The Father, Jesus and Holy Spirit all have a desire for you that cultivated a goal making a plan that Jesus come to this earth. Jesus sacrificed based on a desire that He, the Father and Holy Spirit shared regarding you in eternity past. It is wonderful to think about. I find it to be the greatest privilege ever offered to mankind.

When Scripture speaks of the heart becoming hardened through the deceitfulness of sin it is speaking about the sin of unbelief. Hebrews 3 expounds on the danger of hardening the heart by not taking God at His word. What word? The word of His willingness to bring you into all He’s promised you and deliver you.
A true Spirit led church is content with the presence of God. They know that the fire of the Spirit magnifies Jesus Christ and transforms lives. They know that the world, the false church, or any of the religious systems will never be able to offer the wonderful presence of God in the power of the Holy Spirit. They also know that those truly drawn by the Holy Spirit will recognize God’s presence and will be most satisfied with it.
Too often believers needlessly struggle to find victory because they aren’t equipped to take ground at the front lines of the battle. In this two part series we will discover how God has given you everything you need to win this battle and enjoy the freedom that is yours in Christ Jesus.

In Christ you are called to thrive not just survive. In Christ it is your destiny to reign in life.

When we eat we provide nourishment for our bodies that results in growth and health. When we dwell on grace we grow in it. Not that it increases it is simply that we increase in our awareness of of it and just how available it is.
You’ll never be able to earn the favor of God. You cannot work hard and then ask for raise in it. It is a free gift given through Jesus Christ.
It’s one thing to say you know you have favor. But it is a whole other thing to relish it and wallow in it. His favor is meant to be appreciated and enjoyed.
Sometimes a gift can go unappreciated. It might even be regifted when its value is not seen. For a gift to be appreciated fully it must first be received.
Being encouraged and equipped to enjoy Jesus is the key to growing in your trust in God. Trust sets you free to be and to do the things the Holy Spirit wants to lead you into so you can increase in all the ways God desires for you to increase.
Let’s have a look at a great story that demonstrates to us what trusting looks like in the most dire of situations.
God is not out to lead His children into decline and diminish them and their influence on this earth. He is determined to bring about increase.
When there is healthy relationship taking place trust comes easily. This is especially true when there is integrity on display.

What you see when you look into the mirror regarding who you are needs to pass through the filter of the gospel. If you get the image right and remind yourself frequently of the truth concerning you found in the gospel you will be well equipped to live as the new creation you are in Christ.

When it comes to virtue it is important to know when and where it is to be applied. We must first have faith before we seek to add virtue. Otherwise, we are putting our confidence in ourselves as opposed to the work of Christ.
