Over the past 25 years Tidy have released some of the most iconic tracks in Hard House & Hard Trance that defined the genres. Following on from Milked, Rinsed and Flogged we present our huge new remix series 'Drained'

UK Hard House & Hard Trance label run by Andy Pickles & Amadeus Mozart, better known as The Tidy Boys. The label general manager is Lee Haslam.

From January 2005 the labels Tidy Trax, Tidy Two and Untidy Trax have merged to simply become 'Tidy'. Tidy White & Synapse have also since stopped operating.

The label is up and running again from a new base in Armley, Leeds with an in house studio.

Tidy Trax put on events across the county and labels Tidy Trax, Tidy Two and Untidy Trax are releasing music on vinyl, CD, USB and digitally.

Tidy Weekender 25 completely sold out in 2021.

The Bonkers series was one of the leading happy hardcore compilation series in the UK. The first release was in 1996 on record label React (now Resist), it was available on 2xCD and 2xTC formats. DJs DJ Sharkey and Hixxy were signed by React and the pair released "Bonkers", the first in a series of albums which has become the best-selling hardcore compilation series of all time. The series is on its nineteenth release as of 11 May 2009, with Bonkers: The Original Hardcore.

Bonkers 1-15 was also licensed to "Get over the records" in 2005 for Japanese branded releases. With Japanese edition Bonkers vol. 1 on going on sale 26 October 2005 with a full TV advert in Japanese. "Get over the records" only released Bonkers 1-7 in the Japanese market and have since 2007 stopped releasing albums altogether.

Bonkers has also been licensed for local release in Australia via Central Station records.

Frequent contributors to the Bonkers collection include: Hixxy, DJ Dougal, DJ Sharkey and Scott Brown.

In June 2008, Hardcore online news site 'happyhardcore.com' announced that British dance label All Around the World (AATW) had purchased the rights to Bonkers from what would have been volume 18, released in 2009. There was speculation about a change of label for some time, but AATW finally confirmed this. The UK Hardcore genre, which has seen a recent unprecedented rise in popularity, has already helped AATW in securing number one chart positions with its Clubland Xtreme Hardcore releases. The label also claim to want to make the Bonkers brand bigger, suggesting using Universal Music TV as their distributor for future releases, who they use for releasing their successful Clubland compilations. All Around the World restarted the Bonkers series on 11 May 2009 under the title Bonkers: The Original Hardcore and was mixed by Hixxy, Sharkey and Chris Unknown.

In 2019, Ravers Reunited revived the Bonkers name for their Ravers Reunited goes Bonkers events.

In 2021, Scottish Internet Radio Station Beat 106 created the Bonkers Beats radio series alongside Hixxy, Sharkey, Dougal and Scott Brown. The show features previous bonkers contributors.

Music has always been in Degs’ blood, an accomplished pianist, guitarist and singer with militant flow and a golden voice, spanning eclectic tastes moulded by a musical family.

The portal to the world of drum & bass was opened for Degs after first hearing the sounds of Bad Company and London Elektricity at 15 years old. Six years down the line, he picked up the mic and got on the stage. He swiftly became one of jump up’s best kept secrets, earning himself resident spots at shows across Europe.

Years later, he’s honed his craft and become adept in many styles. With a strong R&B and hip hop influence, his songwriting and MCing soon took a soulful turn proving the adaptability and musical prowess of this accomplished songwriter. Degs draws upon an a broad set of lyrical forms, fusing fast sprays with harmonious singing inspired by the likes of Fats, Eksman and Dynamite. It’s no easy feat to master the dual-craft of rapping and singing, with few MC’s possessing the skills shown by the latest artist to join the Hospital family.

His debut single Poveglia (feat De:Tune) was an overwhelming success which garnered support in clubs across the globe and became one of the D+B anthems of summer 2018. With over 500,000 streams on his debut single, he moved from strength to strength, following ‘Poveglia’ up with a sterling ‘Mixtape Sprayout’, featuring unique verses sitting atop iconic Hospital classics, including the ‘Black Sheep’ freestyle which brought him to the attention of London Elektricity.

Now one of the most sought-after MCs on the circuit, the future is exceedingly bright for Hospital’s most recent vocalist.

