Our interview this week is with David Murray. His book Luke - Stories of Mission and Mercy is a great devotional. I loved the first line of the description of the book. “If you want to change your story, you need to know God’s story.” He and Adam went into this on the interview. Kevin DeYoung digs into Luke 3 with this message. He goes into Jesus, the giver of the Holy Spirit.
Alas Christmas is behind us. But our celebration of Jesus is just begun. We are picking up right where we left off in Luke and seeing what happened after that night in the stable. Benjamin Gladd is helping us in our quest through Luke with his book om the Manger to the Throne: A Theology of Luke. This is a great interview and easy to listen too. Ben and Adam had a great time in their conversation. Up next this week Albert Mohler is taking us through the story of Simeon and Anna and their discovery of Jesus the Savior.

Our interview this week is with Greg Lanier. He is the author of the book Old Made New. Many Bible readers have difficulty understanding the Old Testament’s connection to the New Testament, and some even believe it’s obsolete in light of God’s new covenant. In reality, New Testament writers alluded to earlier books of the Bible roughly 300–400 times. The Old Testament isn’t outdated; it’s critical to understanding the rest of Scripture. So Adam and Greg dug into the subject of the Old Testament and is it relevant.
