-Sunday 22 September 2024-
Jen starts off by sharing a word from Proverbs and encourages us to read the book and glean Holy Spirit's wisdom from it and then Stu preaches on being a follower of Jesus. A disciple is a follower- we can't claim to be His if we don't imitate Him.
Stu is preaching about seeking the Kingdom of God and here he preaches from Romans 4 about Abraham's faith and how he believed the word of God, even though it seemed as though God hadn't come through for him. Faith is the key to laying hold of the Kingdom of God, not our own works.
Stu continues preaching on the Kingdom of God. If we know what to look for, we can give ourselves to seeking it! We are God's seed sown into the world that we may grow and produce a harvest of righteousness- allowing the fruit of the Spirit to flourish and pointing people to Jesus (Matt 13 vs 24-43).

Stu continues preaching on living by faith and encouraging us to look at our circumstances through Heaven's lenses.

Stu continues sharing on living a life empowered by the Holy Spirit, not just coming to a church building, but actually living in unison with Jesus every day, doing the work of the ministry with Him.
When we ask the Lord for the in-filling of the Holy Spirit, he will give Him to us! Luke 11 speaks about how much He wants to bless us with his in-dwelling presence and power which empowers us to live a life of faith. Take a listen!
Stu shared powerful tools on how to walk out faith. He shared from Numbers when Joshua and Caleb believed the report of the Lord and kept their heart's full of faith, despite what the people around them did and said. Faith pleases God!
Jen starts of sharing on our value for good, Godly governance and stewardship. Stu then shares on receiving the Holy Spirit and his power to be his witnesses! One of the manifestations of his power is the spiritual gift of speaking in tongues.
Stu preached an anointed word on holding on to and valuing our faith- it's the most precious thing we have besides salvation. It's by faith that we please God, and see Him rightly.
Stu preached on the yeast of the Pharisees and of Herod and how God doesn't just make us "better people", he had to make a whole new creation! We need to let the yeast of the Kingdom of God work in us instead.
Stuart preached on three hungry people from the Word who pressed in to Jesus despite what people would think about them, and how that hunger for Him is worship. We desire that same posture of desperation for him and his presence!
Stu shares a powerful word on relying on the anointing of God so that we can walk out our faith with power. The anointing empowers us to go, do and be all that God has intended us to!
Yolanda leads Iris Johannesburg- Footprints and is a wonderful mom and minister. She spoke about "waiting well", even when God's promises don't seem to be coming to pass. It's a powerful encouragement. Take a listen!

Jen shared a word on being a Salty Saint- a believer that stands for truth and does not bow to the idols of culture. Just like salt, we are to preserve culture by being rooted in Christ, not being tossed around by "wordly wisdom" that calls good evil and evil good. It's a mature word, but one we need to hear because of the times we are living in! Take a listen.

Jen shared on tithing and why it's an important Kingdom principle to value in our lives. Take a listen!
Stu preaches on Galatians 5 and how Christ has set u free, not to do our own thing and live on our own terms, but free to serve and worship Him. True freedom comes when He is seated on the thrones of our hearts!
Here is a little video of the life growing at Plot 82 where The Lord has spoken "Eden-like" atmospheres over us. There is so much fruitfulness when we abide in Him.

Stu shared from Exodus 33, and how God is inviting us into a place of intimate worship instead of living off of other people's encounters. Enthrone Him in your heart, mind, and every aspect of your life!
Stu preaches from Colossians 3, speaking about setting our minds on things above and living out the way of the Kingdom.
The word should bear fruit in us that sets us a part from the world.

We were so blessed to have Dr Arno minister this Sunday. He shared a powerful prophetic overview on the times we're in, and what our response should be. We are not simply waiting for God to fetch us from the earth, but we are called to be salt and light! There's also a prayer for activation/commissioning at the end. Take a listen!

Stu and Jen shared about fasting as a church to seek the Lord, declare his goodness and faithfulness to us, and to humble ourselves under his hand as we have been feeling the spiritual warfare against the body of Christ. We do not want to partner with independence and orphan-ness, but to allow the Holy Spirit to bring humility, alignment and freedom to our hearts and church. Philippians 2 vs 1-4 speaks about unity in the body.

Stu shared about Jesus being The Truth! All other truths and facts are framed in Him, and when we allow Him to be the lord of our lives, we will step into glorious freedom.

The Tribe has the privilege of having Robin and his family from Iris Johannesburg minister at The Tribe this Sunday. Robin preached on the simplicity of the gospel which is Christ crucified for us. He also shared a bit about his time at an incredible crusade in Zambia. Take a listen!

The Tribe had the honour of hosting Dr Arno Van Niekerk and Ps. John Mathuhle this Sunday. John shared a powerful word about being the hope- salt and light- in the world. God is preparing us for an outpouring of His Spirit like we've never seen before.

