Hi Family, Welcome Back! Let's talk Mommy guilt and how consuming it can be, especially if you are a first time Mom (or a parent/caretaker in general). The guilt can consume you if you let it, but it doesn't have to lead your story.

Welcome back to another episode! How many times do you feel like your child or life in general is wanting a larger amount of time that what you have to give in that moment? I think that we all have been there especially when you feel like you are being pulled in a million different directions. This used to be such a challenging space to navigate for Cubby and myself, until I realized that I have the power to make time. Being in the same space as someone can sometimes create the illusion that you are spending quality time because of the physical space being shared, but there can actually be a very present disconnect mentally and emotionally. Working Full-Time, managing two schedules, balancing therapies and not to mention co-hosting a podcast with a toddler can leaving you feeling that there just are not enough hours in the day, but what if I told you that you may only need anywhere from 5min - 1 hour for memorable and intentional core memories to be made? My secret during the work week is using my lunch break. What's yours?

Hey Family! We are so excited to connect together on another episode. Today we are going to talk about I walk out faith, communication, and other important values every day and who sometimes that can be way easier said than done. Hey Family and welcome back to another episode! Thank you all for the birthday wishes for Cubby, I still cannot believe that he is three. A vlog is coming soon about his birthday fun.

Can you think back to a time you felt so frustrated, overwhelmed, ready to quit, and that all odds were against you? Now that you look back on that moment are you able to find the humor and wisdom within the frustration? If there's one thing I can assure you is that it's never fun when you're going through it, but it can become a great sense of laughter when you look back. There are so many moments just within this past year and the challenges of autism that I can look back and smile. Today, the memory that comes to mind is our constant appointments with the neurologist (for potential seizures). From all the sleepless nights, picky eating, meltdowns, hugs, kisses, and "mama"s...I can say for certain that it was all worth it. I declare that everything that is seeming to steal your joy, will repay you with laughter, wisdom, joy, and strength.

Welcome back family! Today I want to ask you a simple question "who's on your team?". If you're thinking sports I am sorry to disappoint, but I mean your child's team of therapists/providers? Who you have with you everyday makes the difference of having faith or having fear. Who has access to you and your child on the regular basis, what results are you seeing from their influence? The good thing about having a team is you never have to do anything along and can feel supported even in the roughest of times. Who you decide to draft makes a world of difference in your child growth and overall development. I want to discuss Cubby's team (of therapist) and how each one has played a vital role in the baby steps and well as leaps he has made since his diagnosis. We want to hear your stories of your team and the impact that they're making in your kiddos world.

How many times have you been in public by yourself or with your child(ren) and felt unsafe? What were your thoughts? Do you use a weapon, martial arts, making a scene or all of the above? In Today's episode we are going to discuss a situation that happened to Cubby and I recently on our way to a museum. Needless to say that not everybody's idea of "holiday spirit" is the same and it's good to always have a plan of safety regardless of the day, time, person or environment. In addition to how Cubby and I handle safety while outside of the home, we are going to share what we use to keep us safe in the home as well. We can't wait to hear all the ways that you keep your and your family safe.

Wow oh wow..did you really just say that?? On Today's episode we are going to talk about some of the wild/off-the-wall things that have been said to me when I inform people of Cubby's diagnosis. Words are such a mighty form of communication; they can bring joy, life, laughter and sometimes they can bring hurt, disappointment and offense (sometimes unintended). Let's walkthrough some of the most common questions/comments that I have endured as Cubby's Mommy. Buckle up, this might be a tad uncomfortable but we will get through it together. <3

I cannot believe that I took naps for granted or just sleep in general as a child! Talk about not realizing a season of blessings until it has passed by. One of the most common things that I connect with other parents/caregivers who navigate life with children on the spectrum the hurdles of sleep (or lack there of). I feel as though many of us whether we are parents or not struggle with getting quality sleep on a consistent basis. Can we just take a moment to jump for joy that we don't look like the lack of sleep that we give our bodies. In Today's episode we are going to talk about how I  deal with the challenges of Cubby and his sleep habits, while sometimes walking through the day like a zombie myself. We are excited to hear your stories and how you have triumphed over the sleep battle in your own journeys.

BOOM TWO LINES ON A STICK Congratulations, you're expecting! What thoughts ran through your mind when you heard those words or got the news? Are you independent or self-sufficent? Today we are going to talk about the Supermommy & Superdaddy syndrome and how that plays into our daily lives. Do you feel exhausted, drained, overwhelmed, like you are lacking support, understanding or help? If you answered yes to that, do you accept the help that's around you? Let's discuss the journey of asking for help and embracing our human side, while letting go of those expectations to bear the entire weight of doing EVERYTHING. Ready to burn that cape, let's go.

Welcome back! On today's episode we are going to discuss what happen to Cubby and I during our Costco run. Have you ever seen a little one throw what looks like a tantrum in public, what thoughts ran through your mind? How would/did you respond in that situation? Let's walk through a very common and almost daily struggle that we all encounter whether we are directly dealing with the unexpected or have the view of bearing witness. Was it really a tantrum, was the child trying to communicate something or was it just a sensory-overload? Feel free to take humor in the story and take away any gems.

Welcome to the FIRST episode of our podcast! We are so excited to have you join in on the conversation and be apart of our family. One of the biggest challenges that I’ve had to learn early on with Cubby is how to be an advocate for his needs to make sure he has opportunities in this life. Today I share a few examples of how I advocated for Cubby and what that looked like in couple situations.
