Episode 71 and my guest Saralee Cassidy shares with us how her own journey led her to rebel against societal beliefs and liberated herself by being true to herself. She now works with clients and groups to help give them the freedom to be their most authentic selves.  A beautiful lady and a beautiful conversation.  Saralee Cassidy has been practicing and teaching Seiki-soho (Japanese breathing awareness) through yearly events and gatherings since 2011. She has ongoing connections with the international Seiki community, and wishes to bring Japan to Ireland. She says, ‘Japanese healing has the power to re-connect Ireland to its authentic natural wisdom, connection to nature, life and breath.’ She has an MA in Counselling and Psychotherapy and is specialised in Stress Reduction and trauma informed body therapy. She is also a Terra Mai Reiki master, an SRT therapist to advanced levels, an Accunect future of medicine practitioner and somatic experiencing enthusiastic. Her clinics are based in the historical quarter of Limerick  by  St John's Castle at 19 Nicolas Street. Her work empowers people to understand the nature of energy moving through the body, she offers physical therapies that create emotional and mental release from the body. Her work, blends Japanese healing craft with Irish nature, and a lot of her events take place in natural settings. Recently she was asked by international explorer Pat Falvey to create a retreat that incorporated hikes and body being which was a resounding success. She says: "people are looking for more connection with themselves through nature and body being activities. That's our natural home. She helps people through stress reduction therapy and trauma informed body work and therapy. Both the Japanese and ancient Celtic traditions look to the body as part of nature, tapping into a space that utilises the power of non judgement. Through breath observation, movement and resonance, one can find one’s authenticity, beyond the stress and conditions of the noisy world. These hybrid healing traditions offer a new space of focused concentration in nature. This space of non-judgement allows the body to find itself beyond its cultural conditioning, rediscovering its own inner movement and natural connection. Such findings release personal restrictions and produce real feelings of well being, bringing the mind into a deeper presence.  She has 12 years experience in working one to one and retreats. This led Shauna on a journey of deep personal awareness and healing in which she was supported to become the best version of herself. She now wants to help the many healers, therapists, holistic practitioners that need support in getting their gifts out into the world, Shauna wants to support these service-based healers to create a financially fulfilling and energetically aligned business in which they can fulfil their soul's purpose and help the human collective.  Shauna just launched her new programme - Starseed Group Coaching which starts on the 25th November 2021 - a safe and supportive space for like-minded businesswomen to come together and have Shauna support and coach them in all areas of their business practise.  A wonderful chat with a wonderful person and I wish her continued success for the future.  For more information please check out Shauna's website or find her on Instagram or on LinkedIn

What an episode! Such an exciting day 11.11 and my episode 47 adds up to 11 so it is divine timing to have this conversation with you all today.  Thank you to my guest Joanna Hennon for your time, energy and enthusiasm. I could have talked to you all day long. An incredible insight into how we think of manifesting our dreams and goals and in doing so re-inventing the way we shift our reality from looking too far ahead and allowing ourselves to bring that version of ourselves into this moment whilst embracing the opportunities available to us right now! I give some guidance to Joanna, which is also guidance for you all. Joanna also shares guidance for you the listeners in the podcast.  Joanna shares with us the journey she has had to get to her new home and start her new life in Ireland, it wasn't easy and not the way she 'thought' it would be, we discuss how sometimes we do not have to know what our lives will look like, but to trust in the process.  She shares the ways in which she helps her clients with her monthly messages from her team in Spirit - Avalon and how she is helping them become soulsmart, bringing more joy, fulfillment, meaning and life satisfaction into their daily lives. If you are intrigued by intuition, manifesting, tarot and oracle cards, then soulsmart living will change your life.  Check out Joanna on her website on Instagram for her workshops, courses and membership to The Elevator

Episode 46 and this is me sharing my vulnerable self today, even now as I type this description, there is a little bit of my stomach turning over and I speak gently to it and say "it's okay, you are safe". I wanted to share my thoughts and feelings with you all today as I believe it is so important to be authentic and let you all know that I do not have it all worked out, I too have days that I feel lost and isolated within myself - there is no particular reason, but I am okay with being real. In doing so, I am coming back to basics and allowing myself just to be!

I will also bring you on a guided meditation journey to connect with yourself and expand your energy - even when you have no idea where you are expanding it to!? Sometimes we just need to get out of our own heads and allow ourselves to flow in the direction of our hearts. I know I need to connect with myself more but sometimes there is resistance to it, sitting with resistance can be healing in itself.

I hope this helps you in some small way today or next week and if you feel it is something you would like to share with others, please do.

Love flows when we allow it to flow freely.

Love to you all

Sharon

Welcome to this wonderful new month ahead and all that it has to offer us. I have felt guided over the past few weeks to help guide others to connect to their true authentic selves on a deeper level through meditation and a spiritual circle I am starting on 6th October.

This is an opportunity to connect, embrace, love and discover our true potential.

This guided meditation helps you to connect to your soul and expand your energy into the awareness that you can do anything you set your mind to, first you must know who you are, acknowledging and accepting yourself as you are and allowing the power from within to flow in all directions

May your journey be blessed.

Episode 41 and my guest today is Kayla Cooley, a social worker and postgraduate researcher in Limerick Institute of Technology under The Loss & Grief Research group. Kayla's research focuses on suicide and the internet, pro-suicide websites and what we in the helping spaces may be able to learn from them. I learned so much from this conversation with Kayla and how She is empowering others with knowledge and understanding.

