Every Wednesday, join me (James Hammond) for a trendy coffee in a trendy cafe somewhere in the world. You will hear the ambience of the cafe as I describe the taste of the coffee as well giving you a run down of the cafe. What is the vibe? What do they offer? How much does an espresso cost? What blend do they use for their coffee? Where is it? All these questions and more will be answered to give you the information you need to check out the cafe in question. Come and join me on this journey to unknown places and cafes as I pick one at random and check it out. Who knows what will be in store or where I will be?

Hello and welcome to the nineteenth episode. This week I am in Nafplion in Greece which is a two hour drive from Athens in the Peloponnese Region. It used to be the old capital city of Greece so it has an awesome little Old Town which is where this week's cafe, Kentrikon is situated. Despite arguably being in the most touristy part of town, this is Greece in December where there are hardly any tourists and only the locals accompany you for a coffee. Hello and welcome to the eighteenth episode. This week I am back in the centre of Athens, Greece on Akadimias Street checking out Thomas Speciality Coffee. This trendy little corner cafe was found when I was checking out the local area around my airbnb. I was in desparate need for a coffee and not only did I get a trendy coffee which tasted amazing, I got two of my favourite snacks with it too. Unreal. Straight away I made the decision to go back the next morning to record an episode. Thanks to the guy who served me who gave me a Greek Xmas treat, they were consumed and loved on Xmas Day. Whilst wandering the streets of Athens checking out the sights, I needed a good coffee and breakfast to start the day. A little bit of research led me to Zampano cafe which was a 10 minute walk from our accommodation. It did not disappoint! My go to for a coffee is Sorry Coffee Co which has an awesome secret patio at the back. The coffee served is Mojo which are a staple in the Vancouver area. However, as good as the coffee is you should really check out the area for fantastic views of the mountains and water. Hello and welcome to the third episode. This week I am in my old stomping ground in Vancouver in an area called Kitsilano. This part of town has a beach, tons of independent shops, some amazing brunch establishments as well as great coffee. It felt great to be back and I loved walking around the trendy streets in Kits. You have an array of different types of people here ranging from young professionals, families to students.
I was super excited to try out Kits Beach Coffee this week as we used to grab their coffee on the beach during the summer the last few years. They started off with a coffee cart right by Kits Beach and now, they have transferred their service to a full time cafe on Cornwall Avenue. Hello and welcome to the second episode. This week I am on Hornby Island which is just off the coast of Vancouver Island. Travelling from North Vancouver, we set off for the long weekend on three separate ferries (and of course the three drives in between) to get to the 'Hawaii' of British Columbia. The journey was totally worth it!
I was super excited to try out Vorizo Cafe on the island and the coffee did not disappoint! They use a super local roast which I describe in the video. You will get other pieces of information such as the opening hours, vibe, the full menu as well a feel for the whole island. I loved recording the journey and different parts of the island and I really hope you feel like you were part of the journey too. You must visit Hornby Island and Vorizo Cafe!

Hello and welcome to the first episode. This week I am in Downtown Vancouver at Little Cafe on Robson which is on Robson Street. A lovely chic cafe with some awesome coffee, so good I got a second one. I talk about the vibe, the type of coffee they serve, opening hours, what food to have with your coffee, my reaction to the taste of the coffee and much more!
