gal 2:20
ACTION: Whenever you feel tempted to “crucify yourself” in order to live right, remind yourself that you were already dead to sin, the same way Christ was dead to sin and that you are also alive to God now, the same way Christ is alive at the right hand of God. Reckon this truth to be real in your life

What does it mean to be blessed? Is it to have a lot of money, or a lot of influence in society? Is it material wealth, good health or affluence etc? Whatever your definition of being blessed is, God’s views of being blessed go deeper than that.
It means to prosper in all ramifications of life BECAUSE OF the indwelling presence of God. Being indwelled with God Himself is the blessing. The reason why God declared you blessed regardless of what your experience may be, is because “He sees you wrapped into Christ”. Our union with Jesus is the foundation for our “blessed” state.
Proverbs 10:6 AMP says: Blessings are on the head of the righteous [the upright, those in right standing with God]
READ: Proverbs 10:16, Eph. 1:3, 2 Cor 5:21
ACTION: When you are tempted to think of yourself as not blessed because your worldly accomplishments don’t match up to others, pause and realise that you are thinking wrong. Remind yourself that your “blessed” state is a function of a Person and not based on achievements.

Mercy is God’s prerogative alone and mercy really means the “compassion and loving-kindness of God” which He chooses to dispense as He wills (Exodus 33:19). Believers often pray like orphans begging God to have mercy on them especially quoting Ex 33:19 where God said to Moses “.I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy..”
Whilst God’s mercies are His prerogative alone, the Bible declared that New Covenant believers have ALREADY RECEIVED God’s mercies
1 Pet 2:10 TPT - For at one time you were not God’s people, but now you are. At one time you knew nothing of God’s mercy, because you hadn’t received it yet, but now you are drenched with it! Did you see that? You are now drenched in the mercy of God.
READ: Heb 4:16, 1 Pet 2:10, Hosea 2:23
ACTION: Next time you feel that God is far away, know that this is only in your mind. God’s Mercy Doors can never be shut against you. So, in your imagination and out of your lips, eulogise the Father and picture the Lord Jesus (GRACE) seated on that throne. A wave of mercy will wash over you.

One of the fastest ways of writing truth in our hearts is through repetition. Songs have the power of shaping our belief system through repetition. We must be careful about the lyrics of our songs. If they deny the Lordship of Jesus, or deny the finished work of Jesus Christ at Calvary or what God has already done for us in Jesus, then we should reject those songs or reword them.
For example: The song - ‘He gives and takes away’ based on Job 1:21 contradicts God’s good nature (James 1:17) because it assumes God is the one that took things away from Job. The truth Job lost everything because he was already living in fear (Job 3:25)
The song, ‘Lord, prepare me to be a sanctuary’ seems to be seeking for us to be a sanctuary where God lives but this song totally ignores the truth that we are already God’s own sanctuary, the habitation of the Most High God (1 Pet 2:5)
Do not keep asking for what you already have. Do not sing, “I need Thee, oh, I need Thee.” Sing, “I have Thee, oh, I have Thee.” Never waste breath by asking Him to be near you, who is already within you, joined to you in such a union that you and He are described as “one spirit.”
READ: 1 Corinthians 6:17, 1 Pet 2:5
Most religious songs are laden with the cross reality but God calls us to a resurrection life. God did not just killed our old life at Calvary, He raised us up to the new life in Jesus. Now we are seated together with the resurrected Jesus. If your walk with God stopped at Calvary, you will have 'death' mentality but God calls us to 'life and victory' in the resurrection. Have a resurrected mindset today and win

We have often prayed like orphans begging God to have mercy on us. At times we quote Ex 33:19 where God said to Moses - “...I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy...” Whilst God’s mercies are His prerogative alone, the bible declared that New Covenant believers have already receivedGod’s mercies (1 Pet 2:10). God the Father has already freely given us all things (Romans 8:32). We are therefore entreated to come with boldness to God’s throne of grace and obtain –that is to take–mercy. Heb 4:16.
Mercy is freely offered to all who will come. We are sons and daughters of God and have ALREADY RECEIVED His mercies. Our throne life reality is this: “Because of the perfect sacrifice of Jesus at Calvary, God’s mercies are ALWAYS toward me. I have received mercy and I choose to walk with a consciousness of the mercies of God in my life”