Last week, Stu shared on the weapons of our warfare that are not of the flesh: forgiveness, blessing and submission. He followed on this week with two more, PRAISE and GIVING. These are Biblical, life giving keys that will change your life, and once they begin to change yours, they'll start affecting others.

Helanie had a dream that Jen and Stu felt was a prophetic word to the church for this time. It was a reminder to stay close to Jesus, not to fear and to break with unholy alliances.
Stu had just come back from an impactful conference with David Hogan, and references him and the incredible testimonies he shared.
We are not here for comfortable Christianity, we are here to become unashamedly more like Jesus and to do that we need the fire of the Holy Spirit!

Stu spoke about the sons of God being the dwelling place of the Holy Spirit. As we submit to Him and allow him to transform us into His likeness, fruit begins to show in our lives.

Stu preached such a powerful word on the difference between the heart of David and the heart of his predecessor, Saul.
David loved and feared God, not wanting to live without His presence, while Saul feared man and let his heart harden towards the Lord.
God is inviting us to make our home under his mighty hand.

We had Rob and Glenda at the Tribe for the first time in almost 4 years. It was so refreshing to be washed in the powerful message of grace, like he teaches it, again!

Stu shared on Psalm 2 and then Jen shared on staying close to God and reminding yourself of the covenant He made through His blood as we go through a time of shaking and testing.
Jenny did a power teaching on hosting the presence of God with our praise. She went through the 7 Hebrew words for praise and then we went into a time of worship.

Stu shared vulnerably from Luke 7 about the prostitute who poured her worship on the feet of Jesus, in the presence of the religious people, and how Jesus received her worship. God is calling his Bride into a place of humility and consecration!

Stu spoke from Matthew 18 about not seeing the Kingdom because of intellect, but by re-birth and re-birth comes by repentance.
When we walk with God, we learn to hear and trust the voice of God- our testimonies are powerful tools that build faith in the goodness of God.

Stuart preaches from Matthew 16 on God's governmental plan for the earth which is the church: the ecclesia or "called out ones". God is calling us to walk in humility, confidence and maturity so that we can come to the full measure of the stature of Christ Jesus.
Don't get into religiosity which looks Godly on the outside but denies His power and holiness!

Stu shared on repenting (returning to the highest level of thinking) to receive the a full revelation of the Kingdom of God.
Repentance is obedience and obedience is faith, and faith is what pleases God!

The Tribe had the privilege of hosting Arno this Sunday. He came with such a prophetic and profoundly confirming word for us. We are called to walk like Kings as David did, because we have been anointed by God to possess our inheritance!
-2 Oct 2022- Jenny gives a prophetic overview, tying together all of the words God has spoken to us over the last few months. She uses the story of Secretariat, an incredible champion of a racehorse, who is a picture of what Jesus did for us. Jenny shows a clip of Secretariat at about 15min 50sec of her preach.
-18 Sept 2022- We had the honour of partnering with Iris-Footprints in having Andrew Riley from Awaken Ministries in Rome, Georgia in the USA, minister The Tribe. His heart is simply to obey the Holy Spirit at all costs.
11 Sept 2022 Stu shares on the power of who we are in Christ. We need to renew our mind to the truth that, once we are born again, we are the sons and daughters of the Most High never to go back to orphanhood!
28 August 2022 We had the honour of hosting Johan and Tarryn van Rensburg, and their family, for our last meeting in Ruimsig. They imparted the richness and joy of the presence of God! What a beautiful end to a chapter for The Tribe, and an exciting start to a new one,
10 July 2022 -Stu speaks about laying hold of the promises of God by faith. We can't possess them with "natural" low-level thinking. We need His perspectives to determine our attitudes.
-26 JUNE 2022- When God asks you to do something in faith, he doesn't ask you to do something impossible, he just asks you to surrender what you have in your hands.
-19 JUNE 2022- Stuart continues preaching on living in faith, not living for the approval of man. The Gospel of Grace sets us free from the curse of the law, but the way we live our lives matters. We are set a part; anchored in Christ.

12 Jan 2020 Isaiah 54 vs 2-4 has been a prophetic scripture for The Tribe for quite a while, and Sibusiso "packaged" it so beautifully for this next season. Don't hold back, expand your vision, and press on because God WILL do what he has promised!
5 January 2020 The Kingdom of Heaven doesn't operate in seasons, but on this earth, we do. God is faithful through every one, and our hope is in Him!
01-12-2019 Holiness means to be set apart. It is not behavioral, it's positional! As we understand who we are in Christ, we begin to walk in holiness. We are set apart to bring Heaven to earth, and to reconcile lost kids to the Perfect Father!
24-11-19 Stu and Jen took time to honour the serving team, and then Stu preached on the heart of a servant. What a beautiful, powerful morning!

3 March 2019 We have been set apart by the work of Jesus on the cross- he made us holy like he is holy. So we walk out our righteousness on this Earth, not for God's acceptance, but because he accepted us and we understand who we are in him.

