Share about a time Gods promise (prophecy, Bible verse, blessing etc.) was fulfilled in an unexpected way like Abraham Why has Deconstruction (faith loss) rather than Reconstruction (faith renewal) become popular among Christians? How can your expectations of God or Church create unnecessary doubt in your Faith Journey?
Every Dad knows they are not perfect, thankfully God the Father is perfect. In Luke 15:11-32 Jesus tells the story of the perfect Fathers loving response to his two sons, the lawless lost son and his older brother the legalist.
We are called into a relationship with God. We look to him for His unconditional love and acceptance, but only offer conditional obedience in return. Instead of forming a relationship with Him, we instead, settle for a deal. If He doesnt fulfil the part of the deal we think He should, we walk away from our relationship with Him. Sermon Application
What strings do we have on our relationship with God? What would that relationship look like if we truly honoured Him with all our heart, mind, soul and strength?