What is the throne life reality? A reality is a perception about life driven by our belief system. Beliefs are formed based on information we are repeatedly exposed to and we have chosen to accept. An example is if you grew up with the belief that you are smart and this information is constantly affirmed by people around you, you will carry a consciousness of being smart with you - so when you are faced with a difficult challenge, you will approach that challenge as a ‘smart person’ expecting resolution. It is conditioning - a belief system that affects everything you do. Beliefs are so important that they determine your results.
Throne life realities are profound truths that show us that we were crucified, died, buried, made alive, raised, seated enthroned, anointed and will be manifested together with Christ. In order to work in the power of the throne life, only one thing is needed: BELIEVE.
The word throne came from the Greek word “thronos” which means the seat of authority. The throne life is living as one who has authority over the affairs of life. Such a person views life from the point of victory instead of defeat. Such a person views life as one who is seated together with Christ and not one ravaged by the vicissitudes of life.
In today’s sermonette, I shared a story about an eagle that was born an eagle but died a chicken because the eagle heeded the voice of other chickens which limited its ability to soar or thrive. The other story was of another eagle in the same circumstances as the first eagle but this second eagle was helped by a coach/mentor to rise above the limitations of living in a chicken coop.
The throne life will challenge you to embrace your elevated seat beside Jesus in the throne room and not to hang out in the courtyard. Listen to this intro message and welcome to the throne life.

“God has transmitted his very substance into every Scripture, for it is God-breathed. It will empower you by its instruction and correction, giving you the strength to take the right direction and lead you deeper into the path of godliness.”
2 Timothy 3:16 TPT
When the bible says that every scripture is God-breathed, it carries great implications for the believers and unbelievers. How? The scripture is not just a storybook! No! It contains the very breath of God Himself - the spirit of God and whatever the Spirit of God touches must come alive. The life-giving Spirit of God has never met anything dead that He can’t resurrect.
Let’s look at some examples: In the beginning, when Adam’s body was created, it was not until God breathed into the nostrils of Adam before Adam could come alive (Gen 2:7). Adam’s body was lifeless until God breathed on Him. In Ezekiel 37:1-10, at the valley of dry bones, it was not until the breath of God came upon the bones that they could come alive. Also, the only way the disciples of Jesus Christ could become born again was for Jesus to breathe on them (John 20:22).
Now 2 Tim 3:7 says the Word of God (that is the scriptures) is God-breathed and that means it will make anything it comes in contact, no matter how dead abs hopeless it may look, to come alive. Do you have anything in your life that looks hopeless and there is no way out? Then start to meditate on and speak the word of God over those things.
As you study the Word, you are actually inhaling God’s breath into your spirit. If God could open your eyes to see what happens when you say His Words after Him, you will see a double-edged sword coming out of your mouth to slay the situations that you face.
Beloved, instead of despairing about the situation, say the Word over the situation and actively use your imagination to see those words slaying the situation. There is nothing that will come to you in the future of 100 years from now that the Word of God properly harnessed and used will not be effective to overcome.
Jesus said in John 6:63, that His words are spirit and life. This means His words are spiritual and they produce life. God’s words in your mouth too are spiritual and they will always produce life. This is the reason why the first place the devil attacks is to try to discourage you from either studying the Word by being too busy etc or he tries to deceive or confuse you in not rightfully understanding it.
God has given you offensive weaponry. Of all the weapons listed as part of the armour of God in Eph 6, the Word of God is the only offensive weapon - all others are defensive. The Word must matter so much for God Himself could not create without it. Rise up today and use the Word over your life. Don’t relegate the Word to second place in your life. Make the Word first and it will empower you to deal wisely in all the affairs of your life.
The Word of God is the breath of God that always produces life. It has never failed and it will not fail in your life - if you dare to use it. Remember, the Word of God in your mouth is like God Himself speaking. Guess what? God watches over those words to bring them to pass. Your job and mine is to learn to speak the word in faith knowing fully well that the same Word that raised Lazarus from the dead is at work in you.
There is no situation in this life that the breath of God, His Word can’t overturn. So, start today. Engage the Word. Eat the Word. Give the Word the highest priority it deserves in your life and you will enjoy the benefits.
“God has transmitted his very substance into every Scripture, for it is God-breathed. It will empower you by its instruction and correction, giving you the strength to take the right direction and lead you deeper into the path of godliness.”
2 Timothy 3:16 TPT

