Dave Taylor shares his thoughts on what performance actually looks like in a digital campaign. Why the actual numbers matter, ROI matters, and it's more than impressions & clicks. Where did the money go?
Dave, as the co-founder of In Front Marketing, with over 14 years of experience and in becoming a Strategic Digital Marketer shares that the company was born to do things differently. There had to be a better way to communicate where the advertising/marketing budget was going.
Digital marketing/online marketing, analytics, metrics, KPI, SEO, impressions, pay per click, ads, - huh?
Well, this Calgarian can tell you.
If you are in business, you'll likely want to take Dave up on the complimentary discovery call.
If you act now you may still have time to run that Christmas campaign.

Host Jennifer Palmer interviews Jon Graham Founder and President of Against All Abuse. On August 2, 2012 Jon Graham lost his cousin, Chris Ball, to a senseless act of random violence. He was a son, a brother, a friend and a great hearted man who meant the world to a lot of people. The way he was taken was beyond unacceptable and will forever burn an empty hole in our hearts and souls. In 2013 a memorial ride for Chris was held. The ride was a great success, attracting nearly 40 participants, and continues to grow every year. August 2, 2022, marked the ten year anniversary of Chris’ passing. The poker run is Chris’ Memorial Ride. Each year he is honour and remembered, his family’s loss and the impact he made in this world before being taken needlessly and far too soon. The day is filled with laughter, bikes and love each year. Against All Abuse was founded by Harvey Crich & Jon Graham in hopes of something positive coming from this horrific tragedy. The idea of having a memorial ride for Chris and making it something more permanent, with an ongoing effort to help others and creating a family with its own heartbeat. Against All Abuse has grown into an active core group of folks who are passionate about the causes they believe in. What started as a tribute ride to a fallen brother has turned into something great, raising awareness and funds to help those who were victims of abuse, whether it be children, women or even men. Each event contributes so much in his memory.

WeAreCalgary's Featured Calgarian, Wakefield Brewster, is Calgary's 6th Poet Laureate and Calgary's 1st Black Poet Laureate.
Wakefield shares about poetry, community, mentoring, wellness and his journey through addiction.
"... I was able to express how words and wellness have come together in my life and how I am assisting the world around me, or at least the immediate communities around me, how they may do the same."
Since January 2000, Wakefield Brewster has been known as one of Canada’s most popular and prolific Performance Poets. He is a BlackMan born and raised in Toronto, by parents hailing from the island of Beautiful Barbados and has resided in Calgary since 2006. He has spoken across Canada, and in several States.
Poet, Spoken Word Artist, Educator, Rap/Hip-Hop Artist, Musician, Martial Artist, WakeFull Wellness - RMT, Speaker and Founder: Page2StageProductions.
Wakefield was appointed the very first Resident Poet & Spoken Word Artist of The Grand Theatre House in Calgary, Alberta.
Wakefield performed his piece I-CAN, Jan 29th, 2020 in Calgary, AB at Let’s Talk Hope Conference at MRU for National Hope Talks, hosted by Connie Jakab. In his words "My hope in being involved with the conference was to share my story which is part of everyone’s story through my passionate art of Performance Poetry. Everyone can relate to TheArts but often forget to use the TheArts to relate. In my exhibition of vulnerable disclosure through SpokenWord, I have slowly but surely added my Artistry to the Toolbox of my Recovery. It is not an absolute, yet it is absolutely essential to understand that there are ways to write your way to wellness. I am hoping that my performance and presentation will encourage the attendees to reach out to me and discover how they can access Page2StageProductions and what I may do to assist them.

Guests Colin McCall, Dan Shermerhorn and John Feradi join our host Jennifer Palmer to talk about Hockey Marathon for Kids - Team Hope - Ava's Army (Ambassador Family).
These hockey players, what Dan refers to as the 4some: Colin McCall, Dan Shermerhorn, Geoffery Loftus and John Feradi are from Alberta's Oilpatch. They are skating in a Hockey Marathon, 11days (261 hours), in support of the Alberta Children's Hospital. Their motivator a 13 year old, young lady, named Ava.
Details about Ava (12 years old):
Her Dad, Jason worked with John in the oil & gas industry as a field supervisor. Her Mom's name is Mandy and she has a younger brother named Grady who plays goal and will be "advising" us (we all have to take turns playing goal).
Ava was born in the Sherwood Park area
Diagnosed and treated at the Stollery at age 3 in 2012, with a benign but growing brain tumour.
They weren't able to get it all. Multiple surgeries, maximum radiation treatment, secondary health conditions affecting speech, breathing, walking due to affected nervous system. At one point night nurses were needed in the Hadfield's home to keep watch on Ava's breathing. The family currently lives from MRI to MRI.
Last year the Hadfield's moved from Sherwood Park to Langdon to be closer to family. Ava's care team is now the Alberta Children's Hospital, some of whom treated John's son Jordan. As you are aware the Stollery care team would have been like family to Ava. The move must have been traumatic for her.
As Cancer Dad's, Jason and John have remained in touch over the years. They thought incorporating Ava and her family in the Hockey Marathon was a good way to welcome her and make her feel more comfortable. Team Hope - Group 1 has informally adopted Ava for 10.5 days and will be known as Ava's Army.
Additionally they are going for the 3rd Guinness Book of World Records acclaim.
The goal to raise money for cancer research, specifically pediatric immunotherapy.
