Happy to share a beautiful Hindi poem - December Aur January Ka Rishta. Very meaningful. Just months but recreated as two individuals, two entities, two different personalities and yet complementing each other. कितना अजीब है ना, दिसंबर और जनवरी का रिश्ता? जैसे पुरानी यादों और नए वादों का किस्सा... दोनों काफ़ी नाज़ुक है दोनो मे गहराई है, दोनों वक़्त के राही है, दोनों ने ठोकर खायी है... यूँ तो दोनों का है वही चेहरा-वही रंग, उतनी ही तारीखें और उतनी ही ठंड... पर पहचान अलग है दोनों की अलग है अंदाज़ और अलग हैं ढंग... एक अन्त है, एक शुरुआत जैसे रात से सुबह, और सुबह से रात... एक मे याद है दूसरे मे आस, एक को है तजुर्बा, दूसरे को विश्वास... दोनों जुड़े हुए है ऐसे धागे के दो छोर के जैसे, पर देखो दूर रहकर भी साथ निभाते है कैसे... जो दिसंबर छोड़ के जाता है उसे जनवरी अपनाता है, और जो जनवरी के वादे है उन्हें दिसम्बर निभाता है... कैसे जनवरी से दिसम्बर के सफर मे ११ महीने लग जाते है... लेकिन दिसम्बर से जनवरी बस १ पल मे पहुंच जाते है!! जब ये दूर जाते है तो हाल बदल देते है, और जब पास आते है तो साल बदल देते है... देखने मे ये साल के महज़ दो महीने ही तो लगते है, लेकिन... सब कुछ बिखेरने और समेटने का वो कायदा भी रखते है... दोनों ने मिलकर ही तो बाकी महीनों को बांध रखा है, . अपनी जुदाई को दुनिया के लिए एक त्यौहार बना रखा है..! 😊Happy year ending 😊

राधा का अलौकिक प्रेम
उस वक्त का है किस्सा ,उस वक्त की कहानी गोकुल को छोड़ने की जब कृष्ण जी ने ठानी रो रो के गोपियों ने रुकने की इल्तज़ा की श्रीकृष्ण जी ने लेकिन उनकी न एक मानी जाते हुए कहा यह एक रात आउँगा मैं दोहराऊँगा मैं आकर एक प्रेम की कहानी उस घर में आउँगा मैं पट जिसके सब खुले हों और हो दिया भी जलता इस प्रेम की कहानी दुनियाँ ने खाए पलटे,कितने ही साल बीते यह प्रेम की कहानी भी हो गयी पुरानी श्री कृष्ण जी ने लेकिन अपना ना अहद भूला गोकुल में फिर से आए एक रात नागहानी तूफ़ान चल रहा था बारिश भी हो रही थी सूनी पड़ी थी गलियाँ हर सूं था पानी पानी हर घर पे दी सदाएँ हर दर को खटखटाया किस को पड़ी थी उस पर करता जो मेहेरबानी मायूस होके आख़िर वापिस ही जा रहे थे आयी नज़र दिए की एक सिम्त नौफ़िशानी एक झोंपड़े में देखा बूढ़ी सी एक औरत हाथों से एक दिए की करती थी पासवानी सक्ता में आ गया वो देखा क़रीब से जब बुढ़िया थी उस की राधा और उस के दिल की रानी पुरनम सा हो गया और ज़ोर से चिल्लाया राधा मैं आ गया हूँ सूरत नहीं पहचानी ? सुनने को देखने की ताक़त कहाँ रही थी संसार से परे थी वो प्रेम की दीवानी बेनूर आँखे अब भी राह तक रही थीं और बहरे कान सुनते थे आहटें सुहानी गो बुत बनी खड़ी थी ख़ामोश और आमद सूरत सुना रही थी एक हिज्र की कहानी चेहरे पे झुर्रियाँ थीं और बाल पक चुके थे बाक़ी कहाँ रहा था वो हुस्न वो जवानी वो ग़मनशीन राधा ज़िंदा थीं देखने को मिलने की आस ने ही दे दी थी सख़्तजानी गर्मी हो या कि सर्दी आँधी हों या कि बारिश दिए प्रेम के जलाए उसने सारी ज़िंदगानी प्रीतम की याद में ही रो रो के दिन गुज़ारे बाक़ी कहाँ रहा था आँखों का बहता पानी रो पड़े कृष्ण जी सूरत वो देखते ही थी देखने के क़ाबिल अश्कों की वो रवानी ज़िंदा रहेगी राधा इस प्रेम की बदौलत कब है “हबीब” ऐसा दुनियाँ में इश्क़ फ़ानी

