America’s Rising Majority is Staking Out New Ground

As the first woman of color elected to Vice President of the United States, Kamala Harris is blazing trails as well.  The Secret Service has a codename for her and it's spot on: Pioneer.

She is not alone.  We are all pioneers travelling to a new America.

The demographic, technological and economic advancements of the 21st century are forming the crucible from which we will forge a new kind of politics, with the pioneers of the new majority at the center.

  • What does it mean to be an American today?
  • How do we harness our collective power for good?
  • Can America welcome and celebrate diversity, while embracing leadership from all of her citizens?
  • Or will our nation be torn apart by those threatened by our changing times?

Kamala Harris provides the lens through which Nayyera Haq and Jamal Simmons examine these questions and many others on the Pioneer Politics podcast.
