Every Dad knows they are not perfect, thankfully God the Father is perfect. In Luke 15:11-32 Jesus tells the story of the perfect Fathers loving response to his two sons, the lawless lost son and his older brother the legalist.
We are called into a relationship with God. We look to him for His unconditional love and acceptance, but only offer conditional obedience in return. Instead of forming a relationship with Him, we instead, settle for a deal. If He doesnt fulfil the part of the deal we think He should, we walk away from our relationship with Him. Sermon Application
