There are many different routes to take when it comes to generating multiple streams of income, and making passive income. Something I have realized is that in order to make more money, working harder isn’t necessarily the answer. Working smarter, is.

How do you create something no one can take from you? Going to the gym consistently taught me about building a routine, commitment, dedication and discipline. Everything I learned in the gym, I can use in other areas of my life. It has helped me build confidence, respect myself, love myself and know that I can do anything I put my mind to.

It’s about being able to grow your mind just as much as your body. Mental toughness is something no one can take from you.

Instant gratification doesn’t grow you, delayed gratification does. What would your life look like if you stopped avoiding doing what you knew you needed to do?

A big part of becoming successful is having a plan when it feels like everything is turned against you. What version of you will you choose to be? When the moments of struggle come, what will your plan be? Will you listen to people who want to talk negativity over your life? Will you let your inner doubts and insecurities take over? Are you going to give up early on your goals? Decide what your plan will be.

We live in a world that seems to glorify victim mentality. It’s become accepted to think that we are simply a victim of our upbringing, our skin color, our gender or whatever else we may choose to decide makes us at a disadvantage.

In some cases, we are even rewarded for being socially disadvantaged.

And it feels good at first. It feels good to throw yourself a pity party and make excuses for why you are the way you are and why you aren’t as successful as you could have been.

I think we are all hypocrites to a certain extent. We all say we care about one thing, yet do another. We all say we believe in certain things and then do things that totally negate those beliefs.

How can we truly discover someone’s values? Can we simply trust that they value what they say they value? Or do we need to watch their actions?

The best way to determine what someone values is to watch what they spend their time, money and energy on.

The statement “that’s it” when it comes to our problems could help maintain our composure in the heat of the moment when things are not going our way. It sees the problem, it acknowledges the problem, and it says okay. It is what it is. Let’s keep going. Don’t let this problem become more than it is. Don’t let it get the best of you.

The dictionary definition of Intention is: a thing intended; an aim or plan.

Are we making decisions with an eventual goal, aim or plan in place?

As I have talked about before, our dream life, income, partner, etc. will not just fall into our lives one day. These are things we have to work towards and for. These are things we have to invest in, learn about, grow in and have a plan of action as to how we will achieve them.

For anyone who has big goals and wants to accomplish them, accepting the inevitability of failure is a must. We need to get over this mental hurdle that failure is somehow a bad thing. Once we accept that we will fail and we will fail often, we will welcome failures as what they actually are. A learning experience.

It's common for people to overlook the work, the dedication and the daily "boring" decisions that building something of value takes. No body wants to be disciplined, but everyone wants the results that that discipline produces. Plenty of people will say that they wish they had accomplished what you have, without seeing the years of struggle and pain it took for you to get there. People see the big things and they conveniently miss the small things. When it's actually all the small things that paved the way for the big things. You cannot be impressed by someone's accomplishments while simultaneously ignoring the process it took to get there.
