When it comes to Disney resorts, the “monorail resorts” are the peak of the Disney resort experience. As we’ve discussed in previous blogs, the monorail is one of the original forms of Disney transportation that runs between Magic Kingdom and Epcot, as well as through three deluxe Disney resorts: the Grand Floridian, the Polynesian, and the Contemporary. All of these resorts feature regular rooms as well as Disney Vacation Club sections. Today we will share some information about each of the monorail resorts, and which we would be most likely to stay at!

Off site options are almost always cheaper, but staying on site offers conveniences such as proximity to the parks and the ability to use Disney transportation (monorail, buses, boats, and Skyliner). Over the next few weeks we are going to talk about our favorite on site resorts at Walt Disney World.
