Jeff & Cathy discuss dating formulas and how to navigate them with a touch of skepticism while wisely apply the principles behind them to your own unique situations. How long should you wait to start dating after a divorce? For widows, how long should you grieve your loss before getting remarried? How many dates should you got on before a first kiss? What's the best way to avoid an unhealthy rebound relationship? What kind of age difference in couples is acceptable (is it half your age +7 or 10 years)? How long should you date before getting engaged (is 4 seasons and a roundtrip enough or is it even necessary)? The answers to these questions aren't as simple as common "dating formulas" would indicate. Join us as we share our thoughts and feelings about these formulas so you can intentionally make up your own mind. #divorce #death #dating #age #timing #kissing #engagement #marriage #formulashttp://www.loveinlateryears.com/--- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/loveinlateryears/support

Jeff & Cathy dive deep into the last two letters of their F-SEEBO Model (listen to episodes 11, 101, and 102 to learn more). When it comes to New Year's Resolutions, most of us start with the OUTCOMES we want and try to shift our BEHAVIORS to lead us to our desired result. While there is order and reason to this method, it simply doesn't go back far enough in the order of creation. "The Lord created all things spiritually before He created them physically" (Moses 3:5). With this model, we are learning to do the same.

Love In Later Years (LILY) was created to take on the complex issues facing mid-singles and later married couples. This is a perfect podcast for individuals who are divorced, widowed, over 30 and not yet married, or those who are remarried with a blended family. We also welcome all who enjoy personal growth and enriching relationships.
