Ally Bazely

This podcast endeavours to close the gap between what we think grief is like, and what grief is ACTUALLY like, with a little bit of light and levity wherever possible.

This episode endeavours to take a very big Universal law and apply it to how you can connect with the person you have loved and lost, seemingly all under 15 minutes.

Truthfully, the reality is quite simple. So tune in, and let me know what you think of the episode!

This episode starts to unpack the reasons why we can find ourselves stuck in our grief, trudging through our present, and unable to co-create the future we desire for ourselves.

Feelings of stuckness and resistance in becoming the people we want to be in life post loss are natural, and are not a sign that you are failing at grieving, or not doing your best to move forward in your life.

AND - I know there are ways that we can support ourselves in moving forward lovingly with our grief and unstucking ourselves from the past by digging up the anchor keeping us tied to our grief.

This episode starts to unpack the idea of how past grief can show up in new ways as we experience big moments of transition in our lives.

I share a few personal examples (as I often do in each episode) to highlight how what most may see as joyous moments of celebration can also bring sorrow, sadness, and any other myriad of emotions in one's life post loss.

This introductory episode serves as a launching off point for what I hope to be a paradigm shifting and ongoing narrative of grief/grieving and loss.

Grief is a natural response to loss and yet as a person who has experienced a significant amount of grief - including quite recently - I can both tell you it feels totally UN-natural when you do experience it (especially given how we are societally conditioned to expect to feel - but that's a whole other episode) and I do not believe that needs to be the case.

Let me know who you'd like me to interview, and please consider subscribing and leaving a review because if I know one thing, it's that we will all at some point experience grief.

Let's start to normalize grief now.
