This week Ps Simon led us through Psalm 84. This Psalm, which the great preacher Charles Spurgeon called the Pearl of the Psalms, is a powerful reflection on longing for God's presence and finding strength in Him. As we looked at this Psalm we found what it means to be pilgrims seeking God and the joy of dwelling with Him.
Join us this week as Ps Margo shares Psalm 121. In this psalm we see the immense love and care God has for us as we are encouraged to lift our eyes to God. We are not to be distracted or defeated by the hills in our lives but rather look to the One who created the heavens and the earth and will keep us safe for eternity.

As we work through these verses we are encouraged to make sure that we know the truth of Jesus, the one who is God Himself and who has brought us life through His death and resurrection.

As we look at the story of Paul's shipwreck while travelling to Rome, we see Paul was able to stay calm and encourage others by trusting that God keeps His promises. In our lives we need to have this same trust in God and, no matter the circumstances, keep hold of the truth that God does keep His promises.
Ps Simon continues our series on the book of Acts by leading us through Acts 26 this week. Paul is given the opportunity to defend himself before the Roman governor and other rulers. He uses the opportunity, not to defend himself, but to bring the message of salvation to all present. His focus is on Jesus and the message of life. Ps Simon encourages us to have the same focus and bring the message of life to all that will listen.
Join us as Ps Simon leads us through Acts 25. In this passage we see the way that Paul responds to continued imprisonment and we are encouraged to be bold in sharing the message of the resurrected Jesus!
This week Ps James leads us through Acts 24 where we see Paul's commitment to sharing the news of the risen Christ even in challenging and unjust situations.
As we work through Acts 23 we see Paul under Roman guard and under threat from Jewish assassins. In the midst of challenging circumstances Paul sees God's hand at work and we are reminded to be aware of the way God works in and through our own lives.
Join as Ps Simon leads us through the next part of our study of Acts. This week we see that despite the crowds who want to kill him, religious leaders who won't listen to him and Roman commanders who imprison him, Paul is reminded of God's incredible grace and plan for his life!
This week Ps James looks at Acts 22 where Paul addresses an angry crowd. He speaks with gentleness and respect telling them of God's grace and mercy. We also need to be prepared to speak with gentleness and respect when others question our faith.

Ps James brings a powerful message in which we see that the resurrection of Jesus is much more than a myth, its a part of the historical record. The evidence is so clear that many of the witnesses of a risen Jesus were willing to die to defend the truth of what happened.