ह कविता हमारे फिल्म जगत के बहुत ही विशुद्ध एवं मंझे हुए कलाकार श्रीमान आशुतोष राणा जी द्वारा एक चैनल के साछात्कार के मध्य में सुनाया गया जो सभी भारतीयों के लिए अत्यंत प्रेरणा श्रोत है एवं वीर रस से ओत प्रोत है
हे भारत के राम जगो, मैं तुम्हे जगाने आया हूँ,
सौ धर्मों का धर्म एक, बलिदान बताने आया हूँ ।
सुनो हिमालय कैद हुआ है, दुश्मन की जंजीरों में
आज बता दो कितना पानी, है भारत के वीरो में,
खड़ी शत्रु की फौज द्वार पर, आज तुम्हे ललकार रही,
सोये सिंह जगो भारत के, माता तुम्हे पुकार रही ।
रण की भेरी बज रही, उठो मोह निद्रा त्यागो,
पहला शीष चढाने वाले, माँ के वीर पुत्र जागो।
बलिदानों के वज्रदंड पर, देशभक्त की ध्वजा जगे,
और रण के कंकण पहने है, वो राष्ट्रभक्त की भुजा जगे ।।
अग्नि पंथ के पंथी जागो, शीष हथेली पर धरकर,
जागो रक्त के भक्त लाडले, जागो सिर के सौदागर,
खप्पर वाली काली जागे, जागे दुर्गा बर्बंडा,
और रक्त बीज का रक्त चाटने, वाली जागे चामुंडा ।
नर मुंडो की माला वाला, जगे कपाली कैलाशी,
रण की चंडी घर घर नाचे, मौत कहे प्यासी प्यासी,
रावण का वध स्वयं करूँगा, कहने वाला राम जगे,
और कौरव शेष न एक बचेगा, कहने वाला श्याम जगे ।।
परशुराम का परशु जगे, रघुनन्दन का बाण जगे ,
यदुनंदन का चक्र जगे, अर्जुन का धनुष महान जगे,
चोटी वाला चाणक्य जगे, पौरुष का पुरष महान जगे
और सेल्यूकस को कसने वाला, चन्द्रगुप्त बलवान जगे ।
हठी हमीर जगे जिसने, झुकना कभी नहीं जाना,
जगे पद्मिनी का जौहर, जागे केसरिया बाना,
देशभक्ति का जीवित झण्डा, आजादी का दीवाना,
और वह प्रताप का सिंह जगे, वो हल्दी घाटी का राणा ।।
दक्खिन वाला जगे शिवाजी, खून शाहजी का ताजा,
मरने की हठ ठाना करते, विकट मराठो के राजा,
छत्रसाल बुंदेला जागे, पंजाबी कृपाण जगे,
दो दिन जिया शेर के माफिक, वो टीपू सुल्तान जगे ।
कनवाहे का जगे मोर्चा, जगे झाँसी की रानी,
अहमदशाह जगे लखनऊ का, जगे कुंवर सिंह बलिदानी,
कलवाहे का जगे मोर्चा, पानीपत मैदान जगे,
जगे भगत सिंह की फांसी, राजगुरु के प्राण जगे ।।
जिसकी छोटी सी लकुटी से (बापू ), संगीने भी हार गयी,
हिटलर को जीता वे फौजेे, सात समुन्दर पार गयी,
मानवता का प्राण जगे, और भारत का अभिमान जगे,
उस लकुटि और लंगोटी वाले, बापू का बलिदान जगे।
आजादी की दुल्हन को जो, सबसे पहले चूम गया,
स्वयं कफ़न की गाँठ बाँधकर, सातों भावर घूम गया,
उस सुभाष की शान जगे, उस सुभाष की आन जगे,
ये भारत देश महान जगे, ये भारत की संतान जगे ।।
क्या कहते हो मेरे भारत से चीनी टकराएंगे ?