Faithless are among the few club acts who have enjoyed sustained commercial success with singles and albums, but then it's no mere coincidence that they've valued introspective and outward-looking songwriting as much as dancefloor appeal, and have remained curious and progressive in their approach to production, mixing trip-hop, house, trance, dub, and even drum'n'bass. They got off to a fast start with "Salva Mea," "Insomnia," and "Reverence," a trio of consecutive singles that hit the U.K. Top Ten across 1996 and 1997. This paved the way for four additional Top Ten hits, an impressive run of albums including Sunday 8PM (1998), Outrospective (2001), and No Roots (2004), and their crowning achievement, the quadruple-platinum anthology Forever Faithless: The Greatest Hits (2005). They've since released To All New Arrivals (2006) and their fourth Top Ten studio album The Dance (2010), announced their breakup, and have made a couple returns, including one at the dawn of the 2020s, All Blessed (2020)

The current, official lineup of the band consists of Bliss And Rollo. Faithless has released seven studio albums, with total sales of the first six exceeding 15 million records worldwide. The band announced they would separate after their Passing the Baton dates at Brixton Academy on 7 and 8 April 2011. However, in February 2015, Jazz, Bliss and Rollo reunited to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the band, but Jazz left to form Maxi Jazz & The E-Type Boys later that year.

Anfisa Letyago was born and raised in Siberia, and moved to Italy being 18 years old, where she starts her DJ career.

In very short time she manages to bring her DJ sets to an even wider audience, playing in top european clubs in Naples, Rome, Milan, Paris, Tirana, Bucarest, Montecarlo, Cannes, Zurich, San Petersburg and many other locations, increasing her professional confidence and experience, and above all, engaging important partnerships: matter of fact she’s challenged to be opening DJ act for big personalities whom she caught attention from, such as Cube Guys, Planet Funk, Inna and Daddy’s Groove.

She currently collaborates with the fashion brand Italia Independent, by Lapo Elkan, for which she develops and co-produces an official compilation, filling its stores with her music selection.

Nevertheless, her sets are the soundtrack of the Italia Independent official party, and other events hosted by Jeep, Alfa Romeo, Kia Motors, Salmoiraghi & Viganò, and Levi’s.

Anfisa recently becomes the testimonial for the company Hanny Deep, which choses her as a representative young talent, and launches a special clothing brand named after Anfisa Letyago.

Her latest project is an original performance show, “Plugged”, developed alongside the singer Iossa, known through Daddy’s Groove, for whom he wrote and performed the world hit #SURRENDER.

Her musical influences primarily derive by her passion and intuition to merge the smooth tasty sounds of the old school house with the sharp and square EDM of the new era, making of her rock attitude the effective glue needed to bring pure energy to every party she performs for.

Richard Mowatt, commonly known by his stage name Solarstone (formerly spelled Solar Stone), is an Irish trance DJ and producer based in Wales. The music project Solarstone was founded as a trio, and also used the pseudonyms Young Parisians, Liquid State and Z2. Over the years, Solarstone has developed a reputation for keeping to the original and classic trance sound. He is considered to be a veteran by fans in the trance music scene. Since 2012, Solarstone has been pushing forward a Pure Trance movement through tours where he aims to keep the trance genre true to its roots.

The music project Solar Stone was founded in Dudley in 1997 by Richard Mowatt, Andy Bury and Sam Tierney. Since 1994 the trio had been known as the Space Kittens. Sam Tierney left the group in 1997 owing to musical differences, and in 2006 Andy Bury also left, leaving Mowatt as the sole member.

Solarstone has had three major hit singles in the UK. The most successful was Seven Cities, which reached number 39 in 1999. The song was one of the earliest and most famous examples of the Balearic trance genre, and has been re-released three times. The song has sold over 500,000 copies.

In 2003 and 2004 Solarstone collaborated with Scott Bond, releasing the three singles "3rd Earth", "Naked Angel" and "Red Line Highway". The group's debut album, AnthologyOne, was released in 2006. In 2008, the second studio album, Rain Stars Eternal, was released.

Solarstone has also produced several remixes and collaborated with renowned trance artists such as Paul Oakenfold.

In 2014, Solarstone and Giuseppe Ottaviani began a collaboration project known as PureNRG. PureNRG have since released a number of singles, and perform live on stage regularly.