Most people in Ireland have been touched by suicide in some way, someone dies by suicide every 40 seconds.

We don't hold back in this conversation, I talk about my own suicidal distress 26 years ago and how connection not only to ourselves, but to others is a huge part in finding a path to survival and healing.

In 2016 Kayla co-founded a voluntary suicide intervention organisation - responding to people in suicidal distress 365 nights a year. She is also the director of Driving Change Training & Consultancy - educating groups and organisations across Ireland on suicide and related issues.

"you do not have to be a doctor to save a life - education is the key to suicide prevention"

With each new month and my newsletter being published, I am going to add a monthly guided meditation to my podcast series also. It is my way of saying Thank You for listening and sharing.

In this guided meditation we journey with a smile into the heart centre and greet whatever stands before us, whether that be anger, sadness or anxiety, we see it as a teacher into what needs healing in that moment. Just like little children, we sometimes do not have the words to express what we feel, but just holding them with love and compassion can help so much. In this meditation we do that for ourselves.

I hope you enjoy and it will bring you healing on all levels.

With love

Sharon

Today I am by myself and reflecting on the ever changing parts of my own life. After a conversation with my friend this morning and comparing our 'symptoms' it was so lovely to speak so openly and honestly and have a good laugh about it too.

I am learning and growing into this phase of my life and allowing myself to be kinder and more compassionate to my body.

I feel this is a very sacred and special time and I am open to all the new inspirations and wisdom that comes my way.

I would love to hear your stories too.

Love Sharon x

In this week's episode I chat with Rosie McMahon a transformational coach from Ballynacally in Co. Clare. Her mission is to help women transform and step into their own power as She has done for over 20 years now. From a young age, Rosie had listened to the inner critic and it led her to a period of isolation and negativity. Her adventurous and free spirit, or boldness as her Mother would call it, shone through and helped Rosie to build on going out to explore the world and finding the joy and freedom her soul knew was waiting for her. She found that in her partner at the time, but at the age of 23, Rosie had just had her first baby and on the same night as the christening, her partner died in his sleep. Her world came crashing down around her. We talk about how she coped with the grief and despair, what helped her to keep going each day and what it taught her. An amazing and inspirational lady, Rosie shows us that courage comes from small steps and being willing to invest in yourself is an ongoing journey of personal development. She has gone onto to find new love in Michaél and have another three daughters. Rosie works with women over 35 and offers - One to One exclusive programmes, day retreats, Lean Queen Programmes and has a free facebook group that is open to all. She has dreamt of a retreat space to call her own for many years and presently the second story is being added. Watch this space! An amazing in depth conversation with Peter Kelly, a native of Waterford Ireland, who has worked through the chaos of his life to find clarity, peace and self-acceptance. He shares this in his work as a poet, writer, teacher and guide. An explorer of the untouched regions of the subconscious mind, Peter writes about his journey from darkness into light in his new poetry book 'The Phoenix Birth'.

Having experienced many difficulties throughout his life including falling into drug and alcohol addiction and a spiralling depression, Peter began writing again while serving a prison sentence for drug charges in his early twenties. Getting clean while in prison, Peter went on to writing album reviews, artist biographies and press releases while working for some time in the music industry and using poetry to accompany artist releases under his own label. After leaving the music industry Peter worked within the corporate world, climbing the ladder to a reputable position, all the while working on his self-improvement and a greater calling, eventually leading him to his true path in helping others. Part of this greater calling has been his reintroduction to his true self and his open and truthful raw expression of his journey thus far. By exposing the truths from a lifetime of struggle to overcome his demons both within and without, those that distract us from our true great direction has been Peter’s greatest gift in touching the hearts and minds of those who face the same struggles in a world of masked pain.

We talk about the need for balance of the masculine and feminine energies and finding the source of light within us all, letting that flame burn bright, allowing our true and authentic self to be truly seen. We touch on plant medicine, shedding the layers of programming and how our subconscious mind relays information to us in symbols.

Peter exposes his insecurities in his poetry and in doing so draws the reader in to feel his passion and purpose. His raw vulnerability jumps out of each line whilst questioning the patterns of pain and self-sabotage endured when all he truly wanted was connection - to himself and to the world.

I have known Marian for years and am so blessed to have her as one of my closest friends and also my 'go-to' person for my own self-care needs. I met Marian over 13 years ago at a time in her life that she was experiencing huge anxiety and post traumatic stress disorder, I believe the Universe aligned our paths so we could meet up and connect that day and it was a soul connection that both of us would learn and benefit from immensely.

Marian shares with us how from her birth right through to her teenage years that her physical body manifested the stress and fears She was unable to process from a young age and how her breakdown led her to find healing and now is a sought after therapist in helping others.

Marian is also one of the 13 therapists that collaborated with me in our book Awaken Your Wellbeing in which we share with our readers our own personal stories and what tools and techniques we learned or used in our own healing or recovery. Marian shares the highs and lows with so much honesty in the book and many of her clients testify as to the support She has given to them in their own journey to well-being.

You can find out more about Marian's work through her website www.bioenergyhealthcare.ie or find Marian on Instagram

Today it is just me exploring that age old topic of what is the meaning of life, who am I and what is our purpose?  Is there more than our existence in the physical world, does our consciousness survive after physical death?  How we can become more aware of the energy around us and open up to the wonders of the universe.  This is part 1 of this conversation, I hope you enjoy.
