- The GRIT Boss
Hello, GRIT bosses.
How is everybody doing I am so excited and I'm so happy to be back? I haven't, haven't done any released any podcast in a couple of probably, two weeks and, I'm just happy. Like I'm at a good place now where I can come and share with you guys. you know, what has been happening and, and just to connect with you guys.
So, so the last couple of weeks have been nothing, but, you know, those weeks where you have, trials, tribulation threads, And that's what has been happening, you know, in the last couple of weeks in the, to deal, what I'm going to be talking to you guys is how do you push through in your business, in your life when things are just happening, as you out of nowhere, like you, your life was going on, your life was smooth going on you by, by your day.
Then all of a sudden things start happening. And, mostly it's not even you, it could be even external, external things that are happened to people that you care about. You, you know, people that you look up to when that's what happened to me. a couple of weeks ago in the dread for me, it was not even for me, it was, it was happening to my parents and my siblings who are not even close to me. they are far away and it really affected me because now when you are far away from the people you care about if you help breasts, there's nothing much you can do. And it can be very, very distracting. think about when, think about if you're, you know, you're miles and miles and miles away.
I think I looked at, I looked one time, how many miles like going back to my home country, and I think it's about 23,000 miles being far away. And you have probably as a sick parent and getting phone calls, and no sure what is happening. It can be very distracting. And so the last two weeks I was in that, in that boat, I'm being grown light and left, you know, peaking phone calls, from home. And all I can say is that it has been a tough journey, but I want to give you maybe if you, you know, you in that place, you, you're trying to push through your business. You're trying to, make things happen, but then let's keep happening. So how do you really push through that What makes you keep going Because you can lose motivation, you lose the, you know, the sight, you can lose that drive that keeps you going
And, by the time you're coming back, you're feeling like, oh my God, that brought so much, I don't even know how to, you know, to how to get back. . It feels that way. And so, some of the things that I am just going to give you some food, things that have really helped me through the last couple of weeks, even, even if I haven't been on social media, or even, building a podcast or releasing anything, I still have things that are going on inside of my business. And so, number one thing that I believe he did, and indeed this is for everyone is that you, you want to give yourself some grace, Always give yourself some grace, because if you, if you are like, oh my God, now I'm not even working on my business. you know, you, you, you have neglected your business.
You start feeling that way. That's the quickest path to failure when you start judging yourself back to, but to give yourself some grace. . and, and also it's very quick to ask why is this happening to me But also why is it not happening, Why is it asking the questions, Why is this happening to me, instead of the brain game, So give yourself some grace and, you know, appreciate how far you have come in the business and appreciate that you already have a business going on, or you already have something that is going on. and that you can still show up, even if it's a few minutes, few minutes, a day-use to show up, even if you're not doing the whole marathon or one hour, two hours, even the, even a few minutes per day is okay.
. But be okay with that, be okay with that don't feel, oh my God, I'm being pulled in different directions by my family and be a poor direction. you know, and I need to be any to be there. No, you give yourself some grace say, okay, yes, I still have to be here for my family. And that is super important, That is super important to put in the forefront of our business. . You build a business around, this is the reason we are building this business so that you can be around your family, So if those opportunities or those things happen in a positive or a negative way, it's okay. It took it to be the feminine. I got into a point where I was starting to blame myself, but I quickly allow being aware of how I'm feeling and letting me go through those emotions and process them, like, how am I feeling this
Give myself, I'm going to give myself some grace and I'm going to keep pushing, even if it's just that two minutes per day, that I'm coming and showing up for my business, I'm going to do it. But more importantly, I am there for my family. . So that's number one thing. The second thing is also be very aware, identify those dreads. Okay. probably not the word dress. It's a little bit pushy, but it's, it's a dread anything that is, anything that is taking you away from forecast, anything that is taking you away from, you know, that core that we are really focused on or that milestone that you are trying to achieve is a threat. And it's super important to identify them and even write them down, actually have, I have a journal where this then gives you a specific location every day to identify those threats.
And so for me, there's threat, there's, you know, this, emergency this thing that happened in my family, that was a threat to me because, it, it takes a lot of energy. It takes a lot of you of your energy. when you wake up, you rise up, you're thinking, oh, these people are okay. . I need to call them. I need to know where it's going. And it happened that this scenario that happened back at home at the same time, my mom was not feeling well. . So you are dealing with two things. We are dealing with a situation here that you can't control and us at the same time. You have a parent who's aging, With aging, and she's going to the hospital, she's taking medication and she's doing this and that. And it was chaotic equals chaotic. And so those are dreads.
So write them down so that you are very much aware, are you allowing them to get to you or even how can you handle them. so that's another thing, be aware of every possible threat. Okay. Every possible, even, even if you're okay, and your head is going on, it's super important to be aware of the threats that are pulling you away from focusing. There can also be even social media. If you're spending way too much on your social media, you are doing busy work or scoring, scoring, scoring. That's a threat to a goal that you committed or a goal that you wrote down. So being aware of that has been also very helpful. The other thing and this is super important is being, or having realistic goals, Because, if something is going on in your life, you know, you have something that is pulling you away from habit, focusing on your business.
It's okay. . It's okay to be, to be away for a few hours to be able to be, to be there and focus on that thing, but also be very realistic with your goal and your type. So for example, the way that my life was going on, I was trying to get a new client, get a few clients. And my average, the way I get clients, probably I'm just giving an example. So for example, in the Monday of the month of July, maybe I was, I got four clients, I got five clients. And then in the amount of, in the month of July, I didn't have any threats in my life was good. I was moving on. I cannot have the same realistic goal with the month of August, because in the month of August, there were some grids that, you know, the top pushing you that are taking you away, but you still need to have that to go,
If, put a, what can I say You have to have an anchor of where you're going all the time, all the time. So, okay. You didn't get to you, didn't you get, this month you have something that is distracting, but what is the goal If even if things don't work too well, what goal do you want to achieve And it would be very listed with the time, with the time and resources that you have at hand at this moment, when you have the middle of chaos and dreads, . What's happening around you now What is it what is the realistic goal that you must have that, okay. It doesn't have to be the biggest goal as, I mean that you're going to be a medium now, within that, that timeframe, But you can still be able to get maybe one client and ruin team member.
