He was responsible for all parts of the customer journey with a highlighted focus on Outcomes, Utilisation and Customer Storytelling. Ben has held many senior leadership roles in Customer Engagement and Success Consulting areas during his SAP career. His immediately preceding role was as SAP APJ Chief Customer Officer. The role had leading indicators including Value Advisory Board, Customer Value Stories, and leading SAP efforts at customer success outcomes. With more than 25 years of business experience he enjoys driving customer interaction. Ben has continued to take on roles that maximise customer engagement. He has successful run change management program at scale. Ben is a passionate believer in the team of a team and is a keen enthusiast of the Design Thinking approach.
Matthew Goss is a Managing Partner with Covantage, which is specialist SAP Concur consulting firm. Matthew previously spent 23 years with SAP Concur in senior management positions across the business. He started his career with Concur leading the regional SAP Concur consulting practice for where he oversaw all of the Concur projects delivered in the Asia Pacific Japan region. He then led SAP Concur Australia/ New Zealand business, and in his last role was appointed Senior Vice President leading SAP Concur in Asia Pacific Japan. Matthew is now focussed on working directly with Concur customers to ensure they achieve the maximum business value from their Concur solutions, from initial implementation through to optimisation projects.

Jason is a highly experienced senior IT leader who has over 20 years experience in software development, project delivery, portfolio management, senior leadership positions and a member of the SAUG Executive Council. He has worked internationally including Europe and Asia focused within the utility sector. As Head of SAP Capability, he is responsible for the design, governance and delivery of SAP centric solutions that enable and enhance business operations. This role has full end to end management of IT operational SAP functions with accountability for the IT SAP service and support offerings which also include the Application Management Support (AMS) contract.
Jason holds a degree in Computer Science and is a certified Portfolio and Change Manager. Jason has also won Project of the Year (Australian Institute of Management), Best Use of New Technology - Machine Learning Algorithm (Digital Utility Award), Customer Innovation Award (Enablon) and Making a difference Award. He is also a zoological member and animal sponsor to the Adelaide zoo.

Kicking off season 4 with Jay Wynter and special guest Peter Gilmer, and they chat with John Golfin and his interesting career and philanthropic efforts.
John Golfin, born and raised in Bondi Beach graduated as an Aeronautical Engineer in 1987 but ended up in a consulting team that brought SAP to Australia for the first time in 1989. He went on to manage some of the first and largest SAP projects in Australia, often involving huge business transformation, wall-to-wall SAP functionality, multiple sites, multiple vendors, teams of 300+ and budgets of $100m-$300m+. By the end of 2021, he was involved in 39 SAP and non-SAP projects and managed 18 of these from start to finish.
During this time he travelled to 98 of the 193 United Nations Member Countries in the world, ran several 10km+ runs in 92 of these and made over 20 major comedy-documentary films (www.golfcopictures.com) a film genre he invented in 1993. He shares these films with family, friends and work colleagues to raise money for a charity he founded in Australia (www.mercycentreaustralia.org) that supports an AIDS Children's Orphanage in the slums of Bangkok Thailand and a Mission in Freetown Sierra Leone looking after amputees disabled by the 1991-2002 Civil War.
John is now focused on completing his adventure/expedition style travels to the 95 remaining UN countries with more films to support his much-loved charity.
