Dr.Bindernagel professional wildlife biologist who is seriously studying the sasquatch or bigfoot in North America. My interest in this animal began in 1963 when, as a third-year-student in wildlife management at the University of Guelph in Ontario, Canada, I was laughed at for raising the report of an animal described as an "ape-man" for possible discussion. My field work began in 1975 when our family moved to British Columbia, partly in order for me to begin field work on this species. In 1988, my wife and I found several sasquatch tracks in good condition in the mountains not far from our home on Vancouver Island. Plaster casts which we made from these tracks provided the first physical evidence for the existence of the sasquatch. Wildlife biologists such as myself regularly depend on tracks and other wildlife sign as evidence for the presence of bears, deer, wolves, and other mammals, recognizing that tracks constitute a more reliable and persistent record of the presence of a mammal species in an area than a fleeting glimpse of the animal itself. I am satisfied that the sasquatch is an extant (or "real") animal, subject to study and examination like any other large mammal, and am much more concerned with addressing ecological questions such as how it overwinters in the colder regions of North America, than with dwelling on the controversy of whether it does or does not exist. I remain aware, however, that many people—including scientific colleagues—remain unaware of the information that exists about this species.

Astro-photography is the discipline of taking space photographs through a telescope. M.K. owns two large telescopes that are outfitted for space photography. Astro-photography often involves unusual methods of film development and analysis. It was when M.K. recognized that some frames that he had seen from the film, had been treated in much the same way that an astro-photograph might have been, and that the frames were much improved, he decided to look for the better copies of the film. The general rule is that you can’t get a good print, from a bad film. Yet … good prints did exist. So began an effort that was to last for twelve years. M.K. has participated in various expeditions across the country, and has traveled to Bluff Creek in northern California, where the famous film was taken. M.K. lives in Mississippi and is 54 years old. He and his wife Debbie have been married for thirty two years and are the parents of four children. “I’ve raised my children to be true to themselves” says M.K. “I’ve taught them to never stand down from anything due, to outside pressure.” “If you know what’s right, then do it, and you’ll never regret it.

I didn't have any interest in Bigfoot until my oldest son and I saw something squatting under his feeder one night, 1992, and then finding huge three toed human looking tracks the next year...as a young boy and teenager we spent many days and nights hunting, fishing, swimming and camping on the Sabine river...we didn't notice anything unusual nor were we afraid to be in the bottoms day or night...growing up we did hear tales of a "booger" in those bottoms...several people I knew claimed to have seen a booger but seeing was believing for me...
After our sighting and finding tracks I became more involved in attempting to find out what we saw...I spent days and nights sitting and walking the property which was 1500 acres surrounded by thousands of acres...I taught myself how to identify tracks and evidence and at one time knew of and could recognize three different tracks of individuals...a female, a young one and an older I thought to be male... Over the years I along with others have had sightings and found many tracks of different sizes from about 5 inches to over 20 inches in length...the largest creature I have seen was approximately eight feet tall, undetermined weight since it was a night time sighting...My search continues...
M. Charlie Thompson is a crypto-zoologist specializing in sasquatch. He currently lives near the border of Alaska and the Yukon Territory and says that, “When most people hear of sasquatch, they usually think only of their local areas or the Pacific Northwest, however, Alaska has over a century of documented encounters with sasquatch and the oral history among Alaska’s native groups is even older.” Thompson, who founded www.sasquatchtracker.com in 2006, has had an interest in sasquatch for almost 35 years. He first became interested in 1977 while living in Idaho. Thompson was influenced by such popular Hollywood movies such as “Sasquatch: The Legend of Bigfoot” and “The Legend of Boggy Creek”. Thompson said that, “After seeing these types of movies as a kid, I’ve always had the thought in the back of my mind, that there really could be an unknown primate roaming the backcountry of North America that needed to be studied.” Thompson, a Coast Guard veteran and the chief of the Alcan Rescue Squad, is also an enthusiastic hunter. Thompson has combined his experience with search and rescue work with his love of the outdoors and applied it to tracking and track reading. Bruce G. Hallenbeck is an author, filmmaker, actor and screenwriter who divides his time between writing books about movies and writing books about cryptozoology. In 1992, he co-wrote "Monsters of the Northwoods" with Paul Bartholomew, Robert Bartholomew and William Brann, which concerned Bigfoot sightings in the Northeast, some of which involved Bruce's own family. He's also well known in the fields of fantasy, horror and science fiction, having written extensively for international publications such as "Little Shoppe of Horrors" and "Femme Fatales." His book "Comedy-Horror Films: A Chronological History" was published in 2009 by McFarland and was well-received by both critics and public. Cliff had the fortune to live in the Clackamas district of the Mt. Hood National Forest for 13 years where he worked at a PGE hydro-electric power site. There is a small PGE housing project in the forest for employees. He went up there in 1956 and came across his first track on Oak Grove Butte during deer season 1957.
Before he retired in 1996, he spent some time doing investigations for Peter Byrne in the Clackamas area when Peter had his Hood River operation. They met through Ray Crowe's Western Bigfoot Society.
Cliff is very, very knowledgeable about the woods and the animals therein. He has much "common sense," and is a fine companion. Beginning in 1999, we have camped out many times.

