This is a Christian, faith based podcast. This podcast is about following Jesus and shining your light for Him in our daily lives! It don't stop after Sunday service!Speaking of Sunday service, I will discuss Sunday evening sermon thoughts as well as thoughts about interviews and interviews with different types of Christian ministries in my area. I might occasionally start a read through of different books of the Bible and discuss my personal thoughts about it. I am not a teacher but I am called to share the gospel! In first Corinthians 15:1-4 it tells us that Christ was born, shed his blood, died, and rose again. After having completed His work on the cross and ascending into heaven to sit at the right hand of the Father we are told, to believe in Him is to be granted eternal life and to be born again of the spirit. It is no longer I that live by Christ that lives through me!If you haven't already accepted Jesus as your Savior and started you personal walk and relationship with Him then remember, TODAY is the day of salvation. We are not promised tomorrow, or even our next breath. Trust in God and you will go from death to life in Christ Jesus

In this episode Robbie and Amy talk about their Anna Jonesboro Celebrate Recovery program. Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered 12-step program based on eight principles of the Beatitudes.
Serena is a former addict who lived in addition for over 10 years. She is now working to help others overcome their addiction problems.
In this episode I talk about my personal thoughts on the feast days and how Jesus fulfills them.
I'm a little rusty and still new to understaning the Jewishness of the feasts and festivals. So understand there could be some mistakes on how I understand the ritual part of the feasts... but I'm focusing on the Jesus shadows, not the rituals.
This is my understanding only.
Jesus arrested late Thursday night/Friday morning trial... crucified by noon... taken to the tomb BEFORE Shabbat started that evening.
Sunday morning (on the third day according to lunar calendar not gregorian) Jesus rose from the dead. This could mean he resurrected in the EVENING on Sunday not sunrise as traditionally taught. The specifics are very not that important to me... I believe by FAITH not by evidence.
ANY WAY....
I'm also not a Bible scholar just a Bible student, but aren't we all!
In this episode I speak with sister Sandy about her food pantry Ministry in rural southern Illinois. She discusses how she went from being a small pantry, to being able to help other small pantries in our area.
Kent and Melinda talk about how the Lord has worked through them to spread the Gospel to women in prison in 8 states, and how it all started with a little prayer group in Union County.
This interview was such a blessing to me. I pray that it also blesses and encourages you to begin the work the Lord is calling you into.
There are a lot of times where we accidentally ruin our chance of being an effective Witness for Christ. Today's blog addresses this a tad.
Foster parenting testimony.
In my eyes, facing experienced fostering first hand as well, I see fostering as a ministry!
The Lord tells us to take care of the widows, orphans, and foreigners. Later in Galatians we see Paul still caring this out in chapter 2 verse 10. The book of James also tells us that our religion is useless if we don't help this grip of people.
"Brooke" is under an alias and will return to the podcast when he case is closed in 6 months!

Today is the day of salvation... repent and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved.
Believe that Jesus was born in the flesh, lived a life of humbleness, died on the cross for our sins, was buried and rose again on the third day. He was seen by Peter, James, and then the twelve. Later he ascended ban into heaven to the right hand of the Father where he depends is day and night against the accuser of our souls.
Anyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
He's coming back! Be ready!
In this episode I briefly discuss a little about how I got started, what my plans are for a few future podcast, and supporting our local outreach organizations.
I have decided that interviewing other ministries is a great way to show up coming generations what being the hands and feet of Jesus looks like outside of the building and in our everyday lives.
My hope is during this process I might also discover where I belong in ministry so I can, like so many others, finally feel as though I am serving others and not burying my talents and gifts like the wicked servant.
