It is “History of English Literature” In this episode we, the students of 9 A, will take to you to the stages of the History of English literature The introduction and history of English literature go side by side. You can’t get the complete introduction of English literature without going deep down in its history. The history of English literature initiated with the history of the English race and kept on developing with the social development of the nation. English literature consists of 8 major periods and several ages. Each period or age of English literature is named after the central literacy figure, or the important rulers of England, or certain literacy movements, In this episode we, the students of 9 A, will take to you to the era of Renaissance. The word Renaissance comes from the French word for “rebirth”, referring to the movement’s origins following the Dark ages and the new interest in and rediscovery of Greek and Roman texts that inspired the minds of the time. It was a period between the 1300s and 1660. This episode will give the information on contribution of William Shakespeare and its famous plays like Hamlet and Romeo and Juliet. This episode will provide Victorian literature refers to English literature during the reign of Queen Victoria who ruled from 1837 to 1901, The Victorian era was known to be the golden era of literature novelists during the Victorian era began to direct their attention towards social issues. In this episode, 9 A students’ talks about poetry, It uses figurative language and different poetic devices to suggest different interpretations of words or to evoke other ideas that are not literally connected with the words. The career path that we choose is influenced by a lot of factors- our mindset, goals, passion, and most especially the circumstances that surround us. Whether it be social or peer pressure, expectations from family, or having to take up the responsibility of increasing the overall income of a household, whatever it is, taking such an important decision under these circumstances is never the solution to pursuing one’s passion.

The mode of education has evolved over the years. In early times, there were no books or notebooks. After the invention of paper and pen, the mode of learning started to evolve to a point and now we have technology taking over the traditional teaching methods.
Technology has made education readily available. There are multiple platforms and applications where students can ask their doubts or have a live interaction with their teachers if required. Easy access to the internet and other resources has made learning easy as well as enjoyable. However, this can be very easily misused.
Further, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the only possible way of education is through online schooling. Technology rescued students from being uneducated for a year, due to the technology that made education possible during COVID crisis.

A role model is a person who inspires you to be like him. Moreover, a role model is a person you love and want to be like him. Besides this, they can be anyone from a celebrity to a politician to your family member. Women empowerment can be defined as a means to promote a woman’s sense of self-worth, their ability to determine their own choices and their right to influence social changes for themselves and others.
Students of 8A are here with their podcast on women empowerment to spread awareness amongst the public. The podcast comprises a speech of Ms. Kiran Bedi, the first woman in India to join the officer ranks of the Indian Police Service. She introduced several reforms at Tihar Jail, which gained world-wide acclaim.