Bart Cutino was born and raised in beautiful Monterey, CA and is a longtime researcher with both the BFRO and AIBR and one of the first persons to claim a sighting with the use of proprietary heat-sensing equipment (thermal). Born on October 30, 1949 in Pittsburgh, PA, Stan Gordon’s lifelong interest in UFO and other phenomena began after receiving an AM radio for his 10th birthday.
Since 1965, Stan has conducted On Scene Investigations of thousands of mysterious encounters across Pennsylvania. Stan gained prominence in the field of UFO research as the authority on The Kecksburg UFO Incident. He is also well regarded in the area of paranormal research with his first hand investigation into a series of documented Bigfoot encounters and UFO sightings that occurred throughout Pennsylvania in 1973.
Stan created the Westmoreland County UFO Study Group in 1970 which expanded into the Pennsylvania Center for UFO Research in 1975. Stan served as State Director of the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) during the 1970’s. In 1981, Stan founded and served as Director of the Pennsylvania Association for the Study of the Unexplained as well as editor of the PASU Data Exchange, a newsletter covering cases of phenomena investigated in Pennsylvania. PASU consisted of an all volunteer research unit which ceased operation in November of 1993.
Stan received the 1987 MUFON Meritorious Achievement in a UFO Investigation Award; the first award of its kind.
Stan has presented lectures on these subjects to professional and civic organizations, continues to receive requests for similar presentations, and has conducted adult education courses on the subject of UFOs at the Westmoreland County Community College. Dranginis' first brush with Bigfoot came as he and two friends were visiting old gold mines in Culpeper County. They were returning to their vehicle when one of the men said he spotted something about 75 feet behind a tree.
At first, Dranginis didn't see anything, but then a large black head emerged from behind the tree and the creature took off in a "full-blown run."
"At that point I knew this was something different from a man," Dranginis says. "It was about 7 feet tall, covered with hair and had broad, muscular shoulders, arms and legs.