Dave Whelan and Mike Di Scala met each other in Liverpool record shop 3 Beat Records and were both disc jockeys at nightclubs in the city. Di Scala had previously released music as a member of Rezonance Q and Ultrabeat and also as a solo artist. Dave Whelan hosted his own Jubilee club night since 2004 and the two were resident DJs at Society nightclub. They began producing music together as members of The Chosen Few, along with Les Calvert,[6] and the trio also managed the Adhesive record label as a sublabel of All Around the World. The Chosen Few released a cover of the Tears for Fears song "Everybody Wants to Rule the World" (Adhesive, 2004) and a remix of the original song appeared on Tears Roll Down (Greatest Hits 82–92).

As a duo Whelan and Di Scala released several remixes as under various names such as The Bassline Hustlers, Men from Mars and Da Mode. Using the name Pawn Shop, they released a single "Shot Away" (All Around the World, 2006), based on a sample of "Gimme Shelter" by The Rolling Stones, which peaked at number 100 on the UK Singles Chart. Following this, they released several singles as Whelan & Di Scala on various labels, including their own label Bachelor Pad Recordings. The two DJs also released music using other aliases such as Wheels & Disco, Mancini and Shake n' Jack. From 2008 to 2014, Dave Whelan was also a radio presenter on Juice FM.

In 2010, they released their first recordings as CamelPhat on their own label Vice Records. As CamelPhat, the duo initially wore wrestling masks to conceal their identity because they "just wanted the people to judge the music and not us". In 2011, Dave Whelan and Mike Di Scala became owners of a Liverpool nightclub Mansion. The duo released numerous singles and EPs on various record labels and some CamelPhat songs appeared on the Ultratop charts in Belgium, such as "The Act" (Spinnin' Deep, 2014), "Paradigm" featuring AME (Axtone, 2015), "Constellations" (Spinnin' Deep, 2015), "Make 'Em Dance" from Light Night EP (Suara, 2016) and "Hangin' Out with Charlie" from Hangin' with Charlie EP (Suara, 2017).

The duo's collaboration with Elderbrook on "Cola" (Defected, 2017) was an international hit single which peaked at number one on the US Billboard Dance Club Songs chart and was nominated for Best Dance Recording at the 60th Annual Grammy Awards. They released further singles and EPs and had other hit singles with "Panic Room" (Loudmouth Music, 2018), a collaboration with Au/Ra and "Breathe" (Pryda Presents, 2018), a collaboration with Cristoph featuring Jem Cooke. In December 2018, CamelPhat signed to RCA Records. In June 2019, they released "Be Someone", a collaboration with Jake Bugg, as the lead single from their upcoming debut album.

Well it's Loading Artist... Again and I thought I'd go Happy Hardcore with the fantastic HIXXY.

Hixxy or DJ Hixxy (a.k.a. Ian Hicks, born 03 August 1975) is from Portsmouth, UK and his DJ roots can be found with an obsession for US Hip Hop and Rap and watching DMC Championship Videos.

Getting into rave music in the 1990s, he became resident DJ for Overload (promoted by Supreme on the Isle Of Wight, under the name DJ Hix (he later added an extra "X" so his DJ name looked bigger on flyers). Whilst DJing here he met lots of the top DJs of the period, including his DJ hero, Carl Cox. He also struck up a friendship with Dougal and began pestering him about setting up a label. He also started hanging around the Fusion record shop in Portsmouth, constantly asking if he could use the studio upstairs which was manned by Sunset Regime. He eventually got into the studio and released his first track, People's Party. Ramos also advised him to add an extra "Y" to his DJ name, as Hixxy was what everyone called him anyway.

1995 saw his friendship with Dougal lead to the Essential Platinum label being born. His track, Toytown was one of the biggest hardcore tunes of the period and led to him meeting with React about licensing it. Whilst in their offices the conversation turned to putting together a compilation, and the legendary Bonkers series was born.

After this period, he began working in Stu. J.'s Movement record shop in Southampton, as well as helping him promote his Adrenalin raves. He also hosted the happy hardcore show on Kiss FM.

With the hardcore scene in decline in the late 90s, Hixxy thought about leaving the scene, and experimented with slower, trancier sounds. When hardcore recovered and set up the Raver Baby label and parties. He also co-founded the rave organisation/label HTID (Hardcore Til I Die) with Mark Lambert. He went on to promote the Uproar events as well.

As of 2014, he is now signed to DJ Breeze's Future World label. He has also left HTID.

Andy Farley was born Down Under in Brisbane in 1966 and came to England in 1968, when his parents moved back. The mid-eighties was spent collecting 60s R&B and Soul records, which he built up into a huge collection, eventually selling them when the beats took hold of him and buying his first set of decks with the profits!