When the Creator made the mouth, it was meant to be a tool for creation just like God created by words. This was evidenced by Adam naming all the animals in Gen 2:19-20. God created ALL things but He left the destiny of those things to the human. How does God expect humans to append the destiny to what He has created? By naming them. By calling forth. By decrees. By declaring a name on a thing that we desire. The bible says here that whatever Adam called the animal, God agreed to it. God did not argue it.
In Mathew 12:37, Jesus said: Your very words will be used as evidence, and your words will declare you either innocent or guilty. This means your words will determine your destiny!! What you say is what you are going to get. Words make us or break us! Words heal us or make us sick! Words destroy us or make us full of life, happiness or health. What would you like to say today?
SAY IT: By my words I shall be justified. I know that I shall have whatsoever I say. I shall have the words that I speak. Therefore, I speak words full of life, happiness and health. I speak words that make rather than break. I always have what I say!
BELIEVE IT: Meditate on what you learnt today especially how our words can limit God in our lives.
DO IT: Choose 3 positive words today and use that to describe people and things in your life. For example: I have a peaceful home, or I work with talented people or my child shall be great in the world etc. Remember, you shall have what you say! Words give destiny to things and people
RECEIVE IT: By faith, believe these things are already in motion and are yours.
TELL IT: Express gratitude to God in advance of physical manifestation.

So, let’s look at how to make SBDRT work for you:
Say it - say what God says about you and the situation.
Believe it - let what you have heard with your ears be meditated upon in your heart to affect your belief system. The God kind of faith or belief comes by repeatedly hearing the Word of God (Rom 10:17). The Passion Translation says it this way: “Faith, then, is birthed in a heart that responds to God’s anointed utterance of the Anointed One.” Faith is produced by hearing the words from the mouth of the Messiah. This means the God kind of faith, that moved mountains or achieves the impossible, is predicated on the right view of God and what He represents to us now as modelled by the life, the death, the burial, the resurrection, and the ascension of the Lord Jesus. Let your heart be renewed with these truths as you remove the old lies and replace with the truth.
Do it - the doing is the action we take in response to faith. As believers, God expects to do what He asked to do to lay hold of what He has graciously provided. God will not do for you what He asks you to do. Let me illustrate: when God said that we should rebuke the devil (James 4:7), you know it is useless asking God to rebuke the devil for you. God already defeated the devil, now He is asking you as “the enforcer” to work with Him to manifest the results. The “doing” is our responsibility in responding to what God has already done. In the Aramaic culture of the Bible, belief of the heart always leads to an action. There was never a concept of believing without acting. James 2:14-26 illustrates this succinctly when it says Abraham proved his faith in Jehovah by acting out that faith. James 2:17 TPT says: “So then faith that doesn’t involve action is phony”. If you believe, you must act. In fact, everybody acts out of their belief system. This is not acting as a function of performance Christianity but acting in response to what has already been made available to me.
Faith that doesn’t involve action is phony
Receive it - God moves to our acts of faith. God is a faith God who created everything by His words of faith. In receiving from God, we trust that God always responds to actions done in faith. Faith in who or what? Faith in His Son and what He has achieved for us at Calvary. Since faith is of the heart, we receive first from God at the heart level. When we act in faith, God always moves to release what we believed Him for in faith.
Tell it - the purpose of tell it is to share the testimonies of what God has done for you so that others can be encouraged to know that God, who is no respecter of persons, can do for one person what He has done for another. Telling it is giving glory to God by filling the atmosphere with words that speak of the goodness of God.
So, daily we will introduce a concept to you, and then provide you with a new covenant view of such concept and we will expect you to SBDRT it. Make sure that you do the daily affirmations. It is crucial to write God’s truth in your heart.

