David Sole OBE is well known both in rugby circles and business, having won 44 caps for Scotland and three caps for the successful 1989 British and Irish Lions. The first episode features Scottish rugby hero turned talent and coaching expert – Tony Stanger. Tony represented Scotland 52 times at Rugby Union and is their joint record try scorer of all time. He was part of the victorious British Lions Tour to South Africa in 1997 and scored arguably the most famous try in Scottish rugby history to win the Grand Slam in 1990.
Tony discusses the human element of leadership and its importance. He brings his experience from team sports to the boardroom and explains how some of the traits he learned as a professional rugby player and now a keen golfer have helped him to succeed as an executive coach.
