In our final celebration of the year, we commemorated Japanese New Year -- with a dive into medieval Japanese history, Otoshidama, and an extra special trip to Manzanar National Historic Site to learn about the Japanese-American incarceration. (In a shocking end to the year, no animals appeared in this episode!)
