With an intentional community-focused, Christ-centred message that equips people to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ, Rhythm Church empowers people to discover their God intended purpose.
We are continuing our series on Kingdom Essentials, and in this episode, Ps Murray chats through what it means to be adopted into God's family as a son or daughter. God is a good Daddy and only wants the best for His children, but sometimes we can have a broken view of what that relationship looks like based on our relationship with our earthly dads. But God wants to bring restoration where there may be brokenness, He wants to bring healing from hurt and guide us along the journey of trusting Him as our Daddy.
Dive in with us as we launch our new series, Kingdom Essentials with a message about knowing and experiencing the love of Abba Daddy.
Scripture is filled with many statements about the character and love of our Daddy God, and we can hold firmly to the truth that we are loved, set free, and adopted as His child. We can speak His affirmations through scripture over ourselves, declare that "God says I am His child and I am never alone, for He will never leave me, or forsake me." When we experience Daddy God's love for us, it opens us up to experience hope and joy in all circumstances, and allows us to hold onto His love that never fails! Our Abba Daddy is a good, loving and faithful God, and He loves us so deeply!
This Pentecost Sunday, the amazing Will Zillman shared a message on the purpose God has given us as His children, and the power we have in the Holy Spirit to bring His Kingdom here on earth!
The mother of our house, Ps Kathy, shares a message from the Book of Ruth. While only 4 chapters long, it is a book of such wisdom about the character and redeeming love of God. Through tragedy and grief (or whatever circumstances we walk through in our lives), we can trust in God because He will never fail! Naomi taught Ruth how to walk in faith and trust the Lord above all else, and when we trust in God as our foundation, we can rest assured that He will bring us through every circumstance we face.
In this episode, Murray shares a message on how the condition of our hearts can determine our proximity to the presence of God. He shares some daily habits we can do to help cultivate the soil of our hearts to draw closer to God and allow Him to work in us and through us.
We are launching a new series called Gathered: The Proximity Principle. In this series, we are talking about the effects the presence of God has on our lives when we get close, in proximity, with God and how it is displayed everywhere we go.
In this message, guest speaker Colin Doherty shares on what it means to have faith in God. We are called to represent God to our world as a light on the hill, but how can we do that without first knowing who He is. His word is filled with countless things He says about Himself. He is merciful, He is loving, He is gracious, and these are just some of the things He says about himself. It is our choice whether we believe Him.
This week we dive into Ephesians 1 where we explore how God sees us, his children. He loves us so deeply that he has blessed us with every spiritual blessing and speaks highly of us, so we can speak highly of ourselves! We are chosen, loved and favoured by God!
This Easter Sunday message revealed who God has always been. His nature revealed in Christ and in those who believe in Jesus.
Jesus fulfilled more than 350 prophecies and the probabilty of him fulfilling just 8 is like 10(157). He came, died and rose to reveal God's love and nature to humanity. As believers of the Way of Christ, our new in Christ nature is that of JESUS. Peace and Joy should be our default. Let's get this party started will encourage you to be transformed more like Christ.
Despite the suffering and shame, Jesus still says it is finished. Jesus continues to be with us in our turmoil, in our pain and in our suffering. Help us to reflect on, and to contemplate the death of Jesus, a cornerstone in History. It is finished.
In This Session, Ps Kathy shares how intimacy and knowing God is a critical element to experiencing the Kingdom of Heaven. Through her practical application, you will leave challenged yet encouraged to seek God and to spend time in His presence.
During this episode of Your Kingdom Come, Pastor Murray shares his passion for people to experience the Kingdom of God in their lives. In this message Kathy will point you and lead you on how you can trust in Jesus and find a hope that overcomes.
As we continue this Red Letter Series, we walk through from Noah to Jesus how Grace and Favour was found in the eyes of God and man.
In this message, we see that Jesus is still doing miracles, and we learn how to walk in healing around some of the hidden illnesses such as depression and anxiety.
Be a disciple of Jesus doesn't have to be complicated. Colin Doherty brings a lighthearted approach to being a follower of Christ. Through examples of the individuals from the gospels, we can apply the same principles today in taking the pressure off in becoming a disciple.
It is easy to fill our suitcases with unnecessary items that so often weigh us down from fulfilling our true God-given potential. In this message, Ps Murray shares how distraction can also weigh us down and we learn how to monitor the distractions that so often trap us from true fulfilment.
Recorded at Rhythm Church Sunshine Coast, Pastor Murray brings a message that will help us during this Christmas period to not take on more, but to let go of the luggage that weighs us down. Through this message we will discover how to apply King Solomons advice of “And yet, “Better to have one handful with quietness than two handfuls with hard work and chasing the wind.”” (Ecclesiastes 4:6, NLT). We hope you enjoy the message. For more information head to Rhythm.au
