Hey I'm Joan! Welcome to RelateTable: A Much Love Mom Podcast. The Podcast that takes you into a space where we can talk about the realities of human existence. You see, people wanna listen & learn from people they can relate to, that person doesn't have to be an expert, but with what you are struggling with at the moment, another person might just have a better answer than somebody else.
So I wanna invite you to the table with me as we seek to have meaningful conversations about: Time, Family, Friendship, Change, Society, Culture, Sickness, Pain, Success, Empathy, Joy, Aging & Mortality.
At 18, I took upon my very first part-time job as a newscaster in a radio station located inside my university campus. Since then I have never stopped hustling. Even when I was already employed in an American owned Export Company I was still doing side hustles. Hosting events, doing voice-over for commercials, scriptwriting for advertisements, writing online content, and recently our Youtube channel just qualified for monetization, started this Podcast, cooked meals at home and sold them online. All these while running Belle Mariee Weddings & Events Services. Talk about major hustling!
Having just one job is so yesterday. According to statistics, one in four of us runs a small business on the side – and it's putting valuable extra cash in our pockets.
Today, with the rise of collaborative economy platforms, it has never been easier for you or for me to monetize your skills and services.
So why haven't you started doing a side hustle? What is keeping you?
In this episode entitled: YOU NEED A SIDE HUSTLE, we will tackle the hindrances of having a successful side hustle. From the stigma that is attached to it, the fear that often shuts it down and overcoming it. And of course, setting up for success. We will look at what's involved – backed by the experiences of my successful hustler friends.
Do you want to create a life that you look forward to waking up every single day? Start a SIDE HUSTLE now!
In this first episode of the podcast we talk about the most important relationship you have in the whole world - your relationship with yourself.
Some people think that putting yourself first and putting in your best interest at the top of your to-do list means you’re selfish but it really just means you are giving your body, mind and soul what it needs so that you can give more and give the better version of yourself to the people you love, your family, your friends and others.
So make this the year that you choose yourself. Put yourself first. Commit to more self-love.