BFRO Researcher Mike Greene will join us tonight and talk about his recent thermal image capture of a possible Bigfoot/Sasquatch. Mike Greene had been pursuing footage of a sasquatch as a hobby, off-and-on for over 20 years. He has a Master’s degree in Behavioral Psychology, is a court-qualified Questioned Documents Examiner ( forgery expert). For two decades he was Chief of Welfare and Food Stamp Fraud Investigations for New Jersey. Mike joined the BFRO in 2005 and attended 16 BFRO expeditions in different parts of the US and Canada, incuding the yearly expeditions in North Carolina, for which he was eventually asked to serve as the official organizer.
On numerous occassions, at a particular location in North Carolina, various expedition participants described seeing an inquisitive sasquatch circle their camp just beyond the illumination of their campfire. Many of those sightings happened within 200 feet of the spot where the Squeaky footage was obtained. Various attempts were made to photograph this sasquatch using trail cameras, with no success. The trail cameras were, out of necessity, strapped to the sides of nearby tree trunks. They were conspicuous from a distance. The stump altar would be raided when there were no trail cameras on the nearby trees, but was not raided when trail cameras were present.
Not every trail cam approach was tested there (such as camouflaging the cameras on the ground) before Greene switched to thermal equipment from a greater distance. He switched to this different strategy after his first minor success there: His own observation of a sasquatch there in 2007, while using a thermal viewer (Ratheon PalmIR 250).
J. Robert Alley has 30 years of interest in sasquatches. In 1974-75 he worked with the late Rene Dahinden to delve into police sightings of sasquatches in Washington state. Since 1989, he has been a field investigator with Alaska bigfoot researchers and has been a member of Oregon-based Western Bigfoot Society since 1998. Derek Randles has been involved in Bigfoot research for 25 years. His first encounter with Bigfoot was in 1985 in the Olympic National Park in Washington State. Since then, Derek has worked with many researchers, scientists and wild life biologists along the way. In 1997 Derek was invited to join the North American Ape project with Jeff Meldrum and Ron Brown. In September of 2000 he was invited to join the BFRO and attend their first Bigfoot expedition in Skookum Meadows near Mt. Saint Helens. During that expedition, Derek was one of the three people who found and cast the Skookum impression. He is still an investigator and tracker with the BFRO. Derek owns and operates a wilderness guide service in Washington state.

In 2005 our initial group consisted of a cooperation of 4 people: a biologist from Great Falls, Montana; a Cree Nations elder representing the First Nations People; the skeptic Todd Standing; and a paramedic fire fighter from Calgary, Alberta. After Todd went public with our work, enthusiasts, scientists, and wilderness experts from around the globe began to collaborate with the Sylvanic team. Now we collaborate with scientists from as far away as China and half a dozen forestry and wildlife officers in Canada and the United States. Our tremendous success has come about from our enormous collaboration of minds, experiences, knowledge, and wisdom from all walks of life. Primatology meets first nations experiences. Anthropology combines with the greatest hunting techniques on the planet. The experiences passed down through tens of thousands of years of first nations oral history and tradition with decades of scientific studies. Our ultimate goal is to ethically introduce civilization to the most man-like primate on the planet.

On 1998 after reading "Monsters of the Northwoods", Steve like many of the general population had believe that sightings were exclusive to the Pacific Northwest, learned that there were numerous sighting reports close to his residence in upstate New York.
Steve began his quest first in 1998 seeking knowledge from other researchers in the field. In 2003 Steve met two of the authors of Monsters of the Northwoods and was invited to apply for BFRO membership. By that time Steve had his own small grass roots organization and website.
Join Tcsjrbigfoot & Chuck007 as we invite MK Davis to the show. M.K.Davis developed an interest in the Patterson-Gimlin Bigfoot film, while pursuing astro-photography. Astro-photography is the discipline of taking space photographs through a telescope. M.K. owns two large telescopes that are outfitted for space photography. Astro-photography often involves unusual methods of film development and analysis. It was when M.K. recognized that some frames that he had seen from the film, had been treated in much the same way that an astro-photograph might have been, and that the frames were much improved, he decided to look for the better copies of the film. The general rule is that you can’t get a good print, from a bad film. Yet … good prints did exist. So began an effort that was to last for twelve years. M.K. has participated in various expeditions across the country, and has traveled to Bluff Creek in northern California, where the famous film was taken. M.K. lives in Mississippi and is 54 years old. He and his wife Debbie have been married for thirty two years and are the parents of four children. “I’ve raised my children to be true to themselves” says M.K. “I’ve taught them to never stand down from anything due, to outside pressure.” “If you know what’s right, then do it, and you’ll never regret it”.
