This podcast offers an insightful yet lighthearted approach to heavy topics and shines spotlight on young adults trying to make a difference in the DMV. This podcast also features interviews, story times, and funny anecdotes to keep listeners entertained while being educated.
For the last episode of the first season of The ^Black View, Brianna sits alone to discuss the past episodes and encounters with her guests. She reflects on all the things she learned from this experience and lays out what she wants for this podcast in the future. She takes a moment of silence to reflect on the black lives lost and the recent black trauma that black people have been exposed to yet again, taking time to commemorate black lives lost recently. Brianna reflects on her past collaborations and notes some specific podcasts to listen to of other local black, young podcasters trying to make a difference as well. She lays out what is to be expected next season and is even looking for a consistent co-host to do better episodes with. Finally, she ends with a big thank you to the people who helped in her journey and a note on how to take care of yourself even in the midst of stress and worry. In the precursor to the season finale of The ^Black View, Brianna sits down with upcoming DMV artist Supremedae. They discuss his personal reason for pursuing music, what he hopes to do in his music career, and how he plans to uplift others in the area. Supremedae talks about his recent project, Mightaswell, and talks about the impact he hopes to have on people’s lives and when we can expect more music! He describes how music changed his life and how one artist in particular inspired him to pursue the creation of music. Brianna interviews local producer and singer-songwriter Ro Monclo. Ro discusses how Southern music and culture influenced his music and his creative process and describes how vital it is to keep a conscious and open mindset while creating music. He explains how being conscious of his mindset allows him to communicate his music thoroughly and with passion, making each new record, beat, or song better than his last one. Ro also discusses how he incorporates reading and planting into his daily routine, bettering his mental health and allowing him to connect with himself on a deeper level. By creating healthy, mindful practices, Ro is able to produce and emote better into his music, which has already opened massive doors for him in the music industry. Ro also discusses what he enjoys to do in his free time, like watching movies and reading books, and recommends his personal favorites for listeners to enjoy.

In the seventh episode of The ^Black View, Brianna invites Gabriel Agyei Jr., a marketing consultant currently working on publishing an app to assist creatives with outreach with one another and to market their craft and skills on a global platform. He discusses the projected launch of the app and how he expects it to benefit the creative market on a large scale. Gabe also dives deep into parental relations, recounting experiences that shaped who he is today and how he wants to continue traditional African standards in his future home. In this episode, The ^Black View collaborates with another up and coming podcast, MELTalk, to discuss the realities of being a young, black podcaster, the irresponsible actions of our peers during the pandemic, and how the COVID-19 vaccine affects the black community. During this mashup episode, the women explore the effects of quarantine on one's mental health, the lack of governmental leadership and support America received during these trying times, and the mental distance between celebrities/public figures and regular citizens during the pandemic.