The Right Thinking Programme was created to help you identify and filter negative thoughts from your mind so that you are empowered to think right. We believe that right thinking leads to right believing and that right believing leads to right living. Transformation starts from the the way and how we think.
What is the process of change? · Decide and desire you want to transform
· Become aware of your thoughts
· Challenge your thoughts and beliefs with the Gospel
· Replace any wrong thought with the right ones consistently
· Say what God says about you
· Act as if the Word of God is true because it is
· Consistently dissociate from the past and associate with the future.
Categories of thought There are 3 categories of thoughts we will explore:
1) Thoughts about God
2) Thoughts about you
3) Thoughts about others
Thoughts about God – here we explore what have we believed about God. Are these true? Are these based on our cultural biases and religious thinking instead of what was revealed by the Lord Jesus?
Thoughts about you – here we explore the basis of your identity and self-talk. Are these based on human definitions or based on who God has declared you to be?
Thoughts about others – here we explore the better way to think about others and why this is crucial to our success.

Insecurities. Idolisation. Wannabes. Greed. Sycophancy. Suck-ups etc.... are some of the things that plague the human mind. But are believers immune from these? The Bible says all things are yours. And if all things are yours, why would you need to idolise anyone or anything?
You are not the victim of this world. You own it. It is not your master. It is your servant. Everything in the world and everything that happens on it is working together for your greatest and longest good.
All things are yours because you are Christ’s — Christ’s body, Christ’s bride, Christ’s subject, Christ’s sibling, Christ’s fellow-heir.
And why does belonging to Christ make all things yours? Because Christ is God’s. “You are Christ’s and Christ is God’s.”

There was a mystery that Apostle Paul was hard-pressed to deliver in Col 1:27 which is this: Christ living in me is the hope of glory. Because I am in Him, I should expect goodness and mercies to follow me all the days of my life. Romans 8:10-11. The practicalities of sonship are wrapped up in your right standing before God. As a son or daughter of God, God sees you as righteous as Himself. Eph 4:24 AMP.
Gal 6:15-16 says “It doesn’t matter whether we have been circumcised or not. What counts is whether we have been transformed into a new creation. May God’s peace and mercy be upon all who live by this principle; they are the new people of God.” This means that God’s peace and mercy are upon those who live by the principle of the new creation or the principle of sonship - those who see themselves the way God sees them.
If you embrace sonship it means you have embraced the truth that Christ is now your life.

The need to perform to prove our identity in Jesus always comes from the sense of lack. “Now when the tempter came to Him, he said, ‘If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread’ Why didn’t Jesus simply work a miracle to prove who He was? Satan, in his subtle mind game, was asking Jesus to prove His identity by His performance. Had Jesus wavered in His sense of identity through His relationship with God, had He followed the logic of the question, had He started asking Himself the wrong questions, He would have started down a path of works righteousness that would have led to His fall. His life would have become consumed with proving His identity instead of living His identity.
The main message the devil has for you—the message of all codependent teaching, the message of religion, the message that lies at the core of everything that has robbed the church of victory—is the charge, “You are not who God says you are. Therefore you do not have what God says you have. ” The question may not come to us in the same manner that it came to Jesus. For us it may be presented in the form of qualification. “What is it that actually qualifies me for the promises of God? What qualifies me to go to heaven? What qualifies me to receive a miracle in my time of need? Why should God answer my prayers? Or, most importantly, why should God love me?”

The Spirit of God in the believer confirms the believer’s sonship/daughtership. How does He do this? He cries “Abba Father” (Gal 4:6 TPT). The word “Abba” is the Aramaic word for “father.” It is also found in Mark 14:36 when Jesus used the same words to describe God when He was praying in the Garden of Gethsemane. It is amazing that in the middle of the greatest temptation and challenges, Jesus continued to call God Abba. Abba is a word of devotion and a term of endearment. Abba is “Daddy” or “Papa.” It is hard to imagine a closer relationship to have with God than to call him “Abba, our Beloved Father.”
As a son/daughter of God, you are the glory of God on earth. Although God will not share his glory with any other, we are no longer “another,” for we are one with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit through faith in Christ. In fact in John 17:22, Jesus already gave us His glory: For the very glory you have given to me I have given them, so that they will be joined together as one and experience the same unity that we enjoy.
Find out why it is dangerous to think of yourself as a servant of God instead of a son/daughter of God. All in the episode:

God’s eternal and perfect plan and purpose is to gain many divine sons and daughters for the satisfaction of His heart’s desire. Who are these many sons and daughters? They are the redeemed, regenerated, transformed and glorified humanity. Eph 1:5-6 TPT says For it was always in his perfect plan to adopt us as his delightful children, through our union with Jesus, the Anointed One, so that his tremendous love that cascades over us would glorify his grace—for the same love he has for his Beloved One, Jesus, he has for us. And this unfolding plan brings him great pleasure! God’s choice of you is linked to the word “predestination”. The word “predestination” used in Eph 1:5 means to “mark out or to determine before-hand. Predestination is a concept suggested by some to mean that God arbitrarily pre-selects people for salvation. There is no Scriptural support for the idea that God has extended grace to a limited number of individuals. In fact, the Scripture is quite clear as to the universal nature of the grace of God and the work of Jesus Christ. It was because He loved the world that He gave Himself for us (John 3: 16).
So, now that we understand the word predestination, let’s look at the word adoption. Adoption is from the Greek word “huiothesia” meaning “to be placed as a son” but what does that mean? It means that in regeneration, you received the nature of God but in adoption, you receive the position of a son of God. So every Christian obtains the place of a child and the right to be called a son the moment he/she believes. But what does it mean to you to be placed as a son of God? It means you have the right to ALL God has and IS. God is your Father and His door is NEVER shut against you!

God wants you to be jointly formed into the image of Jesus Christ. But what is the image of Jesus Christ we are to conform to? Is it physical, moral, or spiritual? To answer the question, let’s use the law of first mention where the word “image” is first used. In Gen 1:27 says So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. The word “image” in that scripture is the word “tseh'-lem” and it means to be a representative figure, a model or resemblance. Since God is Spirit (John 4:24), then it goes without saying that those created in His image will be created in His Spiritual image first. God created the spiritual nature of humans first – in His spiritual image then created the physical body of Adam later in Gen 2:7. So, when the word image is used, it is referring to the spiritual nature first and foremost.
So, Rom 8:29 is saying God destined us from the beginning to share the likeness or the image of His son. To share in or conform to the spiritual image of Jesus requires us to be born again. The moment you are born again, the Spirit of Christ comes into you. His spiritual image became yours. So, now you are conformed to the spiritual image of Jesus Christ. This is the reason why the scripture says in 1 John 4:17 that because as He is, so are we in this world. Right now, you are 100% like Jesus in your spirit. This is the beginning of your conformity to the image of Jesus Christ.
Affirmation: I am thankful Father that I am already conformed to the image of Jesus Christ the very moment I became born again. I choose by your grace to allow this reality to make me an effective witness of the Lord, dispensing the fragrance of His grace everywhere I go. So, help me God.

How many times have you heard the words "I am a sinner saved by grace"? Wrong statement. You were a sinner saved by grace. In God's eyes, your old life no longer exist. Gal 5:24 says those who belong to Christ have already experienced (past tense) crucifixion. How? In the reckoning of God, He sees the old Adamic nature of every believer as crucified with Jesus. When? Over 2000 years ago when Jesus died on that cross. Outcome? Every believer now has the nature of God and not the nature of Sin inherited from Adam. Believers do not have DUAL nature.
We may sometimes still give in to our desire to sin, but Christians are no longer people controlled by sin. Sin may compel us but we are NO LONGER sinners.
If you believe that the sin nature is still in you then you won’t have the victory over sins and temptation but imagine if you truly believe that you have a new nature, that belief, that realisation will empower you to overcome sin (Gal 5:16,25) and produce fruits of the Spirit. Right believing truly leads to right acting

At times when things are not going well in our lives, we may be quick to think that God is against us.
This negative thinking makes us feel "God is against us”.
This thought creates an atmosphere of punitive expectations because it makes us to subconsciously expect negative things to happen to us.
Now, since expectation is the womb of manifestation, we will attract to ourselves negative manifestation.
What causes this kind of thinking? Wrong teaching focusing on the Old testament – a view that shows God’s wrath on sins prior to the coming of the Lord Jesus but the TRUTH is, under the new covenant, God's wrath is already poured out on Jesus and if you have accepted Jesus as Lord and Saviour, God's wrath is never against you.
The work for your redemption is complete.