27 January 2019 Ephesians 5 vs 18 says not to be drunk with wine, but to be filled with the Spirit. When we are filled by Him, we start to see more good fruit- and less bad fruit- in our lives because He'll remind us of who He made us to be through the blood of Jesus!
13 January 2019 We can picture Jesus, and we're familiar with God, but Holy Spirit seems to remain a formless "thing" that many Christians are intimidated by.
Holy Spirit is God with us and learning to be his friend, to trust him, is so how we will see power flow in our Christian lives!
25 November 2018 - Grant preached on practically, intentionally pursuing what God has for us. We can live, not striving, but being poured out from a place of identity and rest.

21 October 2018 - As a church, we feel that God is calling us into a season of rest. It's a place of romance, refreshing, rewiring; being bound to our Source and trusting him to do more with our faith than we could ever achieve with our works.

16 September 2018 Every single New Creation is entrusted with time, treasures and talents. It is our charge to steward/manage/sow them for the Kingdom- like those in the parable of the talents! This is solid teaching!

22 July 2018 We are a functional family. We aren't called to merely maintain what we have been given in the Spirit, we were called to take ground! This requires momentum- it's a key! Building momentum takes persistence (consistency), praise (honour) and provision (money and gifting).

15 July 2018 The law of Moses served its purpose in its time as the perfect tool to diagnose the terminal issue of sin. However, God wanted to perfect what that law diagnosed, and thus the New Covenant was sent to us through Christ. The old covenant has been fulfilled by blood Jesus! We cannot mix it with the new covenant- that is not Gospel.
We get to live out our righteousness in confidence as sons daughters of The Most High!
8 July 2018 Believers are completely living in two realms: The natural realms of what we can see, and the spiritual realm that we see with our spiritual eyes. The wisdom of the natural realm is not all bad- the Garden of Eden had the tree of the Knowledge of Good AND Evil. But it is fading and carries no power in the spirit realm. The wisdom of the Spirit, however, brings eternal life, and affects both realms. We lay hold of this through FAITH!
24 JUNE 2018 Linda preached about making Jesus your true source of life, provision, peace, joy, etc. John 15 also says that the Father will prune those connected to the True Vine in order to increase their fruitfulness!

-27 MAY 2018- The way that we treat money is an outward expression of what is going on in our hearts. When we tithe, (under the covenant of Abraham and NOT under Malachi 3) we tithe out of a position faith in God and honour to Him. We put him in his rightful place as Sovereign God and Good Father. He calls us to "seek first the Kingdom of God" and promises that every need will be taken care of!
27 MAY 2018 The Tribe has 12 Core Values that will be explained so that we, as a church, can prioritize and practice them in order to strengthen our culture which facilitates atmospheres of Heaven that we desperately desire. There could be thousands of values, but these 12 were painstakingly picked by Stu and Jen. They give the "how" to our vision which will help us move effectively into what God has called Tribe to!
-20 May 2018- Jesus has paid IN FULL our debt to sin with his own blood! He is the author and finisher of our salvation and faith, and we put him in his right place, the throne of our hearts, through thanksgiving! The minute the Gospel becomes about us, it loses its power in our lives. When Jesus is the center of the Gospel, we begin to taste the fullness of power thereof!

He carries such incredible teaching and moves in the Spirit profoundly, and we experienced healings, encounters, and revelation as he ministered!
-6 May 2018- So often, believers over-complicate the Gospel. We sometimes moderate to fit into our lives, instead of simply living it out in obedience.
-29 April 2018- Grant is an anointed leader in the body of Christ, and a great gift to the Tribe Church. Every believer is called to pursue an authentic relationship with Jesus, and to live in deep relationship with those in our community. When we strip away pretense and politics, but value depth with one another, we step into a beautiful freedom! There is a testimony about healing from cancer right at the end, which is yours to receive!
-22 April 2018 - A suitcase filled with miscellaneous objects was used as a metaphor for our hearts. We all carry things in our hearts and minds- some of those things are useful for where God is taking you, others are hindering. Going into a new season as The Tribe, we are learning to submit our "suitcases" to God, allowing him to deal with the hindrances and replace them with life-giving tools!
-25 March 2018 - We are asking God to break our hearts open for the lost so that we may see new sons and daughters enter the Kingdom and the arms of the Father!

-22 Oct 2017- God hasn't given us a spirit of fear, but of love, power and a sound mind. We have the power and authority, through Jesus, to live brilliant and in ultimate peace and love, disarming Satan of the lies and the fear that he comes to rob us with.

Les Mitchell carries such a revelation of the Father Heart of God. God just wants to be with and know us, and he really wants us know him intimately too. Forget religious patterns and actually KNOW him!

This word came as a revelation of the love of God, for the Tribe Ruimsig, to Dot and Les who were released from Breakthru Life Church to come and minister to us! The understanding of the heart of Father God will transform you from the inside out. It is the foundation of who we are in Christ!