अरे चीनी को तो हम पानी में घोल घोल पी जाएंगे,
वह बर्बर था वह अशुद्ध था, हमने उनको शुद्ध किया,
हमने उनको बुद्ध दिया था, उसने हमको युद्ध दिया ।
आज बँधा है कफ़न शीष पर, जिसको आना है आ जाओ,
चाओ-माओ चीनी-मीनी, जिसमें दम हो टकराओ
जिसके रण से बनता है, रण का केसरिया बाना,
ओ कश्मीर हड़पने वाले, कान खोल सुनते जाना ।।
रण के खेतो में जब छायेगा, अमर मृत्यु का सन्नाटा,
लाशो की जब रोटी होंगी, और बारूदों का आटा,
सन सन करते वीर चलेंगे, जो बामी से फन वाला,
फिर चाहे रावलपिंडी वाले हो, या हो पेकिंग वाला ।
जो हमसे टकराएगा, वो चूर चूर हो जायेगा,
इस मिटटी को छूने वाला, मिटटी में मिल जायेगा,
मैं घर घर में इन्कलाब की, आग लगाने आया हूँ,
हे भारत के राम जगो, मैं तुम्हे जगाने आया हूं ।। - 2

Desiderata GO PLACIDLY amid the noise and the haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible, without surrender, be on good terms with all persons. Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even to the dull and the ignorant; they too have their story. Avoid loud and aggressive persons; they are vexatious to the spirit. If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain or bitter, for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself. Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans. Keep interested in your own career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time. Exercise caution in your business affairs, for the world is full of trickery. But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals, and everywhere life is full of heroism. Be yourself. Especially do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love; for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment, it is as perennial as the grass. Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth. Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness. Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should. Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be. And whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace in your soul. With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful. POETRY PODCAST | E9 | SAMAR SESH HAI | DINKAR | PANKAJ UPADHAYAY | ~ समर शेष है ~ famous ramdhari singh dinkar poems ढीली करो धनुष की डोरी, तरकस का कस खोलो किसने कहा, युद्ध की वेला चली गयी, शांति से बोलो? किसने कहा, और मत वेधो ह्रदय वह्रि के शर से, भरो भुवन का अंग कुंकुम से, कुसुम से, केसर से? कुंकुम? लेपूं किसे? सुनाऊँ किसको कोमल गान? तड़प रहा आँखों के आगे भूखा हिन्दुस्तान फूलों के रंगीन लहर पर ओ उतरनेवाले ओ रेशमी नगर के वासी! ओ छवि के मतवाले सकल देश में हालाहल है, दिल्ली में हाला है दिल्ली में रौशनी, शेष भारत में अंधियाला है मखमल के पर्दों के बाहर, फूलों के उस पार ज्यों का त्यों है खड़ा, आज भी मरघट-सा संसार वह संसार जहाँ तक पहुँची अब तक नहीं किरण है जहाँ क्षितिज है शून्य, अभी तक अंबर तिमिर वरण है देख जहाँ का दृश्य आज भी अन्त:स्थल हिलता है माँ को लज्ज वसन और शिशु को न क्षीर मिलता है पूज रहा है जहाँ चकित हो जन-जन देख अकाज सात वर्ष हो गये राह में, अटका कहाँ स्वराज? अटका कहाँ स्वराज? बोल दिल्ली! तू क्या कहती है? तू रानी बन गयी वेदना जनता क्यों सहती है? सबके भाग्य दबा रखे हैं किसने अपने कर में? उतरी थी जो विभा, हुई बंदिनी बता किस घर में समर शेष है, यह प्रकाश बंदीगृह से छूटेगा और नहीं तो तुझ पर पापिनी! महावज्र टूटेगा समर शेष है, उस स्वराज को सत्य बनाना होगा जिसका है ये न्यास उसे सत्वर पहुँचाना होगा धारा के मग में अनेक जो पर्वत खडे