Hello, my name is Davies Bamigboye. I am reaching out to you to prayerfully consider partnering with The Light’s House. The visions of The Light’s House are two-fold:
1) To disciple believers in understanding their identity in Jesus and through practical Christianity, to empower such believers to walk in the fullness of what Chris died to give them.
2) Through these empowered and transformed believers, who carry the consciousness of who they are in Jesus and as such being effective witnesses for the Lord Jesus, we will collectively become ambassadors of Christ to the ends of the earth and to the glory of God, to preach, teach and demonstrate the message of radical grace to the world.
If our vision excites you, you can consider partnering with us either in monetary gifts or by volunteering for open positions within the ministry. Your support, from a cheerful heart, will help to spread the gospel of grace to the ends of the earth. You will know full well that you are setting people free from the bondage of religious thinking and sin.

Imaginations are nothing but thought patterns that can either serve us well or hinder us.
In today's podcast, I shared how to cast down negative imaginations and bring the same to obey the reality of Jesus Christ.
2 Cor 10:4-4 says - For although we live in the natural realm, we don’t wage a military campaign employing human weapons, using manipulation to achieve our aims. Instead, our spiritual weapons are energized with divine power to effectively dismantle the defenses behind which people hide. We can demolish every deceptive fantasy that opposes God and break through every arrogant attitude that is raised up in defiance of the true knowledge of God. We capture, like prisoners of war, every thought and insist that it bow in obedience to the Anointed One.
Paul is using the concept of taking prisoners of war, but in this case the prisoners held captive are faulty patterns of thought that defy God’s authority.
Learn to take those negative thoughts as PoW.

Jericho was on lockdown because of the invasion of the children of Isreal but there was a prostitute named Rahab, that got saved because she protected the spies from Isreal from being captured by the soldiers of Jericho.
A promise was made to her to bound the scarlet line on her window so that when her country is invaded, she was saved because of the scarlet line hanging from her window.
What is the benefit of the scarlet line to us today? What can we learn from how Rahab was saved? How can this point us to the blood of Jesus to protect us in the midst of impeding dangers?

Heb 1:3 says The Son is the dazzling radiance of God’s splendor, the exact expression of God’s true nature—his mirror image! He holds the universe together and expands it by the mighty power of his spoken word. He accomplished for us the complete cleansing of sins, and then took his seat on the highest throne at the right hand of the majestic One.
This means Jesus is the Sprout of God, the image of his glory and He is God’s mirror image and exact expression” (the reflection of God). So, to know God's true nature, you must look at the person and character of Jesus.

God always makes provision available to you on the journey of life. We must learn to identify these provisions through a dependence on the Holy Spirit. When Elijah was asked to go to Zarephath, he was able to identify the widow of Zarephath through his relationship with God.
The widow was a destiny helper chosen by God to preserve Elijah's life.
As Elijah moved from here to a place called there, he depended on God's faithfulness to sustain him there. You may be thinking that your help has to come from a particular source, this message challenges that. God is able to help you through any means.
Elijah was helped by a woman living in Sidon (a non-Israelite - see Mt 15:21-28 for confirmation that Sidon is not part of Isreal). Your help is coming outside of your circle, outside of your church, outside of your folks. If God can use the butler to help Joseph get to the palace (Gen 41:9-end), He can do it for you.If He can use Cyrus to restore the Israelites (Is 45:1-7), He will. If He used David to restore Mephibosheth (2 Samuel 9), He will.
God’s help to you will come from uncommon sources

Expectation creates hope - a longing for something new, for a better life, a better job, a better environment, etc.
Without expectation, it is difficult to prepare and plan. A woman expecting a baby goes about buying kid's clothing in preparation for her yet unborn child. In today's podcast, the Lord encouraged us on the need to be expectant.
We looked at the life of the crippled man at the Beautiful Gate (Acts 3:1-10) who gazed intently at Peter and John, EXPECTING to RECEIVE and how he encountered a life-transforming experience.
There are nuggets of wisdom in today's podcast that will help someone who is on the verge of losing hope to know that regardless of how hopeless the situation may look, God brings beauty out of crippleness but He expects us to be expectant. When we are expectant, we trust the Giver regardless of how bad it looks.
Get ready, your miracle is about to be birthed. Listen and be expectant.
