Some comments post-election in America. The Lord has given us "space" to be able to build for His kingdom. Let's not squander this opportunity but RUN the race that is set before us.
Late night prayer meditation to conclude a special week of focused prayer + fasting as we head into the American elections.
A few comments made at the start regarding the upcoming elections held in America. Join us in prayer if you are able. Daily United Prayerwww.unitedprayer.net
A meditation brought in the aftermath of Hurrican Helene. We are located in Greenville, SC -- over 90% of which is still without power and limited service. It's a mess out there with downed trees, long gas lines, and long grocery lines. God is speaking to us. Is anyone listening?Christianity is not a luxury religion. It is a religion of the storms.
Prayer talk given on DAY 1200 of United Prayer. The Lord has blessed us, the Lord has known us, the Lord is with us. Pray with us:www.unitedprayer.netAlso, this day, Aug 31, 1688, marks the anniversary of the death of John Bunyan, an influential English writer and preacher best known for his Christian allegory, "The Pilgrim's Progress."
Another late night Friday special prayer time devoted to praying for our families and the next generation.
The headlines are filled with the 2024 Paris Olympics, often for unfortunate reasons. I took the opportunity with this prayer meditation today to think about the Paris Olympics 100 years ago in 1924 with Eric Liddell -- a gold-medalist who gave up fame and fortune to wholly follow the Lord. We are a dedicated group of individuals of all ages from around the world that meet over Zoom to pray. These are the devotionals brought at the beginning of each prayer time. Will you consider joining us to pray for revival? M-F 12pm ET:www.unitedprayer.net
From time to time, those that are able will engage in a period of fasting and praying specifically to pray for the salvation of our families. We do this in response to the teaching of Christ in Mark 9. This devotional was brought on the evening of the Friday Fast, after which time was spent in prayer to conclude the day.
A devotional brought at one of our united prayer meetings online. Join us for prayer each M-F at 12pm ET, and then at the end of each week I bring a little different devotional like this one on Saturdays at 10am ET. Zoom link and times below:www.sermonaudio.com/unitedprayer
An impromptu appeal for 100 praying saints. We all know it's not about numbers. However, we understand that when a call for prayer is made, having 10 people respond is not the same as having 100 people respond. Sometimes it's the only way we can measure whether the Lord is stirring in hearts. The Lord has so touched my heart after the prayer time today to send out this appeal for 100 participants on our daily united prayer. There are many things we often commit to -- going to the gym, meeting for lunch, watching our favorite tv show. But how about committing with us to listen to a meditation from God's word each day at 12 noon eastern time and then engaging in prayer with saints from around the world? What part of the world are you in? Is your region represented on our prayer call? We are praying for revival in our nations and in our families. Is it not time for you to join like-minded brothers and sisters and pray for the same? We're presently at 50. Will you be part of the 100?www.unitedprayer.net
The meditation today was unusually long in order to do a bit of course-correcting. I believe the crux of the matter is this whole business of agreement. There are two options we have going forward.
I took a few minutes at the beginning of this prayer talk to help refocus our efforts in prayer for this prayer meeting on REVIVAL. There are prayer meetings for many things: evangelism, missions, health, etc. But this prayer was established to specifically focus on the need for REVIVAL. May God help us to keep that in focus. The actual meditation starts at 10:00 is about the thief on the cross and deals with his PRAYER in its simplicity, its faith, and its answer. May the Lamb receive the reward of His sufferings.
The last meditation that I brought before our 24-hour prayer meeting held on the campus of Bob Jones University, FEB 15-16 from 7pm-7pm ET. I hope you can join us. Blessed are they that hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled.Learn more:www.24prayer.com
This meditation was brought on the evening of New Years Eve 2023 at a late night Zoom prayer meeting where our United Prayer friends prayed in the new year.
The last scheduled prayer devotional brought in 2023 before we enter the New Year of 2024. We learn some important lessons from the life of Samson and the secret of his strength.I genuinely apologize for the longer-than-normal length of this recording but I have included some additional comments that are particular to the end-of-year meditation. This should not be taken as the standard length!
This devotional was brought at a recent United Prayer meeting. Join us each day at 12pm Eastern Time via Zoom as we gather to pray for revival and for the advancement of Christ's kingdom on earth.M-F 12pm ET // Sat 10am ETwww.sermonaudio.com/unitedprayer
Thankful for the ministry of JONATHAN FULLER of the BJU School of Theology in bringing the brief meditation for our Friday Noon United Prayer Meeting.
This meditation was brought on DAY #930 of Daily United Prayer. As we climb higher up the mountain of unrelenting daily prayer, the oxygen grows thinner, natural energy grows dimmer, and we have to fight harder for each and every step.Join us if you can:www.unitedprayer.net
This prayer devotional was brought on DAY 900 of Daily United Prayer. A more appropriate meditation could not have been brought on this milestone of a day in my opinion. We shall reap if we faint not.
In this brief devotional, we seek to answer the question of WHY in regards to The Foundations Conference. What are we trying to achieve? Why has this conference been raised up?
At the start of this prayer call, Steven Lee laid out some off-the-cuff remarks of SermonAudio's vision for the future.