What is it that you can do with the chaos Because the moment you, the moment to remove your, your food from there, from the gas, then you say to you are going to come and start all over again. . And it's not good, always to be starting like a business that has a momentum. And then all of a sudden it pull back and then you have to come back. And that's why a lot of people give up with the business. Because if you keep putting your, your leg once time, you have a lot of momentum, a huge momentum, then all of a sudden you put your, or you pull your leg back, then you lose a preventer, will pick it up again. It takes, you know, to take time. So just have that realistic goal that you can achieve with the resources and the time that you have at the moment.
Okay. They have a huge, huge part of this is, and I know this, we struggle for us as entrepreneurs. We want that we are problem solvers. Number one, we are problem solvers. And we don't like asking for help. Okay. We don't like asking for help raise your hands. If you are like that, you don't like asking for help. it, it takes a long time before you ask for help. So it's super important. Remember that, you know, you can do this by yourself. You need that. You need that team. You need those people, you who you care about to be there for you at this moment. So when you are in those threads, when you read, when you know, things are happening, , left, left, you know, have, have a team of people, even your loved ones that you can lean into them and ask them for help.
You know, even if it's a simplest task inside of your business, ask them for help. You know, you you'll never know until you ask. . And that's actually, when you start, when you start giving, asking for help, you're going to realize that you are fighting. You're fighting more time to being creative, We are problem solvers. So you find more time, you release your mind. Some of that stress, the task that you are doing daily. So, you know, I learned very quickly how it's important for me. Number one, to have people that I can, you know, I can find comfort in. I can talk to, you know, don't put those things inside of you, the feelings, they, you know, what you're going through the feelings. If you put them in there, it even hats. And it, again, your energy, your energy, your performance would be affected by that.
So, you know, have a, have somebody that you talk on, you talk to, but also the most important thing is asking for help. Okay. Is it, you know, is it even typing, a virtual assistant who can help you with some of the tasks because, this, this is super important, We want when our life is happening, . That somebody, I think, I think it was, I don't know if you guys noticed some brands and he's my mentor. And, he say one thing that was super important and I never, never forget that, ended up renewals, We are those people who take other people's responsibilities and we make it our own. And in that is huge because when you take somebody else's responsibility of solving their problems, that doesn't mean that your problems have gone away. Your problems are still there, but the people ex expect you to show up, the people that you are serving, they don't know you have your problems.
Like for me, like this whole week on that, the two weeks that I have been away, you guys didn't know what was happening in my life. . But I still strive to show up. So that's why I'm saying it's important to have somebody who can help you still show up. And if you're in a position of having, you know, having a virtual assistant who can handle your, you know, your, either your social media or your content or your emails, so that you can continue, you know, you can, you can still continue, showing up for your brand and also showing up for your audience is it's super key. Okay. If you have the, if you have the, if you have the, how can I say, even have the capability to do that, The other thing also is even your, even your people like your brothers and your sisters, if you have those in there on social media, ask them for help, ask for them for help.
Like, these people are very techie. Like they will go on social media, they do things that you need to do, and they'll help you with that as well. Okay. so I think those were some of the things that I like, I relied on the last couple of weeks. And also one more thing I want to add, and this is a pro tip for you is, Hey, can I say, on social media, whatever platform that you are in, you can repurpose your content through this Mo through those weeks that you are knowing, oh my God, I'll be awake. or like, you know, I'm going to be not going to be very present. the, the other thing you can do is repurpose your content. Think about as long as that content is relevant. Think about the content that you created last year, and now you have a new audience.
Like you're either creating new audience. That means that audience has not seen the content that you produced last year, So you can repurpose that content. You can have somebody maybe sit down for an hour, two hours and create those content and probably even schedule those content. And those content will pop up, pop up, pop up, as on, you know, like you're still, you're still, there are tools that will help you do that either to repurpose to create those content, but also schedule those contents. So that even if you are gone for a whole month is to have evergreen content and you don't have to worry like, oh my God, I'm not showing up for my audience. I'm not generating leads, but if you have those things put in place, you know, you have, you have you at a very better place of, you know, don't feeling, how can I say guilt, like guilty that you're not showing up for your people.
All . So I hope that was helpful. I hope, you know, having something that is going on, or you're not, if you don't have anything going on, yet, because I happened to ask it to the best of us, I hope it helps you in, you know, in, in all areas of your life, you know, having, knowing to rely on other people, asking for help, not so, having systems that help you when you are gone, like, and you're far away, or when you, when you are out there focusing on those people in care about, and you're worried about how the system that has to help you with your business. Al, so that's it for today. I will come up with the outcome again with another episode or some episode to help you grow your business. But as of now, go ahead and, in the show notes, there's going to be a link to the inside of our new Facebook group that I'm creating, where I'm going to be sharing something or something I'm creating.
I'm creating a summit. We are going to be having a summit coming. So super excited about that, in October, but I'm going to be sharing the whole process of how to put up a whole summit and how you can use it inside of your business. How, how would it be awesome to see the whole end to end how you can create your own summit you know, bring people in, bring experts into yoga, into your, into your world, serve the people that you care about, and then grow your business from there. So I'm going to be sharing that because I was like, oh my God, this is super exciting. How is it Awesome? I can share it with other people. Who'd want to grow their audience using summit?