हुए हैं गंगा का पथ रोक इन्द्र के गज जो अडे हुए हैं कह दो उनसे झुके अगर तो जग मे यश पाएंगे अड़े रहे अगर तो ऐरावत पत्तों से बह जाऐंगे समर शेष है, जनगंगा को खुल कर लहराने दो शिखरों को डूबने और मुकुटों को बह जाने दो पथरीली ऊँची जमीन है? तो उसको तोडेंगे समतल पीटे बिना समर कि भूमि नहीं छोड़ेंगे समर शेष है, चलो ज्योतियों के बरसाते तीर खण्ड-खण्ड हो गिरे विषमता की काली जंजीर समर शेष है, अभी मनुज भक्षी हुंकार रहे हैं गांधी का पी रुधिर जवाहर पर फुंकार रहे हैं समर शेष है, अहंकार इनका हरना बाकी है वृक को दंतहीन, अहि को निर्विष करना बाकी है समर शेष है, शपथ धर्म की लाना है वह काल विचरें अभय देश में गाँधी और जवाहर लाल तिमिर पुत्र ये दस्यु कहीं कोई दुष्काण्ड रचें ना सावधान हो खडी देश भर में गाँधी की सेना बलि देकर भी बलि! स्नेह का यह मृदु व्रत साधो रे मंदिर औ’ मस्जिद दोनों पर एक तार बाँधो रे समर शेष है, नहीं पाप का भागी केवल व्याध जो तटस्थ हैं, समय लिखेगा उनके भी अपराध ......... #PoetryPodcast #Dinkar #pankajupadhayay https://youtu.be/idAtxKeQO40 https://youtu.be/WGoFQZKodNs https://youtu.be/kDebmfhNMDU

POETRY PODCAST E6 | DHARMRAJ | DINKAR | PANKAJ UPADHAYAY | धर्मराज , सन्यास खोजना कायरता है मन की है सच्चा मनुजत्व ग्रंथियां सुलझाना जीवन की । दुर्लभ नहीं मनुज के हित , निज वैयक्तिक सुख पाना किन्तु कठिन है कोटि - कोटि मनुजों को सुखी बनाना । एक पंथ है , छोड़ जगत को अपने में रम जाओ , खोजो अपनी मुक्ति और निज को ही सुखी बनाओ । अपर पंथ है , औरों को भी निज - विवेक बल दे कर , पहुँचो स्वर्ग - लोक में जग से साथ बहुत को ले कर । कर्मभूमि है निखिल महीतल, जब तक नर की काया, जब तक है जीवन के अणु-अणु में कर्त्तव्य समाया.. क्रिया-धर्म को छोड़ मनुज कैसे निज सुख पायेगा ? कर्म रहेगा साथ भाग वह जहाँ कहीं जायेगा.. धर्मराज,कर्मठ मनुष्य का पथ सन्यास नहीं है, नर जिस पर चलता वह मिट्टी है,आकाश नहीं है.. दीपक का निर्वाण बड़ा कुछ श्रेय नहीं जीवन का, है सद्धर्म दीप्त रख उसको हरना तिमिर भुवन का.. इस विविक्त,आहत वसुधा को अमृत पिलाना होगा, अमित लता गुल्मो में फिर से फूल खिलाना होगा.. हरना होगा अश्रु-ताप ह्रित-बंधु अनेक नरों का, लौटाना होगा सुहास अगणित विषण्ण अधरों का.. मिट्टी का यह भर संभालो, बन कर्मठ सन्यासी; पा सकता कुछ नहीं मनुज बन केवल व्योम-प्रवासी.. ऊपर सब कुछ शून्य-शून्य है, कुछ भी नहीं गगन में, धर्मराज ! जो कुछ है,वह है मिट्टी में,जीवन में.. सम्यक विधि से प्राप्त कर नर सब कुछ पाता है, मृति-जयी के पास स्वयं ही अम्बर भी आता है.. भोगी तुम इस भाँती मृति को दाग नहीं लग पाए, मिट्टी में तम नहीं,वही तुममे विलीन हो जाये. POETRY PODCAST | MEGH | Rendition by Pankaj Upadhayay हम मेघ हमे जीवन प्यारा ,पर बरसा आग भी सकते है रस गीत न तुझको भाता हो ,प्रलय राग गा सकते है । हम उस दघीचि के बेटे हैं, संभव है तुझको याद नही जिसकी हड्डी से वज्र बना,मिलता ऐसा फौलाद कहीं । इस धरती पर हमने अब तक , प्यासा न किसी को लोटया यदि रण की तृष्णा लाएँ हो, तो बुझा उसे भी सकते है । हम मेघ •••••••••••••• हमसे लड़ने को काल चला, तो नभ निचोड गंगा लाएँ सागर गरजा तो बन अगस्तय ,उसके ज्वारो को पी आए। हम मेघ •••• भूचाल् हमारे पैरौ से, तूफान बंद है मुट्ठी में हम शंकर हैं प्रलयकंर हैं ताण्डव भी दिखला सकते है । हम मेघ •••••• मत समझ हमारे हिमगिरि की , कोई शीतलता हर लेगा नदियों का पानी पी लेगा भू की हरियाली हर लेगा । भीतर के ज्वालामुखीयो की, शायद तुझको पहचान नहीं हम उबल पड़े तो लावा से, टुण्ड्रा को भी दफना सकते हैं । हम मेघ हमें जीवन प्यारा ---------'-- If poetry interests you, do listen in .. 2nd episode of my favorite childhood poems Poem - Megh Poet - Unknown #PoetryPodcast https://youtu.be/fm9ILyk1K94