Farley began clubbing on the Birmingham gay scene in 1987 and was totally blown away by all the Hi-NRG music of the time. What really impressed him was that all these great tunes were being mixed together. He realised that this was what he really wanted to do and took the first steps on the road to being a superstar DJ.

His first major break came when the late, great Tony de Vit was resident at The Nightingale Club. De Vit changed his music policy drastically from Hi-NRG to Belgian rave , a bit of a culture shock for many people at the time. Farley was asked to come in and play the Hi-NRG stuff in his place and that, as they say, was that.

Changing to house music around 1993, Andy began to play at other clubs in and around Birmingham, before beginning his residency at Sundissential in 1996 and he hasn?t looked back since, guesting all around the UK and indeed the rest of the world.

How many artists / producers can count Jay Z, Snoop Dogg and Pharell as fans as well as drum and bass’ finest Andy C, Hype and Pendulum; enjoy heavy rotation in the hands of dub-step royalty such as N-Type and Skream; and have each release enthusiastically supported by Annie Mac and Zane Lowe? This is what Saul Milton and Will Kennard, producing under the name Chase & Status, have achieved in 5 years, and the highlight of their young career so far has been their debut LP ‘More Than Alot’ which has helped turned them into a unique urban phenomenon, and the biggest crossover act to come out of the underground since Pendulum.

They met at Manchester University through their mutual love of drum and bass in the mid nineties and have DJ’d ever since, waiting until 2004 for their first production, a remix for Future Cut (better known these days for their production work with Lily Allen). It was followed by a series of drum and bass anthems for the biggest underground labels including ‘Duppy Man’ for Breakbeat Kaos (home of Pendulum’s platinum selling debut album) in 2005 and ‘The Druids’ EP for DJ Zinc’s trendsetting Bingo label a year later. Their production work for Jenna G’s ‘In Love’ the same year earned them their first award, ‘Best Single’, as voted by over 40,000 listeners for the BBC 1Xtra Drum & Bass Awards.

Despite a high volume of releases on Ram Records and constant DJ work, Chase & Status managed to mastermind and release their debut album last year. Packed with the kind of drum and bass anthems that helped build their reputation, it also features tracks which show the diversity of their work: such as ‘Pieces’ featuring Plan B and the Radio 1 A-List single ‘Against All Odds’ featuring Kano. The result of the album is a thrilling journey through the UK urban scene and deserves its great title: ‘More Than Alot’. One track from the album ‘Eastern Jam’ was recently spotted by Snoop Dogg and newly released in April 2009 as ‘Snoop Dogg Millionaire’.

Chase & Status have recently been hailed as ‘The most exciting producers in the UK today’ by Pharell Williams of NER*D fame, and the excitement around the pair doesn’t stop there. They have been asked to remix tracks by some of the world’s hottest artists including recent remixes of Jay Z’s ‘Death Of Auto-Tune’, The Prodigy�s ‘Invaders Must Die’ and White Lies ‘Death’.

When it comes to a career the magnitude of Paul Oakenfold it’s hard to encompass one of the true legends of electronic music into just words. For over 3 decades he has elevated and shaped an entire genre and remains one of the leading forces in the global music scene today.His most recent works have taken him from the DJ booth of the worlds hottest nightspots and festivals to the studio producing soundtracks for Hollywood blockbuster movies. His diversity in artistry and ability has earned him accolades from critics and fans alike. Garnering him not 1 but 2 Grammy Nominations for his works.But lets take a step back. The son of a musician, Paul came up as a young DJ in the late '70s spinning Funk in Covent Garden. Not what some might have expected from one of Trances preeminent masters. But he knew then music would be his life. In the '80s 2 life-changing trips took place. The first in 1984 where he spent several months living in New York City working as A&R man for the famed Champion Records signing DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince, as well as Salt-n-Pepa. He also became promoter and British agent for the Beastie Boys and Run-D.M.C.The second trip and more contemporary influence was in 1987 which brought Paul to the White Isle of Ibiza. Here he discovered the Balearic sound that flowed through the Ibiza air at clubs such as Amnesia. Inspired, he took the music and experiences back to the UK and became its ambassador. Paul returned often holding residencies at Amnesia and Pacha in Ibiza. Around the same time Ministry Of Sound in London was opening and tauted Paul as their first resident. However it was his famed residency at UK super-club Cream in Liverpool that brought Paul global respect as a master of his art.
